Miracle Drugs

modern medicine has two miracle drugs: penicillan and streptomycin. Does any one have information on these two drugs specifically?

They were genuinely "miracle" drugs for a long time, but the bacteria they were invented to combat have developed resistance to those drugs and they are no longer as effective as they once were in many instances. There are some bacteria around now that are resistant to all but 1 0r 2 antibiotics. Times change and so do bacteria.

Sorry, your original post did not make clear you were looking for "recipes" which, I think are mostly patented and it takes a chemical lab to make the pure, refined, stabilized, same potency every dose drug. I'll rely on my echinacea and goldenseal for antibiotic/antiviral treatments. They work to build your immune system, not work to kill the bacteria, so the bacteria cannot build up resistance to the herb like they can to the drug.
