I used to think I was 100% republican until a few years ago when I realized that absolutely anybody that gets into politics (from school board level on up) is doing it with some type of personal gain at the root. There is no such thing as an altruistic politician anymore. They all take their salaries and they all vote on things that will benefit them and theirs first and hope that it works out for the rest. All the videos and tweets are merely theatrics like this one.

Release the perps name out to the public and let society sort it out
We, The People® instinctively know about how to handle such things, effectively.

Have thought that "we" will need to step up to the plate on this "wetworks" issue - literally - with a proper protection group comprised of capable We, The People® members - for more than a few of the folks and their families who are on the front lines of this war.

Time for Sheriffs to begin deputizing the citizens, sez me.

Walking the talk - that is all.

Doesn't even get into the potential involvement of the legates, centurions and legionaires....

The insider trading is also a very good perk.

Man arrested for threatening Rep. Matt Gaetz

A California man was busted for threatening to kill Rep. Matt Gaetz and shoot his children in a profanity-laced phone message to the Florida congressman’s office, reports said.

Eugene Huelsman was arrested last week in the Los Angeles area for a January call to Gaetz’s office, according to Politico.

The indictment was over a January phone call made three days after the siege on the US Capitol and was handed down by a grand jury in May, but had been sealed until Huelsman’s arrest, according to Fox News.

The indictment does not mention Gaetz by name and refers to the target as M.G., though he has confirmed he was the target of the threats to Fox and other news agencies.

“Tell [M.G.] to watch his back, tell him to watch his children,” Huelsman said in the call, according to the indictment, which was obtained by Politico. “I’m coming for him, he’s gonna f—king die … I’m gonna f—king kill him.

“Watch your back, I’m coming for you,” he allegedly goes on. “I’m gonna put a bullet in you and I’m gonna put a bullet in one of your f—king kids too.”

Huelsman, of Thousand Oaks, is apparently a longtime camera operator in TV and film, with work including “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” according to Politico. He also did work for ABC and CNN, according to Fox.

Gaetz had recently delivered remarks on the House floor saying federal investigators weren’t taking threats against him seriously, and he told Politico he believed those statements sparked the arrest.

“An indictment was issued in May, and has now been unsealed the week after my criticism,” he reportedly said. “If they if they took our security seriously, they would arrest all of the people who violate federal law and the threats to kill us, not just some of them … I think that the Department of Justice is biased against Republicans.”

A former camera guy for ABC, NBC and CNN has been arrested for threatening to kill Rep. Matt Gaetz and any future children that he has.

Eugene “Gene” Huelsman, 58, was arrested in Los Angeles on an indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Pensacola, Florida.
“Tell [M.G.] to watch his back, tell him to watch his children,” Huelsman told Gaetz’s office on Jan. 9, according to the two-page indictment shielding the lawmaker’s name as “M.G.” that was obtained by Law & Crime. “I’m coming for him, he’s gonna ****ing die… I’m gonna ****ing kill him… Watch your back, I’m coming for you. I’m gonna put a bullet in you and I’m gonna put a bullet in one of your ****ing kids too.”
The indictment was filed under seal all the way back in May, but there was seemingly no effort to arrest him until Gaetz complained on the House floor about the Justice Department not taking threats against him seriously enough.

“I think someone may be trying to kill me and if they are successful I would like my constituents and my family to know who stopped their arrest,” Gaetz said last Wednesday. He added that someone had threatened him on Twitter and travelled to DC, but the Justice Department declined to arrest the suspect — even though the Capitol Police recommended that they should.
Huelsman previously received five Emmy nominations for his work on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
Though he was not fully named in the indictment, Gaetz confirmed to Politico on Tuesday that he was the target of the threats.
“An indictment was issued in May, and has now been unsealed the week after my criticism,” Gaetz said. “If they took our security seriously, they would arrest all of the people who violate federal law and the threats to kill us, not just some of them… I think that the Department of Justice is biased against Republicans.”

Well, they (The Progressive Left) do want you dead. It seems they were willing to start with Gaetz.

Interesting it was a Florida Grand Jury Indictment and the alledged perp was apprehended in Los Angeles.

I'd love to be a four legged birdie sitting and watching this trial.

Optics is a WONDERFUL thing. All Congressional testimony is transcribed. (Closed hearings not so much as in their view, hearing "conclusions" matter more.)
