I'm sick of rain, I want to go out and play!!!

It's been raining all day again and I'm getting really antsy. I want to go out and play with my new miner's pick! If it doesn't quit raining soon, I'm going to grow webbed feet! I don't feel like cooking or cleaning, I just want to go outside, darn it anyhow.
Last night at work I almost got blown to OZ. It was raining and blowing in the dock door so bad that I could see it flying across the ceiling. I was afraid it was going to soak the machine shop's computer, so I went to shut the door. I got within 3 feet of the door and the wind and rain hit me so hard in the face that it knocked the breath out of me. I gasped my way to the control for the door, and when I got close the wind blew in again so hard it knocked me off my feet. I went flying backwards toward metal racks full of steel rods. Luckily there was a chair sitting there that I grabbed onto as I almost fell over it, and it broke my fall. I was never so scared in my life! All I could think of was "Aw s--t, this is really gonna hurt!" I told my boss that I wasn't going near that door again unless he found something to tie me to first. He told me I better gain some weight, and next time find one of the guys to shut it!
It rained like this last summer too, and my garden did terrible. I'm afraid everything is going to rot! Something has already eaten most of my melon and squash plants, and I'm afraid all this rain is going to keep the slugs in the garden. I keep putting beer out, but the rain is diluting it every time.
Any way, I just wanted to complain! I'm bored stiff, nobody is around, and I have to go to work in 45 minutes.

I'd gladly send you some!!!! We haven't been able to get any outside work done lately. We no sooner get something started and have to quit. I think it's rained every weekend.

we will take some here - have not had rain for more than 2 months - of any amount that counts it has been longer still - my mom in PA is also complaining her garden is drowning - what the rabbits or whatever that is eating things or the salt trucks did not spray and kill - not a happy camper at all - not expecting to have any more rain here until July and the trouble is we can get an inch in an hour and then it floods - but I prefer that to the rain all the time - love the sunny days - hope you have sun soon - i am sure the farmers are also hoping for the rain to stop also - remember when we were growing up my friends father trying to figure out when he could cut hay so it would have long enough to cure and dry to bale - heck here we bale at 2-3am in the summer so there might be some moisture to bale well - of course we will be haing problems soon with our summer monsoons dropping rain

Send it to us, we've only been getting dry stoms. Lots of lightning and wind, but little, if any rain. Fire season is upon us here in the CA Sierras.:shk:
