…… Moles - the kind that live underground; how to get rid of them?

If my pups ever catch on to hunting moles, I can make a pile just renting them out in my neighborhood.
What kind are they? Terriers are sort of the default, but we had English Shepherds and Border Collies both who were good mole and chipmunk hunters... which caused more lawn damage than any mole or 'munk ever did!

My neighbor has a stream behind his house and tried everything, had exterminators come and nothing worked (chemicals, traps, etc.. He started feeding the local TNR cats and they brought him the moles and he gave them cat food treats. today the moles are Not in his backyard. The next neighbor over has the booming population. The next door neighbor has dogs and doesn't like cats. Their dogs don't seem to have any hunting instincts. Too bad for them!

I have a terrible problem with moles. We have about an acre and a half of land. The little #*$:&=#(@ live in the unoccupied area north of the house and tunnel all the way to my flower beds in the summer. We use well water so I am always reluctant to use pesticides or herbicides But the grub killer sounds promising as does the exhaust idea. We have an old Dodge pickemup truck that might put out some powerful exhaust. Decisions, decision.

any small gas engine would work - depending on the muffler is the difficulty of attaching a "hose" - metal flex electrical conduit works well if you don't have anything else that will handle the heat involved ....
