Just a baby 3.1 this time, but that makes 84 quakes in the area since April 18th.

WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Ind., is reporting that a 3.1-magnitude quake Thursday night struck Bellmont in southern Illinois, about 5 miles northwest of Mount Carmel.

No damage or injuries yet have been reported.

It was the 84th earthquake in the New Madrid fault line area since April 18, when a 5.2 temblor near Bellmont was felt in the Rock River Valley.
