Kyle Rittenhouse criticized NBA star LeBron James Monday on Blaze TV’s “You Are Here” over the basketball player’s tweet about Rittenhouse’s testimony during the homicide trial before he was acquitted on all counts.

After Rittenhouse broke down in tears during his testimony about the riot when he shot three people, James tweeted, “What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man, knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”

When asked if he regrets going to the Kenosha protests, Rittenhouse said, “Hindsight being 20/20, probably not the best idea to go down there. Can’t change that, but I defended myself and that’s what happened.”

He added, “Everyone should be able to defend themselves. I think it’s a God-given right, the right to self-defense. That’s what was on trial in Wisconsin, the right to self-defense.”

On the public’s reaction to his trial on social media, Rittenhouse said, “This world is so messed up. The things people just say and how they come out and attack people for random reasons.”

When asked to respond to James’ tweet, Rittenhouse said, “I was a Lakers fan too before he said that. I was really pissed off when he said that because I liked LeBron, and then I’m like, you know, ‘F-ck you, LeBron.”

Such a taciturn reticent human. Could I talk I would bend his ear for about 20 minutes.

Kyle should be careful. Keeping pent up feelings inside is unhealthy.

Maybe so, but I’d bet he’s had so much emotion pent up trying to “take the high road “ through all of this horror that he’s had just about enough!!

And remember his age, too.
Sorry but that kind of thinking/statements call into question if his initial decisions were correct in this matter.
He, like a lot of us, has to learn when & where he can say certain things--or even if: -- getting into a pissing match or arguement w/ any celeb probably isn't the best idea...
A low profile is going to help him get back to a life.

All of this social media is in fact dangerous. First off, a few people espouse their opinions and you are lead to believe a vast majority of people feel that way. How do you get to that logic when there are 8 billion people in the world with 335 million in the USA alone. Next the paid influencers chime in. They get paid to express an opinion and if their opinions go against the grain or desired narrative, they are deplatformed. Actors, whose opinions are uninformed most of the time, want to remain relevant and employed will say whatever the crowd wants. With the hope of not being canceled or forgotten.
LJ should realize that his skill set revolves around bouncing a 9lb up and down a wooden floor for an hr at a time. Hardly brain surgery

an overpaid crybaby POS - if it weren't for his ability to bounce a freakin ball he'd be just another inner shitty thug. ANY use of social meedia - AZZ borg - in particular, by anyone is IMHO is an UNWISE choice at this point in history

He has already expressed no intention of filing any lawsuits.

With discovery being what it is now along with the jurisdictions to be involved I can see where that feeling is coming from. There is still a window of opportunity to change his mind and go to court.

Kyle should just stay totally away from social media and interviews.
It's like trying to fight off hyenas with your hands and feet tied.
Nor should one wallow in the mud with the mudslingers. (Trump did that all the time, and while many loved it, I and many others felt it detracted from his job duties and made him look petty.)

He made a mistake. Given his age and what he's been through, mistakes are going to happen. But he stopped there. And hopefully those around him can help him.

Well LEBRON should know free speech when he hears it.

It's freedom of speech. Not freedom from speech.

I probably would have "blessed his (LJ) heart" a few times and would have left it at that.

This feels weird seeing this kid everywhere. Makes my spidy senses perk up. You know, like when you think a cat is sleeping, but make a noise and that ear radar picks up?

It doesn't matter what Lebron thinks. But if Rittenhouse is considering suing, OR if he's going to be the target of civil suits (virtually assured), he just demonstrated whan the other side might call a "lack of self-control." That won't help him moving forward. Now, if, when all is said and done a few years from now, he came out with a 50-pafe FU!! treatise, that would be fine. But NOT. RIGHT. NOW.

And if he stubbed his toe during a game, he'd be picked up and carried off court, grimacing in agony, while some grotesquely overpriced announcer would praise his heroism.

Neither here nor there.
As I'm listening the the Clay and Buck show this afternoon, aka formerly Rush Limbaugh show, while I'm sitting in line waiting at the pharmacy drive up window it occurs to me that Kyles mistake wasn't telling Lebron to F off, but it was that he told Lebrons handlers, aka Nike, aka China, to F off.

I didn't realize how much the NBA was embroiled with china, (Buck and Clay laid that out and pretty clearly) aka they take their marching orders from the CCP. Apparently, basketball is a huge deal there, and Nike has their $200 shoes made with slave labor there, etc. When Lebron attacked Kyle, he did so at the orders of his handlers, cause you know what's another ten million dollars.

Anyway, just some random thoughts while I waited twenty minutes to pick up to prescriptions. Glad I stopped at Arby's first, ate lunch while I was waiting for my scripts.
