Mexico Organizing May Day Marches In U.S.

Led by Mexico’s government, illegal immigrants across the nation are planning disruptive May Day marches demanding that the U.S. government halt immigration raids and that Congress pass laws to legalize them.

Hundreds of thousands of rowdy illegal aliens flooded the streets of major cities last year demanding amnesty and other rights, while threatening to shut down streets and launch economic boycotts. They burned U.S. flags and wielded racist, anti-American signs as they chanted for “derechos” (rights) in Spanish.

Although many local groups helped promote those marches, they were mainly organized by an umbrella group called National Mobilization to Support Immigrant Workers, whose motto reads: "We are humans. No one is illegal."

This year’s demonstrations will actually be organized by a new group that is sanctioned by the Mexican government. Founded last year in Mexico City, the First Parliament of Mexican Migrant Leaders Living in the U.S.A. was formed to give illegal alien Mexicans a voice in America’s political system. The body consists of 46 members representing 23 states.

Incredible as it may seem, a foreign government openly created a sort of congressional representative for the illegal population of the United States. Mexico has in the past held meetings and created groups to strengthen its political power in America and subvert the nation’s immigration laws.

While illegal immigrants and their allies assure the third annual marches will be powerful and demonstrate pride and commitment among Latinos, one well-known Hispanic newspaper columnist in Chicago offers a more realistic view. She points out that the marches have become unproductive and they cause yawn among editors and reporters and create a backlash from anti-Hispanic forces.

As someone who has just incurred a $500 auto repair bill because an
illegal attempted to steal my truck I hope they show their true colors
on May 1. Had to replace my steering column.

I was wondering about this

Two years ago the town in Oregon I lived in at the time (Hermiston) had a decent size rally (approx 350 marchers) considering the size of the town (15K) but last year the marchers only numbered about 40. The first march was especially bothersome as the place they held their Anti-American rally was directly across the street from my house!!!! Now I live in a smaller town in Idaho so be interesting to see what happens this year.

I simply don't understand why massive raids on this rallies don't happen. Well actually I do understand it, the beloved .gov of ours isn't really interested in making sure our borders are secure. I guess it just makes too much sense to go and collect the criminals! Silly me.

MY two cents

If they are illegals then they don't have the right to shit in this country.....

Let 'em line up on the streets for their march...

Have the nice walls of police to protect the marchers and their so called rights.....

Encircle them and bring in the deportation busses....

Anyone who cannot prove citizenship gets a free ticket home....

If they wanted to really push it they could say it was an unsanctioned military invasion of the country. And they would be nice by saying if we find you and you refuse to leave you die.

Round 'em up - Run 'em out.

The only place they have rights is in Mexico, their own country. Cinco De Mayo is a Mexican Holiday, let them celebrate there. Only citizens have rights to assemble an form organizations in the US. If I would want to burn my country's flag, my right to do as a citizen exercising my constrtutional rights. They have NO rights whatsoever except to a speedy ride to the border and expulsion.

One of the greatesst responsibilities of the US Gov is to protect this nation, to protect it's borders from invaders, what part of that are they NOT getting? What part of the citizen demands as elected representatives can they NOT hear and act upon? They are paid by our dollars, they liberally spend our dollars on crap and waste their time with worthless hearings on all kinds of stuff. They stand and blow rhetoric at one another hour after hour in the gov chambers, yet they cannot recognize that we in a sense are their bosses and the majority wants extradition of illegals and the borders closed.

Time to say AUDIOS.

The holiday commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862

According to a paper published by the UCLA Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture, about the origin of the observance of Cinco de Mayo in the United States, the modern American focus on that day first started in California in the 1860s in response to the resistance to French rule in Mexico. The paper notes that "The holiday, which has been celebrated in California continuously since 1863, is virtually IGNORED in Mexico.

the United States, Cinco de Mayo has taken on a significance beyond that in Mexico. "Commercial interests" (BIG BUSINESS) in the United States have "capitalized" on the celebration, advertising Mexican products and services, with an emphasis on beverages, foods, and music. The date is perhaps best recognized in the United States as a date to celebrate the culture and experiences of Americans of Mexican ancestry, much as St. Patrick's Day, Oktoberfest, and the Chinese New Year are used to celebrate those of Irish, German, and Chinese ancestry, respectively. As a result, the holiday is observed by many Americans regardless of ethnic origins, especially in cities and states where there is a large population of Mexican ancestry

In Texas, it,s time to bring out the MultiColored Chips and Salsa and Cold "CORONA" beer w/Lime and if you,r lucky to be celebrating on the beach, lots to bikini's to admire
