Last night around mid nite a mountain lion visited, running on our deck around the house screeching and cuffing, then down to the tent where dear daughter and son in law were sleeping, running up down the creek, around the tent platform. I tried to video the sounds it made but could not capture It well.
Then I woke up around four with a massive headache.
Shortly after that a quake happened of the coast.
A small one. About 3.6.
We did not feel the quake.
Woke up with the headache and it final dissipated at 10 a.m.
the USFS is grading the road into our place, that is the last visit from them this fire season.
The Incident Command group is shutting down and the McCash Fire is being handed off to the local forest service unit.
What a wild and crazy summer fire season it has been.
