Fruit Mandarins!

Years back, I bought a lemon tree. It produced a soft ball size lemon. The lemon meringue pie was great. That next winter, the "tree died" from a hard freeze.
In the spring, the trunk started to grow back. I nursed it for many years. Last year it gave me blossoms, no fruit. The needles on it were sharp & we had to move carefully past it.
This year the blossoms became fruit! I guess about 5-6 dozen are growing. We can't wait till they ripen.

did it grow from above or below the graft

at this point
just wait and see what it taste like
it might be nice

if it does not taste good

you have a strong root stock
go and get some cuttings off of tree that has great fruit and graft them onto your root stock
