I decided a while back that I want to learn to make cheese. I've been reading up on the process and watching lots of "boy they make it look easy" videos for a few weeks, and today tried a quick mozzarella recipe.
Well... I have a lot of practicing to do, shall we say?
I was unsuccessful in getting a soft stretchy mozzarella, but I did manage to make a tough but tasty squeaky cheese At any rate, my kids are enjoying it!
As best I can tell, I either heated the curds incorrectly or stirred them too much.
I'll keep practicing!
