What do you suggest I compromise on?
Should I compromise on socialized medicine? Extortion against the more well-to-do? Accept higher taxes so as to give even more to the parasites among us? Surrender more of my property rights? Give up my evil black guns? Be licensed for all the others (guns). Forgive the two-faced and criminal UN officials and all those govts that were working against us in our efforts to defend ourselves? Should I give more money to AIDS research? Support the destruction of western values - such as the 10 Commandments? Most of all - should I reach out to the poor and disadvantaged muslims who are only intent upon our destruction because of how we've wronged them?
Compromise --- HELL NO!
As for mudslinging - it was the 'rats that were actively engaged in deceit and character assasination.

Thank you, Phoenix. I agree. Compromise only lowers standards to the lowest common denominator. We need higher standards, not lower.
