I've been folllowing Obama's website, www.change.gov very closely since the election. Sometime today, the entire 'agenda' section of the website has been removed. This was the section that detailed how the ban on assault weapons would be made permanent, along with other issues concerning firearms and urban crime - it was there, and poof, now it's gone. Imagine that.

Included in this section were details of the forced community service and other controversial ideas such as nation-wide nine dollar and something an hour minumum wage, complettely rebuilding New Orleans and other things.

I wonder why they removed it.

With that posted, it makes waffleing that much more difficult. However, since there are ways to pull up old web data, it only works for the cursory searches which most people will initially conduct, which is enough right now.

Either that or they're going to add a lot more meat to their stances.

Excellent. This is what we need to do. WATCH HIM AND CALL HIM ON WHAT HE SAYS. I've visited the site regularly myself. Very interesting place to say the least.

ETA: and you're right, that whole section is now missing. how convenient. google cache, anyone?
