Howdy!
I'm looking to see what a 1966 M416 military trailer would be worth. I have one I want to sell and I don't want to undervalue it. It's in original condition, has some rust in the bed but does not appear to go all the way thru. Far as I know the lights work, or at least they did 4 years ago. Tires are in decent shape, and appear to be original also. I have the hitch piece that goes into the truck receiver also. The ones I see on google are all refurbished ones. No title for it.
I need to sell it to buy some additional hay for my farm.

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you!

I hate to tell you this, but a lot depends on the local market/demand for that sort of thing. Just like an old deuce-and-a-half. I've seen those from 2500 to 45000...

Put a post on Main with a pink to this thread. Too many people don't read the subforums.

Also, maybe PM Doc1, and maybe Thinwater, if they don't respond to your question. Good luck!

Much depends on area. You'll have two types of buyers that'll give you the best price - first is an MVPA member that's looking to get an additional trailer for his M151, second are overland/jeep types. Then it goes downhill from there. Having the pintle is a good thing, that'll help value. If you have pics I could probably give you a better idea. Much will also depend on date, composite lights, etc. What's the placard say on it? Who built it, when, etc.

Check eBay Motors - there's a sub group for MilSurp

There's also some forums for MilSurp you might find w/ a Search Engine - I stopped saying Google.

If you need to haul stuff from time to time and have a suitable tow unit I'd keep it.
