Miranda Devine: ‘Well founded’ concerns Joe Biden compromised by China
Fox News contributor Miranda Devine on the investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop
Fox News contributor Miranda Devine told "Fox & Friends" Tuesday there are "well-founded concerns" that President Biden may be compromised by China, referring to new revelations from Hunter Biden's laptop involving contacts with Google executives and top U.S. officials involved with China policy.

HUNTER BIDEN'S EX-WIFE CLAIMS OBLIVIOUSNESS TO EMAILS, BUSINESS DEALINGS: 'I HAD MY HEAD BURIED IN THE SAND'

MIRANDA DEVINE: I think it's more of our indications that Hunter Biden was deeply embedded in the very highest echelons of the U.S. government during the time that his father was vice president. And also Big Tech, some of the personal cell phone numbers that he had in his contact list included top U.S. officials who were responsible for overseeing the China-U.S. relationship, also top Google executives. And I think it shows that, whatever else we say about Joe Biden, there have to be well-founded concerns that he may be compromised when it comes to China, through his son and his brother's family business to do with China.

And a lot of that is being investigated by the US attorney in Delaware … that probe drags on. Let's hope that it doesn't get slow-walked past the midterms. But I think after the midterms, when the Republicans, if they do take back the House and the Senate or the Senate, they will be definitely be investigating. That's what they're saying. They're already marshaling resources and investigating behind the scenes. And they will be looking into all these links between
Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, Joe Biden, and the Chinese communist regime in particular.

Joe Biden: Hunter Biden is the smartest guy I know.

Hunter Biden reportedly called Jill an ‘entitled c–t’ in texts

By Emily Crane

Hunter Biden called his step-mom Jill Biden a “vindictive moron” and “entitled c–t” in text messages after she urged him to go to rehab to kick his drug habit, according to a new report.

President Biden’s 52-year-old druggie son made the remarks in a string of text messages that he sent in 2018 as he family were rallying to get him help, The Sun reported.

In one particular text sent to his brother Beau’s widow, Hallie Biden, who he was scandalously dating at the time, Hunter went off on the now first lady.

“F–k my stepmother for always being as much of a selfish silly entitled c–t as you,” he wrote to Hallie as their brief relationship deteriorated.

He also admitted to calling his stepmom a “f–king moron, a vindictive moron” in a separate text exchange with his uncle, James Biden, just days later.

In the texts to his uncle, who is President Biden’s brother, Hunter said he had raged to Jill that he was smarter than her.

“And you do know the drunkest I’ve ever been is still smarter than you could ever even comprehend and you’re a shut [sic] grammar teacher that wouldn’t survive one class in a ivy graduate program,” Hunter said in the text.

“So go f–k yourself Jill let’s all agree I don’t like you anymore than you like me.”

In another text to his uncle, Hunter bemoaned that his own father allegedly hadn’t visited him during his prior rehab stints.

“Litteraly [sic] has never come to one never actually called me while in rehab,” Hunter wrote of his father. “So that’s a little insane.”

The text messages were uncovered on an iPhone that was found backed up on Hunter’s laptop from hell, The Sun reported.

The revelations of the brutal messages emerged in the same week Hunter was repeatedly photographed alongside his father and the first lady in Washington.

Hunter much of the Fourth of July weekend at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, and was then pictured watching the Independence Day fireworks from the White House’s Truman Balcony with his extended family.

Criminal Cronies: The Never-Ending Trail of Biden Family Corruption | Glenn TV | Ep 209

Premiered Jul 20, 2022

BlazeTV

The Hunter Biden laptop scandal just got worse. But don’t be distracted by the salacious photos — we’re dealing with a national security threat. America has seen plenty of bad scandals and corruption involving presidents and vice presidents before, but at least there were consequences and some measure of justice. People were forced to resign and several went to prison. Joe Biden, on the other hand, is at the center of what may be the biggest corruption scandal in presidential family history. And yet so far, he’s been given a free pass despite the mountain of clear evidence that he abused his position as vice president to enrich his family. He knew exactly what his son and brother were up to yet continues to lie to the American people about his knowledge. There are so many questions, red flags, and conflicts of interest surrounding the Biden family’s business activities that it’s hard to keep track. And it all raises legitimate questions about Joe Biden’s actions now as president. The Justice Department has been investigating Hunter Biden’s financial activity for over two years and still nothing has happened. Why not? Glenn argues Attorney General Merrick Garland owes Americans a status update on this investigation. The mainstream media wants you to think that any discussion of the Bidens’ corruption is just a right-wing witch hunt or cruel harassment of Joe Biden’s troubled son. Wrong. Glenn explains why this scandal can no longer be ignored and why every American, Republican or Democrat, should care about this corrupt abuse of power.

Experts: Hunter Biden’s Failure to Register as Foreign Agent Could Mean Prison

Hunter Biden reportedly did not register as a foreign agent while making business deals overseas, according to the New York Post.

Experts said recently it was a possible crime that could result in him being sent to prison.

The report noted Biden was registered as a lobbyist for domestic interests but not under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

In addition, Biden could reportedly face charges regarding tax violations and lying about illegally buying a firearm.

Breitbart News reported Wednesday:
The probe, which has been ongoing for years and debated for months among Justice Department officials, also centers on the Biden family’s foreign business schemes while Joe Biden was vice president. During those years, Hunter routinely met with Joe Biden about 30 times at either the White House or the vice president’s residences at the Naval Observatory, Hunter’s laptop from hell revealed.
Meanwhile, George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley addressed the FARA issue, saying, “recent disclosures of additional foreign contacts has only strengthened what was already a strong case.”

“Indeed, in the last few weeks, the compelling basis for a FARA charge has becomes unassailable and undeniable,” Turley said.

Hunter reportedly met with the Crown Prince of Yugoslavia and his wife in 2015, and the couple apparently asked him to approach his father with a request for money to help fix up their palace located in Belgrade.

“If Hunter relayed the request for US government assistance then that would be a FARA registrable event,” Craig Engle, a FARA expert who leads the political law practice at Arent Fox Schiff, stated.

In April, Breitbart News senior contributor and Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer said President Joe Biden was at the center of Hunter’s legal woes.

The author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, explained, “This started out as a Hunter Biden story and is now with Joe Biden story. He is at the center. He is the planet which the moons in the family Hunter Biden and James Biden revolve.”

Earlier this month, Breitbart News reported President Biden played a part in his family’s business dealings approximately 13 times during a period of nine years and detailed those incidents.

FBI Sabotaged Hunter Biden Evidence To Derail Investigation: Whistleblowers

MONDAY, JUL 25, 2022 - 06:45 PM

Several FBI whistleblowers say that the agency's probe into Hunter Biden was internally sabotaged during the 2020 election in order to derail the investigation, after agents wrongfully deemed verified evidence as "disinformation" to ignore.

According to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), agents investigating Hunter "opened an assessment which was used by an FBI headquarters team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease," adding that his office received "a significant number of protected communications from highly credible whistleblowers" regarding the investigation.

Grassley added that "verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation," according to the Washington Examiner.
FBI supervisory intelligence agent Brian Auten opened in August 2020 the assessment that was later used by the agency, according to the disclosures. One of the whistleblowers claimed the FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Washington field office, Timothy Thibault, shut down a line of inquiry into Hunter Biden in October 2020 despite some of the details being known to be true at the time.

A whistleblower also said Thibault “ordered closed” an “avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting," according to Grassley, even though “all of the reporting was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants.” The senator said Thibault “ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason as required” and that FBI officials “subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future,” according to the disclosures.
The whistleblowers say investigators from FBI headquarters were "in communication with FBI agents responsible for the Hunter Biden information targeted by Mr. Auten's assessment," and that their findings on whether the claims were in fact disinformation were placed "in a restricted access sub-file" in September 2020, according to Grassley, who added that the disclosures "appear to indicate that there was a scheme in place among certain FBI officials to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation."

Grassley summarized the new allegations in a Monday letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray.

The Examiner notes that FBI agent Auten was involved in the Trump-Russia investigation, including interviewing Christopher Steele's primary source, Igor Danchenko.

According to Grassley, the "volume and consistency" of the allegations regarding the handling of the Hunter Biden probe "substantiate their credibility."
The assessment by Auten in August 2020 was opened the same month Grassley and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) received a briefing from the FBI “that purportedly related to our Biden investigation and a briefing for which the contents were later leaked in order to paint the investigation in a false light,” Grassley said. The senator said Senate Democrats asked for a briefing in July 2020 “from the very same FBI HQ team that discredited the derogatory Hunter Biden information.”

The FBI inquiry into Hunter Biden reportedly began as a tax investigation, then expanded into a scrutiny of potential money-laundering and foreign lobbying; the DOJ has declined to hand over investigative details. -Washington Examiner
Thibault, the FBI agent who allegedly quashed the Hunter probe, may have violated the Hatch act in 2020 after making posts on social media which were critical of then-president Donald Trump and former AG William Barr.

Also notable - Hunter had the numbers of several FBI agents in his iCloud contacts.

Joe Biden, top Democrats, and virtually the entire mainstream media dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation when bombshell allegations from the New York Post emerged weeks before the 2020 election. In March 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a report claiming that figures tied to Russian intelligence promoted "misleading or unsubstantiated allegations" about Joe Biden.

"I've Delivered": New Disclosures Demolish President Biden's Denials On Hunter Dealings

THURSDAY, JUL 28, 2022 - 07:44 AM
Authored by Jonathan Turley,

New disclosures are demolishing the continued denials of President Biden that he had no knowledge and nothing to do with his son’s business interests. The emails (reviewed by Fox and The Daily Mail) include exchanges with at least 14 of Hunter Biden’s business associates while Joe Biden was vice president. They cast further doubt on the president’s repeated claims that he had no knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings. In one almost plaintive email, Hunter actually complains to an associate that he had delivered on everything that was demanded of him in getting access to his father and the White House.

President Biden and the White House continue to repeat his denial from the campaign trial in 2019:
“I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
These denials have continued even after an audiotape surfaced showing President Biden leaving a message for Hunter specifically discussing coverage of those dealings.

Some of us have written for two years that Biden’s denial of knowledge is patently false.
Indeed, it is baffling how Attorney General Garland can ignore the myriad of references to Joe Biden in refusing to appoint a special counsel.

There are emails of Ukrainian and other foreign clients thanking Hunter Biden for arranging meetings with his father.

There are photos from dinners and meetings that tie President Biden to these figures, including a 2015 dinner with a group of Hunter Biden’s Russian and Kazakh clients.

People apparently were told to avoid directly referring to President Biden. In one email, Tony Bobulinski, then a business partner of Hunter’s, was instructed by Biden associate James Gilliar not to speak of the former veep’s connection to any transactions:
“Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when u [sic] are face to face, I know u [sic] know that but they are paranoid.”
Instead, the emails apparently refer to President Biden with code names such as “Celtic” or “the big guy.” In one, “the big guy” is discussed as possibly receiving a 10 percent cut on a deal with a Chinese energy firm; other emails reportedly refer to Hunter Biden paying portions of his father’s expenses and taxes.

The new disclosures only add details to the the extent of his knowledge and involvement.
It appears that Biden met with at least 14 of Hunter’s business associates from the U.S., Mexico, Ukraine, China and Kazakhstan over the course of his vice presidency. That includes Hunter’s Mexican business associates, Miguel Aleman Velasco and Miguel Aleman Magnani who visited the West Wing on Feb. 26, 2014, and Joe was later photographed with Hunter giving Velasco and Magnani a tour of the White House Brady Press Briefing room.

Hunter is clearly eager to get photos as a deliverable for the visits. In one email in April 2014 to David Lienemann, Biden’s official photographer, Hunter asks “Do you have pictures from the lunch I had in dad’s office (I think on 2/26) with Miguel Alleman [sic] Sr. And Jr. And Jeff Cooper? If so let me know and I can send someone to pick them up. Thanks. How was Kiev?”

Other emails show Hunter using trips with his Dad to arrange meetings with business associates like Magnani. Indeed, in one exchange with Magnani, Hunter complains that he is not getting responses on his business dealings, objecting
“I have brought every single person you have ever asked me to bring to the F’ing White House and the Vice President’s house and the inauguration and then you go completely silent,. I don’t know what it is that I did but I’d like to know why I’ve delivered on every single thing you’ve ever asked – and you make me feel like I’ve done something to offend you.”
The cringeworthy email only adds to the embarrassment not of Hunter Biden but Merrick Garland who continues to refuse the obvious need for a special counsel. Indeed, the public could raise the objection raised by Hunter: what does it take?

Former AG Bill Barr To Merrick Garland: Appoint A Special Counsel Already

BY: MARGOT CLEVELAND

Will Merrick Garland show the same prudence as his predecessor and appoint a special counsel to investigate his boss’s family?

Author Margot Cleveland profile

MARGOT CLEVELAND

Recent developments warrant the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden, former Attorney General William Barr says.

ntervening events, especially recent reports about FBI whistleblowers and the possible reach of the investigation, warrant adding the protections of special counsel status to assure that key decisions are made independently without political ‘favor,’” Barr told The Federalist.

President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has been under federal investigation since 2018 for issues related to his foreign business practices, including obtaining investments and board positions from politically compromised figures in communist China and other trouble spots. Multiple U.S. attorney’s offices were tasked with components of the investigation, with the Delaware office being the lead. Hunter Biden’s problems became much more public with the news that he had left a laptop full of incriminating information at a computer repair store in Delaware. That news was then suppressed by Democrat-allied intelligence officials falsely claiming it was Russian disinformation.

This week, multiple FBI whistleblowers, including those in senior positions, accused FBI headquarters of “improperly discredit[ing] and falsely claim[ing] that derogatory information about Biden’s activities was disinformation, causing investigative activity and sourcing to be shut down,” according to a Monday letter from Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

That fact, as well as concern over the investigation’s complexity and scope, convinced the former attorney general of the need for a special counsel.

By highlighting the apparent breadth of the still-pending investigation into Hunter Biden’s affairs, Barr’s comments confirm concerns of three insiders, reported by The Federalist on Wednesday, that “the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office investigating Hunter Biden lacks the wherewithal and resources to adequately probe the dubious financial dealings of the Biden family and their business partners.”

Barr’s view that a special counsel is now warranted to continue the investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings represents a change from the position he took in December 2020.
During a December 21, 2020 press conference, when asked whether he agreed with Republicans that a special counsel was needed to handle the Biden investigation, Barr negated the idea. “I think it’s being handled responsibly and professionally currently within the department, and to this point I have seen no reason to appoint a special counsel, and I have no plan to do so before I leave,” the outgoing attorney general told reporters.

Barr’s reasoning at the time, according to those close to him, was that the Trump administration’s DOJ had no conflict, either real or apparent, in handling any investigation of Hunter Biden. And because the controlling standard for the appointment of a special counsel requires such a conflict, an appointment at the time would have been problematic.

Barr felt it would be up to the new attorney general to make the determination about conflict and how to satisfy any concerns over the DOJ’s independence, those close to Barr say.

For Barr to “preempt those decisions on the way out the door by appointing a special counsel to investigate the Biden family would have been a bad precedent and, as a practical matter, would have led the new AG to reverse the appointment as a political ploy,” said one former official. As such, the best way to assure the investigation would continue was by not appointing a special counsel then, the individual said.

Such reasoning runs consistent with the former attorney general’s steady efforts to return the Department of Justice to its proper apolitical role in our democratic republic and to restore the rule of law to our country.

Even with the new statement from Barr, he complimented Attorney General Merrick Garland for at least one part of how he’s handled the Hunter Biden investigation. “AG Garland made a good decision by keeping David Weiss in office,” Barr told the Federalist on Thursday, referring to the Republican U.S. attorney in Delaware supervising the investigation. Barr went on to say, however, that the “intervening events” including the bombshell whistleblower reports and potential scope of the investigation “warrant adding the protections of special counsel status” to make sure important determinations aren’t politically motivated.

In other words, circumstances have since changed, and Barr now believes a special counsel is warranted. So the question for Garland is: Will he show the same prudence and care for our country as his predecessor and appoint a special counsel to investigate his boss’s family?

The Federalist’s Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway contributed to this report.

FBI Likely Did ‘Intentionally Undermine’ a Congressional Probe on Hunter Biden: Senator

By Frank Fang
July 27, 2022 Updated: July 28, 2022

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) criticized the FBI on July 26, alleging that the bureau was “weaponized” against two U.S. senators when it arranged an intelligence briefing in August 2020.

Johnson’s criticism was based on new revelations that surfaced a day earlier, when Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) divulged that certain FBI officials had a “scheme” to wrongly label “derogatory information” on Hunter Biden as disinformation, based on what his office learned from “highly credible whistleblowers.”

By inaccurately labeling verified evidence as disinformation, FBI officials halted investigative activities related to Hunter Biden in 2020.

“If these recent whistleblower revelations are true, it would strongly suggest that the FBI’s August 6, 2020 briefing was indeed a targeted effort to intentionally undermine a Congressional investigation,” Johnson wrote in a letter (pdf) obtained by Just the News. The letter was sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

Epoch Times Photo Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) departs from the Senate Chambers in the U.S. Capitol in Washington on July 21, 2022. (Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images)

“If these whistleblower allegations are accurate, how can your agency, Director Wray, be capable of investigating the president’s son?” Johnson continued. “Unfortunately, the FBI can no longer be trusted to investigate Hunter Biden with integrity and the equal application of law.”

2020 Briefing
Johnson and Grassley were probing the Biden family’s financial transactions when they were asked to attend an FBI briefing on Aug. 6, 2020. According to Johnson, the briefing was “completely unnecessary” and “completely irrelevant” to their probe.

However, the contents of the briefing were leaked to media outlets, prompting Johnson and Grassley to question the motivation behind the briefing.

In his letter, Johnson concluded that the 2020 briefing was “a set up to intentionally discredit our ongoing work into Hunter Biden’s extensive foreign financial entanglements,” pointing to an article published by The Washington Post on May 1, 2021.

Grassley also raised concerns about the same Washington Post article in his letter (pdf) to Garland in June 2021.

“The Washington Post article inaccurately linked Russian attempts to spread disinformation to my and Senator Johnson’s investigation into the extensive financial connections between the Biden family and individuals connected to the communist Chinese government’s military and intelligence services,” Grassley wrote.

“Information relating to the [Aug. 6, 2020] briefing was also used by Democratic Senators last Congress to publicly malign us and our investigation for the purpose of slowing it down, painting it in a false public light, and undermining its integrity.”

Epoch Times Photo Senate Judiciary Ranking Member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) speaks at a hearing with the Senate Judiciary Committee in the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington on July 12, 2022. (Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images)

As such, Johnson said the FBI was “weaponized” against himself and Grassley, according to his letter.

“The FBI being weaponized against two sitting chairmen of U.S. Senate committees with constitutional oversight responsibilities would be one of the greatest episodes of Executive Branch corruption in American history,” Johnson wrote.

Johnson, former chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, is now the ranking member on the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Grassley, who was once chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, is now the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

On Sept. 23, 2020, about a month after the 2020 briefing, Grassley and Johnson released a report revealing that there was “potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh, and Chinese nationals,” while Joe Biden was vice president during the Obama administration.

The two senators have continued their probe into Hunter Biden. In March, they presented bank records on the Senate floor showing CEFC China Energy, a now-defunct company, made payments to Hunter Biden.

Request
Johnson concluded his letter by saying that the FBI and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence haven’t responded to his request for information on “the purpose of, and who ordered” the 2020 briefing, despite his effort for nearly two years. He said the two agencies’ refusal to be transparent “is deeply concerning.”

The senator from Wisconsin suggested that the Office of the Inspector General could conduct an “objective review” or appoint a special counsel to address his concerns.

Johnson also reiterated his concerns over conflicts of interests, including how Nicholas McQuaid, the principal deputy assistant attorney general for the Justice Department’s criminal division, was a fellow partner in a law firm with an attorney who has represented Hunter Biden.

Currently, the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware is investigating Hunter Biden for possible tax violations.

“Attorney General Garland, you have failed to provide Senator Grassley and me with assurances that any DOJ investigation into Hunter Biden’s potential criminal activity will be free of conflicts of interest,” Johnson wrote. “The American people should not have to tolerate your silence any longer.”

Department of Justice officials didn’t respond by press time to a request for comment.

Time for ANSWERS on US Money to Ukraine, Alleged Corruption | @Glenn Beck

Jul 28, 2022

BlazeTV

President Biden — and those in his cabinet — have Ukraine on the brain. In fact, far-left leaders have been ‘obsessed’ with Ukraine since the Obama years, Glenn explains. But back in 2014, Ukraine was considered to be a corrupt nation that needed our help rooting out the deceit (at least, that’s what they told us). But now, Congress continues to funnel hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars to Ukraine, with practically no oversight to how it’s being spent. Why are we writing them what seems to be a blank check? Is Ukraine still corrupt? Is President Zelenksyy an honest leader? It’s time for ANSWERS. In this clip, Glenn discusses all those questions, plus he’s joined by Rep. Spartz — who is from Ukraine — to give her thoughts as well.

Smoking Gun: Newly Discovered Emails Confirm Joe Biden Obstructed Justice for His Son’s Foreign Business Deal

by James D. Agresti
August 4, 2022

Overview
Newly discovered emails prove beyond all doubt that the “true purpose” of Hunter Biden’s lucrative deal with a Ukrainian energy company was for Hunter to get “high-ranking US officials” to visit Ukraine and persuade the nation’s leaders to “close down” all criminal “cases/pursuits against” the firm’s primary owner, a notoriously corrupt oligarch with ties to Russia.

Documentation of this illegal scheme begins with a widely overlooked email on Hunter’s laptop in which a top executive of the Ukrainian firm describes the plan. Now, emails uncovered by Just Facts prove that Hunter and his partners:
explicitly agreed to this deal.

concealed the names of top U.S. officials to “be on the safe and cautious side.”

affirmed that only Hunter could credibly promise to get those officials to shield the oligarch from criminal charges

Just one month later, then-Vice President Joe Biden did exactly what those emails specified by visiting Ukraine and threatening to withhold U.S. aid unless the prosecutor investigating Hunter’s cash cow was fired. Moreover, Biden did this by going after two “key targets” identified in the emails: the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General.”

The Background
In April 2014, Vice President Biden traveled to Ukraine and gave a speech to its legislators in which he promised that the U.S. would help Ukraine increase its fossil fuel production to make it less dependent on Russian energy. In that very same month:

the largest private natural gas producer in Ukraine, a company named Burisma, appointed Joe Biden’s son Robert “Hunter” Biden and his business partner to the company’s board.

the primary owner of the natural gas company—a corrupt oligarch named Nikolai Zlochevskyi who had financial and political ties to Russia—personally approved Hunter’s hiring.

Burisma began making a series of payments totaling at least $3.3 million over the next 18 months to a Delaware corporation, which paid $708,312.40 directly to Hunter and $2.5 million to entities associated with Hunter.

the oligarch’s London bank accounts were seized by British officials in a money laundering investigation

Nearly a year later in February 2015, the U.S. State Department and the FBI learned that Zlochevskyi allegedly bribed Ukrainian prosecutors to shut down criminal investigations of him. Thus, the government of Ukraine replaced the chief prosecutor with a new one who reopened investigations into the oligarch.

At this time, Burisma was paying $166,666.66 per month to the Delaware company that was paying Hunter.

Nikolai Zlochevskyi

The “Ultimate Purpose”
In November 2015, a top executive of Burisma named Vadym Pozharskyi wrote an email to Hunter and his partners in which he:

criticized a proposal they sent to him because it was “lacking concrete tangible results that we set out to achieve in the first place” and did not “offer any names of top US officials” or “Ukrainian officials” to help the company’s owner (“Nikolay”) improve “his situation in Ukraine.”

stated that if they left these names out of their proposal “to be on the safe and cautious side, I can understand the rationale.”

instructed them to “proceed immediately” with enlisting “high-ranking US officials” to “visit” Ukraine and persuade “the highest level of decision makers” to “close down” all “cases/pursuits against” the owner.

identified the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General” as two of the “key targets.”

repeatedly reminded them that closing down these cases was the “true purpose” and the “ultimate purpose” of their “engagement” with Burisma and “all our joint efforts.”

Despite the shocking nature of Burisma’s email, which was first revealed by Tucker Carlson of Fox News in October 2020, no other major news outlet has reported on it.

Just Facts, a research and educational institute, has now uncovered Hunter and his partners’ replies to that email among the 100,000+ emails on Hunter’s laptop. They show beyond all doubt that Hunter and his partners agreed to this deal, which Joe Biden followed to a tee.

“Hunter, You need to deliver that message.”

Immediately after the Burisma executive laid out what was expected of them, Hunter and his partners sent a flurry of emails stating that Hunter needed to tell Burisma that they understood the true purpose of the deal and “deliberately” concealed the names of the officials who would carry it out to “be on the safe and cautious side.” Hunter then emailed Burisma that they understood the job and could get it done.

Here are some of the key excerpts:

Eric Schwerin to Devon Archer and Hunter Biden (11/2/15): “I would tell Vadym that this is definitely done deliberately to the be on the safe and cautious side and that Sally and company understand the scope and deliverables.”

Devon Archer to Eric Schwerin and Hunter Biden (11/2/15): “Hunter, You need to deliver that message. I have walked this to the finish (aka starting) line but need some support to close.”

Eric Schwerin to Hunter Biden (11/2/15): “Do you want me to draft something for you to email to Vadym from you?”

Hunter Biden to Vadym Pozharskyi, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin (11/3/15): “Vadym– Let me have one final call with them and verify once more that they understand the scope so we can all feel that the retainer is in line with the work required.”

Vadym Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin (11/3/15): “Thank you Hunter! And of course, if you and Devon feel comfortable that they will deliver what in real terms we are talking about, we should disregard the wording of the scope and move further with signing and starting actual work.”

Hunter Biden to Vadym Pozharskyi, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin (11/5/15): “Vadym, Devon and I do feel comfortable with BS and the ability of Sally & Karen to deliver. You should go ahead and sign. Looking forward to getting started on this.”

In combination with the email from Burisma, these emails leave no doubt that Hunter promised to get “top US officials” to “visit” Ukraine and persuade the nation’s leaders to “close down” all criminal “cases/pursuits against” Burisma’s owner. Furthermore, the emails prove that two of their “key targets” were the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General.”

Joe Biden’s Actions

One month after the emails above were exchanged, Joe Biden did exactly what they specified.

In December 2015, Biden visited Ukraine and later recounted on video that he told Ukraine’s president and its prime minister on that trip that he would withhold a U.S. government “billion-dollar loan guarantee” unless they fired the “state prosecutor.” “If the prosecutor is not fired,” warned Biden, “you’re not getting the money.” Biden then added, “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.”

However, that firing did not happen right away, and two months later on February 2, 2016, the chief prosecutor secured a court order to seize some properties of the oligarch who was paying Hunter, including his land, houses, and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Just two weeks after the court’s seizure order, the president of Ukraine forced the prosecutor to resign. White House phone logs show that Joe Biden talked to the president of Ukraine at least three times in the week surrounding the firing. The phone log for the last of these calls states, “The Vice President also commended President Poroshenko’s decision to replace Prosecutor General Shokin, which paves the way for needed reform of the prosecutorial service.”

Contrary to Biden’s claim that the prosecutor stood in the way of reform, the president of Ukraine complimented the prosecutor for implementing reforms that his predecessors had “been opposing for decades” and then listed the specific reforms. The president then said that he only asked the prosecutor to resign because he “failed to gain society’s trust.”

Two months later in May 2016, Ukraine’s parliament approved the president’s appointee for a new chief prosecutor, who Biden described as “solid.” This new prosecutor, named Yuriy Lutsenko, was:

the best man of Petro Poroshenko, the president who appointed him.

sentenced to prison in 2012 for embezzlement and abuse of office.

convicted in a separate 2012 case for illegal surveillance.

pardoned by the previous president and released from jail in 2013.

was forced to resign by Volodymyr Zelensky (the current president of Ukraine) for failing to prosecute anyone of note during his three-year
Six months after Biden’s “solid” prosecutor was appointed, he dropped all criminal charges against the oligarch. The prosecutor also applauded the settlement as a “success” because the oligarch paid $7.46 million in back taxes and penalties. Far from being a prosecutorial victory, the oligarch praised these outcomes and stated that they would allow his corporation to increase production and “attract international companies to Ukraine.”

Two weeks later on November 16, 2016, Burisma made its last documented payment to Hunter. In addition to the recent closure of all criminal cases against the oligarch, Donald Trump had just won an upset victory in the U.S. presidential election. This left Joe Biden incapable of using U.S. taxpayer funds to influence Ukrainian officials.

Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s illicit business deals is also evidenced by a 2017 encrypted What’s App message uncovered by the New York Post. In it, one of Hunter’s business partners wrote to another partner while discussing Joe Biden, “Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when u are face to face, I know u know that but they are paranoid.”

The False Excuse
Joe Biden claimed that he pressured Ukrainian officials to fire the nation’s chief prosecutor because the prosecutor was “backsliding” on “corruption.” This excuse has been widely echoed by the media, who allege that the chief prosecutor was not even investigating the oligarch who was enriching Hunter.

Part 1 of 2

marsh

On TB every waking moment
Part 2 of 2

Those claims are belied by the facts that the:

the Prosecutor General’s Office obtained a court order to seize property of the oligarch, including his land, houses, and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Burisma’s email to Hunter and his partners specifically identified the “Prosecutor General” as one of the “key targets” that “top US officials” should convince to “close down” all “cases/pursuits against” the oligarch.

the Prosecutor General, whose name was Viktor Shokin, signed a sworn affidavit stating:

“The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors.”

The president of Ukraine “was emphatic that I should cease my investigations regarding Burisma. When I did not, he said that the US (via Biden) were refusing to release the USD $1 billion promised to Ukraine. He said that he had no choice, therefore, but to ask me to resign.”

the new Prosecutor General, who Biden praised as “solid,” did not prosecute anyone of note during his three-year

One of the more outlandish falsehoods about this affair comes from the Washington Post’s lead “Fact Checker,” Glenn Kessler. As alleged evidence that Prosecutor Shokin “was not investigating” the oligarch who was paying Hunter, Kessler claims:

In September 2015, then-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt publicly criticized Shokin’s office for thwarting a British money-laundering probe into Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky.

In reality, the U.S. ambassador was not criticizing Shokin but his predecessor, Vitaliy Yarema. This is proven by the fact that the British money laundering probe cited by the ambassador ended on January 21, 2015, and Shokin was not appointed chief prosecutor until the next month in February 2015.

The London Guardian, the Financial Times, and the New York Times all reported that the probe ended in January, raising the question of how Kessler could honestly botch this fact.

In a related article, Kessler scales up the rhetoric and claims that the ambassador “blasted Shokin for ‘openly and aggressively undermining reform’ and having ‘undermined prosecutors working on legitimate corruption cases’.” However, the ambassador stated that “corrupt actors within the Prosecutor General’s office” did this, not Shokin.

Furthermore, in the very same speech that Kessler misquoted twice, the ambassador began speaking about the present and said, “We want to work with Prosecutor General Shokin” and help him lead “the fight against corruption.” This further demonstrates that the ambassador was not castigating Shokin and wanted to partner with him.

Twitter, in turn, invoked Kessler’s bogus fact check to insist that the “prosecutor was not investigating Burisma at that time.”

Like Kessler, articles by CNN and Bloomberg take the ambassador’s words out of context to make it seem like he was lambasting Shokin instead of his predecessor.

In contrast to those false reports—court records, first-hand sworn testimony, and a smoking gun email from Burisma show that Shokin was aggressively pursuing the oligarch when Joe Biden forced his firing.

Keeping People in the Dark
Beyond denying the fact that the prosecutor was cracking down on Hunter’s cash cow, a wide array of journalists, government officials, and big tech executives kept the public in the dark about this and related matters. This was especially the case just before the 2020 presidential election.

Just a few of the many examples include the following:

In July 2021, Politico reported that the Department of Justice (DOJ) delayed an investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop “to avoid taking any actions that could alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election.”

In October 2020, Twitter locked the New York Post’s account for reporting on Hunter’s laptop and pinned a post to the top of Twitter’s home page claiming that Joe Biden “played no role in pressuring Ukraine officials into firing the prosecutor,” a statement flatly disproven by the words of Biden himself.

Multiple whistleblowers within the FBI have stated that officials in the FBI and DOJ used a deceitful assessment of Hunter’s laptop to “improperly discredit and falsely claim that derogatory information about Biden’s activities was disinformation, causing investigative activity and sourcing to be shut down.”

In October 2020, NPR managing editor Terence Samuels Public Editor wrote that NPR is not reporting on the NY Post’s expose of Hunter Biden’s laptop because “we don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.”

In October 2020, Facebook executive Andy Stone wrote, “While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform.”

In October 2020, a group of former government intelligence officials led by James Clapper (Obama’s Director of National Intelligence) alleged without evidence that the contents of Hunter’s laptop could be or definitely are Russian “information,” while admitting that “we do not have evidence of Russian involvement—just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.”

Major media outlets and so-called fact checkers widely parroted that baseless claim while changing the phrase “Russian information” to “Russian disinformation” and failing to report that:

the same group of Obama officials who made that accusation also alleged that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 election, a charge disproven by a 2-year, $32 million investigation by an independent counsel which “did not establish” or “identify evidence” that the “Trump Campaign” or “any U.S. persons” “conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

the DOJ Inspector General (an Obama appointee) “identified at least 17 significant errors or omissions” in warrant applications that Obama’s officials used to surveil the Trump campaign and added that he “did not receive satisfactory explanations” for these misleading warrant applications.

In October 2020, Leslie Stahl of CBS’s 60 Minutes insisted that the contents of Hunter’s laptop “can’t be verified,” even though 60 Minutes brags that it conducts “hard-hitting investigative” journalism. Demonstrating the absurdity of that claim:

the recipient of one of the most incriminating emails on the laptop verified that same month that he was “the recipient of the email” and the “email is genuine.”

the NY Post pointed out that they published an array of pictures and emails from the laptop with “an extraordinary level of detail” that supports their authenticity, such as a picture of Hunter in a bathtub and a picture of a Biden family meal, along with emails to friends and family all bearing dates and times.

the New York Times slipped this statement about Hunter’s laptop into the 24th paragraph of an article published 18 months after the 2020 election: “The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”

CNN reported 18 months after the 2020 election, “We know the FBI has possession” of Hunter’s laptop, and “they believe it is his laptop—that the contents of it are his.”

the Washington Examiner commissioned a forensic examination of Hunter Biden’s hard drive which found its contents are “indisputably authentic, and there is no evidence of any hacking or file manipulation, according to an examination conducted by a former Secret Service agent who has testified as a cyberforensics expert in over 100 classified, criminal, and civil matters at the state, federal, and international levels.

This tidal wave of misinformation and censorship by media outlets, government officials, and big tech significantly boosted Joe Biden’s odds of winning the presidency. The effect was estimated by a November 2020 online survey of Biden voters in swing states commissioned by the Media Research Center and conducted by the Polling Company. It found that 45% of Biden voters “were unaware of the financial scandal enveloping Biden and his son” and that:

full awareness of the Hunter Biden scandal would have led 9.4% of Biden voters to abandon the Democratic candidate, flipping all six of the swing states he won to Trump, giving the President 311 electoral votes.

Summary
The emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop, combined with Joe Biden’s own words and actions, prove beyond all doubt that:

The “ultimate purpose” of Hunter Biden’s multi-million deal with Burisma was to “close down” all criminal “cases/pursuits against” the firm’s owner.

In November 2015, Hunter agreed to get “high-ranking US officials” to visit Ukraine and persuade the nation’s leaders to end all investigations into the owner. Two “key targets” of this mission were the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General.”

In December 2015, Joe Biden visited Ukraine and told its president and prime minister that he would withhold U.S. aid to their nation unless they fired the prosecutor general.

Those actions, which are complemented by a wealth of incriminating facts, align with textbook definitions of nepotism, bribery, extortion, and obstruction of justice.

Yet, major media outlets, big tech companies, fact checkers, former U.S. intelligence officials, and active government officials within the FBI and Department of Justice played major roles in keeping this information from the American people.

Joe Biden met Chinese energy execs with ties to Hunter at White House in 2014

FBI, Director Wray are in for a rude wake-up call over Hunter Biden investigation
Joe Biden hosted a White House meeting with two Chinese energy executives with ties to his son Hunter back when he was vice president in 2014, records show.

The president, who still insists he never spoke to Hunter about his son’s overseas business dealings, met the two executives from Wanxiang — a major Chinese company — in the West Wing on July 25, 2014, according to White House visitor logs.

Wanxiang America president, Pin Ni, and Wanxiang Resources Co. president, Youhong Han, were at the White House for just over an hour — after the last-minute meeting was scheduled a day earlier, the records, first reported by the Daily Mail, show.

A client of Hunter’s Seneca Global Advisors company, GreatPoint Energy, had previously partnered with Wanxiang in 2012 for a $1.25 billion natural gas plant in China.

Hunter was also linked to the Chinese company via his investment in the Fisker car business, which was bought by Wanxiang in February 2014. Biden’s son had previously purchased one of Fisker’s electric sports cars for more than $100,000.

The investigation into Hunter Biden has been criticized for being biased and lengthy.

Four days after the Chinese businessmen met with Biden, one of the executives reportedly sent a gushing email to Hunter regarding his sports car.

“Last Friday when we visited D.C., I heard that your Fisker is out of order and could not get serviced. Sorry,” Ni wrote in the email. “It would be our honor to get your Fisker fixed… I would like to give you a call to see what we could do as next step.”

He added, “It would be our great honor to welcome you to visit Fisker or Wanxiang at any time.”

The meeting with the Chinese execs is just the latest in a long list of Hunter’s foreign associates who had met with Biden during his time as vice president, according to records and details found on the first son’s infamous abandoned laptop.

FBI Director Wray admits alleged bias in Hunter Biden probe ‘deeply troubling’
One of Hunter’s closest business partners, Eric Schwerin, made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations between 2009 and 2015 — including a sit down in the West Wing, records show.

Biden also met with Hunter’s business partners overseas — including in China in 2013 when he flew with his son to Beijing aboard Air Force Two for an official vice-presidential visit with the newly elevated President Xi Jinping.

Hunter’s dealings, which Biden continues to deny any knowledge of, are almost certainly part of the ongoing Justice Department probe into the first son, which has reportedly reached a “critical stage.”

Biden, who has been accused of going soft on Beijing amid his son’s ongoing scandals, and his refusal to discuss his business dealings, is facing mounting calls from Republicans to be included in a conspiracy probe as evidence continues to grow that he was aware of Hunter’s dealings — including in China.

In addition to meeting Hunter’s associates, Biden was identified as a recipient of a 10% equity stake in a company created for a joint venture with Chinese conglomerate, CEFC. He was referred to in emails as “the big guy,” according to ex-Hunter associates.

Republican lawmakers have since vowed to hold congressional hearings after it emerged last month that Biden had left a voicemail for his son in 2018 to discuss a New York Times article detailing Hunter’s dealings with a Chinese oil tycoon accused of economic crimes — telling him, “I think you’re clear.”

FBI Leadership Ordered Agents Not To Investigate Hunter Biden Laptop: Whistleblowers

THURSDAY, AUG 25, 2022 - 10:05 AM
FBI leadership ordered agents not to investigate Hunter Biden's laptop shortly before the 2020 US election so that it wouldn't damage Joe Biden's chances of unseating Donald Trump, several whistleblowers have told Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).

A letter from Johnson to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz asking for an investigation reads in part: "After the FBI obtained the Hunter Biden laptop from the Wilmington, Del. computer shop, these whistleblowers stated that local FBI leadership told employees, "you will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop' and that the FBI is 'not going to change the outcome of the election again," according to the Daily Mail, which has obtained the letter.

"While I understand your hesitation to investigate a matter that may be related to an ongoing investigation, it is clear to me based on numerous credible whistleblower disclosures that the FBI cannot be trusted with the handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop," the letter continues. "I hope you understand that the longer your office stands on the sidelines and delays investigating the FBI’s actions, the harder it will be for you to uncover the truth and hold individuals accountable for wrongdoing"

Horowitz previously told Johnson in Feb 2021 that he would not investigate the FBI's handling of the laptop in order to avoid interfering with a DOJ investigation into Hunter's tax matters.

The new claims come after whistleblower allegations emerged in July that in the lead-up to the 2020 election the FBI labeled the laptop as 'disinformation.'

In October 2020, one month before the election, 'an avenue of derogatory Hunter Biden reporting was ordered closed' by Timothy Thibault,
a senior FBI agent at the bureau's Washington Field office, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who fielded the whistleblower complaints, claimed in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Thibault shut down the investigation despite evidence that some of the details were true, according to that whistleblower. -Daily Mail

"Allegations provided to my office appear to indicate that there was a scheme in place among certain FBI officials to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation," wrote Sen. Grassley.

The letter comes on the heels of testimony earlier this month by FBI director Christopher Wray, who said he found allegations that the agency mishandled the laptop to be "deeply troubling." It also comes as the DOJ probe in Delaware has reportedly intensified in recent weeks, with officials weighing whether to bring taxes on Hunter over tax violations or lying on a federal form while purchasing a gun - which he would have been prohibited from doing at the time due to his well-documented issues with drug addiction.

FBI Ignored 'Eyewitness Testimony' Of Joe Biden’s Involvement In Son’s China Deal: Senator

TUESDAY, SEP 06, 2022 - 06:40 PM
Authored by Jack Phillips via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours),

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) said that the FBI ignored eyewitness testimony regarding President Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s dealings with a Chinese conglomerate about a month before the 2020 election.

The former Senate Homeland Security Committee chairman told the New York Post that “suppression and censoring of his testimony and Hunter’s influence peddling impacted the 2020 election” far worse than anything China or Russia could have achieved.

About a month before the November 2020 election, a former associate of Hunter Biden, Tony Bobulinksi, told media outlets that Joe Biden was involved with his son’s and brother Jim Biden’s dealings with CEFC, a Chinese Communist Party-linked energy conglomerate. Bobulinksi confirmed the authenticity of emails sourced from the younger Biden’s laptop hard drive that referred to Joe Biden as “the big guy” due to a 10 percent cut in the new corporate organization.

“Unfortunately, Tony Bobulinski’s first-hand eyewitness testimony regarding President Biden’s knowledge of Hunter Biden’s compromising web of foreign financial entanglements, especially with the Chinese, was not only ignored by the media, but also by the FBI,” Johnson said this week, referring to the 2020 claims.

The Epoch Times reached out to the FBI for comment.

Senate Report
Johnson along with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who has long investigated Hunter Biden, published a lengthy report on the Bidens’ business dealings in September 2020 (pdf), which raised questions about the younger Biden’s reportedly lucrative position at Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings while his father was vice president and took a leading role in handling the Obama administration’s relations with Ukraine.

The senator’s comment came in response to reports alleging that former FBI special agent Timothy Thibault, who departed the bureau last month, hid intelligence that was provided by Bobulinski.

Thibault was named several times by Grassley and Johnson in letters to the FBI and claimed the former agent displayed an animus toward former President Donald Trump.

Whistleblowers from within the bureau told Grassley that the FBI had obtained information in 2020 about “criminal financial and related activity” on behalf of Hunter Biden, according to one of the senator’s letters (pdf), dated July 25, which was then allegedly suppressed by Thibault.

House Democrats Take Ownership Of Hunter: Committee Votes Down Inquiry Into Influence Peddling

WEDNESDAY, SEP 21, 2022 - 02:00 PM
Authored by Jonathan Turley,

House Democrats on the Oversight Committee took a vote on Tuesday that could come back to haunt them.

All of the 23 Democrats voted not to inquire into the influence peddling scheme of Hunter Biden and the Biden family. Rep. James Comer (R-KY) proposed a “resolution of inquiry” in light of growing evidence of not just a possible multimillion dollar influence peddling operation by Hunter and his uncle, but the knowledge of his father, President Joe Biden.

At a minimum, it appears that President Biden’s repeated public denials of any knowledge of these dealings is false. Yet, the Democrats blocked any inquiry into the corruption. If Republicans take the House as expected in the midterms, the Democrats now effectively took ownership of Hunter — a political proprietary claim that few would relish. The vote comes after 33 senators asked Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel in the matter, a call that I have repeatedly made in prior columns for over two years. The letter is below.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney, the chairwoman of the House Oversight Committee, called the resolution a “nakedly partisan effort” and accused Republicans of being “obsessed” with Hunter Biden. The vote, however, reveals a blind avoidance by Democrats of a corrupt scheme that brought in millions for the Biden family and may have benefitted the President himself.

Even if no criminal acts are charged, the foreign dealings of Hunter and his uncle were clearly corrupt and leveraged access to Joe Biden to acquire windfall payments from governments and their surrogates. There is no good faith basis to refuse to investigate such a scheme designed to influence U.S. policy and policymakers. Why wouldn’t the Congress want to know if there was a multimillion dollar influence peddling scheme reaching the very top of our government, including allegations of the involvement of foreign intelligence figures?

The vote, however, does bring a modicum of clarity at long last. The House Democrats are now on record as actively blocking efforts to investigate this massive influence peddling scheme. The implications of that vote will likely become more clear if the House switches hands after the midterm elections.

The Democratic members are not alone in such a reckoning. The mainstream media has been clearly moving to re-position itself in anticipation of possible criminal charges after years of blocking or downplaying the story.

I previously wrote a column on the one year anniversary of the Hunter Biden laptop story that marveled at the success of the Biden family in making the scandal vanish before that 2020 election. It was analogized to Houdini making his 10,000-pound elephant Jennie disappear in his act. With the help of the media, the Biden trick occurred live before an audience of millions.

The problem is the public can now see the elephant.

That is why the media is now recalibrating. Yet, the Democratic members have decided to go “all in” with the original delusion. They are still going to deny that there is any elephant on the stage as it trumpets in their ears with almost weekly disclosures of foreign influence and deals pursued through Hunter and his family.

Key congressman says Hunter Biden was 'operative for foreign influence,' belongs in jail

California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa alleges "free pass" for president's son on tax evasion, signals GOP probe of undisclosed lobbying for foreign clients.

By Charlotte Hazard
Updated: September 21, 2022 - 11:14pm

Alleging that Hunter Biden "clearly" acted as "an operative for foreign influence" who failed to disclose foreign earnings and clients, an influential congressman is questioning why it has taken four years to decide whether to prosecute President Joe Biden's son.

"It's surprising that he didn't go to jail," California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa said Monday on the "Just the News, Not Noise" TV show.

Before the 2020 presidential election, damaging revelations from Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop began surfacing in independent media outlets, leading to allegations of wide-ranging misconduct by the president's son, including alleged tax evasion, money laundering, business dealings with entities tied to China's ruling communist regime, undisclosed lobbying for foreign clients and trading on his father's name and foreign policy clout to secure overseas business.

Establishment media outlets and major social media platforms attempted to ignore, censor or discredit the laptop story during the 2020 campaign, while, according to recent whistleblower reports, the FBI's Washington Field Office sought to block criminal investigation of the allegations. Mainstream legacy outlets like the New York Times and Washington Post belatedly acknowledged the authenticity of the laptop long after the 2020 election was decided.

"[W]hen you deliberately don't disclose income — even in the thousands of dollars, much less the millions of dollars — that's a crime," said Issa. "It's a felony. And usually, at best, you get to pay compensation and plead to a crime in lieu of maybe going to jail. That's not the case [with Hunter Biden]. He appears as though he's getting a free pass, and just paying now what he should have paid years ago.

"And the reality is, the laptop also reveals that this was a man making millions but always in financial trouble ... [with] ex-wife payments, child support payments and, quite frankly, his drug addiction."

If Republicans gain a majority in the House in the midterm elections, one of the issues surrounding Hunter Biden they will look at, Issa revealed, is whether the president's son benefited from selective enforcement of the 1938 Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

Obscure and rarely enforced with criminal penalties over the last half-century, the measure was weaponized during the Trump administration by a politically biased Department of Justice, according to Issa and other critics, to target Trump associates such as Paul Manafort and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn in an effort to extract incriminating testimony against Trump.

"Hunter Biden was an operative for foreign influence, and did use or at least appears to have used his father and others for that game," the California Republican continued. "Meaning he lobbied, and when you lobby and you don't disclose that, you've committed a crime. So one of the things we're going to look at is this selective prosecution and whether this law needs to either be scrapped or real teeth to be put into it so that it's consistent in prosecution. Which unless they prosecute Hunter Biden, certainly it wasn't."

In a "60 Minutes" interview Sunday night, Joe Biden was asked if he thought his son's foreign business dealings created a conflict of interest.

"There's not a single thing that I've observed at all that would affect me or the United States relative to my son Hunter," the president replied.

"I love my son, number one," Biden later said. "He fought an addiction problem, he overcame it, he wrote about it."

Hunter Biden's attorney has not responded for comment.

HUGE: GOP Lawmaker Obtains New Documents that Show Joe and Hunter Biden Working to Sell US Natural Gas and Drilling Assets to China – HAS WHISTLEBLOWERS WHO WILL TESTIFY (VIDEO)

By Jim Hoft
Published September 22, 2022 at 7:10pm

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) went on with John Solomon from Just the News on RAV on Thursday.

Rep. Comer recently obtained new documents that show Hunter and Joe Biden were working to sell American natural gas and drilling assets to Communist China.

The sale would have allowed China to take control of our natural gas industry through the deal.

The documents show Hunter was working with the Chinese to get keys to an office in DC for himself, Jim Biden, Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden.

But there’s more… Representative Comer says he has two new whistleblowers that worked with Hunter and they are ready to expose it all when the Republicans take control of Congress.

Rep. James Comer: I have two whistleblowers. And I am confident they are going to come through in a Republican majority when I conduct the hearings and I have the gavel for oversight. To tell us in detail what their objectives were. And these people were associated with Hunter Biden. And the ultimate goal and the Bidens knew it was for China to start taking ownership in all the different parts in the natural gas industry in the United States… They actually take control of the drillers.

Where did Hunter Biden get all that money?

Newly released footage shows Hunter Biden entertaining prostitutes at a Malibu resort.

But this isn’t your ordinary resort.
This resort is for the rich and powerful: it costs $4,140 per night!

So in addition to the questionable acts of entertaining multiple prostitutes, Hunter Biden did so at one of the most expensive places possible.

Now… we don’t want to make any low blows in regards to his cocaine addiction.

But it does raise the question: Where did Hunter Biden get all that money?
And why doesn’t the media seem to care?

Imagine if Don Jr. or Eric Trump were caught with prostitutes… just 1… don’t you think it would be all over the news?

Yet no one in the mainstream media is touching this revealing story.

If we had a fair and honest press, odds are that this would have been reported to the public before the election.

After all, all this footage comes from the laptop from hell.
So what took so long for this footage to come out?
And what exactly is included?

According to the Daily Mail:

New photos and videos show Hunter Biden’s wild and debauched parties at a luxury Malibu AirBnB.

In the videos Hunter is seen riding across the lawn on a bicycle, stripping naked and sliding down a waterslide into the $4,140-per-night property’s pool.

Other pictures show him having group sex and entertaining hookers in his luxury rental’s hot tub in 2018.

The videos were stored on Hunter’s abandoned laptop and obtained by DailyMail.com.

This comes as President Biden spoke highly of Hunter and praised him for overcoming drug addiction in an interview aired Sunday night.

‘I love my son, number one,’ Biden said when asked about whether Hunter’s work or past struggles could be a liability on the 2024 campaign trail. ‘He fought an addiction problem and he overcame it, he wrote about it.

‘And no, there is not a single thing that I’ve observed, at all, that would affect me or the United States relative to my son Hunter.’

But it gets worse than raunchy behavior.

Hunter Biden may have played a role in his father’s business and political dealings overseas.

If this is the case, then he belongs in jail, at least, according to one key congressman.

While the DOJ and the FBI investigate Trump and his family, they fail to question the person currently sitting in the Oval Office.

Why are they concerned about a FORMER president… rather than the current one?

Just the News confirms that a California Congressman says Hunter should be in jail:

Alleging that Hunter Biden “clearly” acted as “an operative for foreign influence” who failed to disclose foreign earnings and clients, an influential congressman is questioning why it has taken four years to decide whether to prosecute President Joe Biden’s son.

“It’s surprising that he didn’t go to jail,” California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa said Monday on the “Just the News, Not Noise” TV show.

Before the 2020 presidential election, damaging revelations from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop began surfacing in independent media outlets, leading to allegations of wide-ranging misconduct by the president’s son, including alleged tax evasion, money laundering, business dealings with entities tied to China’s ruling communist regime, undisclosed lobbying for foreign clients and trading on his father’s name and foreign policy clout to secure overseas business.

Establishment media outlets and major social media platforms attempted to ignore, censor or discredit the laptop story during the 2020 campaign, while, according to recent whistleblower reports, the FBI’s Washington Field Office sought to block criminal investigation of the allegations.

Mainstream legacy outlets like the New York Times and Washington Post belatedly acknowledged the authenticity of the laptop long after the 2020 election was decided.

“[W]hen you deliberately don’t disclose income — even in the thousands of dollars, much less the millions of dollars — that’s a crime,” said Issa.

“It’s a felony. And usually, at best, you get to pay compensation and plead to a crime in lieu of maybe going to jail. That’s not the case [with Hunter Biden]. He appears as though he’s getting a free pass, and just paying now what he should have paid years ago.

Again, all you have to do is ask yourself:

If this was one of Trump’s children, how would the media cover it?
How would the DOJ and the FBI handle it?

By answering those questions, the double standard should become apparent.

Congress secures first Hunter Biden whistleblowers as memos unmask lucrative gas deals with China

Internal company memos show Hunter Biden effort to score American LNG ports, gas deals, and drilling ventures for Beijing.

President Joe Biden boasts proudly today he is leading an "incredible transition" from fossil fuels, but just three years before he won the presidency his family worked to score billions of dollars in deals helping executives in communist China gain access to U.S. natural gas, oil and energy infrastructure, according to internal business memos and interviews with congressional investigators.

Memos obtained by Just the News from the Hudson West III LLC partnership that presidential son Hunter Biden operated with a prominent Chinese business executive named Gongwen Dong show the Biden family pursued at least 21 major deals in 2017 and 2018 for Chinese interests seeking U.S. energy assets, including liquified natural gas export terminals, LNG trade deals, drilling exploration firms, pipelines and other key energy assets.

Many of the deals targeted assets in the oil-rich Gulf Coast, including Louisiana, and aimed to help an energy-hungry China gain access to U.S. oil and gas, according to a summary memo of the 21 deals. Just the News found the memo on a Hunter Biden laptop turned over to the FBI in 2019 and corroborated its authenticity with a Biden business associate directly familiar with the deals and memos.

"Discussed both oil and LNG trading/exporting opportunities," one memo sent to Hunter Biden read. "Our team was more interested in pursuing the LNG spread trading opportunities, due to the timing of upcoming winter peak usage season and the spiking natural gas price in China."

That LNG deal and others like it never went forward, but Hunter Biden's team chose to pivot in 2018 to other oil and gas deals, ranging from pipelines to drilling assets, the memo shows.

"Explore U.S. natural gas industry midstream investment opportunities (including natural gas pipeline projects with international and U.S.-based financial institutions)," the memo recommended as one of the 2018 opportunities.

Another goal, the memo stated: "Explore potential investment opportunities in the petrochemical and energy production space."

The Hudson West III opportunities memo stated it was seeking to acquire interests in some drilling and exploration companies, like Noble Energy's parent firm, that had fallen on hard times when oil and gas prices plummeted during the Trump administration. "Explore potential investment opportunity in distressed international energy company affiliates (for example, the Noble Group and affiliates)," the memo read.

The Hunter Biden-connected firm also dabbled with the notion of getting better prices by targeting minority-owned energy firms that got preferential treatment in some markets. The "model involves the support and nurturing of minority business and commodity brokers" and the benefit would be to "gain further discount and better service terms from its oil major partners," the strategy memo stated.

According to evidence released by Republican Sens. Charles Grassley and Ron Johnson and Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), Hudson West III's goal was to find deals to benefit its primary partner in Beijing, CEFC, the Chinese energy giant led by Chinese businessman Ye Jianming, whom Hunter Biden met back in 2015.

The size of some of the deals Hudson West III sought were massive, ranging from $800 million to as large as $2.8 billion, one internal company memo stated.

Comer, the top Republican on the House Oversight Committee and its likely chairman next year if the GOP wins control of Congress, told Just the News on Thursday night that he has secured cooperation from at least two of Hunter Biden's former business associates, who have authenticated that Hunter Biden's strategy was to help China secure U.S. oil and gas interests.

"What we know is that Hunter Biden's company Hudson West III was negotiating a deal with the Chinese energy company CEFC to not only purchase American natural gas, but also to try to start purchasing interest in American drillers for natural gas so they can start to take control of the American natural gas industry through the drillers," the congressman said in an interview with the "Just the News, Not Noise" television show.

"We have two whistleblowers," he added. "And I'm confident they're going to come forward in a Republican majority when I can conduct hearings, and I have the gavel for oversight, to tell us in detail what their objectives were. And these people were associates of Hunter Biden. And the ultimate goal — and the Bidens knew this — was for China to start to take ownership in all the different parts of the natural gas industry in the United States."

Earlier this month, Comer wrote the Treasury Department asking for financial records related to Hunter Biden's dealings with the Chinese, disclosing to Secretary Janet Yellen that his staff obtained a detailed business plan in Mandarin — including maps of U.S. shale gas deposits — showing the president's son used Hudson West III to create a "plan to sell American natural gas reserves to China."

Chris Clark, a lawyer for Hunter Biden, did not immediately return a call or an email seeking comment.

But in a 2019 interview with the New Yorker magazine, Hunter Biden acknowledged he pursued several energy deals for CEFC after meeting Ye for dinner in 2015. He told the magazine Ye gave him a 2.8 carat diamond as a gift after the first encounter and that one of the first deals Biden pursued was for a Louisiana LNG terminal, the same one listed in the memos obtained by Just the News.

"I was more proud of it than you can imagine," Hunter Biden told the magazine three years ago.

None of the deals in the memos obtained by Just the News appear to have been consummated, but Hunter Biden and Hudson West III received $5 million in payments from Chinese entities tied to Ye and CEFC shortly after it was formed, according to the information previously made public by Grassley, Johnson and Comer.

Though no deals were struck, Hudson West III incorporation documents show Hunter Biden was to receive a one-time $500,000 retainer payment and monthly payments of $100,000 from the firm after it was capitalized while his uncle, presidential brother James Biden, was to get $65,000 a month. Hunter Biden took the title of "co-chairman," while his Chinese business partner Gongwen Dong took the title "president."

None of the Hudson West III memos reviewed by Just the News mention Joe Biden. But Comer revealed in the letter to Yellen that one of Hunter Biden's former business associates has told Congress that the president was directly involved in the China energy deal.

"According to additional information provided by a whistleblower, Joe Biden was involved with this arrangement as a business partner, and documents reveal he even had office space to work on the deal," Comer wrote Yellen on Tuesday.

Comer provided Treasury a copy of a fall 2017 email from Hunter Biden asking that keys be made for his new Hudson West III office in Washington D.C. for his father, stepmother, uncle and his Chinese business partner in the venture.
"Please have keys made available for new office mates: Joe Biden Jill Biden Jim Biden, Gongwen Dong (Chairman Ye CEFC emissary)," Hunter Biden wrote in the email to a colleague.

A legal billing document from one of Hudson West's law firms shows that both Hunter Biden and James Biden attended meetings with lawyers and oil and gas executives pursuing the deals mentioned in the company's strategy memo.

For instance, one entry in the billing records from late 2017 referred to discussions with "petroleum groups" and noted there was a "telephone call from Hunter Biden on the Hudson West members. Hunter and the Chairman of a chinese [sic] business are members."

Another entry for billable hours referred to "business advice for fuel brokrage [sic] deal" between Hudson West III, an energy firm and "Hunter and Jim Biden."

Biden Family Worked to Sell American Gas to China, GOP Lawmaker Says Citing Whistleblower

By Eva Fu and Frank Fang September 21, 2022 Updated: September 23,

The Biden family was selling U.S natural gas to China long before Joe Biden became president, who was aware of how his son Hunter Biden was making the sale possible, according to Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, citing documents and information provided by a whistleblower.

Hunter Biden had a Chinese Communist Party member as his assistant while dealing with the Chinese side for the shipping of American natural gas to China in 2017, and the Biden family was promising business associates that they would reap rewards once Biden became president, said Comer in a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen dated Sept. 20.

“The President has not only misled the American public about his past foreign business transactions, but he also failed to disclose that he played a critical role in arranging a business deal to sell American natural resources to the Chinese while planning to run for President,” Comer wrote.

Joe Biden, Comer said, was a business partner in the arrangement and had office space to work on the deal, and a firm he managed received millions from his Chinese partners ahead of the anticipated venture.

While part of what Comer stated had previously been reported in the news, the letter, citing whistleblower testimonies, as well as emails, a corporate PowerPoint presentation, screenshot of encrypted messages, and bank documents that committee Republicans obtained, provides a more complete picture suggesting Biden’s knowledge and involvement in the plan from at least 2017.

From 2017 to 2021, the Bidens promised business associates that Joe Biden would run for president in 2020 and those who worked with them from 2017 onward would “reap the rewards in a future Biden administration,” according to Comer’s recount of a whistleblower testimony to Oversight Committee Republicans.

“As America now struggles in an energy crisis, it is critical to understand why the Biden family was selling American energy reserves to the Chinese, if that is affecting President Biden’s decision making today, and why President Biden has never disclosed his relationship with the Chinese to the American public,” Comer wrote to Yellen.

“If President Biden has worked to enrich not only himself but his family by promising, in exchange for millions of dollars, access or policy influence in a future Biden Administration, Congress and the American people are entitled to that information.”

‘Good for Both the United States and China’
Emails attached in the letter show that Hunter Biden was actively facilitating the natural gas deal with top executives from the now-defunct CEFC China Energy, at the time one of the largest energy firms in China.

In a November 2017 email to CEFC executive Dong Gongwen, Hunter told his partner he had sent information regarding liquified natural gas opportunities in Louisiana.

“We began to investigate the opportunities in United States well before the public announcement by the Chinese government of its interest in Natural Gas imports from around the world,” Hunter wrote. He offered the prospect of contracts for large quantities of liquified natural gas “at very competitive rates” in the short term, as well as the possibility of acquisition or partnership in a promising natural gas project in Louisiana that would advance CEFC’s long term goals.

“The proposal I have shared with you has the added benefit of being good for both the United States and China simultaneously,” he added.

According to the letter, Hunter’s Chinese assistant, Bao Jiaqi, who previously worked as the research assistant at China’s macroeconomic management agency National Development and Reform Commission, sent him a detailed presentation containing political and topography maps, along with Chinese annotations, carving up America based on natural gas reserves. The 30-page presentation made particular emphasis on Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Wyoming.

The emails that accompanied the slides revealed a plan to advance a natural gas sale to China through Hudson West III LLC, a company set up by Hunter and CEFC officials, according to the letter.

Joe Biden’s Alleged Role
By one whistleblower’s account, Joe Biden was an “obfuscated partner” in the transactions with the Chinese, and his son would hold 10 percent of the joint venture to hide his involvement, according to Comer’s letter. The same information was previously confirmed by former business associate Tony Bobulinski to The Epoch Times.

“Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when [you] are face to face, I know [you] know that but they are paranoid,” an associate for Hunter told another partner on May 20, 2017, in a WhatsApp conversation, a screenshot of which was attached in the letter.

“Ok they should be paranoid about things,” the other replied.

In what Comer speculated to be a “mistake” on Hunter’s part, Hunter wrote in a September 2017 email requesting to “have keys made available for new office mates,” who he identified to be the senior Biden, Jill Biden, and the President’s brother, Jim. Hunter gave his father and uncle’s personal cell phone number in case the recipient needed to call for confirmation.

Cecilia Browning, the general manager of the office building, responded the same day to Hunter’s request. “We are very excited and honored to welcome your new colleagues!” she wrote, according to a copy of the email from Hunter’s alleged laptop.

The White House has maintained that Hunter and the president “were not office mates.” The senior Biden has said that he’s never discussed Hunter’s business with his son. The Epoch Times has reached out to the White House and Hunter’s lawyer for additional comment regarding Comer’s letter.

During a recent interview on “60 Minutes,” the president was asked if Hunter’s dealings have caused conflicts for him or the United States. The senior Biden answered in the negative.

“There’s not a single thing that I’ve observed at all that would affect me or the United States relative to my son Hunter,” he said.

Democrats, on the same day Comer sent out the letter, voted down a resolution the Republican lawmaker proposed to have the president hand over documents relating to the Biden family’s foreign business dealings.
