Hunter Biden memos call into question congressional testimony of Democrat lobbying firm

Emails state Hunter Biden met, strategized with Blue Star Strategies executives who claimed they had no contact.

By Seamus Bruner and John Solomon
Updated: July 5, 2021 - 10:28pm

Hunter Biden memos on a laptop recovered by the FBI directly conflict with the congressional testimony of two key executives at a Democrat-connected firm who asserted they did not deal with the current president's son while working for a Ukrainian energy firm where the younger Biden served on the board.

The questions about the testimony from Blue Star Strategies officials comes as the Justice Department is reportedly investigating whether the firm violated the Foreign Agent Registration Act with its work contacting federal officials on behalf of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings.

Blue Star, a lobbying and strategy firm with deep Democrat connections dating to the Bill Clinton era, was hired in late 2015 by Burisma in an effort to improve its image and fight corruption allegations the Ukrainian firm had been facing since early 2014 when Hunter Biden joined its board, according to documents previously published by Just the News.

Blue Star's work later became the focus of a Senate investigation that concluded last year that Hunter Biden's role at Burisma while his father oversaw Ukraine policy as vice president created a conflict of interest that undercut U.S. efforts to fight corruption in the former Soviet republic.

Late last August — just over two months before the presidential election won by Joe Biden — the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee summoned two representatives from Blue Star Strategies to testify on the firm's relationship with Burisma.

Blue Star's Karen Tramontano and Sally Painter were asked about the firm's contacts with Hunter Biden while he served on Burisma's board.

Tramontano testified that "at no time did I or anyone else in the firm working on behalf of Burisma collaborate or coordinate the development or implementation of our work with Hunter Biden. ... Mr. Biden played no role in Blue Star Strategies' work on behalf of Burisma."

You can read Tramontano's testimony here.

Under questioning from the Democratic counsel on the Senate committee, Painter gave similar testimony.

"Did you ever consult with Hunter Biden about Blue Star Strategies and its representation of Burisma?" Painter was asked.

"Never," she answered.

"Did Hunter Biden ever direct any of Blue Star Strategies and its representation of Burisma?" the questioner asked.

"No," Painter responded.

But emails, calendar notations and memos obtained by Just the News from the Hunter Biden laptop now in possession of the FBI state clearly that Hunter Biden had direct conversations with the Blue Star team on several occasions as its was beginning its work in November and December of 2015.

File

Those conversations included details about the Burisma-Blue Star contract as well as specific strategies, such as countering the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine's claims of corruption.

"Hunter and I spoke to Sally Painter yesterday," Eric Schwerin, a close colleague of Hunter Biden, wrote in a Nov. 12, 2015 email that briefed a top Burisma executive about the meetings.

"First, Hunter talked to Sally about the agreement and the desire on your part to evaluate success after two months and not feel locked in to the year long contract if things weren't going well," Schwerin wrote. "Sally understood and said that that wasn't a problem. So, you should feel free to go ahead and execute the agreement as it is written and process the first invoice.

"Second, Sally said she has already had a few meetings on Burisma's behalf and had some feedback she wanted to give to us offline. She felt she had some intelligence on why the Ambassador made his comments. Hunter and I are going to sit down with her on Monday and find out more.

"Third, we discussed the potential trip to Kiev in December. One alternative suggestion that Sally made was for Blue Star to go alone and do some high-level government meetings in Kiev as the first step."

Follow Up.pdf

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., who was chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee last year when it investigated Hunter Biden's business dealings and interviewed Blue Star executives, told Just the News on Monday he is troubled by the new revelations and the traditional news media's failure to cover them.

"I had serious doubts that Blue Star Strategies was fully complying with the subpoena my committee issued the firm in 2020. With new documents coming to light, it appears my suspicions were well founded," Johnson said.

"Unfortunately, Democrats and the press had no interest in exploring the troubling findings Senator Grassley’s and my report revealed regarding Biden Inc.’s vast web of foreign financial entanglements," he added. "There have been multiple confirmations that President Biden lied when he said he never spoke to Hunter about his overseas business activities. When will the press, Congress, and our justice system hold the Bidens accountable? The American people deserve the truth and the equal application of justice. Right now, they are getting neither."

Calendar notations also show Hunter Biden was scheduled for multiple conference calls with Blue Star officials from mid-November to mid-December, with the lobbying firm directly emailing the vice president's son the telephone call-in information.

File
BurismaBlue Star call.pdf

In early December 2015, a Blue Star executive named Sean Keeley wrote that his firm had scored a conference call with Joe Biden's office concerning the vice president's planned trip to Kiev later that month. Keeley directly emailed the briefing memo to Hunter Biden, with Tramontano and Painter copied.

"Attached is a memo from the Blue Star Strategies team with the minutes of the call, which outlined the trip's agenda and addressed several questions regarding U.S. policy toward Ukraine," Keeley wrote Hunter Biden in the email dated Dec. 2, 2015.

File

Beyond showing Blue Star was communicating with Hunter Biden, the email also shows the firm had direct contacts with the vice president's office concerning matters affecting Burisma.

In her Senate testimony, Painter said she did not believe she had contacts with the vice president's team. "I have no recollection of talking to the Vice President or anybody on the Vice President's staff about Burisma," she told the Senate probe.

Painter, Tramontano and Blue Star did not reply to messages or phone calls from Just the News seeking comment.

The memos indicate that Blue Star's relationship with Burisma dates back to Oct. 30, 2015, when an associate at Blue Star sent a proposal, contract, and initial invoice to Hunter Biden's longtime business partner and fellow Burisma board member Devon Archer. Archer forwarded the documents to Hunter Biden and Vadym Pozharskyi — an executive at Burisma and the apparent point of contact for Archer and Biden as well as Blue Star's executives.

Pozharskyi replied with a list of concerns, complaining that Blue Star's scope of work "largely [lacked] concrete tangible results" and the proposal did not offer any specific names of American or Ukrainian officials that would help improve Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky's case amid swirling allegations of international corruption.

Pozharskyi suggested that Blue Star may have omitted such specifics "deliberately to be on the safe and cautious side." The Burisma executive signaled that if all parties understood the "true purpose" of Blue Star's engagement and Hunter Biden's joint efforts then Burisma was OK with the current proposal and ready to proceed immediately. Pozharskyi added that he wanted Blue Star and Hunter Biden et al to be on the same page "re our final goals."

Pozharskyi closed out his email with a set of deliverables, including the desire for Blue Star to arrange for U.S. officials to express public support for Zlochevsky, and explicitly stated that the "ultimate purpose" should be to shut down the legal "cases/pursuits against [Zlochevsky] in Ukraine."

Hunter Biden replied and urged Pozharskyi to sign the contract with Blue Star, stating that he felt "comfortable with [Blue Star] and the ability of Sally and Karen to deliver." The younger Biden was apparently on a first name basis with the former Clinton administration officials now running Blue Star.

Less than two weeks later, on Nov. 18, 2015, Burisma sent $60,000 to Blue Star.

Within a week, Hunter Biden and his associates were preparing for a joint strategy session with the Burisma and Blue Star teams. A Blue Star representative contacted Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Vadym Pozharskyi and proposed a conference call for Dec. 1, 2015. Tramontano and Painter were both on the email chain with Hunter Biden.

A few days later, Blue Star again reached out to Hunter Biden and his associates offering to host a conference call "between Blue Star and Burisma." Painter and Tramontano were again on the email chain. Hunter Biden remained involved in the email exchanges and conference calls between Blue Star and Burisma into 2016 (though he rarely replied to the lobbyists directly and apparently relied on Archer and other associates to speak of his behalf).

On Dec. 8, 2015, Painter sent an email to Hunter Biden and others involved in the Burisma project, approving of a plan to clean up the Ukrainian company's Wikipedia entries.

"This looks like a fine strategy to upgrade and more reflect the facts of the company," Painter wrote in an email in which Hunter Biden was listed as the first recipient. "We also work with a group called Reuptation.com which improves the overall internet image. Happy to discuss this if any interest."

After months of work in Ukraine and Washington, Blue Star reported it had made some progress.

On July 26, 2016, Tramontano sent an update to Biden's business partner, Schwerin, stating, "Most of the restraints on Burisma have been lifted." Reporting that she would be heading to Ukraine that day and Painter would be heading to Latvia, Tramontano said she hoped they would "make a little more progress in both countries."

By the end of 2016, Blue Star and an American criminal defense attorney named John Buretta had helped Burisma settle the outstanding corruption probes in Ukraine, in one case paying a financial penalty.

Obama-Biden State Department officials, however, reported to the FBI and State headquarters in both 2015 and 2016 that they believed Burisma had paid bribes to Ukrainian officials to make the cases go away. U.S. officials have refused to say whether those allegations were ever investigated.

Law Professor: ‘It Is Clear That Hunter Biden Was Selling Access And Influence’

By Mike LaChance
Published July 6, 2021 at 3:17am
Hunter-Biden-2.jpg

Every time you turn around, you hear a new story about Hunter Biden grifting some other country for cash based on his father’s name.

You’d never know it from the liberal media, but Hunter Biden seems to have been selling access to his father and other power-players in Washington.

The Daily Mail provides this report:
EXCLUSIVE: Joe Biden entertained Hunter’s Mexican billionaire business associates in the vice president’s office in 2014 and even flew with his son to Mexico City on Air Force 2 so Hunter could attend meetings over a ‘flippin gigantic’ deal

Hunter and Biden family friend Jeff Cooper hatched a plan in 2013 to invest in multiple businesses in Mexico and Latin America, using their relationship with the Mexican billionaire Alemán family whose late patriarch, Miguel Alemán Valdes, served as president of Mexico.

Cooper, an attorney who worked with Hunter’s late brother Beau Biden on asbestos claims cases and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Biden political campaigns, was particularly excited by the venture’s prospects, writing to Hunter in February 2013: ‘This is setting up to be flippin gigantic brother.’

The prospects for profit only grew when Hunter joined the board of Ukrainian gas company Burisma the following year.

He and Cooper sought the help of Valdés’ grandson, airline CEO Miguel Alemán Magnani, to forge a relationship with the richest man in Latin America, Carlos Slim, in an attempt to cash in on the privatization of the giant state-owned oil company Pemex for Burisma and themselves.
George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, who is a liberal, says it’s obvious what was happening here.

He writes at his blog:
It is clear that Hunter Biden was selling access and influence. It appears that Joe Biden was aware of that effort. That is very serious. If these emails are false, they are a major story. If they are true, they are a major scandal. Presumably, however, this story will result in another run to the nearest ice cream shop and breathlessly covered on the current frozen delights of the President.
Just imagine if this was Donald Trump Jr. doing all of this.

Tom Cotton: Ethics Questions Surround China-Linked Hunter Biden Selling His Artwork

HANNAH BLEAU9 Jul 2021213

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said there are “tough” ethical questions that loom around Hunter Biden, who is “still investing in CCP [Chinese Communist Party]-linked firms,” as he is expected to sell his artwork for up to half a million dollars to “anonymous” buyers.

“Some very tough ethical questions about whether the president’s son, who is still investing in CCP-linked firms, should take $500,000 in payment (bribes) for his ‘artwork,'” Cotton said in reaction to reports of the White House crafting a plan to address mounting ethics questions surrounding Hunter Biden’s art venture.

“Better consult the experts on this one!” the Arkansas senator added:

His remarks follow reports of the White House working on a plan to address ethical concerns over Hunter Biden’s art sales, particularly in light of the lingering accusations of members of the Biden family, including Hunter himself, cashing in on their family name over the years. Notably, money laundering has already been identified by lawmakers as a major issue in the art world, which is largely cloaked in secrecy, as a bipartisan Senate investigation detailed last year.

“Secrecy, anonymity, and a lack of regulation create an environment ripe for laundering money and evading sanctions,” the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations report found.

Hunter Biden is working with Soho art dealer Georges Bergès, who has links to China himself. Bergès is holding an art exhibition in the fall, where Hunter’s art is expected to sell anywhere from $75,000-$500,000. The entire venture has prompted ethics concerns, particularly given Hunter’s past work as his father served as vice president — striking deals with Chinese officials and raking in tens of thousands of dollars per month serving on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian oligarch-owned oil and gas company, despite having no experience in the energy sector. His father would later brag about threatening to withhold aid from Ukraine unless officials fired the prosecutor conducting a corruption investigation into Burisma.

But instead of making the transactions more transparent and open, the White House is hoping to strike a deal to make buyers of Hunter Biden’s artwork, which is expected to sell for up to half a million dollars, anonymous.

According to the Washington Post, Bergès would determine the prices for the artwork and withhold “all records, including potential bidders and final buyers.”

“The owner, Georges Bergès, has also agreed to reject any offer that he deems suspicious or that comes in over the asking price, according to people familiar with the agreement,” the Post reported.

Breitbart News senior contributor and Profiles in Corruption author Peter Schweizer described the proposal as an utterly “absurd” solution.

“The only way to address these issues is with greater transparency–not less,” he told Breitbart News. “Their proposed solution is greater secrecy, not transparency. And they are essentially saying ‘Trust Us.’ Joe and Hunter Biden’s track record on such matters gives us no reason to trust them.”

Walter Shaub, who served as the Office of Government Ethics director under former President Obama, also blasted the Biden administration, calling this move the “opposite of government ethics.”

“White House officials getting involved in any way other than to request transparency amounts to effectively putting an official stamp of approval on the president’s son trading on his father’s public service,” Shaub told Fox News, also lamenting the purported plan on social media as well:

President Joe Biden has remained relatively mum on his scandal-plagued son’s latest venture, but Hunter hinted his father is a fan of his work.

“My dad loves everything that I do, and so I’ll leave it at that,” he told Artnet.

Fmr WH Ethics Chief Shaub on Hunter’s Art Sales: Biden Created ‘Perfect Mechanism for Funneling Bribes’

PAM KEY9 Jul 20211,492

Walter Shaub, who served as director of the Office of Government Ethics under former President Barack Obama and former Donald Trump said Friday on CNN’s “Newsroom” that the Biden administration has created a “perfect mechanism for funneling bribes ” with how it handled the president’s son Hunter Biden’s artwork sales.

White House officials helped draft an agreement to sell the artwork where buyers were kept confidential from even Hunter.

In a video, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “I can tell you that after careful consideration, a system has been established that allows for Hunter Biden to work in his profession within reasonable safeguards.”

Shaub said, “They have outsourced government ethics to an art dealer. She mentioned industry standards. It’s an industry that’s notorious for money laundering.

He continued, “This is just preposterous and very disappointing.”

Shaub said, “They’ve absolutely made it worse for two reasons. One, what they’ve done is ensured that neither you nor I nor anyone watching this show will know who buys the art unless they share it publicly. But there’s nothing that we can do to monitor to make sure that Hunter Biden or anyone in the White House doesn’t find out that the dealer keeps his or her promise, that the buyers don’t call the White House, ask for a meeting and say, ‘Hey, I just bought the president’s son’s art for $500,000. Now, maybe we trust Joe Biden not to give preferential treatment because he’s a better human being than Donald Trump, but you don’t run an ethics program on the idea that you hope everybody behaves. If everybody in the world would behave, we don’t even need laws prohibiting murder then.”

He continued, “The thing is, it’s just got the absolute appearance that he’s profiting off of his father’s fame. He’s not selling under a pseudonym. He’s not waiting until his father is out of office. He’s not selling at any price comparable to what other first-time artists are selling. So, the White House should have first made its move to have the president try to talk him out of doing this, and if that failed, they should have gone the opposite direction and asked that the name of buyers be released and pledge to the American people that what they would do is let us know any time one of those buyers got a meeting with an administration official so that the public could judge whether or not they were getting preferential treatment. The problem is, now they’ve set a precedent for the next president. Even if you happen to trust Joe Biden, what if the next president has the character of a Donald Trump? This would be a perfect mechanism for funneling bribes to that president.”

He concluded, “He can sell art all he wants, but he ought to be abiding by a standard that he shouldn’t be doing things to capitalize on his father’s name. You just are never going to convince me that selling art as a first-time artist at this price. He’s not selling it based on his father’s name. People are going to buy this art to be able to say, I’ve got the president’s son’s art hanging in my den or whatever room rich people who can afford this art have. He’s just not doing what he needs to do to avoid that. I know he’s not a government official and isn’t covered by the government ethics laws, but he’s an American citizen, and he has a patriotic duty not to capitalize on his father’s public service, and that’s clearly what he’s doing here.”

Pinkerton: The Glaring Loopholes in Hunter Biden’s Art Deal – The White House Thinks Less Transparency Can Fix an Ethics Problem

If there’s a pipeline of big-money influence into the Biden White House, are we supposed to feel better if the exact nature of the flow within that pipeline is secret?

That’s the strange argument reportedly being made by lawyers for the 46th president, as they grapple with the fact that Hunter Biden plans to make millions as an artist even as, of course, Hunter retains his anointed status as First Son to President Joe Biden. Yes, that’s right — the Biden lawyers think that it will be best if we, the American people, don’t know who’s buying Hunter’s art and for how much.

Interestingly, this cover-up approach seemed to be too much even for the Washington Post, an outlet not normally seen as as a critic of the Biden administration. Under the quippy headline, “Deal of the art: White House grapples with ethics of Hunter Biden’s pricey paintings,” the Post reported on July 8 that Hunter will be free to sell his artwork through a New York City art dealer, so long as he, Hunter, never learns the identity of the purchaser, and so long as the dealer rejects purchasers deemed to be “suspicious.”

We can immediately see that this arrangement is completely unenforceable and in fact impossible to make work. If someone buys a Hunter Biden artwork for six figures (or maybe, who knows, even more), that purchase is not going to stay secret, even in the unlikely event that the purchaser wanted his or her buy to remain secret. After all, most art buyers are sociable enough, living, as they do, in a world of galleries and exhibitions. And of course, plenty of reporters—society gossips as well as political journos—as well as others are curious about anything concerning the First Family.

Furthermore, political influence-buyers actively want their influence to be known—especially with the person they hope to influence. In other words, the fact that big money is gushing toward Hunter Biden is sure to be known–at least to Hunter and to anyone he cares to tell about it.

Yet lest anyone think that the Post report of the unusual secrecy surrounding the First Son’s art sales was somehow fake news, White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended it the following day, declaring that Hunter Biden “has the right to pursue an artistic career.” And she added, “I can tell you that after careful consideration, a system has been established that allows for Hunter Biden to work in his profession within reasonable safeguards,”

CNN Legal Analyst Admits Biden Team Now Has 'Complicated Ethics Problem'

By Nick Arama | Jul 10, 2021 1:45 PM ET

As I reported yesterday, the Biden team really stepped in it when they tried to construct a scheme to deal with the ethical questions raised by Hunter Biden’s art being bought by anonymous buyers.

Jen Psaki admitted the White House involvement in the construction of the scheme but tried out some Orwellian spin, arguing that denying the public knowledge of who those buyers were was somehow making everything more transparent.

That even prompted a response from CNN and Obama ethics expert Walter Shaub. Shaub told the folks on CNN he wasn’t buying that argument, that the White House’s deal to help Hunter sell art was a “perfect mechanism for funneling bribes to [the] president” in an industry that’s “notorious for money laundering.”

But now, even CNN legal analyst Elie Honig thinks the White House has stepped in it by inserting itself into this equation. Previously, the Biden administration could say whatever Hunter did was up to him. Now, they concocted the deal and have endorsed it. That’s not only put them on the hook for anything that comes from it, but it immediately raises an ethical conflict because of their involvement.

View: https://twitter.com/i/status/1413854259410620416
5:05 min

“It looks terrible for the White House. And they’ve got a complicated ethics problem on their hands now,” Honig said.

There’s nothing that prevents a buyer from telling the White House or Hunter Biden that they bought the art. What stops anyone from saying, “Hey, I’m buying the art. Now I expect that meeting with your dad that we talked about.” We’ve seen exactly that sort of situation in the past, where Hunter set up meeting the ‘big guy’ Joe for his business associates. Why would now be any different?

We should also note that Georges Berges, the art dealer that the White House farmed out their ethics to keep the names, has an interesting history, according to the New York Post.
Berges, 44, regularly features works by Chinese artists and told a Chinese network that he was keen to open other art galleries in Beijing and Shanghai in 2015. “The questions that I always had was how’s China changing the world in terms of art and culture,” Berges told the China Daily in 2014.
Berges was accused of defrauding an investor in a 2016 federal lawsuit. Ingrid Arneberg claims she invested $500,000 in Berges’ gallery for a promised expansion, but instead he used the cash to pay off old debts.

Berges later countersued Arneberg, and the case was settled in 2018.

In 1998, he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and making “terrorist threats,” which were dismissed. He pled “no contest” to the assault and received 36 months probation and served 90 days in jail, according to Santa Cruz Superior Court documents — the only information publicly available about the case.

So sure, no problems there.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates even tried to argue that the White House stepping into this ethical mess was more evidence of how ethical they truly were. “The president has established the highest ethical standards of any administration in American history, and his family’s commitment to rigorous processes like this is a prime example,” Bates told the Washington Post.

In a pig’s eye.

Peter Schweizer: Our Copy of Hunter Biden’s Laptop Confirms ‘Joe Biden Was a Direct Beneficiary’ of His Son’s Deals

Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI), said on Monday that his organization had confirmed that President Joe Biden “was a direct beneficiary” of Hunter Biden’s financial deals with foreign interests.

“We do have a copy, by the way, here at GAI of [Hunter Biden’s] laptop and all the files,” Schweizer said on the Sean Hannity Show. “It confirms that Joe Biden was a direct beneficiary.”

LISTEN (interview begins at 1:05:05): 1:35:34 min tot R/T

podcast on website

Schweizer explained how GAI cross-referenced Secret Service travel logs during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president to corroborate the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s emails.

He remarked:
GAI asked, “How can we demonstrate whether the emails are real?” … We already have, for example, Hunter Biden’s Secret Service travel records. They were released by Senator [Ron] Johnson’s committee. These are the official records that say the Secret Service traveled with Hunter to this location, to that location, etcetera.

So we asked, “Do the emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop correspond with the travel records? If our email references that [Hunter] is in Dubai on a certain date, does that line up with the Secret Service travel records? Absolutely, 100 percent.

So there is no question. Of course Hunter Biden hasn’t denied it. But there’s no question that the laptop emails that we have possession of are 100 percent accurate and correspond directly with existing material, and the information is devastating.
GAI is in the process of investigating its copy of files found on Hunter Biden’s laptop, Schweizer shared. He said GAI’s forthcoming reports on the laptop’s contents will expose disastrous dimensions of the Biden family.

“We’re in the middle of the investigation now, but by the end of the year it will be completed, and it will take on a far more sinister tone than it has even now in terms of what it says about the Biden family and the vulnerabilities of the Biden family,” Schweizer stated. “It’s that bad.”

Hannity asked, “On a scale of one to ten, how bad are the coming revelations from this laptop?”

He added, “The coming revelations [from our investigation] based on what we are in the middle of right now, on a scale of one to ten — and you know Sean, I’m pretty cautious about this stuff — frankly are an eleven. It’s that bad.”

Hunter Biden claimed to not know whether the laptop in question was his. Asked in April of the laptop’s authenticity, he replied, “For real, I don’t know.”

Over 300,000 demand inquiry into 'Biden family corruption'

by Paul Bedard, Washington Secrets Columnist |
| July 12, 2021 02:15 PM

Over 300,000 have signed a petition from one of Washington’s top watchdogs demanding that a special counsel be appointed to investigate allegations that President Joe Biden and family members, notably budding artist and son Hunter Biden, have profited off public service.

Judicial Watch, which has documented Hunter Biden’s travels on Air Force One and Air Force Two, said that 309,229 have signed its petition posted on Change.org, the latest indication that, at least among conservatives, questions about Biden and his father allegedly profiting in China and Ukraine won’t go away.

Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch president, said, “There is plenty of substantial evidence, from documents and witness statements, that the Biden family, including President Joe Biden, may have been involved in criminal activity involving, among other issues, foreign entities tied to Ukraine and China.”

He added, “Hunter has acknowledged that he is the target of an FBI criminal investigation, and he's on to his next corrupt enterprise — secretly selling his ‘ink blow’ paintings, in a scheme concocted by the Biden White House. A special counsel needs to be appointed immediately because the Biden Justice Department is conflicted in investigating any matter that could implicate President Biden or his immediate family.”

Hunter Biden could get as much as $500,000 for the paintings. The White House has said the buyers will be kept anonymous, a plan many have mocked.

Fitton is hopeful that the large number of petition signers will prompt GOP congressional leaders to push House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to call for a special counsel.

“Please help us spread the word as a special counsel should be appointed immediately to investigate the Biden family's dealings in China, Ukraine, etc.!” Fitton said in a petition update.

In documents made public, Judicial Watch said it has shown that promises of a “wall” being built between Joe Biden and his son were untrue.

The petition could be key to drawing media attention to the allegations, which the press has largely ignored. In fact, when the New York Post publicized some of the allegations, they were kicked off Facebook and Twitter.

Schweizer: Secret Service Records Validate Authenticity of Hunter’s Emails; Laptop’s Content Confirms “Joe Biden was a Direct Beneficiary” of Son’s Corrupt Deals

By Guest Author Julian Conradson

Peter Schweitzer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI), went on the Sean Hannity Show on Monday night to discuss his organization’s investigation of their copy of Hunter Biden’s Laptop.

Schweitzer confirmed what months of evidence have established as obvious – Joe Biden uses his influence to enrich his family and was a “direct beneficiary” of his son’s foreign cash grabs across the globe.

Schweitzer explained to Hannity: “We do have a copy, by the way, here at GAI, of the laptop and all the files. It confirms that Joe Biden was a direct beneficiary.”

1626213258654.png

In addition to the laptop, the institute also obtained Hunter Biden’s Secret Service travel records and matched them with his emails to validate their authenticity. Schweitzer said that the records matched up, “Absolutely, 100 percent.”
“Of course Hunter Biden hasn’t denied it, but there is no question that the laptop emails that we have possession of are 100% accurate and correspond directly with existing material, and the information is devastating.”
GAI’s thorough investigation on the laptop’s contents should be completed by the “end of the year.” The final report is expected to expose even more conclusive evidence of the Biden crime family’s treasonous acts and the new revelations it will include are “devastating.”

Schweitzer was asked how bad the findings would be for Biden on a scale of 1-10, he responded:
“The revelations, based on what we are in the middle of right now, on a scale of 1-10 – and you know Sean I’m pretty cautious about this stuff – frankly are an eleven. It’s that bad.”
Biden and his regime still claim that he “knew nothing” and has never benefited personally off of his family’s business dealings – despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

What a joke.

With this report, the audit results, and the Covid hoax all forecasting to be exposed soon – It’s no wonder the anti-American authoritarians running this country are terrified. The truth will come out.

Biden and the swamp have sold this country out for long enough.

GOP Launches Investigation of Biden Family’s Political Profiteering
U.S. President Joe Biden turns to kiss first lady Jill Biden as son Hunter takes the Bible after being sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol on January 20, 2021 in Washington, DC. During today's inauguration ceremony Joe Biden becomes the 46th …

Hunter Biden’s sales of artwork may be an avenue for procuring political influence from President Joe Biden, some House Republicans warned while launching a probe on Wednesday into what they described as “Biden family’s efforts to profit from proximity to the White House.”

In a statement titled “Oversight Republicans Raise Concerns About Biden Family Profiting Off White House,” 12 Republicans on the House Committee on Oversight and Reform requested information from the president’s counsel and the chief administrator of the federal government’s chief archivist.
The Republican lawmakers wrote:
Reports regarding President Biden’s family members attempting to profit from their proximity to the White House have been disturbing and recurring. Unfortunately, these reports of President Biden using his former official positions of public trust to swell the coffers of his family members are widespread, and any hope the pattern of family self-dealing would finally stop when he assumed the presidency has been dashed,” wrote Ranking Member Comer and the Republican lawmakers.
Rep. James Comer (R-KY), ranking member on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, tweeted, “The Biden family is treating the White House as their own personal cash cow. Who would pay 500K for Hunter’s art if his last name wasn’t Biden?”:

1626387511997.png

The Republicans’ statement included a request for the following communications and documents:
  • Communications and documents surrounding two international trips from the Obama-Biden Administration in which Biden family members and associates seemingly took advantage of a connection to the Oval Office;
  • A list of all past and ongoing foreign business interests and relations for Biden family members;
  • All documents and communications regarding Hunter Biden’s artwork;
  • All Biden family members’ appearance in advertisements, public speaking, or in any nature to solicit business/investments/awareness; and
  • All policies and procedures the White House has to prevent the Biden family from profiting off the presidency.
“Prices [for Hunter Biden’s artwork] range from $75,000 for works on paper to $500,000 for large-scale paintings,” according to the Georges Bergès Gallery, which represents the president’s second son, revealed.

Buyers of Hunter Biden’s art will remain anonymous.

Among other sources, the Republicans cited a 2018 report from Peter Schweizer’s examination of a private equity firm run by Hunter Biden and John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz.

In a letter to Dana Remus, counsel to the president, Republicans wrote:
Reports regarding President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.’s family members attempting to profit from their proximity to the White House have been disturbing and recurring. Unfortunately, these reports of President Biden using his former official positions of public trust to swell the coffers of his family members are widespread, and any hope the pattern of family self-dealing would finally stop when he assumed the presidency has been dashed.
Republicans considered if the anonymity of buyers of Hunter Biden’s paintings allows for “money laundering, “fraud,” “other illicit activities,” or other forms of monetizing Joe Biden’s political influence.

In January, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “It’s the White House’s policy that the president’s name should not be used in connection with any commercial activities to suggest or in any way, in any way they could reasonably be understood to imply his endorsement or support.”

Federal Prosecutor Deliberately Delayed Hunter Biden Probe To Shield 2020 Election

JULY 16, 2021 By Jordan Davidson

U.S. Department of Justice officials deliberately delayed an investigation into Hunter Biden’s potential tax law violations and sketchy overseas business dealings because of the effect it could have on the presidential election, according to a Politico report.

Delaware’s U.S. Attorney David Weiss allegedly postponed allowing prosecutors to obtain search warrants and issue grand jury subpoenas last summer, after facing pressure from other officials who feared the investigation’s influence on the 2020 presidential election and now-President Joe Biden’s campaign.

“They advised [him] to avoid taking any actions that could alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election,” reported Politico, one of the many corporate media outlets that brushed off the possibility of any wrongdoing by Hunter despite the discovery of his incriminating laptop.
One person “involved in the discussions” told Politico that it was “to [Weiss’s] credit, [that] he listened.”

“It was a close call,” the person said. “That case has way more credibility now.”
Weiss first assumed his position as a U.S. attorney in 2017 after former President Donald Trump nominated him. As noted by Politico, the nomination was based on “the recommendation of Delaware’s two Democratic senators, who both praised the choice.” The attorney has deep ties, previously engaging and even leading a long list of investigations in President Biden’s home state of Delaware and on the national level, even connected to the infamous Ukrainian energy firm Burisma with which Hunter Biden was involved.

Shortly after his nomination, Weiss began to explore Hunter’s roguish business dealings with Chinese businessmen possibly linked to the communist regime. The probe originally focused on “possible money laundering and violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act,” but later shifted to questioning “whether [Hunter] had paid taxes on all of his income.”

When the time came for more formal exploratory measures into Hunter’s dealings, however, Weiss declined to take any drastic actions “that were likely to make the existence of the Hunter Biden probe public” because he feared political scrutiny and giving “many of then-President Donald Trump’s supporters” what they were looking for.

“Concerns about affecting the presidential election loomed large when Weiss entertained arguments about advancing the probe, according to the person involved in the discussions. No matter what he did, the decision was sure to come under scrutiny for signs of politicization,” Politico reported.

Shortly before Election Day, prosecutors and then-Attorney General Bill Barr worked together to keep the investigation from going fully public and decided not to appoint a special investigator for the case.

“The probe did not gain widespread attention outside of the conservative media sphere until several weeks after the presidential election, when Hunter Biden released a statement saying Weiss’s office had notified him of it,” noted Politico.
Hunter was quick to hire a defense attorney from legal firm Latham & Watkins in December, just one month before his dad appointed another partner from the same firm, Nicholas McQuaid, to temporarily run the Criminal Division of the Justice Department. Despite his previous work on cases with Hunter’s attorney, it is still unclear if McQuaid signed a waiver or recused himself from overseeing the investigation into Hunter.

Longtime FBI signature expert says Hunter Biden signed receipt for abandoned laptop

President's son has tried to cast doubt on authenticity, origins of computer turned over to FBI by Delaware shop owner.

Updated: July 15, 2021 - 11:41pm

A retired FBI counterintelligence agent with longtime expertise in signature analysis tells Just the News that Hunter Biden signed an April 2019 Delaware computer repair shop receipt, adding fresh evidence that a controversial laptop turned over to the bureau with eye-popping emails about Ukrainian and Chinese business deals belonged to the president's son.

Retired Special Agent Wayne A. Barnes, a 29-year FBI veteran who mastered signature analysis while unmasking Soviet spies during the Cold War, says the "R.H. Biden" signature — short for Robert Hunter Biden — on the receipt issued in spring 2019 from John Paul Mac Issac's repair shop in Delaware matches those on documents known to have been signed by the president's son, such as Social Security cards, driver's licenses and other public documents.

"The signature on the computer repair store from April 2019 was signed by RHB," Barnes wrote in a 24-page report commissioned by Just the News.

Barnes noted the receipt signature contains many of the same distinctive characteristics that Hunter Biden's signature contained on other public documents and exhibited no signs of forgery or digital replication.

"The general pattern and flow of the signature matches the other known signatures from RHB," Barnes wrote. "The R has its vertical line with the normal slight slant to the right. While the beginning of the top curved part of the R does not begin where RHB usually starts his — that is, by picking the pen off the paper and starting a new line. Here it commences from the bottom of the vertical line, lazily not lifting the pen off the paper. But then it goes up to his normal starting position, to the left of the top of the vertical line. This line then curves to the right and around and down to the middle of the vertical line.

"This curve of the R from the right, appropriately crosses the vertical line with a loop. This is in true 'contemplator' fashion. It is something which appears essential for RHB when writing his signature. It then goes back and up to the right, something well demonstrated in the other known examples.

"The line up to the top of the H follows the tail from the R as seen in the known signatures. Then it is the by-now-familiar butterfly pattern of the H which creates the full letter," it added.

Signature analysis of RHB - Wayne Barnes 2021-07-03.pdf

Barnes, who now works as a private investigator in Florida and has testified in court cases as an expert, was recommended to Just the News by several current and former FBI agents and supervisors, who said his work on signature matching was highly respected and played essential roles in solving cases ranging from counterintelligence threats to health care fraud.

His expert conclusion adds to a growing body of evidence that Hunter Biden likely turned over in April 2019 — and then abandoned — his laptop to the Delaware computer repair shop run by Mac Isaac, who subsequently turned it over to the FBI in December 2019 under a federal grand jury subpoena.

Hunter Biden has acknowledged he is under criminal investigation by the FBI on tax matters but in interviews during a recent book tour has tried to cast doubt on the authenticity and origins of the laptop that Mac Isaac has insisted he obtained lawfully from Hunter Biden and then turned over to the FBI.

"I really don't know what the answer is, that's the truthful answer," Hunter Biden told CBS News in an interview earlier this year. "I have no idea."

Asked whether it could have belonged to him, the president's son replied, "Certainly."

"Certainly, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me," he continued. "It could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me."

When the contents of the laptop first surfaced last fall during the 2020 presidential election, Biden defenders sought to portray the laptop as a fake.

Several security experts declared — without evidence — that it was Russian disinformation, and Twitter censored and blocked early stories on the laptop until after Joe Biden defeated President Trump.

Since then, Twitter has said it was a mistake to censor the contents, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence has declared the laptop is not part of a Russian disinformation campaign, an assessment the FBI does not challenge.

Also, many news organizations — including Just the News — have authenticated documents on the laptop from third parties with direct knowledge about the contents.

The laptop contents show Hunter Biden received some assistance from his father and aides on his Ukrainian and Chinese business deals while Joe Biden was vice president and intimated on more than one occasion that he gave money from his deals to his father.

They also show Hunter Biden's lawyers warned him when he first received a federal subpoena in 2016 that he had failed to pay taxes on large sums of money from Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian gas company on whose board he had served since 2014.
Those emails conflict with declarations Hunter and Joe Biden have made in public.

George Mesires, a lawyer for Hunter Biden, did not return an email Thursday seeking comment.

Brian Della Rocca, a lawyer for Mac Isaac, said Barnes' findings vindicate his client, who last year was vilified in the news media and social media as everything from a Russian disinformation artist to a political dirty trickster.

"This just confirms what we have known for months," Della Rocca told Just the News. "Hopefully, those who refused to believe John Paul will now give him the credit he deserves. John Paul has always known that it was Hunter Biden who came into his shop on that fateful day, even if Hunter cannot remember."

In his report and interviews with Just the News, Barnes said signature matching provides much more information to authorities than just confirmation of who signed a document. It has been used for decades to assess the motives, psychology and intentions of foreign spies as well as con men, he noted.

In his report, Barnes offered some analysis on what Hunter Biden's signature might tell the FBI today. Barnes specifically noted the "R" and "B" in the signatures were larger and more pronounced than the "H" that stood for his middle name Hunter, which he has used as his main name in public for years,

"Whomever the R refers to in Hunter's mind, especially in comparison to his signature's middle initial H, the R-person is held in much more esteem than he has for himself," Barnes wrote. "Understand, if he were thinking of himself when signing his R and H, the two letters would be roughly identical in size, but they are far from it.

"So he has both the R-person and the B-person (his father) squeezing himself (his "H") in between them so his own persona, in his mind, is much smaller and deserves less height and less space," he added. "It is certainly some level of inferiority complex, in comparison to these two (R and B), even if we don't have clarity about who the R-person is. It is likely not a phantom in his mind, but all of the facts tell us he thinks more highly of this R-entity than he does of himself."

Barnes swept public files for instances of Hunter Biden's signature, and his report cited two examples of suspect signatures, ones that do not appear to be original or written spontaneously by Hunter Biden. One of those was on a Chinese business document, the other on a home document.

Barnes said both warrant further investigation to fully understand their origins. They could have been written by someone else, or digitally recreated, he noted.

Carlson: Hunter Biden ‘Can Do Literally Whatever He Wants — As We’ve Seen, He Definitely Has’

JEFF POOR17 Jul 2021226

On Friday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson reminded viewers of now-first son Hunter Biden’s alleged indiscretions that came to light near the end of the 2020 presidential campaign.

According to Carlson, under the Biden Department of Justice, Hunter Biden was able to “do literally whatever he wants.”

Transcript as follows:
CARLSON: So much happens in the final weeks of a presidential campaign that it’s easy to lose track of it. Whatever happened to this or that — development in the news. You can’t remember. A lot falls between the cracks. There’s overload.

Politicians know this, obviously, and they take advantage of it. If they can derail a story until after Election Day, often that story goes away forever. No one really remembers. And that was precisely the thinking behind the Democrats’ response to Hunter Biden’s laptop.

They knew from the first day that the contents of that laptop were in fact genuine. Look at what’s on there, it may be theoretically possible that some foreign Intel service would Photoshop a picture of Hunter Biden’s crotch mostly for self-amusement, but a hundred pictures of Hunter Biden’s crotch adorned with M&Ms? No. No Russian did that. Those pictures were real.

And so are the huge numbers of e-mails and texts from Hunter Biden explaining how he was selling access to his father, then the Vice President and how his father was helping him do it.

So, in order to enrich his family, Joe Biden changed this country’s foreign policy. That happened and it was the real crime that Hunter Biden’s laptop revealed. That was the real scandal.

If voters had understood that, if someone had told them, it might have affected the results of the election, so they couldn’t know. The permanent bureaucracy hid that from the country.

In October, a group of corrupt Intelligence officials, 50 of them whose names will live forever in shame, signed a letter blaming Vladimir Putin for the laptop. “Hunter Biden’s story is Russian disinformation, dozens of former Intel official say,” that was the headline in Politico. That was a lie from top to bottom. It was totally unsupported by evidence or Intelligence.

But it came just in time for the presidential debate. That was the point. And Joe Biden picked it up and wielded it like a club from the stage.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JOE BIDEN (D), THEN-CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: We are in a situation where we have foreign company — countries trying to interfere in the outcome of our election. His own national security adviser told him that what is happening with his buddy, well, gosh, I will — his buddy Rudy Giuliani, he is being used as a Russian pawn. He is being fed information that is Russian — that is not true.
(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: “His own national security adviser.” That’s probably right, but it was a lie. And just two months after that debate, the truth began to leak out. According once again to Politico, the Intel world’s favorite media tool, quote, “A person with firsthand knowledge of the investigation conceded that actually Hunter Biden’s laptop was not a Russian fabrication.” It was real, real enough to be used as evidence in an ongoing investigation into, quote, “potential money laundering and Hunter Biden’s foreign ties.”

Hunter Biden, we learned was facing possible indictment for what was on the laptop. The DOJ was looking into the Ukrainian and Chinese businessmen who had been paying Hunter to get close to his father.

And they wanted to know why his father was apparently getting 10 percent of those deals. That’s what we learned.

And that’s all we learned. For six months we heard nothing more.

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden got a lot richer. He sold a book that no one read for millions of dollars. Simon & Schuster paid him off. He sold paintings you would never hang anywhere for possibly even more than that. We don’t know because the identities of the people who bought them are still secret. But what you do know for certain is that Hunter Biden was never charged with anything. Why is that?

It’s kind of weird if you think about it, given that Biden himself — Hunter Biden admitted on television, that the laptop actually didn’t come from the Kremlin. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
TRACY SMITH, CBS NEWS CORRESPONDENT: Was that your laptop?

HUNTER BIDEN, JOE BIDEN’S SON: For real, I don’t know.

SMITH: I know, but you that’s — this is —

H. BIDEN: I really don’t know.

SMITH: Okay, you don’t know. Yes or no if the laptop was yours?

H. BIDEN: I don’t have any idea. I have no idea.

SMITH: So could have been yours.

H. BIDEN: Of course. Certainly. There could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked. It could be that it was — that it was Russian Intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me.
(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: Oh, so you’d think a clip like that where he admits it, the 50 Intel officials were all lying. Do you think that clip would be a key piece of evidence in the probe into Hunter Biden’s finances? Where did all this money come from? Why are foreign governments sending him millions of dollars?

E-mails on that laptop directly implicate Hunter Biden in his family’s foreign influence peddling operation. Joe Biden, his brother, son — so, why have we heard anything to this day about any of this from the Department of Justice?

Good question, and today we got our answer, and actually it came from Politico. The magazine reported, meaning it was told likely for complex reasons, we can never really know, that the U.S. Attorney in the State of Delaware, a man called David Weiss had, in fact, buried the Hunter Biden case and done so on purpose because he was asked to do it.

David Weiss decided to do all of this, Politico told us because he wanted, quote, “to avoid taking any actions that could alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election.”

Well, they’re just saying it out loud now. He didn’t want to hurt Joe Biden, in other words, and he did this at the request of the Biden family and their lawyers. We learned that from a Politico piece, too. It includes this quote, “To Weiss’s credit, ‘he listened,’ said a person involved in the discussions.” In other words, he listened to the Biden’s and their lawyers, and because he did that, apparently, David Weiss has kept his job as a Federal prosecutor.

Now, Ben Schreckinger of Politico needless to say strongly approves of this. It’s not a subversion of justice, it is the right thing, quote, “Weiss’s decision to avoid revealing the investigation, a move that might have boosted Donald Trump’s campaign, even at the cost of politicizing the probe was consistent with his sober-minded approach to the job.”

Atta boy. Got that?

When you cover for a Democratic presidential campaign, you are, according to Politico and Ben Schreckinger, a sober-minded prosecutor. You did the right thing. Good job, David Weiss. You used our justice system to get the right team into the White House. I hope you get rewarded.

And in case you have any doubt that that’s exactly what happened and had nothing to do with the timeframe before the election, you should know and you may already know that the FBI had Hunter Biden’s laptop for an entire year before the election. We know they made a forensic copy of the hard drive in 2019. But they did nothing and they still haven’t, now they don’t have time. They’re too busy hunting down senior citizens who talk about election integrity, the fabled insurrectionists.

They can’t do anything about the subversion of American foreign policy by the Bidens, because they are busy with the insurrectionists.

Maybe someday, when it no longer matters, Politico will tell us that story.

In the meantime, we can look forward to more treatment like this for dissidents who oppose the regime in any way. As a reminder, here’s what happens to any American who mocks the people in power.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JOHN BERMAN, CNN ANCHOR: Exclusive footage that you’re looking at right now from CNN as the FBI arrives at Roger Stone’s residence in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, taking him into custody.
They arrived before dawn there, before 6:00 a.m. or just after 6:00 a.m., a dozen officers we are told.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: FBI, open the door.
(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: That was Roger Stone, of course. They rousted him and his wife, both of them senior citizens, by the way, because he made the mistake of texting unflattering things about Federal prosecutors and the government read his texts.

But Hunter Biden doesn’t have to worry about any of that, he doesn’t have to worry about the SWAT team showing up at his house at dawn with a CNN camera crew in tow. Hunter Biden can violate all the Federal gun laws he wants — and he has and he knows they’ll never be charged.

Merrick Garland works for his dad, so he’s fine. He can do literally whatever he wants, and as we’ve seen, he definitely has.

Peter Schweizer: Hunter Biden Selling Art to Anonymous Buyers Is Genius-Level Corruption

PAM KEY18 Jul 2021123

Video on website 10:13 min

Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI), said on this week’s broadcast of “Sunday Morning Futures” that President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s sale of his art to anonymous buyers is “genius” in a very corrupt way.

Partial transcript as follows:
BARTIROMO: So, Peter, right now, Hunter is getting ready to sell art. He has told us that this is his new job. He is a first-time artist, no training, of course. The pieces are being priced between $75,000 and a half-a-million dollars apiece. You call this scheme genius. Why?
SCHWEIZER: It is genius because — in a very corrupt way, because what was the criticism of Hunter’s previous moneymaking schemes?

When he worked went to work for Burisma, the energy company, the criticism was he was getting a million dollars a year. He had no background in Ukrainian energy regulation, no background in energy.

Well, art is different than the business world. It’s entirely subjective.

So, if somebody is prepared to send half-a-million dollars to an artist for a piece of art, who can question it? So, in that sense, it’s very genius. But this opens the gateway to massive corruption, Maria, because the art owner, the art partner that he has that’s going to be marketing his art has been very clear that he’s going to market these things overseas. He’s been wanting to break into the Chinese art market for years. And the Senate, actually, in 2019 issued a report talking about how the art world is rife with money laundering and corruption involving foreign oligarchs, because it’s so hard to trace. So it’s a massively troublesome problem. And their explanations simply don’t carry any weight.

BARTIROMO: Well, the White House is saying that, in an effort to be — quote, unquote — “transparent,” they are not going to tell anybody who’s ponying up half-a-million dollars to buy Hunter Biden’s art.

What’s to stop a Chinese company, or an Iranian company, a Chinese company tied to the Chinese military and the Communist Party to pay half-a-million dollars for art, and then say, wink, wink, take this company off the blacklist, further my efforts here, further my efforts there, I just bought your art for half-a-million bucks?

SCHWEIZER: Maria, let me underline and underscore what you just said. That’s absolutely correct. There’s nothing stopping them from doing it. And, in fact, the White House’s proposed ethics solution —I will put that in quotation marks — is the exact opposite of what’s called for here. Their solution of transparency is to actually hide who is engaged in the transaction. It’s ludicrous.

Look, I have been critical of Bill and Hillary Clinton and their foreign deals over the years. You have to give them credit. When Hillary Clinton was in the Senate and later as secretary of state, Bill Clinton was collecting a lot of speaking fees from foreign entities. They disclosed those. And to their credit, they disclosed those. In this case, I don’t think Hunter Biden should be doing this to begin with. But if he’s going to do it, they need to disclose and have an independent party verify who is actually paying him for this artwork.

Shades of Clinton: Joe Biden used private email to send government information to Hunter

Emails on laptop seized by FBI show State Department information flowing from VP to son regarding release of American prisoner.

Updated: July 20, 2021 - 7:14pm

In a communications backdoor reminiscent of Hillary Clinton's infamous private server, President Biden used a personal email account during the Obama years to send information he was getting from the State Department as vice president to his globetrotting, foreign-deal-making son Hunter Biden.

Messages, sometimes signed "Dad," from the email account robinware456@gmail.com were found on a Hunter Biden laptop seized by the FBI in December 2019 from a Delaware computer shop owner.

Some of the messages from the vice president to his son obtained by Just the News were deeply personal, others were political in nature, and still others clearly addressed business matters, often forwarding information coming from senior officials in the White House, the State Department and other government agencies.

For instance, in late November 2014 the U.S. embassy in Istanbul sent an email to the State Department that was then forwarded to senior advisers to Joe Biden, including national security expert Michael Carpenter, providing an early alert that an American named Martin O'Connor was about to be released from detention in Turkey.

"The lead attorney for Mr. O'Connor reports that the court granted the detention appeal and he expected Mr. O'Connor to be released from jail today, barring any unforeseen problems," the U.S. embassy in Instanbul wrote in an email that got forwarded to top Obama administration security and diplomacy officials,
including current Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland.

"Mr. O'Connor will not be allowed to leave the country until his next hearing which is set for December 11, 2014. The lawyer expressed confidence that he will be able to leave after that hearing. The attorney is handling his release arrangements, pick up and temporary housing near his law firm's office. Istanbul consular plans to speak with Mr. O'Connor after his release."

State Department officials forwarded the information to the vice president's office, where Biden aide Colin Kahl (now President Biden's Undersecretrary of Defense for Policy) sent it to Joe Biden's private email. The vice president then sent it to his son Hunter Biden with the subject line "Fwd: Mr. O'Connor Being Released from Detention today."

File
Fwd Mr OConnor Being Released from Detention today.pdf

A former senior Obama administration official confirmed to Just the News that some administration officials knew of the robinware456@gmail.com email address for Joe Biden and used it from time to time. "I saw it used to communicate with his family and friends or to pass information to them," the official told Just the News, speaking only on condition of anonymity because of fear of reprisal.

The emails obtained by Just the News show numerous Obama administration officials communicated or were aware of the private email address or had their information sent to it, including current Secretary of State Tony Blinken.

In January 2013, Blinken emailed Joe Biden at his private email recounting a colleague's conversation about the Pulitzer-winning journalist, author and screenwriter Richard Ben Cramer's last minutes before dying. At the time, Blinken was Joe Biden's national security adviser.

"Called to say that he was with Richard Ben Cramer in the hospital before the latter passed and they were talking about you till the end," Blinken wrote the vice president and his family, including Hunter Biden. "Richard apparently said he was gratified the country is finally finding out what he knew about your leadership and talents many years ago."

Fwd Mark Zwonitzer.pdf

Beyond establishing that Joe Biden sent government information to his son, the existence of the private email address also raises questions of federal law, as Hillary Clinton's email server showed. Biden had an obligation to preserve any emails involving his government work under federal records law, even if he used a private email address.

"The Presidential Records Act required Joe Biden to make sure that any of his gmail account emails, including these emails to Hunter Biden, were forwarded to a government account so they could properly be handled by the National Archives," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch. "No wonder the Obama White House wanted to protect Hillary Clinton from the consequences of [her] email shell game!"

"We might know more beginning next year," added the veteran public records watchdog, "when Judicial Watch and the public can begin filing FOIAs for Obama White House emails."

The White House press office did not respond to a call and email from Just the News seeking comment Tuesday. George Mesires, a lawyer for Hunter Biden, also did not respond to an email seeking comment.

Hunter Biden on a few occasions reached out directly to his father on the private email address to ask for help, the memos from the laptop show. In January 2012, for instance, Hunter Biden forwarded a request to have the vice president prepare a video message for an event honoring Texas Democratic activist Ben Barnes.

"We are working on it," the vice president wrote his son in reply.

On another occasion in June 2014, Hunter Biden suggested someone he wanted to see appointed as a detailee to the Treasury Department. "Before you fill the positions, pls talk to me," Hunter Biden wrote his father.

The vice president responded, "Call me right away, Dad."

Politics, including the potential for Biden to run for president in 2016, were sometimes the subject of emails coming to and from the RobinWare456@gmail.com account.

Former U.S. Sen. Ted Kaufman, who succeeded Biden as a Delaware senator after serving decades as his chief of staff, sent an email Nov. 3, 2014 that included a Wall Street Journal article negative to Hillary Clinton, a potential 2016 challenger to Biden before the vice president declined to run that year. The article was entitled "Hillary Clinton's Wall Street problem."

"In case you missed it," Kaufman wrote Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and Joe Biden's late son Beau. The subject line read, "Excellent."

File
Excellent.pdf

When a poll came out showing Beau Biden was still popular as attorney general in Delaware, the vice president used his private email to applaud.

"Strong," he wrote, signing it with his name "Joe."

Sometimes, Vice President Biden's messages to his son took a more personal note, like the day the Wall Street Journal broke the story in October 2014 that Hunter Biden had been discharged from the Navy over a positive cocaine test.

"Good as it could be," Joe Biden wrote in an email chain that included the article forwarded to the vice president's email address by White House staff. "Time to move on, Love Dad."

The vice president also flashed some of his trademark self-deprecating humor, once forwarding an astronomy story suggesting a planet be named for him.

From his private email, Joe Biden wrote his family, "Only time in history." The subject line was: "Why I deserve more respect."

Hunter Biden will Meet with Prospective Buyers of His Garbage Artwork in Private, Raising New Ethical Concerns About Influence Peddling

By Cristina Laila

Tell us you’re influence peddling without telling us you’re influence peddling.
Remember when Psaki promised that identities of the potential buyers of Hunter Biden’s garbage artwork would be kept a secret from the Bidens?

“The gallerist will not share information about buyers or prospective buyers, including their identities, with Hunter Biden or the administration, which provides quite a level of protection,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said during a briefing a couple weeks ago.

According to new reports, Hunter Biden will be meeting with potential buyers for his artwork at a private affair in Los Angeles.

Hunter’s garbage artwork (photo below) will “range from $75,000 for works on paper to $500,000 for large-scale paintings.”

IMG_2884.jpg

“He’s looking forward to it. It is like someone debuting in the world. And of course he will be there,” Georges Berges Gallery spokeswoman Robin Davis told CBS News.

But don’t worry because Davis said that at Hunter’s art shows “everyone will be vetted…so, whomever is appropriate will be attending.”

CBS News reported:
Hunter Biden is expected to meet with prospective buyers at two art shows where his paintings will be on display later this year, according to a spokesperson for the New York gallery retained to sell art made by the president’s son.

The shows, a small, private affair in Los Angeles and a larger exhibition in New York City, will give Biden an opportunity to interact with potential buyers of his paintings, which the gallery expects to sell for as much as $500,000.

Hunter Biden is working with a shady SoHo art dealer with strong ties to China to hold an exhibition in New York this fall.

According to the New York Post, Soho art dealer Georges Bergès has strong ties to China and was once arrested for “terrorist threats.”

This set up is so shady that even Obama’s ethics chief Walter Shaub blasted the Biden White House for brokering Hunter Biden’s shady art deal.

Walter Shaub said the art dealing industry is “notorious for money laundering.”

“This is just preposterous,” Shaub said of Hunter Biden’s art selling for up to $500,000.

Shaub said Joe Biden should have talked Hunter Biden out of selling his art because it gives the appearance that he is profiting off of his father’s fame.

They Lied: Hunter Biden Will Meet with Prospective Buyers for His Junk Art in NYC (VIDEO)

Most corrupt presidential family ever.

Senior Ethics Fellow Walter Shaub told CNN today the Biden Administration left a few details out when they discussed who was buying Hunter’s junk art pieces at a New York gallery.

Shaub told CNN, “They’ve put an art dealer in charge of keeping a secret. And really what he’s doing is keeping a secret from the public.

Because eventually Hunter Biden or the people in the White House will learn who it’s going to be. In fact, Hunter Biden we now know is going to be at two art showings where he will meet the universe of bidders on his art. So they left that detail out when he told us he had no idea knowing who was buying his art.”

Of course, they lied.

What crooks. Once again, imagine if a Trump son was selling junk art he blew from a straw at a New York gallery for $500,000?

SURPRISE! Hunter Biden’s Art Dealer Has Ties To China

By Mike LaChance
Published July 27, 2021 at 2:37am
Hunter-Biden-2.jpg

Hunter Biden’s new career as a highly-paid artist continues to get shadier.

Last week, we learned that Hunter will meet with his supposedly anonymous buyers.

Now we are learning that his dealer has ties to China. You couldn’t make this up.
FOX News reports:

Hunter Biden’s art dealer said he wanted to be the ‘lead guy in China’ in 2015
The art dealer representing the president’s son has longstanding ties to China and said in 2015 that he wanted to be the art world’s “lead guy in China.”

Georges Berges, who is representing Hunter Biden as he ventures into the art world, has talked about his business dealings in China in the past, but his reported ties could pose an ethics issue as he sells Biden’s art to anonymous buyers.
A representative for Berges previously told Fox News that the sales of Biden’s art will be kept “confidential.” The White House has said they have an ethics plan in place to ensure the president’s son doesn’t know who buyers are, though Hunter has raised eyebrows with plans to attend art shows where potential buyers will be in attendance.
Berges said in a 2015 interview with Resident that he wanted to be the art world’s leader in China.
“My plan is to be the lead guy in China; the lead collector and art dealer discovering and nurturing talent from that region,” Berges said. “I plan to find and discover and bring to the rest of the world those I consider China’s next generation of modern artists.”
PJ Media notes the obvious problem here:

The Biden regime keeps saying the buyers for Hunter’s “art” will be kept anonymous. That doesn’t help. Neither does Hunter admitting that he will meet with them. The potential is there for literally anyone — Xi Jinping, George Soros, the Iranian ayatollah, just about anyone — to funnel money directly into the Bidens’ bank account and then let them know on the sly that they’ve done so.

Democrats and the media would be losing their minds if this story was about Donald Trump Jr. and everyone knows it.

Hunter Biden Says He Lost *ANOTHER* Laptop to Russian Drug Dealers in Naked Pillow Talk

Hunter Biden claimed during a post-coital conversation with a woman identified by the Daily Mail as a prostitute that Russian drug dealers stole his laptop (not the one abandoned to a Delaware computer repair shop) during a Vegas bender where he nearly drowned in a hotel hot tub, according to footage unearthed by the tabloid.

**WARNING — GRAPHIC VIDEO**

The Daily Mail reports:
The alleged incident would mean Hunter lost a total of three computers – the first abandoned at a Delaware computer store and the second seized by federal agents – each likely to hold sensitive information on President Joe Biden and the embarrassing pictures, videos and communications of his son.

The third laptop still appears to be missing – and was taken by Russian drug dealers after they partied with Hunter in Vegas, he told a prostitute in a conversation caught on camera.

After filming himself having sex with the woman using his laptop in January 2019, Hunter left the camera rolling as he recounted a Vegas bender in which he spent ’18 days going round from penthouse suite to penthouse suite,’ sometimes costing $10,000 a night.

“I spent f***ing crazy amounts of money,” Hunter is seen telling the woman, before telling a story of how he almost drowned in a hot tub. “I was with these guys. The one guy was, not like you anyway… each night he’d be like ‘there’s going to be so many people here, crazy f***ing party’ and each night it’s nobody.”

“I went out to the hot tub by myself, which hangs over the edge of the f***ing top floor, with glass, it’s ridiculous,” Biden’s son recounts. “And so I’m sitting there and that’s the last I remember. And I don’t ever pass out, ever.”

“I wake up and the only people that are there are Miguel, the guy frantically running round gathering things up, ok – and Miguel, and Pierce, this guy, his friend,” he allegedly added. “They had kicked everybody out. And they had cleaned up the entire place, everything ok? And they were getting ready to leave, and I woke up. And there was this Russian 35-year-old, really nice, pure brunette. She refused to leave and they wouldn’t call an ambulance. And they didn’t know whether I was dead or not, at first.”

Hunter then explains the moment he realizes that his computer was missing.

“I think he’s the one that stole my computer. I think the three of them, the three guys that were like a little group. The dealer and his two guys, I took them everywhere. F***ing everywhere, crazy out of your mind sh**,” he says. “They have videos of me doing crazy f***ing sex f***ing, you know.”

“My computer, I had taken tons of like, just left like that cam on. And he would always put in a passcode and all that, you know what I mean? It was f***ing crazy sh**.,” he adds. “And somebody stole it during that period of time. He did all this kind of like pretend search and sh**.”

Later, the woman asks Hunter if he is concerned that the videos could be used to “blackmail” him.

“Yeah in some way yeah,” Hunter responds. “My dad [inaudible] running for president. He is. I talk about it all the time.”

“If they do, he also knows I make like a gazillion dollars,” he muses.

New book reveals how Biden’s family used his position for profit

By
Ben Schreckinger

Updated

“Jim’s job,” one of his former business partners told author Ben Schreckinger of President Biden’s younger brother Jim, “is to ensure the lifestyle is good for the family.” Son Hunter Biden later joined that pursuit, as Schreckinger reveals in his new book, “The Bidens: Inside the First Family’s Fifty-Year Rise to Power.” In this exclusive excerpt, Schreckinger reveals how Jim and Hunter opened doors and profited using Joe Biden’s name and influence.

In January 2006, Hunter Biden was a lobbyist for William Oldaker, who had served as a campaign counsel and treasurer to Joe Biden.

Jim Biden, Joe’s younger brother, called his friend Anthony Lotito for a favor. Hunter needed a new job.

Joe was getting ready to run for the Democratic presidential nomination, and his son’s work for a Washington lobbying firm would be a problem.

At least that was what Lotito later alleged in court filings. Jim and Hunter denied that a call like that ever took place. One way or another, the three of them decided in early 2006 to get into the hedge-fund business.

Owning a hedge fund in New York in the years before the financial crisis was like being a sea captain in 18th-century Nantucket. It was the thing to do.

They set their eyes on Paradigm Global Advisors, founded by James Park, who was married to the daughter of religious leader Sun Myung Moon.

Paradigm’s success was helped by the fact that the firm’s labor costs were low.

Many of its employees were Moonies who accepted rock-bottom salaries in exchange for the honor of working in close proximity to Moon’s son-in-law.

About half of its investors were Moonies as well, according to a former executive.
Financial success could not solve Park’s personal problems, however. He developed an addiction to cocaine. As his drug use began to complicate his management of Paradigm, Park went looking for a buyer. Lotito connected him with the Bidens.

Jim and Hunter offered to buy the firm out for $21 million. For financing, they leaned on family allies.

Larry Rasky, a lobbyist and longtime political adviser to Joe, was going to pitch in a million dollars in financing, though it is not clear if he ever did. The law firm SimmonsCooper, donors to Joe and business partners to Beau, did provide a million dollars in financing.

Hunter would have his new job, CEO of Paradigm, with a starting salary of $1.2 million. His experience in the financial sector amounted to a few years on the payroll of a credit-card issuer.

The former chief compliance officer of Paradigm Global Advisors says he will never forget the day in the summer of 2006 the Bidens showed up at his Midtown Manhattan offices to take control of the business.

The executive recalled that Jim and Hunter showed up with Beau and a couple of large men. The new owners ordered him to fire the firm’s president, Stephane Farouze. The large men showed Farouze out of the building.

At the time, Jim and Anthony Lotito co-owned Americore International Security, a company that employed private security guards. The company also employed a “director of cabaret security,” who oversaw the protection of nightlife establishments. The chief compliance officer recounted his experience with the Bidens on the condition that his name not appear in print.

He cited a fear of retaliation, saying he did not want large men like the ones who came to his office to come knocking on his door.

Jim had a plan. “Don’t worry about investors,” he told the executive that day. “We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.”

In case the chief compliance officer did not get the picture, Jim painted it more vividly for him: “We’ve got investors lined up in a line of 747s filled with cash ready to invest in this company.”

Beau was then in the middle of his first attorney general’s race. His face turned red with anger, the executive recalled. “This is not why we are making this investment,” Beau told his uncle. “This can never leave this room. And if you ever say it again, I will have nothing to do with this.”

Farouze did not respond to my attempts to contact him. A lawyer for Jim and Hunter said no episode like the one described by their former chief compliance officer ever occurred.

But some things are beyond dispute: While Beau followed in Joe’s footsteps, Hunter took after his uncle Jim, becoming a Biden family breadwinner.

Hunter and Jim did seek to enlist the family’s political allies as investors in Paradigm. Under their ownership, the firm became entangled in legal disputes and financial scandals before quietly winding down. And during their time at the helm of the firm, the Bidens were learning to tap the global demand for business partnerships with the relatives of a powerful American official.
https://nypost.com/2019/10/10/6-facts-about-hunter-bidens-business-dealings-in-china/
When Jim and Hunter took over Paradigm, Joe was the ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. A few months later, when Democrats took the Senate, Joe became the committee’s chairman.

The United States was near the height of its global power and prestige. Few people had more say over the running of this globe-spanning empire than Joe did.

At Paradigm, Hunter and his uncle found themselves in over their heads. Before the deal was completed, they realized that Paradigm had only a fraction of the assets under management that it purported to possess, making it far less valuable than they initially believed.

They also discovered that the lawyer they had brought on, at Lotito’s urging, to advise them on the acquisition, John Fasciana, had been convicted the year before on a dozen counts of mail and wire fraud. Jim and Hunter backed out of the deal.

The botched acquisition attempt cost them north of a million dollars. To pay back SimmonsCooper, they took out a loan from the lobbyist William Oldaker, Hunter’s old boss.

Nephew and uncle still wanted Paradigm, but for a reduced price. They decided to ditch Lotito and make Park a new offer, an $8 million IOU.

Park accepted. Given their lack of relevant experience, Jim and Hunter realized they needed Park’s help to keep the business afloat, so he stayed on.

The chief compliance officer said the collaboration was complicated by the fact that Park and Hunter were avid users of cocaine, both during work and after hours.

The executive said Hunter once offered him the drug, but he declined. “I figured that wasn’t right for a compliance officer to be doing drugs,” he said.

The executive also said that after work, Park and Hunter would sometimes go to a nearby hotel to do coke and party. He would get notifications that cash had been withdrawn from a company account from an ATM on the route between the two.

The Bidens, though, needed Park to be at the top of his game. Jim talked Park into checking into a rehab center in Florida.

Even so, Paradigm turned out to be an albatross. In January 2007, Lotito sued Jim and Hunter, saying they had improperly gone behind his back to acquire the firm.

Lotito also claimed his former business partners wielded their family’s clout as a cudgel.

“The Bidens refused to pay the bill, repeatedly citing their political connections and family status as a basis for disclaiming the obligation,” his complaint alleged.

“The Bidens threatened to use their alleged connections with a former United States Senator to retaliate against counsel for insisting that his bill be paid, claiming that the former senator was prepared to use his influence with a federal judge to disadvantage counsel in a proceeding then pending before that court.”

Nephew and uncle denied Lotito’s claims, and the case eventually settled, but more problems lay ahead.

The Lotito suit came just as Joe was preparing to announce his second White House bid. At the same time, Hunter and Jim were bringing on Chuck Provini, a veteran of the investment industry, as the firm’s new president.

Provini told me Jim and Hunter recruited him in part for political reasons. They wanted a non-Biden face atop the troubled firm.

“Joe Biden needs to distance himself from this,” they told him, “Would you consider the job?”

Jim and Hunter assured Provini that Joe’s labor connections would help them land investments from union pension funds. “I was told because of his relationships with the unions that they felt as though it would be favorably looked upon to invest in the fund,” Provini told me.

But Provini said that during his tenure, Paradigm was not able to land union pension investments. It did not help that Jim and Hunter were industry novices.

“They knew nothing about the hedge-fund business,” he said. (Provini later sued Paradigm in federal court in New Jersey, alleging it stiffed him out of salary he was owed. The case was settled.)

The chief compliance officer said his new bosses understood political relationships better than they understood the mechanics of hedge funds.
https://nypost.com/2021/07/01/hunter-biden-used-joes-vp-perks-to-pursue-deal-with-carlos-slim/
He recalled one week where a succession of firefighters paraded into the office over the course of a few days and asked to speak with him. They would offer explanations like, “We’re friends of Joe, and we want to invest in the fund.”

The men would drop off modest personal checks. A few thousand dollars here. A few thousand dollars there.

The executive learned that there was a firefighters’ convention in town, and Jim had been working the room. “Jim told people they could invest in our hedge fund and that would help Joe,” the executive recalled.

Because of legal restrictions on who can invest in hedge funds, and because Paradigm, like most similar firms, insisted that clients fork over minimum investments in the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, there was nothing he could do with the checks.

A lawyer for Jim and Hunter said no incident like this ever occurred.

Unable to attract big-time union money, Paradigm’s executives searched in vain to find an overseas bank or other foreign buyer to take the business off their hands, including in the banking haven of Switzerland. They struck out.

'10 For The Big Guy': Politico Confirms Hunter Biden's China, Ukraine Emails Are Legit

TUESDAY, SEP 21, 2021 - 04:52 PM

Several emails from Hunter Biden's laptop have been confirmed as legitimate, according to Politico, citing claims in a new book, along with emails released by a Swedish government agency.

Ben Schreckinger’s “The Bidens: Inside the First Family’s Fifty-Year Rise to Power,” out today, finds evidence that some of the purported HUNTER BIDEN laptop material is genuine, including two emails at the center of last October’s controversy.

A person who had independent access to Hunter Biden’s emails confirmed he did receive a 2015 email from a Ukrainian businessman thanking him for the chance to meet Joe Biden. The same goes for a 2017 email in which a proposed equity breakdown of a venture with Chinese energy executives includes the line, “10 held by H for the big guy?” (This person recalled seeing both emails, but was not in a position to compare the leaked emails word-for-word to the originals.)

Recall that news of Hunter Biden's laptop was broken by the New York Post shortly before the 2020 election - resulting in a multi-week Twitter ban on the outlet, and a baseless claim spread throughout the MSM and by notable Democrats including Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) that it was Russian disinformation.

Murphy notably received nearly 70,000 'likes' for his tweet calling it "likely Russian propaganda" - claiming he'd "seen the intel."

Taxpayer-funded NPR refused to even cover the story.

1632291570181.png

This story is very simple Hunter Biden dropped off three computers with liquid damage at a repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware on April 12, 2019. The owner, John Mac Issac, examined the three and determined that one was beyond recovery, one was okay and the data on the harddrive of the third could be recovered. Hunter signed the service ticket and John Paul Mac Issac repaired the hard drive and down loaded the data. During this process he saw some disturbing images and a number of emails that concerned Ukraine, Burisma, China and other issues. With the work completed, Mr. Mac Issac prepared an invoice, sent it to Hunter Biden and notified him that the computer was ready to be retrieved. Hunter did not respond. In the ensuing four months (May, June, July and August), Mr. Mac Issac made repeated efforts to contact Hunter Biden. Biden never answered and never responded. More importantly, Biden stiffed John Paul Mac Issac–i.e., he did not pay the bill.

When the manufactured Ukraine crisis surfaced in August 2019, John Paul realized he was sitting on radioactive material that might be relevant to the investigation. After conferring with his father, Mac and John Paul decided that Mac would take the information to the FBI office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mac walked into the Albuquerque FBI office and spoke with an agent who refused to give his name. Mac explained the material he had, but was rebuffed by the FBI. He was told basically, get lost. This was mid-September 2019.

Two months passed and then, out of the blue, the FBI contacted John Paul Mac Issac. Two FBI agents from the Wilmington FBI office–Joshua Williams and Mike Dzielak–came to John Paul’s business. He offered immediately to give them the hard drive, no strings attached. Agents Williams and Dzielak declined to take the device.

The laptop - while allegedly containing inappropriate photographs of underage girls - revealed that President Biden lied when he said that he had no knowledge of Hunter's business dealings - and was in fact involved with them.
In the final months of the heated 2020 presidential race, The Post revealed a trove of emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop that raised questions about his then-candidate father’s ties to his son’s foreign business ventures, including Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas company linked to corruption.

The emails revealed that the younger Biden introduced a top Burisma executive to his father, then vice president, less than a year before the elder Biden admittedly pressured Ukrainian officials into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, a Burisma board adviser, sent Hunter on April 17, 2015. -New York Post
The laptop, which was protected by the password "Hunter02" according to the Daily Mail, was considered a national security nightmare.

And according to Rudy Giuliani, there were disturbing, underage photographs of young girls found on Hunter's laptop which were turned over to police in New Castle County, Delaware. The laptop also contained videos of Hunter smoking crack and engaging in sex acts with an unidentified woman.

Unpacking this monumental election meddling is journalist Glenn Greenwald:

‘No kidding?’ Politico casually confirms major parts of Hunter Biden bombshell had legs all along

September 21, 2021 | Terresa Monroe-Hamilton | Print Article

A new book entitled “The Bidens: Inside the First Family’s Fifty-Year Rise to Power” by National Political Correspondent Ben Schreckinger at Politico is contending that two crucial emails and other materials found on Hunter Biden’s laptop are authentic.

“A person who had independent access to Hunter Biden’s emails confirmed he did receive a 2015 email from a Ukrainian businessman thanking him for the chance to meet Joe Biden. The same goes for a 2017 email in which a proposed equity breakdown of a venture with Chinese energy executives includes the line, ’10 held by H for the big guy?’” Politico reported.

The 2015 email is from Ukrainian businessman Vadym Pozharsky who thanked Hunter Biden for “giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together.” Pozharsky was an adviser to Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian natural gas company where Hunter Biden held a board position while his father was vice president.

The 2017 email was between the Biden clan and a now-defunct Chinese energy company. Biden business partner James Gillar sent the email. Hunter Biden’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski has previously claimed that it referred to Hunter Biden holding a 10 percent stake in the deal for Joe Biden.
1632292811746.png
“Emails released by a Swedish government agency also match emails in the leaked cache, and two people who corresponded with Hunter Biden confirmed emails from the cache were genuine,” the media outlet added.

Politico did hedge their bets a bit, “While the leak contains genuine files, it remains possible that fake material has been slipped in.” It should also be noted that Ben Schreckinger took a leave in December of 2020 to write the book.

1632292881103.png

The New York Post originally broke the story after they reportedly recovered the information from a laptop that Hunter Biden left at a repair shop in Delaware. He never came back for it.

The outside source remembers viewing both emails.

The verified evidence flies directly in the face of President Biden contending that he was never involved in Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

At the time of the story, which was during the run-up to the 2020 presidential election, Twitter censored the New York Post article reporting the laptop citing its hacked materials policy. The Federal Elections Commission has just ruled that Twitter was not politically motivated and therefore the censorship did not qualify as an illegal in-kind contribution to the Biden campaign. This new evidence gives pause to that ruling.

Hunter Biden has been involved in numerous drug and sex scandals. Many of his business dealings were also very shady and several were ostensibly connected to his father. Now, he’s suddenly taken up painting with his amateur splatterings going for up to $500,000 a pop. The art is being sold at galleries run by art dealer Georges Bergès. Buyers are kept anonymous and many conservatives claim it smacks of money laundering and bribery.

“There is simply no way an artist who has never even juried into a community center art fair is going to suddenly show up in New York selling art for half a million a pop,” former Office of Government Ethics head Walter Shaub flatly stated on Law & Crime’s Objections podcast in August.

Shaub told CNN in July that the brokered art was “the perfect mechanism for funneling bribes.”

The only surprise here is that it is Politico verifying the evidence:

1. EXCLUSIVE: Insider obtained emails indicating that Hunter Biden asked for a $2 million annual retainer plus "success fees" to help unfreeze Libyan assets during the Obama administration. The communications offer "a window into the mechanics of Beltway influence peddling and the stock that was put in Biden's political connections," as my colleague writes.

Here's a look at Insider's latest scoop:

Background:
The Obama administration froze up to $15 billion in assets during Muammar Gaddafi's rule. In 2015, long after Gaddafi's ouster and death, two Democratic donors with business in the Persian Gulf pitched Hunter Biden about joining their cause.
  • The two donors were frank in discussing Hunter Biden's connections: "Since he travels with dad he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where M.Q. [Gaddafi, also spelled Qaddafi] and LIA [Libya Investment Authority] had money frozen. He said he has access to highest level in PRC [China], he can help there," Sam Jauhari, one donor, wrote in January 2015 to Mohammed al-Rahbani, another donor.
Nothing appears to have come from the conversations: The White House declined to provide a statement to Insider. An attorney for al-Rahbani said his client "knows to a certainty that he never spoke to and has no recollection of talking about Hunter Biden."

Hunter Biden Tried To Charge Libya $2 Million To Recover Billions Frozen By Obama Administration: New Emails

THURSDAY, SEP 23, 2021 - 01:22 PM

Four years after Hillary Clinton famously said of executed Libyan leader Mummar Qaddafi "We came, we saw, he died," Hunter Biden, son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, offered to recover roughly $15 billion in assets which had been frozen by the Obama administration - for the tidy sum of $2 million dollars per year.

Two previously unpublished emails offer a window into Beltway influence peddling — and how a potential client viewed Hunter Biden as an "alcoholic" and "drug addict." Teresa Kroeger/Getty Images for World Food Program USA; Samantha Lee/Insider

In emails obtained by Business Insider that are not related to the laptop fiasco, the $2 million would have been for a "retainer" plus "success fees."

Via Business Insider:
The first email, dated January 28, 2015, was sent from Sam Jauhari, a Democratic donor with businesses in the Persian Gulf, who was helping spearhead the Libya project. It was addressed to Sheikh Mohammed al-Rahbani, another Obama campaign donor involved in the proposal. In the email, Jauhari is frank about what Biden would bring to the table, and what he says Biden wanted in return:

"Per phone conversation I met with #2 son. He wants $2 per year retainer +++ success fees. He wants to hire his own people - it can be close circle of people for confidentiality. His dad is deciding to run or not.

His positives are he is Chairman of UN World Food Program, son of #2 who has Libya file, access to State, Treasury, business partner SofS [Secretary of State] J. [John] Forbes K [Kerry] son and since he travels with dad he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where M. Q. [Muammar Qaddafi] and LIA [Libya Investment Authority] had money frozen. He said he has access to highest level in PRC [China], he can help there.

His negatives are that he is alcoholic, drug addict - kicked [out] of U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low class hookers, constantly needs money-liquidity problems and many more headaches.

We should meet in Gstraad or London to decide next steps."
Jauhari was incorrect that Biden was discharged from the Army - it was the Navy, and it was technically never confirmed that his positive test for cocaine was what led to the discharge.

Unpacking the email, BI's Mattahias Schwartz notes: "the tally of his "positives" reflects a keen sense of what he could offer the project. Biden's position at the United Nations meant he enjoyed face-to-face access to heads of state. In his memoir, Biden recalls a sit-down with King Abdullah II of Jordan. "The only reason the king had agreed to meet," he wrote, "was out of respect for my dad. I guess you could chalk it up to nepotism, in the best possible way.""

What's more, Biden told Jauhari that he has "access to the highest level" in the Chinese government - which has been a headache to Libya's new government which was attempting to recover the $15 billion frozen by Obama during the Qaddafi regime.

Business Insider confirmed with two people close to the negotiations that the "$2 per year retainer" meant $2 million.

"My recollection was that anything that had to do with Hunter started at $2 million," said the source.

According to other documents obtained by BI, "Jauhari and his partners expected to pocket as much as 5% of the recovered assets" - meaning a potential payday of hundreds of millions.

Talks with Hunter continued into 2016 - with a Feb 26, 2016 email between Jauhari and al-Rahbani which confirms that they were working on the deal.
The second email, dated February 26, 2016, indicates that the talks with Biden continued into the following year. In it, Jauhari and al-Rahbani receive a report by John Sandweg, a Washington lawyer who had served as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement under Obama. Sandweg had reached out to Biden's team about the Libya deal:

"I spoke with HB's team yesterday. They are interested in the project, but emphasized that for them to get involved, the team (lobbyists, lawyers and PR) would need to be a small group of folks they have a tight relationship with. They do not want a large group involved and they only want people with whom they have a close relationship with due to the sensitivities surrounding their involvement."

Sandweg, who at the time was working at a law firm called Frontier Solutions, confirmed that he was in touch with one of Biden's associates about the project. "They indicated they would consider it and I passed the message back," he told Insider. "Jauhari wound up hiring a different law firm instead."

Schwartz offers a few caveats:

Emails: Hunter Biden ‘Said He Has Access to Highest Level’ of Chinese Govt, According to Dem Donor

Hunter Biden’s newest purported Libya email dump on Thursday, unrelated to his reported laptop cache, reveals the Biden family’s connections to the “highest level” in Communist China.

The emails by Hunter’s business contact indicate Hunter, “#2 son,” demanded a $2 million dollar retainer plus “success fees” to unfreeze assets in Libya frozen by the Obama-Biden administration. They also noted Hunter’s business relationship with former Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson Chris Heinz, who founded with Hunter in 2009 Rosemont Seneca Partners, a billion-dollar private equity firm.

The first Libya email is reportedly dated January 28, 2015, nearly two years before the end of the Obama-Biden administration.

“Per phone conversation I met with #2 son. He wants $2 per year retainer +++ success fees. He wants to hire his own people – it can be close circle of people for confidentiality. His dad is deciding to run or not,” the email first read.

The email then described Hunter as an “alcoholic, drug addict” and “kicked [out] of U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low-class hookers, constantly needs money-liquidity problems and many more headaches.”

But Hunter’s business contact, Democrat donor Sam Jauhari, said Hunter’s redemptive qualities where his connection to Chris Heinz and his “access to [the] highest level” in Communist China:
His positives are he is Chairman of UN World Food Program, son of #2 who has Libya file, access to State, Treasury, business partner SofS [Secretary of State] J. [John] Forbes K [Kerry] son and since he travels with dad he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where M. Q. [Muammar Qaddafi] and LIA [Libya Investment Authority] had money frozen. He said he has access to highest level in PRC [China], he can help there.
Another email from Thursday’s report indicates the deal progressed into the following year.

“They are interested in the project,” a Washington lawyer John Sandweg wrote Jauhari, “but emphasized that for them to get involved, the team (lobbyists, lawyers and PR) would need to be a small group of folks they have a tight relationship with.”

The White House, Jauhari, and Hunter’s attorney declined to comment on the Libya emails to Business Insider.

Though the deal appears to not have come to fruition, the emails reveal the Biden’s close ties to China.

Breitbart News senior contributor and Secret Empires author Peter Schweizer told Fox News in 2019 that Hunter traveled to China with Joe Biden aboard Air Force Two. Ten days after the trip, Rosemont Seneca received a $1.5 billion deal, which Schweizer believes was funded by Communist China:

While his father is meeting with Chinese officials, Hunter Biden is doing we don’t know what.

But the evidence becomes clear because ten days after they return to Washington, his small boutique investment firm, Rosemont Seneca, gets a $1 billion deal. That’s $1 billion with a “B,” later expanded to $1.5 billion. And that deal is with the Chinese government. It’s a deal that nobody else has in China. Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, nobody.

Despite his lack of experience in financial matters, such as private equity or hedge funds, Hunter and Chris Heinz won the contract over the likes of the big banks.

“Any experience he [Hunter] has in private equity is certainly not the type that the Chinese would have interested in. And the bottom line here,” Schweizer continued, “is that in both the case of Ukraine and China, we have paper trails.

Schweizer: Hunter Biden, Joe Biden Finances Are Illegally ‘Intertwined’

PAM KEY23 Sep 2021106

View: https://youtu.be/EWLMQu3RQ1I
5:13 min

Government Accountability Institute President and host of The Drill Down podcast Peter Schweizer, on Wednesday’s edition Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle” said the finances of President Joe Biden and his son Hunter are “intertwined,” which is not legal.

Ingraham said, “One of the scandals the media laughs off is the secretive selling of Hunter Biden’s lousy artwork. We know at some point in the coming weeks, hundreds of thousands of dollars as written in The Atlantic will be funneled to the son of a sitting president, and none of us will know anything about who sent the money or where it originally came. From.”

She asked, “Peter, how likely is it that foreign buyers are going to be using this obvious opportunity to shove more money into Hunter’s pockets or other family members, mainly the president?”

Schweizer said, “I think it is very likely and if you go through the Hunter Biden emails, as I have been doing with the team for close to a year, scouring them. What you find out very quickly is that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden’s finances are intertwined. They are not separate entities.

There are numerous examples of Hunter Biden is paying bills for his father. Which, by the way, is not legal. Politicians can get occasional gifts from family members, but you cannot subsidize the lifestyle of a politician. That is what Hunter Biden is doing.”

He added, “When Hunter Biden is doing foreign deals, whether they are these deals in Beijing where he gets checks for $5 million and there’s no evidence he really did anything, or whether he’s putting together a painting and putting that up for sale, at the end of the day the way the business model works in the Biden family is that the finances are intertwined. Joe Biden will benefit one way or another from what they are doing. Let’s be clear, Hunter Biden’s friend, this gallery owner that is going to be selling his artwork, has spoken in the past about the desire to have ambitious plans to seek and find buyers in China.”

Report: Hunter Biden Remains Invested in a Communist China-Linked Business

Hunter Biden on Monday reportedly remains invested in a Communist China-linked entity months after President Biden claimed his family would divest from foreign business interests.

White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates told the Washington Examiner he could not comment on the reported stake, referring the publication to White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s past “comments and Hunter Biden’s representatives” for details on the matter.

Hunter is “working to unload that” foreign entanglement, Psaki said most recently in July. “But I would certainly point you — he’s a private citizen. I would point you to him or his lawyers on the outside on any update.”

Three Chinese business websites indicate Hunter is a “sponsor/shareholder” with three “million yuan ($464,000) invested in the company, purportedly comprising a 10% stake in the China-based business venture,” the Examiner detailed.

The firm in which Hunter is reportedly invested, Skaneateles, is said to have “access to tens or hundreds of millions of dollars for Chinese and global investments and set up a complicated web of China-based and Cayman Island shell companies and subsidiaries.”

Such a vast financial network of elitist vehicles to move money around the globe without regulation by United States’ authorities speaks to how Hunter and his father may be compromised by Communist China or other foreign powers and individuals.

And with Hunter’s new found love of “art,” potentially selling his watercolors to anonymous investors for up to $500,000 through an art dealer who has coveted Chinese connections, congressional lawmakers may take interest in the Cayman Islands shell companies.

In October of 2019, then candidate Biden stated no member of his family will have a “business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country”
“Period. Period. End of story,” Biden claimed.

But the White House’s inability to answer simple questions and revealed emails since Biden began his presidential campaign indicate Biden lied.

Most recently, Politico reporter Ben Schreckinger corroborated that Biden’s family is more like a crime family at the head of the United States’ government:
I spoke to someone who for a time had some independent access to Hunter Biden’s emails. They say he did receive an email from a Ukrainian businessman thanking him [Hunter] for a chance to meet his father, and that he did receive an email from a business partner, laying out the proposed equity structure for a venture with some Chinese business executives, which includes the line, ‘ten held by H for the big guy.’
With the establishment media beginning to turn on the Biden family’s reported enrichment scheme, it is unknown how long the Democrat Party will turn a blind eye to the reported corruption.

Breitbart News senior contributor and Secret Empires author Peter Schweizer told Fox News in 2019 that Hunter went to Communist China with Joe on Air Force Two. Ten days after the trip, Hunter’s company, Rosemont Seneca, received a $1.5 billion deal, which Schweizer believes was funded by China:

“Any experience he [Hunter] has in private equity is certainly not the type that the Chinese would have interested in. And the bottom line here,” Schweizer explained, “is that in both the case of Ukraine and China, we have paper trails.”

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden Colleague Who Arranged China Officials’ Meeting with Joe Biden in the White House Has Connections to the Mob

By Joe Hoft
Published September 29, 2021 at 8:00am
Gary-Fears-2.jpg

A colleague of Hunter Biden’s, who arranged a visit of a group of Chinese with Vice President Joe Biden in the White House, is connected to the mob.

Last year in September, before the 2020 Election, a report was produced that showed that Hunter Biden had indeed brought Chinese officials into the White House in 2011 to meet with Joe Biden:
Evidence is mounting that former Vice President Joe Biden not only knew his man-child son, Hunter Biden, was profiting from his powerful perch in government, but that Joe Biden himself may have financially benefited from these arrangements.

A new story of Biden family corruption has emerged, and it is independent of the New York Post bombshell last week about the emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Breitbart News editor and president of the Government Accountability Institute Peter Schweizer broke the news on Friday that associates of Hunter Biden quickly arranged a White House meeting in November 2011 for a delegation of Chinese business leaders and Communist Party officials. This visit apparently included a meeting with the vice president himself.
The article went on to discuss a man named Gary Fears who was connected to Hunter and helped arrange the White House meeting with Joe Biden and Chinese officials:

On November 5, 2011, Gary Fears, a business associate of Biden and Archer, forwarded an email he had received from Mohammed Khashoggi, who was acting as an intermediary to Archer on behalf of the China Entrepreneur Club (CEC).
Khashoggi’s email, dated Oct. 19, 2011, told Fears that the CEC would like to send, as Schweizer and Bruner described it, a delegation of “Chinese billionaires, Chinese Communist Party loyalists, and at least one ‘respected diplomat’ from Beijing” to Washington for a White House visit.

If Fears and his associates could make this happen, Khashoggi wrote, it would be a great opportunity for the group (Biden, Archer, Fears) to attract “potentially outstanding new clients” and would provide them with “good access to [the Chinese] for any deal in the future.”
Fears and company arranged the meeting and it took place on November 14, 2011. The article notes:
Biden and Archer apparently reaped the rewards from this meeting two years later. In 2013, Schweizer and Bruner wrote, the Chinese government founded the Bohai Harvest Investment fund. Two U.S. investment companies, Thornton Group LLC and Rosemont Seneca Partners, were selected to participate in this venture. It should come as no surprise that Hunter Biden was associated with both.

What’s gone unnoticed until today, is that Gary Fears has a history of dealing with risky clients.

According to a long dossier on Fears’s actions related to a Soviet airplane abandoned in the US, Fears was the one claiming ownership of the plane, described as a:
“gargantuan Soviet military aircraft worth millions of dollars that has been stranded for the better part of the last year [2009] at a former U.S. Air Force”.
According to a report in the stlreporter from May of 2010, Fears was part owner of Air Support Systems LLC which owned the Soviet plane sitting in the US. The problem was no one was paying the bills to maintain the plane in Texas, sitting on an airport runway.
Victor Miller, owner of Air 1 Flight Services of Sherman, Texas, filed suit against Air Support Systems LLC in June 2009, alleging that the company owed more than $70,000 in maintenance fees accrued during the two-anda-half years the plane was mothballed at the North Texas Regional Airport. After the Ukrainian crew took off with the plane the next month, it was grounded in Michigan, as a result of a restraining order, before it could leave U.S. airspace.

The registered owner of the plane is Gary R. Fears, a former Downstate Illinois powerbroker who now resides in South Florida. Fears dismisses the imbroglio over the plane as much ado about nothing.
Fears filed for bankruptcy rather than pay the $70,000 in fees amassed in Texas. When he did this he outed the creditors linked to his company :
The leaseholder of the plane is North American Tactical Aviation Inc. (NATA), a corporation with the same Wilmington, Delaware, address as Air Support Systems LLC, a Fears-owned company with one asset: the grounded plane. That the corporations share the same Delaware incorporation address could easily be attributed to coincidence, but bankruptcy records filed on behalf of Air Support Systems in St. Louis last fall provide more details as to who invested money in the aircraft or lent money for its purchase.

The outstanding creditors listed in the filing include a private mercenary group, a shadowy front company in Gibraltar and an Illinois gambling executive with alleged ties to the Chicago mob. On October 23, a judge in Marquette County,

Michigan, ruled in Miller’s favor and awarded him the plane as payment for the unpaid debt. To prevent the tanker from being taken, Fears countered by filing for Chapter 11 protection for Air Support Systems on October 28 in federal bankruptcy court in St. Louis.
Before being involved in the purchase of the Soviet super plane, Fears was involved in casinos, in Illinois and Florida:
For Gary Fears, his interest in the development of casinos began in Illinois where the political fundraiser and real estate developer made a score as one of the original investors in Argosy Gaming, operators of the Alton Belle Riverboat casino.
This was reported back in 2001. This is the same guy who a decade later was involved with China leaders visiting Joe Biden in the White House. You just can’t make this stuff up.

(This was first reported by Joe Hoft at Real Talk 93.3 ‘Tomorrow’s News Today’ this morning.)

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: More on Hunter Biden’s Mobster Friend Who Arranged Meeting with Chinese Leaders and VP Biden in the White House

Why has no one reported this? Hunter Biden worked with a presumed mobster, who’s friends were mobsters, to line up a meeting with a group of Chinese leaders and Joe Biden in the White House.

Yesterday we reported a crazy story about a guy from Illinois and the St. Louis area who was involved with lining up a meeting between some Chinese leaders and Joe Biden in the White House. The Illinois guy was Gary Fears who had business associates who were believed to be members of the mob.

Today we have more on Mr. Fears.

In November 2011, Gary Fears had dealings with Tucson businessman Gary Triano. The middle aged Triano was killed when his car blew up with him in it.

Although it was later claimed that Triano’s death was not connected to the mob, it was first suspected that the mob and specifically Gary Fears had ordered a hit on Triano due to the debt he owed Fears.
…Sheriff Clarence Dupnik himself told the media five days after the bombing Triano’s death “has all the markings of a mob hit.”…

…Several of Triano’s business associates had a motive to kill him, Herberg said, including Gary Fears, who was suspected of ordering two other murders. Herberg described Fears as the head of a non-La Cosa Nostra organized crime group and said Triano was preparing to sue Fears for $10 million over a failed business venture.

“Gary Triano was investigated for money laundering, skimming, and filed bankruptcy to discharge millions in lawful debt. Under the circumstances of numerous organized crime connections, it is reasonable to infer that Gary Triano had debts beyond the lawful debts discharged in bankruptcy in June 1996. Gary Triano was also threatening the interests of organized crime people,” Herberg wrote.
This same Gary Fears, who was not assigned to any relationship to Triano’s murder, is the same guy that Hunter used to connect Chinese leaders to VP Joe Biden in the White House.

Hunter Biden and the Muslim Brotherhood
Only a Biden could bring Communist China and the Brotherhood together.

Fri Oct 1, 2021
Daniel Greenfield

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

While Vice President Joe Biden was in the White House, his son Hunter was allegedly trying to cut a huge deal with a $2 million payment and a possible 5% success fee as high as $750 million. All it would take was bringing together Communist China and the Muslim Brotherhood.

And who but a Biden could pull that off?

The UN Security Council sanctions that had been slapped on the Libyan Investment Authority during the civil war between Gaddafi and the Islamists were still in place years later because the Arab Spring had left the country in the throes of a permanent civil war with the Islamists.

The LIA's wealth fund, now worth an estimated $68 billion, had been part of a deal cut between the Libyan dictator and the Bush administration. When Gaddafi abandoned his WMD program, and sanctions were dropped on Libya, the LIA quickly became one of Africa's largest wealth funds, and bought big, investing in American companies, banks, and bonds.

Including billions in treasury bills.

When Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood stabbed Gaddafi in the back and went to war to support the Muslim Brotherhood’s takeover of Libya, tens of billions in LIA assets were frozen. And as the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists have continued to battle the remnants of Libya’s military for power, the sanctions have remained in place costing the LIA some $4 billion.

When Sam Jauhari, a Democrat donor, sent the email, indicating that Hunter wanted $2 million to lobby on the deal, his father had long been seen as the gateway to all that wealth.

Jauhari, who had plowed $80,000 into the Obama campaign, and tens of thousands more into the Democrat machine, was allegedly an associate of Imaad Zuberi, a Pakistani who had been working on Libya with Biden’s body man and close friend. Earlier this year, Zuberi was sentenced to 12 years in prison for funneling foreign money into political campaigns in the United States. Among his alleged employers was the Qatari Islamic terror state and a prosecutor alleged that "U.S. policy was changed to align with Qatar’s interests.

Prosecutors say that Zuberi received $9.8 million from the Qatari state sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood. He had also allegedly funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Saudi Muslim tycoon to the Obama inauguration. His WhatsApp messages have him mentioning, "I need to get the 5 to 6 Clinton donation done by tomorrow" and “You want billions unfrozen. This is nothing. Iranians spent $150 to get $25 billion released."

His recipient complains, "I spent 2.6 million before. What did I get?"

The names of the Libyan officials have been censored, but the deal appeared to involve the Tripoli government. At the time the deals were being discussed, the Tripoli government was largely dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood. Control over LIA had been a top Muslim Brotherhood priority and the LIA allegedly includes at least one Brotherhood board member.

The first email about retaining Hunter Biden was sent in January 2015. In 2012, a Muslim Brotherhood alliance had conspired to take power through fraudulent elections in Libya. In 2014, the Brotherhood alliance, after repeatedly using Islamist militias to terrorize its rivals in Tripoli, lost new elections and declared that it would continue to govern anyway.

When the Hunter Biden emails were being sent, Libya had two rival governments, the Muslim Brotherhood in Tripoli and a more moderate coalition in Tobruk. The rival governments also staked their own claims to Libya’s wealth whose crown jewel were the LIA’s investments.

While the released court documents of Zuberi’s WhatsApp chats were censored to remove the names and identities of any of the players, he asks at one point, "Does the Libyans want me to introduce them to Turkish president?" Turkey was a strong backer of the Tripoli regime. It’s highly unlikely that political figures in the Tobruk government would have been looking for an introduction to their worst enemy. The Muslim Brotherhood however was backed by Turkey.

The Biden email however provides an even bigger clue when it notes that Hunter “said he has access to highest level in PRC, he can help there.”

The Muslim Brotherhood had gotten Obama and Hillary Clinton to intervene in Libya. That illegal invasion enabled them to take power, but as part of the crisis, sanctions had been imposed by the United Nations. And Obama and Hillary were not able to unilaterally lift those sanctions.

The sanctions had been imposed by the UN Security Council. And could only be lifted by it.

The People’s Republic of China had been a major player in Libya. When the civil war arrived, it sided with Gaddafi and once he was overthrown, Chinese oil companies were frozen out. Getting China to support lifting some sanctions would require a quid pro quo arrangement that would let the PRC’s oil companies and other businesses back into Libya.

Hunter Biden’s ties to CEFC China Energy and the gift of an eighty thousand dollar diamond have already been widely reported. A CEFC executive would later be accused of plotting to provide weapons to Qatar and Libya. Qatar was a major backer of the Brotherhood.

Even without Hunter's diplomatic talents, China and the Islamist government came to terms.

But the China factor explains why the Libyans considered Hunter Biden as an intermediary at all. The Biden family was a perfect halfway point between the Muslim Brotherhood and the People’s Republic. Both the Islamists and the Communists had invested in the Biden clan.

What was really at stake here was a quid pro quo oil deal in exchange for the LIA lockbox of billions that had to be negotiated through the White House and UN Security Council members. It was a thorny problem which the Libyans still don’t seem to have cracked, and it’s unlikely that Hunter Biden could have managed to appease all the different interests if he had gotten the job.

The Zuberi messages mention that, "the negotiation is towards 3.5 to 4% or it will not fly... they said that they have 190 billion outside and they will not give 5%." It’s not clear whether Hunter would have seen any part of that 5%, or whether the WhatsApp messages refer to any deal involving him at the time, but either way there was a whole lot of money at stake.

The Libyan civil war was not just ideological, but economic. The Arab Spring had become a vehicle for not only Islamist theological ambitions, but the economic agendas of its backers.

"Hey read the book Clinton Cash," Zuberi told an associate. "This is how America work. How Washington work."

It’s certainly how the Bidens work. In an already fetid swamp, the Bidens added a new layer of treasonous greed. Only the Bidens could have been up for potentially being hired by the Muslim Brotherhood to cut a deal with Communist China.

As long as the money from America’s enemies was right.

White House Continues Stalling on Whether Hunter Biden Divested Shares of Chinese Equity Firm

CHARLIE SPIERING4 Oct 202159

The White House continued stonewalling Monday in response to questions about President Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s ten percent stake in a Chinese firm.

“I’d point you to his representatives on that, he doesn’t work in the administration,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during the daily press briefing, in response to questions from Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson about Hunter’s foreign investments in China.

Since Biden became president, Psaki has continued dodging questions about Hunter’s ten percent equity stake in Bohai Harvest RST.

In February, Psaki said that Hunter Biden was “working to unwind his investment” but reminded reporters that the president’s son was still a “private citizen.”

In July, Psaki said Hunted Biden was still “working to unload” his shares, but had no update.

Hunter Biden’s shares in the company raise ethical concerns about President Biden, as he continues softening his China approach.

But Psaki was unwilling to say more about the process, when pressed by a reporter for details.

“I conveyed to you, and then I think I’m going to have to move on, that you should talk to his representatives … that remains his policy, he’s been working to wind that down,” Psaki replied.

When pressed on the question, Psaki told Robinson “there was no reason to yell” even though the Robinson was not raising her voice.

Biden asserted during the 2020 presidential campaign that no one in his family would “have any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country. Period. Period. End of story.”

In December 2020, Biden again promised to keep his family business separate from government.

“My son, my family will not be involved in any business, any enterprise that is in conflict with or appears to be in conflict with an appropriate distance from the presidency and government,” Biden said in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper in December 2020.
