Solar Northern Lights Watch, (M class Solar flare)

Nice M class Solar Flare headed our way, only low level geomagnetic storms from the flare are expected due to the weak coronal hole stream. So no SHTF yet unfortunately. Big enough that all you guys down there in the lower 48 might see some lights. Sadly it might be cloudy up here.

Did anyone see an aurora? Thanks for the heads up AL. I looked last night (PNW) but didn't see anything.

Someone took photos in Fort Dodge, Iowa last night of the auroras and they were pretty bright!

I saw them back in Illinois in the 1960's. They were very nice.
