Happy Palm Sunday, Everyone! We are clearing out after a few days of storms, and the winds are wild so we are drying out.

Everything right now is about moving this week, as well as teaching. It's a juggling act, but I've learned how to juggle through the decades! My house looks like every cabinet and closet blew up into boxes which are EVERYWHERE! There is no room to walk. The hard part is keeping balance for things like posting Quilt Squares, getting teaching things together for tomorrow, and figuring out what dinner will be. We are trying to use up the rest of what is in the deep freeze so we can thaw it out before the movers arrive. It's a work in progress.

Dinner is a mystery at this point.

How about you? Share a square or just "What's for dinner?"

Beautiful day in the mid 60s with a light breeze.

A neighbor gifted me with some crappie that he had even cleaned. He caught them this am so they were super fresh. I'm not a big fish eater but I must admit they were really good. I made some homemade tartar sauce, macaroni and cheese and and asparagus to fill out my meal.

Have a great week ya'll!

DH had a leftover half sandwich for lunch (with chips and pickles and a cookie) and I had leftover Chinese (sesame chicken).

It's on day 3 of on-again, off-again rain here. I'd like to go do a little bit garden-wise, but I also have lots of unpleasant things to do inside (laundry, ironing, pickup), which I am trying to work up some motivation for.

"Dinner is unknown", a frequent phrase of DH's, which probably means takeout of some kind, or it could mean more leftovers (he has half a Vietnamese sandwich, I have chicken wings, or there's deli roast beef we could make sandwiches from).

Enjoy your week, everyone!

I give up.
Made some rice and steamed broccoli for lunch, and it was kind of heavy. So I just had a Greek yogurt (mixed berry with pomegranate, delicious) for dinner. If I get real hungry later I can have a hotdog with mustard. The weather is good for here, 30 degrees and sunny all day, so I can't complain there.

Have a great week everybody!!

:)

Life is better in flip flops
Our 7 year old grandson stayed with us this weekend which is always a fun time :) we've had mild, sunny weather this weekend too.
For dinner we had barbecued chicken sandwiches and baked beans. Really simple but good!
I pray everyone has a blessed week!

It's cold again in the high desert but too bad we missed the rain.
I made spaghetti and sausage for lunch with a salad so DH just wants an Orgain drink for dinner. I may or may not eat something but it won't be much if I do. Maybe some cereal. Just noticed my tablet is down to 9 % so it's over and out for me. Have a wonderful week everyone!

Very good report from the doctor's appointment last Friday, so I went out for Mexican today(carryout). Just a little place that I have been to several times and very good. I think 6 months ago was the last time I was there. Beef enchilada's and chili Reano's. Last time there $16; now $24 just carryout for one guy! Let's Go Brandon!

Grats on the good report.

I just made a salad. Now waiting to see if DH is going to heat up some packaged Indian chicken (Sukey's, I think) or have his remaining half Vietnamese sandwich. Either way, I'll have the salad (with the Indian chicken or with some leftover chicken wings).

Still using up the corned beef I bought on sale.
Making eggrolls with it.
Lovely spring weather here.
I thought about that for awhile, and then thought that it sounds like China meets Germany. Could a Humbao be filled with corned beef? I wonder what that might taste like? Cardinal; you must have a recipe you can share...

This one is simple and straightforward, although there are a dozen out there.
