Grnhouse Made a propagator from an old 55 gallon fish tank

The cuttings traveled cross-country in my mom's luggage and seemed to survive the trip. Hope they will sprout roots and take hold. Used an acrylic fluorescent light lense cut to fit into the tank as a lid. The light is a shop light modified without the ballast to run LED bulbs. The bulbs are 6000k Hyperikon LED tubes.

Yes. Works for my seedlings too. Have a couple dozen in hydro jars (dis-guarded glass jars with a net cup and some pea gravel). Filled two extra ten gallon tanks. Gave one beat up old HEAVY tank (30 tall?) to a neighbor a few months ago, and now, I regret that - so much for downsizing...

Harvested lettuce from some jars today. Tasty.
