Leftists Call For New "Secret Police" Force To Spy On Trump Supporters

WEDNESDAY, JAN 20, 2021 - 18:45
Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

Perhaps channeling the spirit of the Soviet NKVD, leftists are now literally calling for a new “secret police” unit to be created at the federal level to spy on Trump supporters.

In an article published by the Daily Beast, Jeff Stein argues that existing federal agencies like the FBI are ill-equipped to stop “white terror” because they missed signs of the the pre-planning of the Capitol building siege.

The solution is to create a new “secret police” (yes, he literally uses those words) in order to “infiltrate and neutralize armed domestic extremists,” which according to the media’s latest narrative potentially includes 70 million Trump voters.

Stein even compares the Capitol breach to 9/11, an attack that killed nearly 3,000 people, and argues that a similar response to that should be directly inwardly against American citizens directed by a new “domestic spy agency.”

“One response to the 9/11 tragedy may well get renewed attention after the Capitol assault—especially if armed white nationalists are successful in carrying out more attacks in the coming days and weeks: The call for a secret police,” he writes.
Other countries have domestic spy agencies to fight extremists at home. Does America need one, too? Can U.S. Spy Agencies Stop White Terror?
— The Daily Beast (@thedailybeast) January 18, 2021
The existence of a “secret police” force that subverts constitutional norms to repress the population is of course a hallmark of all dictatorial regimes, but that doesn’t appear to bother self-proclaimed “progressives.”
“Hundreds of Black Lives Matter/Antifa riots, some of which entailed firing mortars at, firebombing, or burning down police stations, did not qualify as domestic terrorism. But the Capitol Riot was terrorism, due to the usual double standard,” points out Dave Blount.
He also hits the nail on the head about the real reason why the creation of a new secret police unit would be necessary.
“Neither the FBI nor the NSA has the culture of brutal hostility toward their own country’s population needed to efficiently repress dissidents in the unfolding police state.”
As we highlighted yesterday, in addition to a new secret police, some are calling for the creation of a Stasi-like citizen spy network that would recruit Biden supporters to spy on Trump supporters and grass them up to the authorities.

Presumably, this is all part of the national “healing” and “unity” that Joe Biden has called for.

"Even Libertarians": John Brennan Issues 'List' Of Ideologies Biden Intel Community Should Go After

WEDNESDAY, JAN 20, 2021 - 21:05
Well this is alarming and ominous to say the least... Former CIA Director John Brennan told MSNBC in an interview on inauguration day that the intelligence community under newly sworn in President Biden is "moving in laser-like fashion" to try and uncover dangerous plots against the country.

Naturally, there's been much of this worrisome commentary about what political ideologies should be targeted and monitored coming out of NatSec hawks in the wake of the Capitol Hill mayhem of January 6. But this is the first time such a broad array of groups have been so bluntly lumped into a Pro-Trump "insurgency" by an influential media pundit and former spook. Brennan expressly said they are "violent" and remain a domestic threat.

He said in the MSNBC interview without the least concern for violation of Americans' rights that intelligence agencies should look into "religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians...".
.@JohnBrennan: Biden intel community “are moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about” the pro-Trump “insurgency” that harbors “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians” pic.twitter.com/SjVXWhPhR8
— Tom Elliott (@tomselliott) January 20, 2021
He said these belief systems have come together under the umbrella of a supposed pro-Trump movement capable of committing violence.
Ah yes, "even libertarians"...

"I had white knuckles because of the nature of the threats," he began by recalling his days as CIA Director. We've seen "the growth of this polarization in the United States and domestic violence and White supremacist groups," he continued.

Comparing this "threat" to a foreign insurgency which the US has lately battled overseas, he said it
"brings together an unholy alliance of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians."

He added: "And unfortunately I think there’s been this momentum that generated as a result of unfortunately the demagogic rhetoric of people that’s just departed government, but also those who continue in the halls of Congress and so I really do think that the law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence, and even the defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very very serious and insidious threat to our democracy and our republic."

Interestingly, Brennan spoke as if these groups are already being looked into and spotlighted by US intelligence under Biden. "Even Libertarians," apparently.
John Brennan, the former communist, who committed treason while he was Obama’s CIA director by knowingly arming Al Qaeda, considers libertarians dangerous. Cool.

Increasingly, it looks like Inauguration Day for intelligence insiders like Brennan represents "Deep State back on top" in America.

John Brennan Gives the Plan Away: Biden Officials Moving in “Laser Light Fashion” to Identify and “Root Out” Political Opposition from Population (VIDEO)

By Jim Hoft
Published January 20, 2021 at 10:09pm
john-brennan-2.jpg

Former CIA Director John Brennan, the man who weaponized the CIA to target Hillary Clinton’s political opposition, appeared on MSNBC Wednesday to outline Joe Biden administration plan to identify political enemies, label them domestic terrorists and then “root them out” of the population.

Brennan is talking about Trump supporters here but would not even utter Donald Trump’s name.
John Brennan: I know… the members of the Biden team who have been nominated or have been appointed are now moving in laser light fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements we’ve seen overseas. Where they germinate in different parts of the country and they gain strength, and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians. And unfortunately, I think there has been this momentum that has been generated unfortunately I think of the demagogue of rhetoric of people that’s just departed government but also those who continue in the halls of Congress. So I really do think that the law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence and even the defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very, very serious, and insidious threat to our democracy and our republic.
Even Libertarians will not be safe.

These are dangerous people.

Twitter, Facebook And YouTube Allow Incendiary Anti-MAGA Video To Remain On Platforms

WEDNESDAY, JAN 20, 2021 - 22:45
While Silicon Valley tech giants spent the last two weeks purging President Trump and tens of thousands of his followers over 'dangerous conspiracy theories' and 'inciting violence' during the so-called "Capitol insurrection" on January 6, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have yet to remove a video by far-left Russiagate conspiracy theorist Dan Winslow which is the definition of incitement.

"They are hidden among us, disguised behind regular jobs,"
Winslow warns. "They are your children’s teachers. They work at supermarkets, malls, doctor’s offices, and many are police officers and soldiers."

The video, which has over 4 million Twitter views in two days, calls for "an army of citizen detectives" to identify Trump supporters - who he calls Trump's 'army of domestic terrorists,' - who should be reported to authorities.
This is so dangerous it’s hard to sum up in a tweet. It puts a target on the head of every conservative, calls for war and propagandizes to form a vigilante group that would narc on neighbors. If Hitler or Stalin we’re alive today, they’d proudly use your video. Sick and evil.
— Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) January 19, 2021
The video, which one would think clearly violates Silicon Valley's arbitrary rules against incitement and hate speech, continues to be viewable on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Would big tech allow a conservative video claiming Biden voters are left-wing terrorists who need to be watched to remain on their platforms?

Winslow's video appears to be designed to stoke maximum division between Americans (which, as we were told for four years during 'Russiagate' and have known for decades, is straight out of the Kremlin's playbook).

As Caitlin Johnstone noted on Tuesday, and is worth repeating:
“On or before January 20th, Donald Trump will no longer be the Commander-in-Chief: he will lose control of the Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Special Forces and America’s nuclear arsenal,” Winslow’s voice begins ominously. “On January 20th Donald Trump will become Commander-in-Chief of a different army: this army.”
Viewers are then shown footage from Trump rallies while being told that they are looking at “radical extreme conservatives, also known as domestic terrorists”.
“They are hidden among us, disguised behind regular jobs,” Winslow warns.
They are your children’s teachers. They work at supermarkets, malls, doctor’s offices, and many are police officers and soldiers.
Winslow talks about white supremacists and the Capitol riot, warning that Trump will continue escalating violence and fomenting a civil war in America.
“We have to fight back,” Winslow declares.
“In this new war, the battlefield has changes. Computers can be more valuable than guns. And this is what we need now more than ever: an army of citizen detectives. I’m proposing we form a citizen army. Our weapons will be computers and cellphones. We, who are monitoring extremists on the internet and reporting our findings to authorities. Remember, before the Navy Seals killed Osama Bin Laden, he had to be found. He was found by a CIA analyst working on a computer thousands of miles away. It’s up to you.”
* * *
In addition to the usual suspects on the left using Winslow's video to incite a new witch hunt, the Biden Administration is now focusing on 'Domestic Terrorism' as a key priority. And as Johnstone also notes, and which is worth repeating, these people are batshit crazy.

Johnstone continues:

This is as insane and scary as I have ever seen these people get, and I was in the thick of peak Russiagate hysteria. An aggressively manufactured push to get an army of citizens spying on each other calls to mind the Stasi informants of East Germany, the patriotism-fueled digital “digging” of the QAnon psyop, and the NatSec LARPing of Louise Mensch Twitter, all rolled into one great big ball of crazy.
Veteran CIA officer and former deputy DNI Sue Gordon calls for a "9/11 Commission kind of activity" to apply "lessons that we learned in the fight against foreign terrorism" to battle domestic extremism How the intelligence community views the dangers of domestic extremism pic.twitter.com/MGmdNoMZ1f
— Max Blumenthal (@MaxBlumenthal) January 19, 2021
This comes out as we are being bombarded with mass media punditry from literal CIA veterans like Sue Gordon and Elissa Slotkin forcefully hammering home the message that domestic terror is the new frontier for combating violent extremism, meaning of course that new Patriot Act-like solutions will be needed. Winslow himself spent six years traveling and doing research for a novel about a former CIA operative, and if some government agency didn’t recruit him during that period they clearly should have.

This will get frightening if it keeps up. Just as a relatively low-profile lefty blogger I routinely get liberals online falsely claiming I’m a Russian agent and saying they’ll report me to the FBI, and that’s without an aggressive campaign urging them to join a powerful digital army. The fact that Winslow stays very vague about what he means by “Trump’s new army” and constantly conflates rank-and-file Trump supporters with white supremacist terrorists means people are effectively being pointed at all Trump supporters, especially when normal Trump rallies are what he points to in the video. If this takes off it can very quickly lead to a volunteer army of power-worshipping snitches against literally anyone who is critical of US foreign policy or the Democratic Party, whether they actually support Trump or not.

Does Winslow want actual civil war?

The New Domestic War on Terror is Coming
No speculation is needed. Those who wield power are demanding it. The only question is how much opposition they will encounter.

The last two weeks have ushered in a wave of new domestic police powers and rhetoric in the name of fighting “terrorism” that are carbon copies of many of the worst excesses of the first War on Terror that began nearly twenty years ago. This trend shows no sign of receding as we move farther from the January 6 Capitol riot. The opposite is true: it is intensifying.

We have witnessed an orgy of censorship from Silicon Valley monopolies with calls for far more aggressive speech policing, a visibly militarized Washington, D.C. featuring a non-ironically named “Green Zone,” vows from the incoming president and his key allies for a new anti-domestic terrorism bill, and frequent accusations of “sedition,” “treason,” and “terrorism” against members of Congress and citizens. This is all driven by a radical expansion of the meaning of “incitement to violence.” It is accompanied by viral-on-social-media pleas that one work with the FBI to turn in one’s fellow citizens (See Something, Say Something!) and demands for a new system of domestic surveillance.

Underlying all of this are immediate insinuations that anyone questioning any of this must, by virtue of these doubts, harbor sympathy for the Terrorists and their neo-Nazi, white supremacist ideology. Liberals have spent so many years now in a tight alliance with neocons and the CIA that they are making the 2002 version of John Ashcroft look like the President of the (old-school) ACLU.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security website, touting a trademarked phrase licensed to it in 2010 by the City of New York, urging citizens to report “suspicious activity” to the FBI and other security state agencies
The more honest proponents of this new domestic War on Terror are explicitly admitting that they want to model it on the first one. A New York Times reporter noted on Monday that a “former intelligence official on PBS NewsHour” said “that the US should think about a ‘9/11 Commission’ for domestic extremism and consider applying some of the lessons from the fight against Al Qaeda here at home.” More amazingly, Gen. Stanley McChrystal — for years head of Joint Special Operations Command in Iraq and the commander of the war in Afghanistan — explicitly compared that war to this new one, speaking to Yahoo News:
I did see a similar dynamic in the evolution of al-Qaida in Iraq, where a whole generation of angry Arab youth with very poor prospects followed a powerful leader who promised to take them back in time to a better place, and he led them to embrace an ideology that justified their violence. This is now happening in America….I think we’re much further along in this radicalization process, and facing a much deeper problem as a country, than most Americans realize.”
Anyone who, despite all this, still harbors lingering doubts that the Capitol riot is and will be the neoliberal 9/11, and that a new War on Terror is being implemented in its name, need only watch the two short video clips below, which will clear their doubts for good. It is like being catapulted by an unholy time machine back to Paul Wolfowitz’s 2002 messaging lab.

The first video, flagged by Tom Elliott, is from Monday morning’s Morning Joe program on MSNBC (the show that arguably did more to help Donald Trump become the GOP nominee than any other). It features Jeremy Bash — one of the seemingly countless employees of TV news networks who previously worked in Obama’s CIA and Pentagon — demanding that, in response to the Capitol riot, “we reset our entire intelligence approach,” including “look[ing] at greater surveillance of them,” adding: “the FBI is going to have to run confidential sources.” See if you detect any differences between what CIA operatives and neocons were saying in 2002 when demanding the Patriot Act and greater FBI and NSA surveillance and what this CIA-official-turned-NBC-News-analyst is saying here:

View: https://youtu.be/n8TraXoSBJk
1:09 min

The second video features the amazing declaration from former Facebook security official Alex Stamos, talking to the very concerned CNN host Brian Stelter, about the need for social media companies to use the same tactics against U.S. citizens that they used to remove ISIS from the internet — “in collaboration with law enforcement” — and that those tactics should be directly aimed at what he calls extremist “conservative influencers.”

“Press freedoms are being abused by these actors,” the former Facebook executive proclaimed. Stamos noted how generous he and his comrades have been up until now: “We have given a lot of leeway — both in the traditional media and in social media — to people with a very broad range of views.” But no more. Now is the time to “get us all back in the same consensual reality.”

In a moment of unintended candor, Stamos noted the real problem: “there are people on YouTube, for example, that have a larger audience than people on daytime CNN” — and it’s time for CNN and other mainstream outlets to seize the monopoly on information dissemination to which they are divinely entitled by taking away the platforms of those whom people actually want to watch and listen to:

View: https://youtu.be/3MT_lydFAmk
2:21 min

(If still not convinced, and if you can endure it, you can also watch MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski literally screaming that one needed remedy to the Capitol riot is that the Biden administration must “shutdown” Facebook. Shutdown Facebook).

Calls for a War on Terror sequel — a domestic version complete with surveillance and censorship — are not confined to ratings-deprived cable hosts and ghouls from the security state. The Wall Street Journal reports that “Mr. Biden has said he plans to make a priority of passing a law against domestic terrorism, and he has been urged to create a White House post overseeing the fight against ideologically inspired violent extremists and increasing funding to combat them.”
Meanwhile, Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) — not just one of the most dishonest members of Congress but also one of the most militaristic and authoritarian — has had a bill proposed since 2019 to simply amend the existing foreign anti-terrorism bill to allow the U.S. Government to invoke exactly the same powers at home against “domestic terrorists.”

Why would such new terrorism laws be needed in a country that already imprisons more of its citizens than any other country in the world as the result of a very aggressive set of criminal laws? What acts should be criminalized by new “domestic terrorism” laws that are not already deemed criminal? They never say, almost certainly because — just as was true of the first set of new War on Terror laws — their real aim is to criminalize that which should not be criminalized: speech, association, protests, opposition to the new ruling coalition.

US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) flanked by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) (R) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), speaks at a press conference on Capitol Hill (Photo by OLIVIER DOULIERY/AFP via Getty Images)

The answer to this question — what needs to be criminalized that is not already a crime? — scarcely seems to matter. Media and political elites have placed as many Americans as they can — and it is a lot — into full-blown fear and panic mode, and when that happens, people are willing to acquiesce to anything claimed necessary to stop that threat, as the first War on Terror, still going strong twenty years later, decisively proved.
An entire book could — and probably should — be written on why all of this is so concerning. For the moment, two points are vital to emphasize.

First, much of the alarmism and fear-mongering is being driven by a deliberate distortion of what it means for speech to “incite violence.” The bastardizing of this phrase was the basis for President Trump’s rushed impeachment last week. It is also what is driving calls for dozens of members of Congress to be expelled and even prosecuted on “sedition” charges for having objected to the Electoral College certification, and is also at the heart of the spate of censorship actions already undertaken and further repressive measures being urged.

This phrase — “inciting violence” — was also what drove many of the worst War on Terror abuses. I spent years reporting on how numerous young American Muslims were prosecuted under new, draconian anti-terrorism laws for uploading anti-U.S.-foreign-policy YouTube videos or giving rousing anti-American speeches deemed to “incite violence” and thus provide “material support” to terrorist groups — the exact theory which Rep. Schiff is seeking to import into the new domestic War on Terror.

It is vital to ask what it means for speech to constitute “incitement to violence” to the point that it can be banned or criminalized. The expression of any political viewpoint, especially one passionately expressed, has the potential to “incite” someone else to get so riled up that they engage in violence.

If you rail against the threats to free speech posed by Silicon Valley monopolies, someone hearing you may get so filled with rage that they decide to bomb an Amazon warehouse or a Facebook office. If you write a blistering screed accusing pro-life activists of endangering the lives of women by forcing them back into unsafe back-alley abortions, or if you argue that abortion is murder, you may very well inspire someone to engage in violence against a pro-life group or an abortion clinic. If you start a protest movement to object to the injustice of Wall Street bailouts — whether you call it “Occupy Wall Street” or the Tea Party — you may cause someone to go hunt down Goldman Sachs or Citibank executives who they believe are destroying the economic future of millions of people.

If you claim that George W. Bush stole the 2000 and/or 2004 elections — as many Democrats, including members of Congress, did — you may inspire civic unrest or violence against Bush and his supporters. The same is true if you claim the 2016 or 2020 elections were fraudulent or illegitimate. If you rage against the racist brutality of the police, people may go burn down buildings in protest — or murder randomly selected police officers whom they have become convinced are agents of a racist genocidal state.

The Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer and hard-core Democratic partisan, James Hodgkinson, who went to a softball field in June, 2017 to murder Republican Congress members — and almost succeeded in fatally shooting Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) — had spent months listening to radical Sanders supporters and participating in Facebook groups with names like “Terminate the Republican Party” and “Trump is a Traitor.”

Hodgkinson had heard over and over that Republicans were not merely misguided but were “traitors” and grave threats to the Republic. As CNN reported, “his favorite television shows were listed as ‘Real Time with Bill Maher;’ ‘The Rachel Maddow Show;’ ‘Democracy Now!’ and other left-leaning programs.”

All of the political rhetoric to which he was exposed — from the pro-Sanders Facebook groups, MSNBC and left-leaning shows — undoubtedly played a major role in triggering his violent assault and decision to murder pro-Trump Republican Congress members.

Part 2 of 2

Despite the potential of all of those views to motivate others to commit violence in their name — potential that has sometimes been realized — none of the people expressing those views, no matter how passionately, can be validly characterized as “inciting violence” either legally or ethically. That is because all of that speech is protected, legitimate speech. None of it advocates violence.

None of it urges others to commit violence in its name. The fact that it may “inspire” or “motivate” some mentally unwell person or a genuine fanatic to commit violence does not make the person espousing those views and engaging in that non-violent speech guilty of “inciting violence” in any meaningful sense.

To illustrate this point, I have often cited the crucial and brilliantly reasoned Supreme Court free speech ruling in Claiborne v. NAACP. In the 1960s and 1970s, the State of Mississippi tried to hold local NAACP leaders liable on the ground that their fiery speeches urging a boycott of white-owned stores “incited” their followers to burn down stores and violently attack patrons who did not honor the protest. The state’s argument was that the NAACP leaders knew that they were metaphorically pouring gasoline on a fire with their inflammatory rhetoric to rile up and angry crowds.

But the Supreme Court rejected that argument, explaining that free speech will die if people are held responsible not for their own violent acts but for those committed by others who heard them speak and were motivated to commit crimes in the name of that cause (emphasis added):
Civil liability may not be imposed merely because an individual belonged to a group, some members of which committed acts of violence. . . .
[A]ny such theory fails for the simple reason that there is no evidence — apart from the speeches themselves -- that [the NAACP leader sued by the State] authorized, ratified, or directly threatened acts of violence. . . . . To impose liability without a finding that the NAACP authorized — either actually or apparently — or ratified unlawful conduct would impermissibly burden the rights of political association that are protected by the First Amendment. . . .

While the State legitimately may impose damages for the consequences of violent conduct, it may not award compensation for the consequences of nonviolent, protected activity. Only those losses proximately caused by unlawful conduct may be recovered.
The First Amendment similarly restricts the ability of the State to impose liability on an individual solely because of his association with another.
The Claiborne court relied upon the iconic First Amendment ruling in Brandenburg v. Ohio, which overturned the criminal conviction of a KKK leader who had publicly advocated the possibility of violence against politicians. Even explicitly advocating the need or justifiability of violence for political ends is protected speech, ruled the court. They carved out a very narrow exception: “where such advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action” — meaning someone is explicitly urging an already assembled mob to specific violence with the expectation that they will do so more or less immediately (such as standing outside someone’s home and telling the gathered mob: it’s time to burn it down).

It goes without saying that First Amendment jurisprudence on “incitement” governs what a state can do when punishing or restricting speech, not what a Congress can do in impeaching a president or expelling its own members, and certainly not social media companies seeking to ban people from their platforms.

But that does not make these principles of how to understand “incitement to violence” irrelevant when applied to other contexts. Indeed, the central reasoning of these cases is vital to preserve everywhere: that if speech is classified as “incitement to violence” despite not explicitly advocating violence, it will sweep up any political speech which those wielding this term wish it to encompass. No political speech will be safe from this term when interpreted and applied so broadly and carelessly.

And that is directly relevant to the second point. Continuing to process Washington debates of this sort primarily through the prism of “Democrat v. Republican” or even “left v. right” is a sure ticket to the destruction of core rights. There are times when powers of repression and censorship are aimed more at the left and times when they are aimed more at the right, but it is neither inherently a left-wing nor a right-wing tactic. It is a ruling class tactic, and it will be deployed against anyone perceived to be a dissident to ruling class interests and orthodoxies no matter where on the ideological spectrum they reside.

The last several months of politician-and-journalist-demanded Silicon Valley censorship has targeted the right, but prior to that and simultaneously it has often targeted those perceived as on the left. The government has frequently declared right-wing domestic groups “terrorists,” while in the 1960s and 1970s it was left-wing groups devoted to anti-war activism which bore that designation. In 2011, British police designated the London version of Occupy Wall Street a “terrorist” group. In the 1980s, the African National Congress was so designated.

“Terrorism” is an amorphous term that was created, and will always be used, to outlaw formidable dissent no matter its source or ideology.

If you identify as a conservative and continue to believe that your prime enemies are ordinary leftists, or you identify as a leftist and believe your prime enemies are Republican citizens, you will fall perfectly into the trap set for you. Namely, you will ignore your real enemies, the ones who actually wield power at your expense: ruling class elites, who really do not care about “right v. left” and most definitely do not care about “Republican v. Democrat” — as evidenced by the fact that they fund both parties — but instead care only about one thing: stability, or preservation of the prevailing neoliberal order.

Unlike so many ordinary citizens addicted to trivial partisan warfare, these ruling class elites know who their real enemies are: anyone who steps outside the limits and rules of the game they have crafted and who seeks to disrupt the system that preserves their prerogatives and status. The one who put this best was probably Barack Obama when he was president, when he observed — correctly — that the perceived warfare between establishment Democratic and Republican elites was mostly theater, and on the question of what they actually believe, they’re both “fighting inside the 40 yard line” together:

View: https://youtu.be/EbKBjLaBHOg
3:29 min

A standard Goldman Sachs banker or Silicon Valley executive has far more in common, and is far more comfortable, with Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan than they do with the ordinary American citizen. Except when it means a mildly disruptive presence — like Trump — they barely care whether Democrats or Republicans rule various organs of government, or whether people who call themselves “liberals” or “conservatives” ascend to power. Some left-wing members of Congress, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) have said they oppose a new domestic terrorism law, but Democrats will have no trouble forming a majority by partnering with their neocon GOP allies like Liz Cheney to get it done, as they did earlier this year to stop the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan and Germany.

Neoliberalism and imperialism do not care about the pseudo-fights between the two parties or the cable TV bickering of the day. They do not like the far left or the far right. They do not like extremism of any kind. They do not support Communism and they do not support neo-Nazism or some fascist revolution. They care only about one thing: disempowering and crushing anyone who dissents from and threatens their hegemony. They care about stopping dissidents. All the weapons they build and institutions they assemble — the FBI, the DOJ, the CIA, the NSA, oligarchical power — exist for that sole and exclusive purpose, to fortify their power by rewarding those who accede to their pieties and crushing those who do not.

No matter your views on the threat posed by international Islamic radicalism, huge excesses were committed in the name of stopping it — or, more accurately, the fears it generated were exploited to empower and entrench existing financial and political elites. The Authorization to Use Military Force — responsible for twenty-years-and-counting of war — was approved by the House three days after the 9/11 attack with just one dissenting vote. The Patriot Act — which radically expanded government surveillance powers — was enacted a mere six weeks after that attack, based on the promise that it would be temporary and “sunset” in four years. Like the wars spawned by 9/11, it is still in full force, virtually never debated any longer and predictably expanded far beyond how it was originally depicted.

The first War on Terror ended up being wielded primarily on foreign soil but it has increasingly been imported onto domestic soil against Americans. This New War on Terror — one that is domestic in name from the start and carries the explicit purpose of fighting “extremists” and “domestic terrorists” among American citizens on U.S. soil — presents the whole slew of historically familiar dangers when governments, exploiting media-generated fear and dangers, arm themselves with the power to control information, debate, opinion, activism and protests.

That a new War on Terror is coming is not a question of speculation and it is not in doubt. Those who now wield power are saying it explicitly. The only thing that is in doubt is how much opposition they will encounter from those who value basic civic rights more than the fears of one another being deliberately cultivated within us.

Tucker Carlson: Democratic Party is planning a war on half of America

January 20, 2021 | Vivek Saxena | Print Article

Fox News host Tucker Carlson warned that the Democrat Party is hellbent on exploiting its newfound power to seek revenge against the 74 million Americans who voted for outgoing President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

How? By treating them like terrorists.

“The leaders of the Democrat Party have now decided that 74 million Trump voters weren’t just wrong or misguided. They didn’t simply back the wrong guy or have incorrect opinions or fail to see the obvious truths,” he explained.

“No, the threat they pose is graver and more serious than that, more dangerous. These 74 million Trump voters are in fact, terrorists. They’re a looming physical threat to the rest of us, and we must deal with them in the way that you deal with threats like that.”

Listen to the first half of Carlson’s lengthy remarks below:

Video on website 7:39 min

Remember all the violations of civil liberties and due process that accompanied the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory? Expect the same, Carlson said, except this time aimed at 74 million Americans.

“For years they told us this country had been infiltrated by Russian spies, but now we know it’s worse than that. The real threat, the actual enemy is within. In the end, it always is. Seventy-four million deviationists lurk in our midst,” he said sarcastically.

“They look like normal people, but ladies and gentlemen, do not be deceived. They are Trotskyites, they’re wreckers, kulaks. We must root them out. it’ll take a war to do that. An actual war. A war on our own people.”

A new “war on terror,” as Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald has described it, modeled on the first one from decades earlier — but aimed inward.
No speculation is needed. Those who wield power are demanding it. The only question is how much opposition they will encounter.
The more honest proponents of this new domestic War on Terror are explicitly admitting that they want to model it on the first one. pic.twitter.com/aDb7nEUmKI
— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) January 19, 2021
It’ll be aimed inward specifically at Trump supporters, whom members of the left have in recent days been eager to smear and besmirch as terrorists, white supremacists, etc.

“We have witnessed an orgy of censorship from Silicon Valley monopolies with calls for far more aggressive speech policing, a visibly militarized Washington, D.C. featuring a non-ironically-named ‘Green Zone,’ vows from the incoming president and his key allies for a new anti-domestic terrorism bill, and frequent accusations of ‘sedition,’ ‘treason,’ and ‘terrorism’ against members of Congress and citizens,” Greenwald noted in a SubStack blog post on Tuesday.

Indeed, and the dangerous amped-up rhetoric is coming from all sectors of the left.

Take Obama era Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the man infamous “for running the longest losing war in American history — the one in Afghanistan,” according to Carlson.

He suggested this week that Trump supporters are no different than Al Qaeda terrorists.

“I did see a similar dynamic in the evolution of Al Qaeda in Iraq, where a whole generation of angry Arab youth with very poor prospects followed a powerful leader who promised to take them back in time to a better place, and he led them to embrace an ideology that justified their violence. This is now happening in America,” he said.

In other words, the movement to “Make America Great Again” is a terrorist movement.
Apparently General Stanley McChrystal thinks Trump supporters are basically terrorists.

As someone who spent the better half of my childhood hiding from terrorists, I can assure you Trump supporters are NOT terrorists.
SHAME on General McChrystal for spreading such nonsense!
— Brigitte Gabriel (@ACTBrigitte) January 20, 2021
Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe posited a similar suggestion.

“When we looked at those Americans who traveled to Syria for the purpose of joining the Islamic State; when you put all those faces and names down in one place, you had doctors, lawyers … Some people are very vulnerable to and drawn into that core lie of any extremist movement. And that is exactly what we’re seeing now with this particular group of Trump supporters,” he said
Meanwhile, Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for the “deprogramming” of Trump supporters, CNN’s Don Lemon equated all Trump supporters with Nazis and Klan members, and multiple members of the mainstream establishment press began calling for the outright censorship and silencing of all conservative thought.

— Bo Snerdley (@BoSnerdley) January 9, 2021
“They’re planning a 9/11 commission, blanket censorship, mass arrests, deprogramming. These are not subtle indicators. These are fire alarms and everyone can see them. In the last week, CNN and The Washington Post have called for Fox News to be shut down by force because they don’t like our views,” Carlson continued.

And it isn’t just one or two random loons saying this.

The story is that many members of Congress and members of our media say this on television every single day, attacking huge groups of Americans on the basis of their skin color. Nobody pushes back as if there are no consequences to talking that way. But there are,” he noted.

What they don’t seem to understand, he continued, is how dangerous their rhetoric happens to be.

“How long can people keep talking like that and acting like this before something breaks? Before one of those 74 million becomes so overwrought and paranoid from watching demagogues like Jamaal Bowman attack him on MSNBC that he does something truly awful that can’t be taken back?” he said.

“That’s where this is going until and unless someone responsible within the Democratic Party appears and puts a stop to it. It’s time for the victors to accept their victory, forgive the team they beat, and move on. You won. Be happy now. Improve the country you inherited.”

Listen to the rest of his monologue below:

Video on website 7:34 min

But despite the suggestion otherwise from Carlson, the greater danger isn’t the very slim chance a Trump supporter will break down from constantly being attacked. The greater danger is the continued breakdown of American’s civil liberties, as noted by Greenwald:

“This New War on Terror — one that is domestic in name from the start and carries the explicit purpose of fighting ‘extremists’ and ‘domestic terrorists’ among American citizens on U.S. soil — presents the whole slew of historically familiar dangers when governments, exploiting media-generated fear and dangers, arm themselves with the power to control information, debate, opinion, activism, and protests.”

VIDEO: Far Left Author Demands ‘Army of Citizen Detectives’ to Spy on Trump Supporters

Best selling author issues a Twitter call to arms to ‘fight #TrumpsNewArmy of White supremacy’
Frank Salvato
by FRANK SALVATO
January 20, 2021

Don Winslow, Hitler Youth

That the post is still available on Twitter is shocking. A best-selling author, left-wing activist, and ardent critic of Donald Trump’s presidency has called on his followers on Twitter to “form a citizen army” to stalk Trump supporters.

Radical-Leftist Don Winslow, posted a video on social media calling on people to become what he calls “cyber detectives” in an effort to report Trump supporters to authorities. Winslow, in a call to arms reminiscent of the Hitler Youth, compared the mission of his “army of citizens” to the efforts that led to the capture of Osama bin Laden.

“On January 20, Donald Trump will become the Commander-in-Chief of a different army,” Winslow’s video begins. The threat he goes on to describe emanates from “radical conservatives who live among us.”

“The greatest threat facing America today comes from within: radical extreme conservatives, also known as domestic terrorists. They’re hidden among us, disguised behind regular jobs. They are your children’s teachers. They work at supermarkets, malls, doctor’s offices, and many are police officers and soldiers.”

In the video, Winslow claims that former-President Trump will ignite a civil war now that he is out of office. He insists that ordinary citizens must “fight back.”

“In the years ahead, Trump will lead his army of domestic terrorists. He will encourage and incite violence. He will start a civil war,” the clip states.

“We have to fight back. In this new war, the battlefield has changes. Computers can be more valuable than guns. And this is what we need now more than ever: an army of citizen detectives,” the clip continues.

Winslow’s narrator then issues a call to arms similar to those made by Hitler in the run up to the establishment of the SS, Stalin during the Russian Revolution, and Mao in the Communist Chinese Revolution. the clip’s bold call.

“I’m proposing we form a citizen army,” he says. “Our weapons will be computers and cell phones. We who are monitoring extremists on the internet and reporting their findings to authorities.”

If this sounds eerily like the activities of the Hitler Youth, it’s because it mirrors their missions statement to a disturbing level.

The main objective of the Hitler Youth, who were indoctrinated in Nazi ideology, was to make sure the future of Nazi Germany was secure. They spied on their neighbors and reported perceived “threats” to authorities. They disrupted religious and ideological meetings and efforts of those who did not march lockstep to their ideology.

In fact, if a young man or woman didn’t belong to the Hitler Youth they most often were unable to find work and their version of high schools refused to issue the non-members diplomas, thus keeping them from higher education.
Winslow’s call to arms seeks to establish the same apparatus but using neo-Marxist Progressive tenets and dogma.

Outrageously, Winslow compares his “army of citizens” tasked with hunting down Trump supporters like Jews escaped from the Nazi ghettos, to the monitoring and discovery of Osama bin Laden.

“Remember, before the Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden he had to be found,” Winslow’s video clip continues. “He was found by a CIA analyst working on a computer thousands of miles away.”

The hashtag Winslow has established – “#TrumpsNewArmy” – has seen tens of thousands of tweets since.

Democrats Launch Their Assault on Red State America

Democrats Launch Their Assault on Red State America

Civil War Heats Up

Paul Craig Roberts

The opening salvo against red state America is the article of impeachment against President Trump introduced on January 11 by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrat Representatives David Cicilline, Ted Lieu, and Jamie Raskin. So much for Biden’s promise to “unify the country.”

What is the intent of this article of impeachment? It cannot possibly be to remove Trump from office. Trump will have left office before the Senate could vote on impeachment. There is no such thing as impeaching a person who is not in office. Clearly impeachment has nothing to do with getting Trump out of office.

How does it unify the country to follow up an election believed by half of the US voting population to have been stolen with impeaching the president who is regarded as the victim of a stolen election? Adding insult to injury will only further enrage 75 million or more Trump voters, and many honest Democrats, who regard the election as stolen. If the Establishment and its Democrat, Republican, and media allies truly believe the election not to have been stolen, why wasn’t the evidence permitted to be examined so that the controversy could be settled instead of ignored? Ignoring the evidence deepens the suspicion as does labeling those who challenged the election “enemies of democracy.” Democrats are now trying to censure Republican members of the House and Senate who supported having the evidence presented to Congress. Why censure someone who wants evidence to be examined?

What many Americans and people abroad do not comprehend is that in the 2020 election Trump officially got 74,222,958 votes. This is the official number, which is understated by the 10 million vote suppression used against him. In “losing,” Trump’s 74,222,958 official votes are more votes than any elected president has ever received with the exception of Biden whose vote count was raised by 10 million fraudulent ballots. How is the country unified by demonizing half of it? Are the Democrats’ threats and reprisals against Trump and his supporters unifying?

I watched the presentations by independent experts to three state legislatures of the detailed evidence showing evidence that the election was stolen in the swing states. Some of the experts explaining the election’s theft were people of color as were many of those who signed affidavits under penalty of perjury of the electoral fraud that they witnessed. This information has never been presened by the media to the public, nor has any media, election officials, Department of Justice, or Congress examined the evidence. It is overwhelming evidence ignored.

Whether of not you believe that Biden—the most uninspiring presidential candidate in American history—got 81 million votes (the largest in American history), why do Pelosi and the Democrats want to make themselves even more hated and distrusted by half of the country by impeaching the president whose reelection they stole?

This is rubbing salt in the wound. Half of the country already regards Biden as an illegitimate president and regards the Democrats as power-mad totalitarians hostile to democracy. What does Pelosi achieve by furthering this image of Democrats? She is damning her party and herself. Why?

The answer is to generate fear in Republicans and Trump supporters.

The Democrats are using open unabashed retribution to scare Republicans and Trump supporters into compliance. Everywhere you look Republican members of Congress both House and Senate, Trump’s present and former cabinet members, and present and former members of the White House staff are denouncing Trump and putting distance between Trump and themselves. The latest is Fiona Hill, formerly of Trump’s National Security Council. She denounces Trump for having “put us on the brink of civil war.” Note that for Republican Fiona Hill, it is not a stolen election that puts “us on the brink of civil war,” but the protest against the election theft. This is the position of the Republican Party. In other words, the Republicans have surrendered. They are useless to the people.

As a large number of videos made available online by people who attended the rally show, the Capitol police allowed protestors into the Capitol. The Trump supporters were not smart enough not to take the bait. Once inside, the Democrats had their “insurrection” and “storming of the Capitol.”

It achieved its purpose. It stopped presentation of the evidence showing Congress a stolen election. Scared by the presstitutes one voice proclamation of an attempted coup, the Republicans wilted and ran for their political lives knowing that they would be blamed for “aiding and abetting Trump’s insurrection.”

The Democrats intend to keep them running, and that is what the impeachment is about.

Trump supporters are in for it as well. The FBI, which has been hand-in-hand with Democrats throughout the Russiagate and impeachment hoaxes, is now hunting down those who attended the Trump rally. Those for whom the FBI cannot invent grounds for arrest have their names turned over to the presstitutes who agitate for their firing from their jobs. Already policemen, corporate employees and executives, including a chief financial officer, have been fired for attending the Trump rally, and recording artists dropped because they attended the rally. Dumbshit indoctrinated school children have impoverished their own families by ratting out their parents for attending the rally and causing them to be fired.

Children squealing on their parents to the media is the worst part of the Democrats’ assault on America, because it shows that the liberal propaganda that passes for education in the schools has destroyed solidarity and loyalty in the family. Without the family, there is no society. Essentially, without family there is no country.

In so many ways Americans are now people without a country.

As the blatently public theft of a presidential election shows, democracy is a dead value among elites and institutions in the United States. The word will continue to be used as cover for oligarchic rule in the interest of the few. All who find the courage to challenge rule by the few will be demonized as “enemies of democracy.” We are already seeing it. President Trump and his “deplorables” are already declared “enemies of democracy.”

Whether or not Americans believe Trump and his supporters are enemies of democracy, many will be caused by fear to go along with it. Otherwise, they will be the next to be outed, fired, and prosecuted.

I am not optimistic. One reason for my lack of optimism is the age of disinformation in which we live. Disinformation is used by the Establishment to conform the public to its agendas. Disinformation is used to reconstruct white society. Disinformation is even used by Trump supporters in efforts to keep alive hope that the stolen election will be overturned or that Trump will win reelection in four years.

Another reason I am not optimistic is that I read comment sections of websites that host courageous and insightful commentators in hope of encountering intelligence and a rising awareness that could result in effective resistance. But what do I find? Inability to comprehend what they have read. Narcissists hiding behind fake names. Nit-picking in place of weighing a well-stated presentation. And the ever-present trolls demeaning the authors with ad hominum accusations that are spread into social media.

I am also not optimistic when I see that Trump, who has experienced the evil power of the Establishment, has not come to the realization that the last blow he can strike against the Establishment is the pardon of Assange and Snowden, two who are persecuted for telling the truth. Perhaps the reason is that many of Trump’s patriotic supporters have fallen for the Establishment’s line that Assange and Snowden are Russian agents who acted against America.

In the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, and all of Western Europe, telling the truth is being criminalized. The result will be the destruction of the truth-teller. This is true as well within the universities. Identity politics and Establishment agendas rule. If you cross them, you are out.

Objective truth has been redefined as a “white construct” that serves “systemic racism” and misogynists. White people, especially heterosexual white males, have been assigned the role that Karl Marx gave capitalists. They are hateful, exploitative creatures that must be destroyed by demonization and indoctrination. The process has been going on for some time in the schools and in work place “sensitivity training” sessions.

This is the ideology of the Democrat Party. Imposed ideologies wear down facts.

As the Native American tells the elderly woman in the Clint Eastwood film, The Outlaw Josey Wales, “Hell is coming to breakfast.” White people can expect hell. To see this, all you have to do is to look at Biden’s Department of Justice appointments.

Americans are only now beginning to realize that the expensive educations they have paid for their children have resulted in their children being stolen from them. A friend told me recently that his son and son’s girlfriend had left their brutally lockdowned Democrat state to come to him in a Republican state where life still went on not too far from normal. Having heard their conversations with him and among themselves, he has concluded that they regret that they were born white.

To his dismay, he understands that their regret at having white skin is not because of employment and promotion quotas that limit their success as white people, or the demeaning racial training sessions they have to endue as “systemic white racists.” Their regret is due to their successful indoctrination that, as white racists, they are responsible for the lack of success of black Americans. Perplexed, he asked me, “how can we resist the tyranny that is being imposed on us when the younger generation believes we are quilty and cannot be trusted with our freedoms.

Yes, good question. How?

Note that the outpouring of support for Trump in the Washington Rally, which Democrats easily turned into a liability for Trump, consists largely of older adults. Where were the young people? They stayed home and ratted out their parents.

America’s young were not born into a free society. They have never experienced a free society. They are not socialized into a free society. They have no idea what one is beyond access to the Internet.

It was two decades ago that the Bush regime orchestrated the PATRIOT Act. It was two decades ago that the Republican President of the United States threw habeas corpus out the window and claimed executive authority to detain American citizens indefinitely without presenting evidence before a court. No bar association, no university law faculty, no court, no Congress, and certainly no presstitute media demanded Bush’s impeachment for unilaterally exercising unconstitutional executive authority.

During the subsequent Obama regime, America’s First Black President, who got less votes than Trump did in 2020, executed American citizens without due process of law. No one demanded Obama’s impeachment for his unconstitutional and illegal murder of American citizens.

If cancelling the Bill of Rights isn’t insurrection, what is?

In contrast, President Trump who challenged the media monopoly for its censorship, who challenged the military/security complex for its orchestration of Russia as an enemy, who challenged various “trade agreements” for sending Americans’ middle class jobs abroad—in other words, a rare president who represented the American people—this President was destroyed by the Establishment and its media and intellectual whores.

The corrupt and evil Establishment, acting through the Democrat Party with the backing of the monopoly over all communications and the monetary and power interests of the military/security complex and Wall Street, and strengthened by the Identity Politics hatreds, which extend into the universities, public schools, bar associations, corporations, and judiciary, and the indoctrination seminars that white males are forced to undergo, has achieved more power than Stalin and Hitler could imagine.

Today the United States is not only a threat to its citizens but also a threat to the world. The American Establishment’s belief in its hegemony makes the United States the greatest threat that the world has ever experienced.

The forces in control of the United States deny the existence of objective truth. As the Establishment defines truth, truth is what serves the agendas of the ruling elite.

There is no other truth.

Among other terrors, this means that an accused person can mount no defense. As the trial of the surviving brother of the alleged Boston Marathon Bombing demonstrated, the proof of his innocence according to the FBI’s own evidence was not allowed to be introduced into the trial, only the fabricated “evidence” of his guilt. When this happened, it was clear that the United States government regarded the rule of law as dispensable whenever it interferred with its agenda.

As journalist Ekaterina Blinova instantly recognized, the effect of the stolen election is to create one-party rule in the United States. Of course, the Democrats won’t rule. Rule will be by the interest groups for whom the Democrats will front. As the Republcans abandoned the American people and joined in the denunciation of the “insurrectionist Trump,” there are few voters left who will vote Republican. By its cowardice, the Republican Party has destroyed itself.

What can be done. I am open to answers. If you think about it, you wonder if Americans have the intelligence and awareness to survive. Consider Parler, a social media alternative that does not censor. Why did Parler think it could be independent when it was dependent on Apple, Amazon, and Google? It must be a new high water mark of American insouciance that Parler executives thought the ruling Establishment would allow them free speech.

America is in collapse on all fronts—morally, economically, socially, politically, and militarily. Every American institution is corrupted. America’s collapse will be a large collapse, and it will affect the entire world.

America’s Demise Is Near At Hand

America’s Demise Is Near At Hand

America R.I.P.

Paul Craig Roberts

For years I have been cataloging America’s decline into collapse, not merely economic collapse from economic concentration and the offshoring of jobs and investment, but also the collapse of the belief system that created some unity among a diverse population. Today not only is the economy done for, but so is the belief system that sustained social and political stability.

America no longer exists. A geographical entity exists of diverse peoples and interests, but not a country, much less a nation. The United States itself has degenerated into an empire. It is no longer simply a country with an empire. The 50 states are themselves the Establishment’s empire, and it can only be held together by force.

Earlier in my life free speech was used by liberals to legalize pornography, homosexual marriage, and abortion, all of which were opposed by the majority of the population. This did not stop liberals from imposing their agendas on the people.

Today free speech is impermissible, because it can be used to protest what half of the population sincerely believes was a stolen presidential election. Even attorneys and legal firms that brought legitimate cases of electoral fraud for clients are being punished for doing the ordinary work of attorneys. The same is happening to university professors and to average Americans who exercised their Constitutionally protected right of free speech and association and attended the Trump rally. See for example: Americans No Longer Live In A Free Society - PaulCraigRoberts.org

In America today, free speech can only be exercised in narrow and controlled channels. It can be used to demonize President Trump and his supporters as “enemies of democracy.” It can be used to demonize white people as “systemic racists” and “white supremacists,” and to demonize heterosexual white males as “misogynists.” Its one other use is to demonize countries—Russia, China, and Iran—that stand in the way of Washington’s hegemony. There are no other permissible uses of free speech today in the United States, an inappropriate name of the country as the country has been throughly disunited by Identity Politics and a presidential election widely perceived by voters to have been stolen.

I have provided for my readers a massive, but only partial, list of evidence of a stolen election. See: Don’t Fall For The Establishment’s Tall Tales. There Was No “Violent Assault on the Capitol” and There is Abundant Evidence of Electoral Fraud - PaulCraigRoberts.org

But a simple question suffices: If the election was not stolen, why is it impermissible to raise the question? Explanations that are off limits to investigation and public discussion are unlikely to be true. The reason they are off limits is because they cannot withstand examination. You don’t have to go back far in time to get a long list: Assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK, Waco, Oklahoma City Bombing, 9/11, Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction, Iranian nukes, Assayd’s use of chemical weapons, Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russiagate, 2020 electoral fraud, January 6 Trump Insurrection. And, yes, I left out some, but the point stands without them. A country in which explanations are controlled is a country in which people live in lies.

In America and Western civilization generally, the concept of objective truth has essentially been destroyed, especially in educational and communication institutions. Throughout the Western World the basis of truth has been shifted from evidence to emotion. Emotion has become the important evidence. Objective truth is dismissed as a construct that serves white males. On Truth - PaulCraigRoberts.org

In America today everything is aligned against the white heterosexual population. The Democrat left, universities, and media are aligned with race and gender victims of alleged white racism and transphobia. Kristen Clarke has been appointed to the Justice (sic) Department to ensure that employment and promotion policies are aligned with race and gender victims. 'Black supremacist'? Anti-racism media silent after Tucker Carlson exposes bigoted views of Biden's DOJ civil rights pick

Immigration policy is aligned against white Americans. Powerless as a majority, white Americans have no future as a minority. Biden To 'Immediately' Send Congress Bill That Would Offer Citizenship To 11 Million Illegals | ZeroHedge Also: Over 7,000-strong migrant caravan inches closer to US border as Biden vows to end Trump's asylum policies

Even if white Americans could escape their insouciance and realize that their country is being taken away from them, they are powerless to do anything about it. With the new domestic terrorism bill on the way, even a protest against dispossession is criminalized as sedition.

There are many interesting aspects of the situation that we could explore. But let’s take only one. The Biden regime seems to be filling up with neoconservative zionists who are agents of Washington and Israel’s hegemony. The pursuit of this hegemony involves conflict with Russia, China, and Iran.

Washington will be entering these conflicts with a collapsed economy and a sharpely divided population. Will the real backbone of the American armed forces—Trump deplorables—fight for an Establishment that hates its guts? Will an economy drowning in debt and destroyed by corporate offshoring of investment and American middle class jobs and now by lockdowns that are destroying the remaining pieces of the middle class—small businesses—be able to sustain a conflict with nations more unified and free of external debt and unmanageable internal debt? If so, it will be the first time in history.

How long will Trump deplorables remain docile when they realize that they are being exterminated by being cut off from equal rights, constitutional protection, employment and avenues of success?

As for the Establishment itself, when will its arrogance and confidence be shaken by the realization that it cannot control the anti-white, anti-American ideologues it has created and is itself facing the situation faced by Kerensky, the Brownshirts, and the Chinese Communist Party when Mao unleashed the cultural revolution? Having empowered hatred and having let it out of the bottle, the Establishment itself will be destroyed by it.

Who will the Establishment appeal to when the revolution turns on them? What answer will the Establishment have when they are asked the question Bolsheviks put to Kerensky: “Who chose you?”

The Establishment Has Prepared Another Assault on Trump America

The Establishment Has Prepared Another Assault on Trump America

Paul Craig Roberts

Today Stephen Lendman describes the militarization and fortification of Washington in advance of Wednesday’s inauguration—https://stephenlendman.org/2021/01/fortress-washington-occupied-and-militarized/ . (Stephen Lendman is not a Trumper. He is a Jewish intellectual and member of the old left which stood up for the working class. The old left are dying off, and those who remain are not welcome on the websites of the new fake left that despises the working class as “Trump deplorables” and serves the Establishment for pay. )

What is going on here? At the least, the purpose of militarizing the capital is to further impress on people in the US and abroad that Trump Americans are “enemies of democracy” against whom the new presidency must be protected. Having successfully misrepresented the Trump rally as an insurrection, it is easy for the Establishment to suggest that “the enemies of democracy” will strike again. The message is that as long as Trump Americans have First Amendment rights to assemble and protest, American democracy will be unsafe. This sets the stage for curtailing protests against the Biden regime’s policies and shutting down alternative explanations to the controlled explanations of the Establishment.

More might be afoot than this. Ask yourself, would such a disruptive and expensive shutdown of the country’s capital be undertaken only for nothing to happen and the Establishment’s over-reaction to its own rhetoric raise questions about over-reaction to the Trump rally? The “enemies of democracy” once summoned can’t be permitted to disappear. I wonder what the bookies’ odds are on a false flag attack on the inauguration.

A false flag attack might be obvious, but the Establishment’s media whores will sell it by endless repetition as they have sold all other Establishment lies. As the world media, following the American presstitutes, spent the entire Trump administration building a false picture of President Trump, the skids are greased for the set-up of Trump Americans as dangerous people against whom measures must be taken. Possibly the Establishment has so over-fortified the District of Columbia and over-filled it with troops, that the prospect of insurrection is too bleak to carry conviction. We will find out in a few days.

If January 20 does bring a false flag attack, expect Antifa and BLM to make sure that America’s black cities again rise in riot and looting and that in Democrat controlled jurisdictions the police will be ordered, as before, to stand down. All of the looting and destruction will then be blamed on Trump Americans set-up by the false flag event as attempting to block Biden’s inauguration.

At this point Trump Americans will be as vulnerable as Jews in Nazi Germany and Kulaks under Stalin. Indeed, attorneys, judges, and politicians who defend wrongly accused Trumpers will be lumped in with the Jews and Kulaks. People say there can’t be a civil war, but if this plays out the only way there won’t be a civil war is if the threatened Trumpers, like the Jews in Nazi Germany, do not resist.

To complete this mental exercise, now dismiss this column as extremist fantasy. Still we are left with a split of the population into two groups of approximately equal numbers, but one group sitting on the moral high horse controlling all the power positions and money and the other demonized and largely without communication. Those Americans who oppose the Establishment’s opening of the borders and flooding America with aliens, thus setting in stone one-party rule that is easier for the Establishment to control, will not only be dismissed as racists and white supremacists but also prosecuted as racists, white supremacists and enemies of democracy. Generally speaking, those with power use it.

What the American Establishment has not yet realized is that once this process begins, it doesn’t end with Trumpers but proceeds with the elimination of the white establishment itself. Everyone who wants to see their own future and that of Western Civilization must read The Camp of the Saints. The process is playing out in front of our eyes.

Fortress Washington Occupied and Militarized

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org)

What’s going on in the nation’s capital is unprecedented.

Around 25,000 troops, unknown numbers of secret service agents, other federal security forces, and local police turned the city into a blockaded armed camp ahead of illegitimate transition of power on January 20.

The nation’s capital resembles occupied Baghdad’s Green Zone that’s half-way around the world from Washington DC.

Seven-foot-high non-scalable barricades topped with razor wire surround the Capitol and various federal buildings.

Thousands of heavily armed National Guard troops and other security forces — with orders to use lethal force against alleged threats — guard the city’s perimeter and virtually everything important inside.

Bridges into the city and National Mall will be closed ahead of Wednesday’s transition of power.

At checkpoints, IDs of occupants in cars, no other modes of transport, or on foot entering or leaving the city are checked.

The Military Times reported that “National Guard troops from (virtually all US (states) continue to pour into DC for…security.”

Army General Daniel Hokanson, head of the National Guard Bureau, is commanding what’s going on.

Deployment of troops was authorized for up to 30 days for transition of power preparations, what’s planned for January 20 and its aftermath.

The Washington Post, located in the city on K Street NW, said it’s “closed off like never before,” adding:

“(T)he Secret Service has launched a massive security operation.”

“Vehicle traffic in much of the city will be prohibited or limited to residents and businesses only.”

“Metro is shuttering stations in the city’s core and near the Mall.”

“Street closures will continue through Thursday, and are subject to change at the discretion of the Secret Service.”

Mayor Muriel E. Bowser noted the unprecedented interruption of daily life for city residents and businesses while all of the above continues.

Saying “we are in unchartered waters” greatly over-dramatizes preparations for alleged threats that are highly unlikely to happen unless one or more state-sponsored false flags are planned to further vilify Trump and his supporters.

No reported intelligence or other information suggests a serious enough or any threat to warrant over-the-top preparations — notably 25,000 National Guard troops from all states.

No explanation was given for what’s going on at enormous taxpayer expense — other than non-specific remarks.

The best FBI director Christopher Wray would offer was saying the following:

“We are seeing an extensive amount of concerning online chatter — that’s the best way I would describe it — about a number of events surrounding the inauguration” with no further elaboration.

His remark suggested no organized or other planned threat(s) to inauguration day events — likely because there are none expected.

According to one observer who walked around the perimeter of barricades twice this week, it’s nearly impossible for any unauthorized vehicle or person to get anywhere near close to where inaugural ceremonies will be conducted.

At Secret Service discretion, closures, barriers, and other preparations are subject to change.

A Final Comment

On Friday, Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser’s remark was an Orwellian shot across the bow for what may be coming ahead nationwide, saying:

“(O)ur entire country is going to have to deal with how our intelligence apparatus, security apparatus at every level deal with a very real and present threat to our nation (sic).”

Her remark indicates a new abnormal for the city that perhaps is coming to the US nationwide.

The only “threat to our nation” is state-sponsored.

A free and open society appears on the chopping block for elimination — totalitarian rule enforced by police state harshness appears coming to replace it.

Why Does the US Department of Justice Want to Worsen the Split in the US Population?

Why Does the US Department of Justice Want to Worsen the Split in the US Population?

Paul Craig Roberts

The initial charges against those few who entered the Capitol during the Trump rally were “entering a restricted building without permission and engaging in disorderly conduct while inside.” This charge does not carry sufficient punishment for the kind of example the Establishment intends to make of Trump supporters.

Michael Sherwin, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, sees a chance for his 15 minutes of fame. He announced in a press conference that he has built a team of national security attorneys to create sedition and conspiracy charges against Trump “rioters who stormed the Capitol.”

Note that excessive language accompanies excessive charges. Whether those who got into the Capitol were let in or broke in, there was no “storming,” and certainly no conspiracy to commit sedition. Sherwin says that he is “treating this just like a significant international counterterrorism or counterintelligence operation.”

Even the videos shown on anti-Trump news sites, such as The Hill, show the “insurrectionists” in the Capitol walking peacefully and keeping within the roped lane. How is this violent insurrection? There are videos making the rounds that show Trump supporters restraining a man who is trying to break a window in the Capitol. It is clear that the Trump supporters regard the person as an Antifa member.

In any demonstration there will be nutcases and provocateurs. To define a peaceful demonstration by the acts of a few is dishonest. Remember, the presstitutes repeatedly called the Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots that looted and burned business areas of Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Atlanta and other cities “peaceful protests.” When the presstitutes had to acknowledge that there was violence, they blamed it on Trump supporters or white supremacists who had allegedly infiltrated the peaceful protests.

Infiltration does seem to have happened to Trump supporters at the Capitol. According to a report by a person present at the Capitol to film the event that was sent to Professor Mark Crispin Miller at New York University, agitators suddenly appeared with bull horns and provoked Trump supporters to rush up the steps at the back of the Capitol. The relatively few who entered the Capitol apparently entered from the front. Some reports say they were allowed in. Here is the account of the cameraman that I reported on January 7:

“I was in Washington, D.C. today filming the Trump rally and related events. I also ran across your post concerning the Capitol demonstration tonight. Perhaps this short account will help you assess what others are saying in a small way.

“I was also at the Capitol before the crowd appeared setting-up my camera on a stone wall around the perimeter of the back of the capitol (the rear facing Constitution Avenue). Then I waited for President Trump’s speech to end and for supporters to walk-up Constitution Avenue to the Capitol. I was located at the precise location where supporters first rushed up the slope towards the back of the Capitol after casting aside a section of the first Capitol perimeter barrier. Supporters gathered roughly at the center of the back of the capitol, but a circle began to grow around the perimeter as the crowd grew larger. I had no sense that the growing crowd intended to rush the Capitol.

“After a large crowd emerged at the perimeter a man in perhaps his late 30’s or early 40’s showed-up, pacing quickly to his left then to his right before the crowd, and essentially began hurling insults at the crowd challenging their political wisdom. He excoriated the crowd for thinking that their attendance would be taken seriously by members of congress. (Hard to say that he was wrong about that, whoever he was). I cannot recall his precise words, but for a very short period he engaged in a shouting exchange with supporters, and suddenly supporters pushed aside the first barrier and rushed towards the back of the Capitol. Others on the northern edge of the perimeter followed suit. But the first rush was right at the center of the back of the Capitol. I followed the rush to the bottom of the Capitol back steps, and began filming again from atop an inner perimeter stone wall.

“The police, so it appeared, were a little surprised by the rush, and this gave supporters an opportunity to race up the steps. One or two men even made it as far as the steps leading up to the scaffolds on the south side of the Capitol before police arrested them. By this time, five or ten men had climbed to the top of the tall steel tower structure facing the Capitol. Then the police erected and lined-up behind a new barrier perimeter at the foot of the Capitol steps. Police at the top of the Capitol steps aimed rifles down on the crowd (perhaps rubber bullet rifles, I could not tell). The crowd began arguing with police and pressing hard against the new barrier. The police sprayed men pressing directly against the barrier with tear gas from time to time causing them to retreat. “Meanwhile, the men at the top of the tower began rallying the crowd to challenge the new barrier (over bull horns) by filling any gaps between the barrier and the stone wall that I was using as a filming vantage point. Another man worked the crowd with a bull horn immediately in front of me and also encouraged supporters to climb over the inner perimeter stone wall (my filming vantage point) and create a wall of pressure on the new barrier at the bottom of the Capitol back steps.

“After about 30 minutes to an hour I dropped to the bottom of the stone wall to reload my camera when suddenly the barrier gave way and police attempted to fortify it by blasting tear gas into the area between the stone wall and the barrier. I was hit by the gas myself and struggled back over the stone wall in order to breathe. The gas threw many crowd members into a panic. And I was nearly trampled as I struggled to lift my camera and heavy gear bag over the wall after two women began pulling desperately on the back of my coat to pull themselves up and over the moderately high wall in retreat.

“After the second perimeter barrier gave way, the men with the bull horns began working the crowd very hard to fill-up with Trump supporters the steps of the Capitol and the scaffolding on both sides of it. At this point one of the calls, which the men with bull horns repeated from time to time in order to encourage people to climb the Capitol steps was “this is not a rally; it’s the real thing.” Another frequent call was “its now or never.” After about a two hour effort peppered with bull horn calls of this nature the entire back of the Capitol was filled with Trump supporters and the entire face of the Capitol was covered with brilliant small and very large Trump banners, American flags, and various other types of flags and banners.

“Sometime after the rush on the back of the Capitol, people were apparently able to enter the Capitol itself through the front. But I was not witness to anything at the front or inside the Capitol.

“One clearly bona fide Trump supporter who had apparently entered the Capitol himself was telling others emotionally and angrily (including press representatives of some sort, even a foreign newsman) that he witnessed someone inside the Capitol encouraging violence whom he strongly suspected was not a legitimate Trump supporter (apparently on the basis that the man showed no signs at all of Trump support on his apparel). I did not pay that close attention to his claims (for example the precise claim of the violence encouraged) because, naturally, I had not yet read your post and it had not occurred to me that professional outsiders might play a role in instigating particular violent acts in order to discredit the event.

“I overheard one Trump supporter (who followed the rush on the Capitol himself) say aloud, “I brought many others to this rally, but we did not sign on for this” as he watched matters escalate.

“Still, from my seat, I would say that large numbers of very legitimate Trump supporters felt that it was their patriotic duty to occupy the Capitol in light of their unshakable beliefs that (1) the 2020 election was a fraud, (2) that the vast majority of the members of congress are corrupt and compromised, and (3) that the country is in the throes of what they consider a “communist” takeover (although many use the expression “communism” as a synonym for “totalitarianism”). They are also convinced that the virus narrative is a fraud and an essential part of an effort to undermine the Constitution –in particular the Bill of Rights. They have a very real fear that the country and the very conception of any culture of liberty is on the verge of an irreparable collapse. For most (if not a very large majority) rushing the Capitol was a desperate eleventh hour act of partiotism –even of the order of the revolution that created our nation. Some Trump supporters sang the Star Spangled Banner and other patriotic songs as others climbed the Capitol steps. They also demonstrated a measure of respect for the Capitol itself. I saw no attempt by anyone to deface the Capitol simply for the sake of defacing it.

“The incontrovertibly compromised press has called this event a riot. But from what I saw and heard this would indeed be a gross and intentionally misleading oversimplification at best. At least from the standpoint of supporters, if their Capitol event was a riot, then so was the Boston Tea Party. It also seems to me that some professional help (very aware of deep sentiments) might have come from somewhere to make sure that the party happened.”

It was a riot and violent and an insurrection, because that is what the Establishment wants it to be. Overstating what happened turns it into a weapon that can be used against Trump and his supporters as Acting US Attorney Michael Sherwin intends to do.

If Sherwin were to conduct a real investigation, he would probably find that the organized plan he is looking for was an Antifa plan or a plan of some Establishment group to use provocateurs to stampede rally attendees into some action that would discredit Trump and the rally. Of course, this is nothing that Sherwin wants to find.

The violent looters who rampaged through American cities have not been held accountable. Yet the US Justice Department is intent on framing people protesting what they believe was a stolen election as “insurrectionists” with a conspiracy of sedition. If Sherwin and the Establishment he serves had any judgment, they would not throw gasoline on a fire unless they want a bigger fire. It seems that a bigger fire is what they do want.

A bigger fire would help the new domestic terrorism bill that criminalizes dissent. Under this bill, those who challenge Establishment explanations could find themselves charged with terrorism. Law is what prosecutors establish it to be. What is terrorism becomes a subjective judgment and is whatever a prosecutor says it is.

There was no insurrection on January 6, which is puzzling in a way. If tens of millions of Americans believe that their democracy is threatened by a stolen election and nothing was being done about it, who would be surprised if there was an insurrection? It seems to me that everyone but the Establishment and its minons would support such an insurrection.

To charge Trump supporters for something that did not happen, while not charging Antifa for what did happen, is the best way to split the population. Why does Michael Sherwin want to splint the American population?

Joe Biden’s Secretary of Defense nominee Lloyd Austin said if he is confirmed he will “rid our ranks of racists and extremists.”

And by “racists and extremists” he is referring to white male Trump supporters.

“If confirmed, I will work hard to stamp out sexual assault and to rid our ranks of racists and extremists and create a climate where everyone fit and willing has the opportunity to serve this country,” Lloyd Austin said referring to transgenders at Tuesday’s confirmation hearing.

Washington Post: the Racial Enemy Is Multiracial Whiteness
STEVE SAILER • JANUARY 18, 2021

From the Washington Post opinion section:
Opinion by Cristina Beltrán
Jan. 15, 2021 at 1:44 p.m. PST
Cristina Beltrán is an associate professor of social and cultural analysis at New York University. She is the author, most recently, of “Cruelty as Citizenship: How Migrant Suffering Sustains White Democracy.”
… What are we to make of Tarrio — and, more broadly, of Latino voters inspired by Trump? And what are we to make of unmistakably White mob violence that also includes non-White participants? I call this phenomenon multiracial whiteness — the promise that they, too, can lay claim to the politics of aggression, exclusion and domination.
Before Trump, conservatives seeking to appeal to Latinos typically embraced the politics of conservative multiculturalism. Politicians such as George W. Bush reached out to Latino voters by showing a familiarity with their language and history, emphasizing the values of diversity and inclusion. Depicting Latinos as a distinct and valuable part of America’s democratic mosaic, conservative multiculturalism connected Latino culture to Republican values, emphasizing conservative approaches to faith, patriotism and the traditional family.
Trump, by contrast, knows nothing of the history of Latinos in the United States and rarely even pretends to find value in Latinos’ distinct identities. Rather than offering his non-White voters recognition, Trump has offered them multiracial whiteness.
Rooted in America’s ugly history of white supremacy, indigenous dispossession and anti-blackness, multiracial whiteness is an ideology invested in the unequal distribution of land, wealth, power and privilege — a form of hierarchy in which the standing of one section of the population is premised on the debasement of others.
Multiracial whiteness reflects an understanding of whiteness as a political color and not simply a racial identity — a discriminatory worldview in which feelings of freedom and belonging are produced through the persecution and dehumanization of others.
Multiracial whiteness promises Latino Trump supporters freedom from the politics of diversity and recognition. For voters who see the very act of acknowledging one’s racial identity as itself racist, the politics of multiracial whiteness reinforces their desired approach to colorblind individualism. In the politics of multiracial whiteness, anyone can join the MAGA movement and engage in the wild freedom of unbridled rage and conspiracy theories.
I get the impression that Professor of Latinology Beltran doesn’t know much about Latin America.

Biden To Focus On Domestic Terror, Possibly Targeting Trump Supporters

UPDATED 7:28 AM PT – Wednesday, January 20, 2021

Joe Biden’s national security team will reportedly take actions against domestic extremism in the wake of the Capitol Hill demonstrations as well as ongoing threats to Washington, D.C. and state capitol buildings.

According to reports this week, Biden transition officials and his incoming national security team are seeking to shift government resources for counter-terrorism to fight domestic threats.

During Senate confirmation hearings Tuesday, Biden’s nominee for director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, said she would draft a public report of the conspiracy theory QAnon, which has been labeled by the mainstream media as a “cult” and part of the fuel that led to the January 6 violence.

If she is confirmed as the nation’s top intelligence chief, Haines promised to work with federal law enforcement agencies conducting these political probes.

“Obviously the Intelligence Community is not in the lead in managing these events,” she stated. “It’s the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, but the Intelligence Community I hope will have an important role in supporting their work and ultimately in particular looking at any connections there are between folks in the United States and externally foreign.”

This new Biden terror agenda is being slammed by conservatives who fear this is an effort to target the Trump base.

The mainstream media has already amplified this narrative as former deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe claimed on CNN that pro-Trump supporters have been radicalized by President Trump. He went as far as comparing them to ISIS militants.

“They’ve clearly been radicalized and it explodes in an orgy of violence and mayhem,” said McCabe. “And just insanity…it has all the hallmarks of a riot of extremists.”

Former Trump campaign adviser Mercedes Schlapp issued a warning about McCabe’s comments on Twitter Monday. She fired back, noting this is where the left is going next.
This is where the Left is going next. Trump supporters = ISIS. The irresponsibility of the Left is appalling and will cause further division. https://t.co/047uRvnHjQ

[COMMENT: Do you think they will stop at impeachment of the President or fold election integrity concerns into claims of sedition and insurrection? Do you think this is preparatory to calling up the Insurrection Act to accomplish gun confiscation and eliminate individual liberty? They are getting pretty extreme in their rhetoric.]

What Does Insurrection or Sedition Mean? Definition of Words Used To Describe Capitol Riot
Seren Morris 1/7/2021

The rioting at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday has been described as both insurrection and sedition by politicians and media organizations—but what do these terms mean?

a person standing in front of a flag: President Donald Trump greets the crowd at the Stop The Steal Rally on January 06, 2021, in Washington, D.C. Many politicians and media outlets are describing Wednesday's events as insurrection and sedition.
© Tasos Katopodis/Getty President Donald Trump greets the crowd at the "Stop The Steal" Rally on January 06, 2021, in Washington, D.C. Many politicians and media outlets are describing Wednesday's events as insurrection and sedition.
Supporters of President Donald Trump broke into the Capitol building and gained access to lawmakers' offices and the Senate chamber, leaving damage and destruction in their wake.

Rather than condemn the rioters' actions, Trump told them in a video that was later removed by Twitter: "We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election, and everyone knows it."

Trump also told them: "So go home, we love you and you're very special. You've seen what happens. You've seen the ways others are treated which are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel. But go home and go home in peace."

The chaos at the Capitol, which left four people dead, has been described by politicians and media organizations as "insurrection" and "sedition"—this is what they mean.

Insurrection definition
Insurrection is defined by the Oxford Languages dictionary as "a violent uprising against an authority or government."

Sedition definition
Sedition is defined by the Oxford Languages dictionary as "conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch."

Coup definition
The chaos yesterday has also been described as a failed coup. A coup is defined by the Oxford Languages dictionary as "a sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government."

The riot has been described as a coup attempt by news outlets including The Washington Post and The Atlantic, while many political figures have described yesterday's events as insurrection and sedition.

President-elect Joe Biden used the words insurrection and sedition to describe the chaos at the Capitol during his speech on Wednesday. Biden said: "Let me be very clear: The scenes of chaos at the Capitol do not reflect a true America. Do not represent who we are. What we're seeing is a small number of extremists dedicated to lawlessness.

"This is not dissent. It's disorder, it's chaos, it borders on sedition. And it must end now...

"To storm the Capitol, to smash windows, to occupy offices, the floor of the United States Senate, rummaging through desks... On the Capitol, on the House of Representatives, threatening the safety of duly elected officials... It's not protest, it's insurrection."
Let me be very clear: the scenes of chaos at the Capitol do not represent who we are. What we are seeing is a small number of extremists dedicated to lawlessness. This is not dissent, it's disorder. It borders on sedition, and it must end. Now.
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) January 6, 2021
Former President George W. Bush released a statement on Wednesday evening that referred to the riot as insurrection. Bush said: "The violent assault on the Capitol—and disruption of a Constitutionally-mandated meeting of Congress—was undertaken by people whose passions have been inflamed by falsehoods and false hopes.

"Insurrection could do grave damage to our Nation and reputation. In the United States of America, it is the fundamental responsibility of every patriotic citizen to support the rule of law."

Republican and former presidential nominee Mitt Romney also described the Capitol riot as insurrection and said: "We gather today due to a selfish man's injured pride and the outrage of his supporters whom he has deliberately misinformed for the past two months and stirred to action this very morning.

"What happened here today was an insurrection, incited by the president of the United States."

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci said that Trump "cheered the insurrection" and called for his removal in a Twitter post on Thursday: "Trump's terrorists rolled into Capitol [with] guns, mace and zip-tie handcuffs. They planned to take hostages and likely perform executions, ala the Michigan statehouse plot.

"President Trump incited and cheered the insurrection. He should be immediately removed from office and prosecuted."

The editorial board of The Washington Post has called for Trump's immediate removal as they describe his behavior on Wednesday as sedition.

The statement from the outlet says that Trump's "refusal to accept his election defeat and his relentless incitement of his supporters led Wednesday to the unthinkable: an assault on the U.S. Capitol by a violent mob that overwhelmed police and drove Congress from its chambers as it was debating the counting of electoral votes.

"Responsibility for this act of sedition lies squarely with the president, who has shown that his continued tenure in office poses a grave threat to U.S. democracy."

This creating new department is moronic. They already have the FBI, the DOJ and the whole of the deep state to attack their political opponents.

I think the real states should create laws that go back to Jan 1st and if any national authority performs a political test on their states National Guard than that states NG cannot be called up by that individual without the approval of the legislature.

Would make the process cumbersome but might as well start the fights now. Plus hard for the media to spin that for the new admin.

Court Docs: Small Group Of ‘Self-Styled’ Militia Members Pre-Planned Attack On U.S. Capitol, Wanted To Arrest Lawmakers

In a criminal complaint filed against three alleged leaders of the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol, the United States government notes that a small group of “self-styled” militia members made a plan to storm the building in the days and weeks before the incident and communicated during the breach, trying to find lawmakers.

“Welf-styled militia members from Virginia, Ohio and other states made plans to storm the U.S. Capitol days in advance of the Jan. 6 attack, and then communicated in real-time as they breached the building on opposite sides and talked about hunting for lawmakers, according to court documents filed Tuesday,” The Washington Post reported, citing the complaint.

The three suspects are U.S. military veterans, and all three allegedly made “statements that indicate a degree of preparation and determination to rush deep into the halls and tunnels of Congress to make ‘citizens’ arrests’ of elected officials,” according to the outlet.

The three allegedly agreed to “storm the castle” during a rally outside the U.S. Capitol building on January 6 — a rally that was billed as a demonstration against certifying the results of November’s presidential election, but quickly turned into a riot, leaving 5 dead and dozens injured. According to a series of text messages included in the complaint, the trio communicated in the days and weeks leading up to the attack, coordinating a group of 30-40 people to lead the way into and through the Capitol.

“We have about 30-40 of us. We are sticking together and sticking to the plan,” one of the accused, Jessica Watkins, told the other two during the incident, in audio recorded from Zello, a cell phone app that allows users to communicate as if they were using two-way radios.

“You are executing citizen’s arrest. Arrest this assembly, we have probable cause for acts of treason, election fraud,” a man can be heard responding.

“We are in the main dome right now. We are rocking it. They are throwing grenades, they are fricking shooting people with paintballs. But we are in here,” a woman believed to be Watkins, shot back.

The three individuals communicating allude to “training” and a “plan,” implying that the Capitol breach was pre-meditated, not a spur-of-the-moment incident as many believe.

“FBI charging papers against [alleged ringleader Thomas Edward] Caldwell, [Jessica] Watkins and a third person, former U.S. Marine Donovan Crowl, 50, allege that Caldwell and others coordinated in advance to disrupt Congress scouted for lodging and recruited Oath Keepers members from North Carolina and like-minded groups from the Shenandoah Valley,” per The Washington Post. “The group claims thousands of members who assert the right to defy government orders they deem improper. The plotters both anticipated violence and continued to act in concert after the break-in, investigators alleged.”
Not all of the individuals arrested on charges relating to the Capitol riot appear to be affiliated with Caldwell, Watkins, or Crowl, or their respective, “self-styled” militia groups, but the information could provide law enforcement officials with an idea of how thousands of people were able to storm the Capitol, breach security, and get within feet of prominent lawmakers.

Mass Surveillance in East Germany:

On 8 February 1950, East Germany saw the establishment of the Ministry for State Security (Ministerium für Staatssicherheit), commonly known as the Stasi.[7] The Stasi sought to "know everything about everyone".[8] Its annual budget has been estimated at approximately $1 billion.[8] The Stasi kept files on about 5.6 million people.[9]

The Stasi had 90,000 full-time employees who were assisted by 170,000 full-time unofficial collaborators (Inoffizielle Mitarbeiter); together these made up 1 in 63 (nearly 2%) of the entire East German population. Together with these, a much larger number of occasional informers brought up the total to 1 per 6.5 persons.[10][11][12][13][14][15]

People in East Germany were subjected to a variety of techniques, including audio and video surveillance of their homes, reading mail, extortion, and bribery.[16]

These people are completely insane. I've mentioned I met an interesting fellow who worked for a think tank back in day. They did a huge exercise and concluded that the federal government didn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning a civil war in any scenario. Which is what would happen INSTANTLY if they truly tried to come after half the country. Can you imagine 100,000 (or more?!) people going Dorner overnight?

The existence of a “secret police” force that subverts constitutional norms to repress the population is of course a hallmark of all dictatorial regimes, but that doesn’t appear to bother self-proclaimed “progressives.”

He also hits the nail on the head about the real reason why the creation of a new secret police unit would be necessary.

Is that not the FBI???

Don’t let the Piss Ants get you down…
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

Censorship Goes Official: House Democrats are Now Urging FBI to Investigate Parler

The social media app known as Parler took a heavy blow when it had its entire website ripped out from under it due to Amazon pulling it off its servers following the riot at the Capitol. Parler is now getting back on its feet, but now it has a new foe, the United States Government.

According to Fox News, the House Oversight Committee’s top Democrat, Carlyn Maloney, is attempting to sic the FBI on Parler, claiming that it was the platform that made the riot possible. Not only that, but she’s also claiming that it’s a possible breeding ground for foreign countries to incite sedition:

Carolyn Maloney, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, is asking the FBI to conduct a “robust examination” of the role social media site Parler played in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, specifically whether the platform was a “potential facilitator” of planning or inciting the violence.
Maloney, D-N.Y., in a letter to the FBI Thursday, requested that the FBI review whether Parler facilitated planning and questioned whether it is “a potential conduit for foreign governments who may be financing civil unrest in the United States.”
Maloney pointed to a number of individuals who have been arrested and charged threatening violence against elected officials or for their role in participating directly in the Capitol riot, and said the Justice Department alleged that some conspirators posted threatening message on Parler.
“It is clear that Parler houses additional evidence critical to investigations of the attack on the Capitol,” Maloney wrote.

She also mentioned that she wants answers about “Parler’s financing and its ties to Russia.” Maloney said that due to Parler CEO John Matze’s marriage to a woman who has ties to the Russian government, they want Matze and his company investigated thoroughly:
“The company was founded by John Matze shortly after he traveled to Russia with his wife, who is Russian and whose family reportedly has ties to the Russian government,” Maloney wrote, adding that “concerns about the company’s connections to Russia have grown” since the company “re-emerged on a Russian hosting service, DDos-Guard, after being denied services by Amazon Web Services.”

Maloney said DDos-Guard “has ties to the Russian government and hosts the websites of other far-right extremist groups, as well as the terrorist group Hamas.”
“Given these concerns, we ask that the FBI undertake a robust review of the role played by Parler in the January 6 attacks, including (1) as a potential facilitator of planning and incitement related to the attacks, (2) as a repository of key evidence posted by users on its site, and (3) as potential conduit for foreign governments who may be financing civil unrest in the United States,” Maloney wrote.
It’s fascinating that we didn’t get this kind of concern about foreign business ties when it came to the Biden family and their Ukraine dealings. It’s also strange that the left is now suddenly concerned about Hamas.

Let’s be real for a moment about what this is, though. If the Democrats didn’t care about foreign ties and dirty business dealings with the Biden family, they likely don’t care about Matze’s connections to Russia’s government, which are pretty thin.

What this is really is, is a message. Parler was gaining too much steam and too much popularity and with Trump needing a platform after being kicked off Twitter, Parler was his natural choice. This would have sent Parler’s userbase into the stratosphere, resulting in a very real threat to Twitter’s monopoly on short-form conversation social media. It’s likely that when Parler reopens its doors that its userbase will come flooding back and then some, resulting in the threat reemerging, especially as silicon valley continues to tighten the screws on conservatives.

Sending the FBI against Parler and Matze is telling everyone that free speech online won’t be tolerated, nor will any threats to the ongoing power balance. This is an attempt at intimidation and a measure to protect the left’s supremacy online as the gatekeepers of information and communication.

POSTED ON JANUARY 21, 2021 BY JOHN HINDERAKER IN LEFTISM, LIBERALS

“MULTIRACIAL WHITENESS”

“Whiteness” is an elastic concept. It turns out that you no longer have to be white to be white. “White” basically means that you don’t swallow the nonsense being ladled out by the far Left. So, happily, people of all colors are now “white,” according to liberals. Is that unity, or what?

At the American Spectator, “Cockburn” writes about “The terrifying scourge of ‘multiracial whiteness.’”
[T]here’s a small problem. Somehow, on their way to launching a neo-fascist takeover of the United States, the white supremacists ran out of whites. Simply looking at video of the Capitol riot, or looking at the FBI’s wanted images afterwards, makes it obvious that the mob of Trump die-hards were multiracial. The two most famous members of the Proud Boys, America’s premier ‘white nationalist’ group, are an Afro-Cuban and a Samoan. ‘Stop the Steal’ organizer Ali Alexander identifies as black and Arab. And of course, there are November’s famous exit polls, which showed that Joe Biden was carried to the White House by improving on Hillary Clinton’s support with white voters, while faltering with Hispanics and blacks.
Yikes! When you read those facts a few too many times, you start to wonder: what if the white supremacists aren’t white supremacists?
***
Fear not, though! The Washington Post is here to explain all the bad think away. Over the weekend, the paper ran a piece by NYU history professor Cristina Beltrán: ‘To understand Trump’s support, we must think in terms of multiracial Whiteness.’
Multiracial…whiteness? Aren’t those antonyms? Not at all, you fool.
Beltran’s WaPo piece is a marvel of intellectual confusion. It probably exemplifies all too well the low level of instruction in today’s universities.
Yes, Trump’s voters — and his mob — are disproportionately White, but one of the more unsettling exit-poll data points of the 2020 election was that a quarter to a third of Latino voters voted to reelect Trump.
How dare they? I don’t know, maybe they liked their rising incomes. Of course, mundane details like rising wages and near-zero unemployment are of no interest to liberals.
And while the vast majority of Latinos and an overwhelming majority of African American voters supported the Biden-Harris ticket and were crucial to its success, many Black and brown voters have family and friends who fervently backed the MAGA policy agenda, including its delusions and conspiracy theories.
Weird how when liberals talk about delusions and conspiracy theories, they never mean the Russia collusion hoax. Or the plot to pilfer the mailboxes, and so on.
I call this phenomenon multiracial whiteness — the promise that they, too, can lay claim to the politics of aggression, exclusion and domination.
Whoa! So “whiteness” refers to a “politics of aggression, exclusion and domination”? Who knew? Silly non-critical race theorists thought it just referred to an ethnic group. But, given that definition, are Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Amazon, Apple and Microsoft now “white”? Is there anyone else in our society so dedicated to aggression, exclusion and domination?
To call this bullshit is an insult both to bulls and to excrement. Does this woman have students? God help them.
Multiracial whiteness offers citizens of every background the freedom to call Muslims terrorists…
Of course, no one has ever said that all Muslims are terrorists, but many have noted that some terrorists are Muslims. That makes us all “white,” apparently.
…demand that undocumented [i.e., illegal] immigrants be rounded up and deported…
Actually, that is what the laws of the United States demand, and the president’s duty under Article II of the Constitution is to take care that the laws be faithfully executed. But I suspect that the Constitution is not a document with which Ms. Beltran is well acquainted.
…deride BLM as a movement of thugs and criminals…
While no one disagrees with the innocuous slogan “Black lives matter,” the BLM organization does in fact consist largely of thugs and criminals, as last summer’s riots demonstrated.
…and accuse Democrats of being blood-drinking pedophiles.
Heh. I haven’t heard that one before. Maybe she just mixed it in to see whether we were paying attention. Personally, I am not aware of any blood-drinking Democrats.

There is more insanity at the link, but you can’t read it without paying the Washington Post, which you shouldn’t do. The bottom line is that an ideology so confused as to denounce its philosophical opponents as “white,” regardless of their skin color, is not going to last long.
