GUNS/RLTD Interesting / collectible ammo

Forgot I had this stuff. The box on the lower left is dated 1921. 100 years old! All of these are full boxes and unopened except for the 100 year old “aircraft” one. Think they’re worth anything as collectibles? I have no intention of shooting any of it, but I’ll bet it would go bang just fine. Actually might be worth something to Ammunition Collectors. No idea what, but a little online research might pop up something.

I’ve got several of these, that was passed to me from an older family member.
Also , not pictured is a whole crate in original wooden box of 8x56R ammo from WWII with the German marks and labels on it. Everyone I’ve tried goes bang.DE55312F-80E7-4967-A601-6C0FD6BF2AEC.jpeg

old collector ammo was pretty hot for several years then the bottom fell out of it maybe 10-20 years ago and prices dropped and sales really slumped.

Have a bunch of 12ga. shells having waxed paper hulls. I’m guessing from the 60’s. They came from a relative. The boxes are getting sort of weak. Also have a sealed tin of .45ACP ball from WWII. Think it was loaded at a Chrysler plant in Indiana. Just thought it was cool. Would go well with a vintage 1911a1, which I have no intention of trying to acquire.

I've got some Israeli ammo from the 80's in 9 mil which is in plastic cases and reloadable. I've never shot any but it has a boat-tail which leads me to believe it was for an Uzi SMG.

I've seen some of the 20 round boxes of WWII vintage .45 acp going for $75 to $95 each (in pristine condition, with original outer wrappers). I recently sold several boxes in slightly rougher condition for $30 apiece.

Son and I took the M1 out for exercise. Was using some 1950s surplus ammo I got years ago. Got curious about the WCC 58 headstamp and checked the web. Found that it is collectible and was going for $2 / round. That was quite a surprisingly expensive afternoon.

There's a great market for collectible ammo. As with any collectible, condition is tantamount, the boxes are the big thing, if they're sealed even better.
There are shell & cartridge boxes worth into the thousands.

Just for fun. Some of the stuff I’ve collected over the years. Hope the resolution is good enough for you to zoom in. Some of the old boxes are pretty cool. All the old powder cans are unopened and many of the ammo boxes are full. 5ADCE2BF-34BF-4911-B512-479DAF94DFB4.jpeg
