Good call - maybe not.

Although it's now a twitter battle as to who to believe in twitter universe as it was also a twitter poster that said the charges were dropped. Probably best to take a 'wait and see' approach and wait for official word from the appropriate department (if we ever get it).

Edmund DeMarche @EDeMarche

Napa DA’s office just told the Trends Journal that Paul Pelosi’s DUI charge is ‘under review.’ Reports that they were dropped are false.

It is a sign of how corrupt the USA is that the charges being dropped was widely believed before being verified Red Baron, because we EXPECTED them to be. After all, the clinton campaign lawyer just walked on lying to the FBI. Look at Hunter Biden's crime.

The damage has already been done in terms of public trust.

Good point, dug a little deeper and it maybe assumptions as JustUS historically flows in one direction.

BREAKING REPORT: California Highway Patrol DENIES having dashcam / body cam footage and MUGSHOT of Paul Pelosi following DUI CRASH, refuses WRITTEN REQUEST FROM FOX NEWS – then HANGS UP on network following a phone request for the same information...

Of course they won’t release the footage. Releasing it will make it so much harder on them when they inevitably get pressured into dropping the charges. If they don’t drop them budgets will be cut promotions passed over etc. Don’t you know how this works yet?

And the guy in the Jeep he hit, I wonder if he got a new Jeep in the process and was told to keep it under wraps?
Heh. I would demand both a new Porsche and a new jeep to shut up and go away. Yet, the fact of the matter remains: this man is dangerous and needs to spend time in the slammer. He can share a cell with his wife. Lol. Can you IMAGINE?!!? I would be in psych at the 48 hour mark if I had to do that.

BREAKING: Unconfirmed reports that the FBI has attempted to seize the dash cam footage of the #Pelosi arrest for drunk driving from police in Sacramento The footage shows Paul and Nancy Pelosi in an unflattering light

Since they were on opposite sides of the country when this occurred, I'm wondering how dash cam footage camera footage shows Paul and Nancy Pelosi in an unflattering light?

Countrymouse

Heard he also had an ACCIDENT while drunk.

Has he been declared "not at fault", so the other poor guy is on the hook on his own insurance for his auto repair? Or will he AT LEAST be declared "at fault" so HIS insurance fixes the little guy's car?

If not, the little guy needs to RAISE HE!!.

What happens if the officers involved are offered jobs in cali with full relocation benefits to Florida or Texas if they don't drop things? Political leverage in this case can have serious consequences to push things as well...

Carl2

Pass it forward...
Note that the police waited 4-1/2 hours before testing his blood alcohol content. He must have been quite drunk to have tested at .08 BAC after 4-1/2 hours to metabolize the alcohol away! They do not wait 4-1/2 hours to test "Joe Sixpack". . .

JUST IN: Paul Pelosi, husband of @SpeakerPelosi, charged with DUI
— BNN Newsroom (@BNNUS) June 23, 2022
The day after his arrest, Nancy Pelosi’s office responded to the news that her husband was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Northern California.
Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s spokesperson, released a statement saying the 80-year-old California lawmaker would not be commenting on the alleged crime.

“The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast,” Hammill said in a statement.
Speaker Pelosi was in Rhode Island on Sunday giving a commencement speech at Brown University.
It didn’t take long for many social media users on both sides of the political aisle to weigh in on the matter.
Colorado GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert: “This Memorial Day weekend, remember not to drink and drive. Save a life, call an Uber. @SpeakerPelosi.”
Chad Prather, The Blaze: “Paul Pelosi is worth $120M and this economy is so bad even he can’t afford a chauffeur.”
Conservative commentator Brigitte Gabriel: “Paul Pelosi is worth over $100 million and he can’t afford to call a cab.”
Democrat strategist Peter Daou: “The DUI is bad, but the Pelosi family’s insider trading is even worse.”
Harmeet K. Dhillon, attorney: “Thank God no one was hurt. Hope he gets some help for this problem.”
Jesse Kelly, radio host: “Always blows me away when this happens to rich people. Dude is worth over $100 million. Bro, hire a driver. My word.”
Mike Cernovich, political commentator: “The body metabolizes alcohol as you get older. I know a guy who got a DUI in his 70s. He had only had two glasses of wine at dinner, but those machines say what they say. Keep this in mind as we all get older. One glass even might trigger those machines.”
Charles Gasparino, journalist: “With all the money these people make trading stocks you would think they can afford an Uber.”
Mark Levin, radio host: “Can’t really blame him.”
Jason Rantz, radio host: “As long as there’s no special treatment, not sure it’s news that the husband of Nancy Pelosi got a DUI.”
Chad Prather, The Blaze: “Nancy Pelosi’s husband arrested for DUI. If she was your wife, you’d be drinking and trying to get away too.”

Since 1999
Jesse Waters spent a lot of time on this in his show. There was someone else in the car with Paulie P. Both cars were totaled. The sheriff showed up, but then left before the highway patrol showed up. Fire Dept was also called. Paulie P sat in his car for quite a long time before he even moved to get out of the car.....extremely long time.

Makes me go ummm. Who was in the car? Another woman?

Paul Pelosi to be arraigned on DUI causing injury charges Wednesday
Paul Best

Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury and driving with .08% blood alcohol level or higher causing injury, the Napa County District Attorney's Office said in a press release on Monday.

The charges stem from a crash on May 28, when a 2014 Jeep struck Pelosi's 2021 Porsche at an intersection around 10 p.m. that evening.

Pelosi, 81, allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of .082% when a sample was taken about two hours after the crash.

The district attorney said that misdemeanor charges were filed "based upon the extent of the injuries suffered by the victim." It's unclear what those injuries are and the driver of the Jeep was not arrested.

Pelosi or his defense counsel will enter a plea at the arraignment on Wednesday. A defendant in a misdemeanor DUI case does not have to be present in the courtroom for an arraignment under California law.

The district attorney said when charges were filed in June that the punishment for DUI causing injury as a misdemeanor "includes up to five years of probation, a minimum of five days in jail, installation of an ignition interlock device, fines and fees, completion of a court ordered drinking driver class, and other terms as appropriate."

I'd like to see someone calculate Nancy's insider trading profits for her whole political career, and fine them (him, but marital debts are joint and several most states) that amount.
