Chuck Grassley Shows Document Exposing More Hunter Biden Biz Connections To Chinese Communist Regime
More evidence against the Biden Crime Family

BY JEREMY PORTER
DECEMBER 1, 2021

While the Biden administration has enough on its plate with Joe Biden himself, another member of the family is also causing controversy for the White House. Thanks to a new book called “Laptop from Hell” by Miranda Devine, Americans are getting a fresh look at the man President Biden helped raise, Hunter Biden.

Although the White House claims that President Biden was ignorant in his son’s dealings, Hunter had an impressive career in helping China. He was a founding board member for an investment business that helped a Chinese company secure one of the richest cobalt mines in the Congo. And if you were wondering, before the Chinese got their hands on it thanks to Hunter Biden, it was owned by an American corporation.

The story of Hunter goes deeper as a report shows that he was involved in a $3.8 billion deal for one of the world’s largest cobalt deposits. And again, another key player in that purchase was a Chinese conglomerate. For those wondering why Hunter loves cobalt so much, it might be due to the metal being the main ingredient in batteries used for – electric cars.

And while the business dealings of Hunter go further, Senator Chuck Grassley spoke on the Senate floor yesterday. He demanded that the Democrats stop shying away from the President’s son and open an investigation.

Inside the 'Misinformation' Wars

On Friday afternoons this fall, top American news executives have dialed into a series of off-the-record Zoom meetings led by Harvard academics whose goal is to “help newsroom leaders fight misinformation and media manipulation.”

Those are hot topics in the news industry right now, and so the program at Harvard University’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy drew an impressive roster of executives at CNN, NBC News, The Associated Press, Axios and other major U.S. outlets.

A couple of them, though, told me they were puzzled by the reading package for the first session.

It consisted of a Harvard case study, which a participant shared with me, examining the coverage of Hunter Biden’s lost laptop in the final days of the 2020 campaign. The story had been pushed by aides and allies of then-President Donald Trump who tried to persuade journalists that the hard drive’s contents would reveal the corruption of the father.

The news media’s handling of that narrative provides “an instructive case study on the power of social media and news organizations to mitigate media manipulation campaigns,” according to the Shorenstein Center summary.

The Hunter Biden laptop saga sure is instructive about something. As you may recall, panicked Trump allies frantically dumped its contents onto the internet and into reporters’ inboxes, a trove that apparently included embarrassing images and emails purportedly from the candidate’s son showing that he had tried to trade on the family name. The big social media platforms, primed for a repeat of the WikiLeaks 2016 election shenanigans, reacted forcefully: Twitter blocked links to a New York Post story that tied Joe Biden to the emails without strong evidence (though Twitter quickly reversed that decision) and Facebook limited the spread of the Post story under its own “misinformation” policy.

But as it now appears, the story about the laptop was an old-fashioned, politically motivated dirty tricks campaign, and describing it with the word “misinformation” doesn’t add much to our understanding of what happened. While some of the emails purportedly on the laptop have since been called genuine by at least one recipient, the younger Biden has said he doesn’t know if the laptop in question was his. And the “media manipulation campaign” was a threadbare, 11th-hour effort to produce a late-campaign scandal, an attempt at an October Surprise that has been part of nearly every presidential campaign I’ve covered.

The Wall Street Journal, as I reported at the time, looked hard at the story. Unable to prove that Joe Biden had tried, as vice president, to change U.S. policy to enrich a family member, the Journal refused to tell it the way the Trump aides wanted, leaving that spin to the right-wing tabloids. What remained was a murky situation that is hard to call “misinformation,” even if some journalists and academics like the clarity of that label. The Journal’s role was, in fact, a pretty standard journalistic exercise, a blend of fact-finding and the sort of news judgment that has fallen a bit out of favor as journalists have found themselves chasing social media.

While some academics use the term carefully, “misinformation” in the case of the lost laptop was more or less synonymous with “material passed along by Trump aides.” And in that context, the phrase “media manipulation” refers to any attempt to shape news coverage by people whose politics you dislike. (Emily Dreyfuss, a fellow at the Technology and Social Change Project at the Shorenstein Center, told me that “media manipulation,” despite its sinister ring, is “not necessarily nefarious.”)

The focus on who’s saying something, and how they’re spreading their claims, can pretty quickly lead Silicon Valley engineers to slap the “misinformation” label on something that is, in plainer English, true.

Shorenstein’s research director, Joan Donovan, who is leading the program and raised its funding from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, said that the Hunter Biden case study was “designed to cause conversation — it’s not supposed to leave you resolved as a reader.”

Donovan, a force on Twitter and a longtime student of the shadiest corners of the internet, said she defines “misinformation” as “false information that’s being spread.” She strongly objected to my suggestion that the term lacks a precise meaning.

She added that, appearances aside, she doesn’t believe the word is merely a left-wing label for things that Democrats don’t like. Instead, she traces the modern practice of “disinformation” (that is, deliberate misinformation) to the anti-corporate activists the Yes Men, famous for hoaxed corporate announcements and other stunts, and the “culture jamming” of Adbusters. But their tools, she wrote, have been adopted by “foreign operatives, partisan pundits, white supremacists, violent misogynists, grifters and scammers.”

Donovan is among the scholars who have tried to unravel the knotty information tangle of contemporary politics. She’s currently a compulsive consumer of Steve Bannon’s influential podcast, “War Room.” Like many of the journalists and academics who study our chaotic media environment, she has zeroed in on the way that trolls and pranksters developed tactics for angering and tricking people online over the first half of the last decade, and how those people brought their tactics to the right-wing reactionary politics in the decade’s second half.

To the people paying close attention, this new world was riveting and dangerous — and it was maddening that outsiders couldn’t see what was happening. For these information scholars, widespread media manipulation seemed like the main event of recent years, the main driver of millions of people’s beliefs, and the main reason Trump and people like him won elections all over the world. But this perspective, while sometimes revelatory, may leave little space for other causes of political action, or for other types of political lies, like the U.S. government’s long deception on its progress in the war in Afghanistan.

What had been a niche preoccupation has now been adopted by people who have spent somewhat less time on 4chan than Donovan. Broadcaster Katie Couric recently led the Aspen Institute’s Commission on Information Disorder. I moderated a panel at Bloomberg’s New Economy Forum with a different, somewhat dental, label for the same set of issues, “truth decay.” (The Rand Corp. seems to have coined that one, though T Bone Burnett did release an album by that name in 1980.) There, an Australian senator, Sarah Hanson-Young, said she thought the biggest culprit in misleading her fellow citizens about climate change had been Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp — hardly a new issue, or one that needs a new name. The New York Post’s insistence that the emails prove Joe Biden’s corruption, and not just his son’s influence peddling, are part of the same partisan genre.

This hints at a weakness of the new focus on misinformation: It’s a technocratic solution to a problem that’s as much about politics as technology. The new social media-fueled right-wing populists lie a lot, and stretch the truth more. But as American reporters quizzing Trump’s fans on camera discovered, his audience was often in on the joke. And many of the most offensive things he said weren’t necessarily lies — they were just deeply ugly to half the country, including most of the people running news organizations and universities.

It’s more comfortable to reckon with an information crisis — if there’s anything we’re good at, it’s information — than a political one. If only responsible journalists and technologists could explain how misguided Trump’s statements were, surely the citizenry would come around. But these well-meaning communications experts never quite understood that the people who liked him knew what was going on, laughed about it and voted for him despite, or perhaps even because of, the times he went “too far.”

Harper’s Magazine recently published a broadside against “Big Disinfo,” contending that the think tanks raising money to focus on the topic were offering a simple solution to a political crisis that defies easy explanation and exaggerating the power of Facebook in a way that, ultimately, served Facebook most of all. The author, Joseph Bernstein, argued that the journalists and academics who specialize in exposing instances of disinformation seem to believe they have a particular claim on truth. “However well-intentioned these professionals are, they don’t have special access to the fabric of reality,” he wrote.

In fact, I’ve found many of the people worrying about our information diets are reassuringly modest about how far the new field of misinformation studies is going to take us. Donovan calls it “a new field of data journalism,” but said she agreed that “this part of the field needs to get better at figuring out what’s true or false.” The Aspen report acknowledged “that in a free society there are no ‘arbiters of truth.’” They’re putting healthy new pressure on tech platforms to be transparent in how claims — true and false — spread.

The editor-in-chief of The Texas Tribune, Sewell Chan, one of the Harvard course’s participants, said he didn’t think the program had a political slant, adding that it “helped me understand the new forms of mischief making and lie peddling that have emerged.”

“That said, like the term ‘fake news,’ misinformation is a loaded and somewhat subjective term,” he said. “I’m more comfortable with precise descriptions.”

I also feel the push and pull of the information ecosystem in my own journalism, as well as the temptation to evaluate a claim by its formal qualities — who is saying it and why — rather than its substance. Last April, for instance, I tweeted about what I saw as the sneaky way that anti-China Republicans around Trump were pushing the idea that COVID-19 had leaked from a lab.

There were informational red flags galore. But media criticism (and I’m sorry you’ve gotten this far into a media column to read this) is skin-deep. Below the partisan shouting match was a more interesting scientific shouting match (which also made liberal use of the word “misinformation”). And the state of that story now is that scientists’ understanding of the origins of COVID-19 is evolving and hotly debated, and we’re not going to be able to resolve it on Twitter.

The story of tech platforms helping to spread falsehoods is still incredibly important, as is the work of identifying stealthy social media campaigns from Washington to, as my colleague Davey Alba recently reported, Nairobi. And the COVID-19 pandemic also gave everyone from Mark Zuckerberg to my colleagues at The New York Times a new sense of urgency about, for instance, communicating the seriousness of the pandemic and the safety of vaccines in a media landscape littered with false reports.

But politics isn’t a science. We don’t need to mystify the old-fashioned practice of news judgment with a new terminology. There’s a danger in adopting jargony new frameworks we haven’t really thought through. The job of reporters isn’t, ultimately, to put neat labels on the news. It’s to report out what’s actually happening, as messy and unsatisfying as that can be.

Why Congress must investigate Hunter Biden
And all those protecting him
Illustration on investigating Hunter Biden by Alexander Hunter/The Washington Times
Illustration on investigating Hunter Biden by Alexander Hunter/The Washington Times
By Newt Gingrich - - Monday, December 6, 2021

OPINION:
Despite every effort of the Biden administration, the Justice Department, the Congressional Democrats, and the propaganda media, Hunter Biden will end up being investigated – and the impact on President Joe Biden, his administration, and his legacy is going to be enormous.

As more stories about Hunter Biden’s meetings with foreign agents in Serbia, China, and elsewhere come out, serious scrutiny will become unavoidable.

The evidence is overwhelming that Hunter Biden’s activities in Ukraine, Russia, and China have direct national security implications. We simply do not know how much the Biden

administration’s weakness toward Communist China is influenced by the Chinese corruption of the Biden family and its allies. We do not know how much Vladimir Putin has been emboldened by his knowledge of the corruption of Hunter Biden – and through him, the governing family of the United States.

There has been a complete absence of honesty and inquiry from the FBI and the Justice Department. It is amazing that the Hunter Biden laptop has not already led to an indictment of President Biden’s son for a series of amazing influence-peddling schemes.

Sadly, the U.S. Attorney for Delaware, where the laptop was found and where the Bidens live, has shown no interest in pursuing a case which involves public corruption at the highest levels.

The FBI has had the laptop, and yet nothing has been done to pursue the clear corruption outlined in the various emails it contains.

Hunter Biden’s irresponsible marketing of “a unique relationship” with the Vice President during the Obama years (then with a presidential candidate, and now with the President) has enormous national security implications.

It is no accident that Hunter was actively seeking business in Communist China, Putin’s Russia, and Ukraine. These were countries keenly interested in developing influence in Washington, and it seems they felt they were getting real access and impact through Hunter and his family.

Former U.S. Navy Lt. Tony Bobulinski has had virtually all his allegations of Biden corruption validated by the emails discovered in the Hunter Biden laptop. His allegations clearly implicated the President and his son – and suggest a Biden family mired in the most venal kinds of corruption. It resembles the scene from “Jerry Maguire” in which Tom Cruise has to repeatedly yell “show me the money” to convince his football-playing client to keep him as his agent.

Imagine the contempt with which Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian bribers must have looked at the cocaine-using prostitute-hiring son of a major national politician as they paid him again and again for influence.

Ask yourself: Is it at all plausible that all this foreign money and business was coming to Hunter Biden – a clearly unqualified, deeply troubled, and totally unprepared broker – and Joe Biden did not ask about it, look into it, or ask staff to monitor what Hunter was doing?

If Joe Biden knew, he is clearly implicated in corruption involving foreign powers. If he willfully avoided knowing, it would be a sign of parental indifference and determined neglect that seems almost impossible to believe.

While the Congressional Democrats and the Biden executive branch may refuse to investigate the corruption revealed by the laptop – and a range of other sources – a Republican Congress in 2023 should feel obligated to thoroughly explore the potential corruption.

It is vital that any investigation include Hunter Biden and his associates (which may or may not include his father). It should also look into the network of cover-up officials who were clearly failing to do their duty and the widespread collection of traditional and social media collaborators who consciously suppressed and lied about Hunter Biden’s corruption.

How could the FBI have avoided taking apart the Hunter Biden laptop and tracking down the details found in the emails?

How could the authorities have avoided tracking the Vice President’s son as he dealt with nations actively dangerous to America?

What officials made the decisions to avoid looking and avoid knowing?

Not since Hillary Clinton deleted more than 33,000 emails while her staff used a hammer to literally destroy the hard drives on her computer has there been such a willful avoidance of knowledge by law enforcement officials.

When you compare the Justice Department’s benign neglect of Clinton and Hunter Biden with its illegal overreach in pursuing what we now know was a totally phony Russian dossier designed to smear President Donald Trump, it is clear something is profoundly sick in our federal criminal justice system.

I will talk more about this in an upcoming column – and an upcoming podcast episode with Miranda Devine, who just wrote, Laptop from Hell. Devine’s work – and the work of other watchdogs – virtually guarantees that Hunter Biden will face both Congressional and criminal justice scrutiny.

The investigation must and will occur.

The only questions are how soon and by whom.

Irony Alert: Joe Biden to Tackle Political Corruption With New ‘5 Pillar Strategy’
By Debra Heine
ag-mark_90833ec2.svg

December 6, 2021
The Biden administration Monday unveiled a “5-pillar strategy” to combat corruption in the U.S. and abroad, including the same type of “pay-to-play” corruption the Biden family has become famous for over the years.

Joe Biden—also known as “the Big Guy” who got a 10 percent cut in his family’s grifting schemes, according to his son’s laptop—said in a statement in June that he would establish a program to fight against corruption as a crucial national security interest. “Corruption threatens United States national security, economic equity, global antipoverty and development efforts, and democracy itself,” he said at the time.

The regime’s five pillar strategy involves, “modernizing, coordinating and resourcing U.S. government efforts to fight corruption; curbing illicit finance; holding corrupt actors accountable; preserving and strengthening the multilateral anti-corruption architecture; and improving diplomatic engagement and leveraging foreign assistance resources to fight corruption,” Fox Business reports.

The strategy document lays out several different types of corruption that the regime will target in their investigations.
  • Grand corruption: when political elites steal large sums of public funds or otherwise abuse power for personal or political advantage.
  • Administrative corruption: the abuse of entrusted power for private gain — usually by low- to mid-level government officials — in interactions with citizens and the private sector, including to skirt official regulations and extort citizens in exchange for their basic services.
  • Kleptocracy: a government controlled by officials who use political power to appropriate the wealth of its nation. Can include state capture.
  • State capture: when private entities improperly and corruptly influence a country’s decision-making process for their own benefit.
  • Strategic corruption: when a government weaponizes corrupt practices as a tenet of its foreign policy.
If the administration’s plan seems to have a whiff of hypocrisy to it, that’s because the Biden family has spent decades grifting off of Joe Biden’s political career, first when he was a U.S. senator from Delaware, then when he was vice president of the United States—and Joe Biden himself allegedly got a 10 percent cut in the deals.

According to an excerpt in the NY Post from Miranda Devine’s new book, Laptop From Hell, Biden joined his son, Hunter, and brother, Jim, for a meeting with their prospective business partner Tony Bobulinski at the Los Angeles Beverly Hilton hotel in 2017, when he was in town for a global conference.
On May 2, 2017, at around 11 p.m. Biden — then just months removed from serving as vice president — sauntered into the Beverly Hilton lobby to vet Bobulinski.

Prior to the meeting, Devine wrote, Jim Biden explained to Bobulinski that the meeting would be strictly “high level.” Hunter Biden added, “We will not go into any detail about the business. I just want my dad to be comfortable with you.”

During the ensuing meeting, Joe Biden and Bobulinski shared their backgrounds, got acquainted with one another, and spoke in generalities about the prospective deal with now-defunct Chinese government-linked energy conglomerate CEFC China.

It reportedly went well and resulted in Biden saying, “My son and my brother trust you emphatically, so I trust you.”

In the book, Devine explained that Biden was the “final decision-maker” and that “nothing important was done without his agreement.”

And so, with Joe’s approval, the plan to incorporate SinoHawk Holdings LLC moved forward. It would be a global investment firm kick-started with $10 million in Chinese money split 50/50 between Biden’s business group and CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming.
An email obtained by the Post last year detailed the “remuneration packages” for six individuals involved in the Biden family’s overseas business griftocracy.

The “provisional agreement” outlined in the email for the distribution of equity included “20” for “Jim,” “20” for “H [Hunter],” and “10 held by H for the big guy?”

Before the 2020 election, Bobulinski revealed that the “big guy” mentioned in the explosive email was unquestionably Joe Biden, but the corporate media looked the other way.

According to Devine, the family protected Joe Biden by keeping him away from the details of deal with China, so he could claim “plausible deniability.” Indeed, during the 2020 election, Biden falsely claimed that he had “never spoken to [his ]son about his overseas business dealings.”

“The Bidens made a full-sized scandal disappear, with the help of media members who did not want the public to see it,” constitutional law Professor Johnathan Turley recently opined at Fox News. “Twitter banned links to reports about the laptop until after Biden was elected president.

The media dismissed the story as a ‘conspiracy theory’ with some mocking to boot.”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday refused to comment on Hunter Biden’s alleged divestment from an investment fund controlled by Chinese state-owned entities or confirm that Hunter’s infamous lost laptop is authentic when pressed by a NY Post reporter.
Hunter Biden’s attorney said last month — less than a week after President Biden’s virtual summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping — that his client had finally divested his 10 percent stake in the firm, called BHR Partners, but offered no further details on the identity of the buyer or the transaction terms.
The Post asked Psaki at Monday’s White House briefing, in light of the Biden administration’s new report addressing corruption, if she would “commit to basic transparency about that transaction, including the name of the buyer, the dollar amount and the timing.”

“The president’s son is not an employee of the federal government,” Psaki replied airily. “So I’d point you to his representatives.”

As for Devine’s book, “I’ve neither had the time or the interest in exploring or reading the book,” Psaki intoned, before quickly moving on to another reporter.

When the Post reporter fired back that “the first son’s attorney didn’t give any information on the transaction,” Psaki repeated herself and shut down his line of questioning.

Judge rules against Project Veritas, protects Ashley Biden…

Judge declines to unseal records about raid on Project Veritas founder

The FBI seized cellphones in the early-morning, Nov. 6 raid on the apartment of Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe in Mamaroneck., N.Y., as part of an investigation that appears to center on the alleged theft of a diary belonging to Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden.

The use of a search warrant to seize O’Keefe’s records raised the hackles of some First Amendment advocates, who said O’Keefe’s activities likely qualify for protection for members of the news media under federal law and Justice Department regulations.

The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press formally asked the court to unseal the search warrant materials, including the application that federal prosecutors and the FBI submitted when seeking permission.

However, Judge Sarah Cave ruled Tuesday that the records should remain under seal for now.

Cave cited Ashley Biden’s privacy interests as one factor justifying continued secrecy for the court files.

“The Court is attentive to the fact that the Government is investigating potential criminal activity relating to the transmission of personal information about a private citizen, who happens to be the daughter of President Biden,” Cave wrote. “Given the details about Ms. Biden’s personal information included in the Materials, ‘the privacy interests of innocent third parties’ — including the victim of the alleged criminal activity — is in important countervailing factor against granting public access.”

Another Judicial Watch Victory: Delaware Supreme Court Demands Answers on Biden’s Hidden Senate Documents – 1850 Boxes of Records!

By Cristina Laila
Published December 8, 2021 at 6:22pm
JudicialWatch_Social_PressRelease-Delaware_1200x627_v1.1-768x401-1.jpg

Graphic credit: Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch this week announced that the Delaware Supreme Court ruled the University of Delaware must provide more answers on Joe Biden’s hidden Senate documents.

The University of Delaware refuses to release Biden’s records and said that the papers will not be released until two years after Biden retires.

“The collection of former Vice President Biden’s senatorial papers is still being processed, with many items yet to be cataloged,” an email from a school spokeswoman said. “The entire collection will remain closed to the public until two years after Mr. Biden retires from public life.”

Judicial Watch and the Daily Caller News Foundation initially filed a FOIA lawsuit in 2020 for all of Biden’s senate records – 1,850 boxes of records.

The Delaware Supreme Court this week reversed the Delaware Superior Court and demanded the University of Delaware provide more answers on the document secrecy.

Biden doesn’t want his senate records unsealed because there would be evidence of a sexual assault complaint filed by Tara Reade in 1993.

Reade has repeatedly called on Biden to release the records from his 36 years as a senator, which are currently inaccessible to the public and are kept at the University of Delaware.

Joe Biden also spoke to Vladimir Putin while he was serving as a senator – what did then-Senator Joe Biden discuss with Putin?

Judicial Watch reported:
Judicial Watch announced that the Delaware Supreme Court ruled yesterday that the University of Delaware must provide more information justifying its decision to keep secret its deal to house and restrict access to the U.S. Senate records of President Joe Biden. The Delaware Supreme Court reversed the Delaware Superior Court and found that the University of Delaware had not carried its burden justifying its refusal to produce records. The case returns to the Delaware Superior Court for further proceedings.

In yesterday’s opinion, Delaware Supreme Court ruled that the state’s open records law requires the University must provide additional information, under oath, to justify its refusal to produce records about its dealings with Biden:

Unless it is clear on the face of the request that the demanded records are not subject to FOIA, satisfaction of Section 10005(c)’s burden of proof requires a statement made under oath. Such a reading of the statutory text is also supported by the statute’s purpose. FOIA safeguards a democratic society by ensuring the meetings and records of governmental entities are available to the public….

Therefore, if a public body is to deny citizens an opportunity to “observe the performance of public officials and to monitor the decisions that are made by such officials,” the public body must satisfy its burden of proof under FOIA in a manner that tracks the seriousness of the statute’s purpose and policy. Statements made under oath, such as through a sworn affidavit, accomplish that goal; they bear earmarks of reliability and instill a measure of seriousness in the affiant by subjecting the affiant to the risk of penalty of perjury.

Regarding the reversal of the Superior Court’s decision, the opinion instructs:

Because the University’s factual assertions to the Deputy Attorney General and the Superior Court were not made under oath and do not describe the efforts taken to identify responsive documents, they are not sufficient to meet FOIA’s burden of proof. On remand, the Superior Court shall determine whether the University has satisfied its burden of proof based on competent evidence in accordance with this ruling. The Superior Court is granted leave to accept additional evidence or submissions as it deems necessary and appropriate.
“This Delaware Supreme Court decision is a remarkable pushback on the University of Delaware’s secret deal with Joe Biden to hide his Senate records,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “In the meantime, why won’t President Biden simply release his Senate records? What is he trying to hide?”

“There’s 1800 boxes of records,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a video update.

“Where’s the media on this?”

Biden’s Praetorian Guard? The Ashley Biden Investigation Raises New Questions Over the Use of the FBI

Below is my column in The Hill on the continued FBI investigation into the loss of Ashley Biden’s diary. The use of the FBI in the case raises, again, the question of whether federal officials are being used to address a family scandal.

Here is the column:

With smash and grabs raging across the country, prosecutors have struggled to assure the public that they are cracking down on the crime wave and using every possible means to deter the organized thefts. One group notably missing in this effort has been the federal prosecutors.

While Attorney General Merrick Garland was criticized for launching a federal task force on threats against school boards (based on a handful of local cases), he has been largely silent on any federal effort to deal with this actual crime wave. That is despite the fact that these attacks are organized on social media and experts think it’s likely the stolen items are being sold on the internet. That is all interstate conduct and would allow for federal enforcement.

There is, however, one allegedly stolen item that did bring a full-scale FBI investigation: the missing diary of Ashley Biden, daughter of President Joe Biden.

The question is why tens of thousands of dollars of purses stolen in cities like Chicago are treated as purely local matters while a single missing diary in Florida is a matter of an ongoing federal effort.

The Justice Department could use laws like the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) Act. Indeed, federal RICO charges have been brought in prior such cases. RICO was created after local prosecutors failed to combat organized crime and the federal government stepped in with new tools to combat mob organizations. I have long preferred that crimes like these smash and grabs to be handled locally. The federalization of crime removes the primary responsibility and accountability of local leaders for crime. That is why I opposed the use of federal charges to combat rioting in cities like Portland.

I am more concerned that for over a year, the FBI has been conducting raids, issuing subpoenas, and questioning witnesses across the country — not in response to smash-and-grabs proliferating around the country, but for one woman’s missing diary. The investigation led to a rare raid on the home of a publisher, seizure of computers and cellphones, and the targeting of conservative figures. According to the New York Times, the investigation is looking into “whether there was a criminal conspiracy among a handful of individuals to steal and publish the diary.”

If that is true, the most obvious federal crime would be a provision like Section 2314 of the National Stolen Property Act, which criminalizes the transportation of illegally obtained goods valued at $5,000 or more across borders in interstate or foreign commerce by persons knowing the goods to be stolen, converted, or taken by fraud. Even assuming that the diary is worth $5000 or more, why would the federal government create a team and take these extraordinary actions rather than rely on local authorities to investigate such a crime?

The controversy over Ashley Biden‘s diary began during her father’s campaign for the presidency in 2020. Like her brother Hunter, Ashley has struggled with addiction and was living in a two-bedroom house in Delray Beach, Fla., with a friend. According to the New York Times, she decided to go to Philadelphia but to leave some belongings in two bags in the Delray house. The owner later allowed a friend named Aimee Harris and her two children to move in. The Times strongly suggests that Ms. Harris searched the possessions, noting that she was hard up for money and was also a Trump supporter. The Times then simply says “exactly what happened next remains the subject of the federal investigation.”

The Times details Trump supporters who may have been involved in the diary later being sold to Project Veritas, a conservative organization often criticized for ambush journalism. Project Veritas and its founder, James O’Keefe, maintained that they were given the diary by a “tipster” but decided not to use it. Indeed, the group later turned over the material to law enforcement.

As noted by the New York Times, court records show that on Oct. 12, 2020, O’Keefe told Project Veritas staff that said they would not publish a story about the diary. He explained that, while they had “no doubt the document is real,” he was concerned that publishing the diary would be seen “as a cheap shot.”

Project Veritas continued to try to get President Biden to answer questions based on the diary. The Times quotes Project Veritas’s lawyer as stating “Should we not hear from you by Tuesday, October 20, 2020, we will have no choice but to act unilaterally and reserve the right to disclose that you refused our offer to provide answers to the questions raised by your daughter.”

That notably does not threaten the publication of the diary but rather the publication of the refusal to respond to the controversy. This is not just another Section 2314 case. Publications like the New York Times regularly run material unlawfully removed by whistleblowers or sources. Indeed, in 2019, a federal court dismissed a case against the Trump campaign over the use of material from hacked emails. In an 81-page opinion, U.S. District Judge John Koeltl noted “even if the documents had been provided directly to the Campaign [and] the Campaign defendants … they could have published the documents themselves without liability because they did not participate in the theft and the documents are of public concern.”

The concern is whether the FBI is acting on a justified federal crime or acting like a type of Praetorian Guard for the First Family.

This is not a new concern with the Bidens. Federal officers were also used when Hunter Biden’s gun was thrown into a trash bin in Wilmington by Hallie Biden, widow of Hunter’s deceased brother and who was then in a relationship with Hunter. Secret service agents reportedly appeared in the case and asked for the paperwork for the gun from the store where it was purchased. It is still not clear why.

In the end, the removal of the diary was a rotten act of someone with pecuniary or political motives, or both. However, that does not address the equally important questions of the use of the FBI or the need for a federal investigation.

It’s cast into high relief as news outlets around the country run stories on how to avoid buying property stolen in smash and grabs.

As some call for a federal response to the smash-and-grab crime wave, the feds may want to respond as well to questions about its unrelenting focus on who grabbed Ashley Biden’s diary.

Politico Playbook exclusively reported Wednesday that publishing giant HarperCollins is preparing to release the next investigative bombshell book by six-time New York Times bestselling author Peter Schweizer titled Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win.

Red-Handed remains under a strict embargo until its January 25 release date.

The book’s cover, which Politico obtained a copy of, features photos of President Joe Biden and Chinese Communist Party Leader Xi Jinping, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), former House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), LeBron James, Elon Musk, Henry Kissinger, and Bill Gates. According to Politico, Red-Handed will “expose bad actors on both ends of the political spectrum and their willingness to do China’s bidding.”

Given the bestselling author’s investigative track record, the book’s subjects may have cause for concern. Peter Schweizer’s Clinton Cash sparked an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation. His last two books, Profiles in Corruption and Secret Empires, each hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and exposed how Hunter Biden and Joe Biden flew aboard Air Force Two in 2013 to China before Hunter’s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China just 10 days after the trip.

Schweizer, who is the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and a senior contributor to Breitbart News, also authored Throw Them All Out, which, according to left-leaning Slate, was “the book that started the STOCK Act stampede.” The bipartisan STOCK Act (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge) banned insider trading by members of Congress and was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. The legislation received overwhelming support from both parties. One of the main figures featured in Schweizer’s Throw Them All Out, then-chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL), announced he would not seek reelection after the book’s reporting.

CBS’s 60 Minutes did an investigative report on Schweizer’s revelations that won them the Joan Shorenstein Barone Award for excellence in Washington-based journalism.

According to Amazon, Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win numbers 352 pages in length.

Hunter Biden's ex-wife Kathleen Buhle will release a memoir in the run-up to the midterm elections about the breakdown of their 24-year marriage, his drug addiction and his affair with Beau's wife that could unearth more embarrassing details about the first family.

People magazine reported Wednesday that Buhle has written a book that will hit bookshelves in June entitled, If We Break: A Memoir of Marriage, Addiction and Healing.

The book will discuss the 'heavy toll' drug addiction takes on relationships, as Hunter Biden, fueled by a coke and alcohol habit, spent the couple's money on drugs, alcohol, strippers and prostitutes, and engaged in an affair with his dead brother Beau's wife Hallie.

Buhle accused Hunter of having an affair, being 'emotionally abusive' and using Viagra after she discovered his relationship with his brother's widow, emails obtained by DailyMail.com have shown.

She tried for years to try help him beat his addiction to crack cocaine and booze, before he found out that he was having a relationship with his sister-in-law Hallie.

'When my marriage ended, I felt like I'd lost my sense of who I was,' Buhle told People. 'Anyone who has seen addiction ruin a relationship, or been through infidelity and divorce, can tell you how devastating it feels.'

Through those 'crushing experiences,' she continued, 'I needed to find a way to stand on my own.'

'Writing this book has been incredibly healing for me,' Buhle told the magazine. 'And my hope is it will be meaningful to those who have been through addiction or divorce, and especially to women who have felt their entire identity was tied to their spouse.'

'In the end, divorce allowed me to find my strength,' she added.

The book, Buhle's publisher told People, 'tells her own story from her working class roots on the South Side of Chicago to losing her maiden name and a part of herself in becoming Kathleen Biden, to finding a renewed sense of identity, purpose, and joy after the devastating collapse of her marriage.'

Buhle and Biden finalized their divorce by April 2017.

However, six weeks prior, The New York Post reported that Hunter Biden had an ongoing affair with Hallie - with now President Joe Biden only finding out about it when the newspaper's gossip column, Page Six, reached out for comment.

Kathleen Buhle emailed Hunter Biden in July 2016 after reportedly discovering romantic texts between her husband and Hallie - the widow of Hunter's brother Beau. 'I'm leaving you because you are having an affair and you have been emotionally abusive,' she wrote
Hunter Biden later said in an interview with The New Yorker that he begged his father to send out a statement giving his blessing.

'I said, "Dad, if people find out, but they think you're not approving of this, it makes it seem wrong. The kids have to know, Dad, that there's nothing wrong with this, and the one person who can tell them that is you,' Hunter Biden said.

For Buhle, however, the affair was the last straw.

'I'm leaving you because you are having an affair and you have been emotionally abusive,' Buhle wrote in an email obtained by DailyMail.com to Hunter Biden in July 2016. 'I forgave you for cheating before, I tried to help you get sober and you made it clear, throughout the past year, that you didn't want to be with me. You didn't want my forgiveness and you didn't want my help with your recovery.'

Buhle called Biden 'cruel' for trying to say it was her fault.

'You say you were surprised by my asking for a separation and needed time to process it. I was surprised when I found your bottles of Viagra and Cialis. I was surprised when I found airline purchases and jewelry purchases,' the email continued.

In Hunter Biden's own memoir, Beautiful Things, he said Buhle learned of the affair when she discovered texts between the two lovers.

A source who talked to The Sun about Hunter Biden's book said Buhle 'tried for years to help him beat his addiction to crack cocaine and booze. But then she found out he was sleeping with his brother's wife. She said he was a sicko.'

The couple have three daughters together, Naomi, Finnegan and Maisy.

Hunter Biden also has an out-of-wedlock child with ex-stripper Lunden Roberts.

After just briefly dating, Hunter Biden married Melissa Cohen in 2019.

The couple had baby Beau Biden in the spring of 2020.

By spring 2019, Buhle was dating again, and leaning heavily on her friend, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Page Six reported.

In a March 2019 text message, Hunter Biden wrote to his father that 'you guys are unreasonably scared of Kathleen.'

'She's done the worst she can do with no push back,' he added in text messages from his abandoned laptop verified by DailyMail.com.

THIS is the "tell." Michelle hired "authorized autobiographers" pen the tome - and it will be put out there as the "Its hard to be the son/daughter in law of a connected pol" book.

And the Liberal lame-stream will "lap it up."

A "tell all" book that tells NOTHING.

Oprah (another Michelle friend) will have it out there on her 'list' for MONTHS.

‘Red-Handed’ Contains 1,093 Endnotes, No Unnamed Sources

REBECCA MANSOUR16 Jan 2022615

The soon-to-be-released bombshell book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win by nonpartisan investigative bestselling author Peter Schweizer contains 1,093 endnotes totaling 81 pages of source material, Breitbart News has learned.

Furthermore, the highly anticipated book relies on zero unnamed sources, making its findings—which Sean Hannity said are “going to be massive”—easier for federal law enforcement and U.S. intelligence services to track down. Indeed, Schweizer’s bestselling book Clinton Cash sparked an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

Schweizer, who is the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and a Breitbart News senior contributor, spent over a year conducting the research for Red-Handed with his team of forensic investigators, according to publishing giant HarperCollins.
Although the book remains under a strict embargo, the publisher states that the six-time New York Times bestselling author and his team scoured “a massive trove of global corporate records and legal filings to uncover the hidden transactions China’s enablers hoped would never see the light of day.”

Last week, Schweizer, who is also the host of the DrillDown podcast, stated that the revelations in Red-Handed are the “scariest” of his quarter-century career as an investigative journalist.

Former congressman Jason Chaffetz, a distinguished GAI fellow, tweeted: “Exposed. @peterschweizer does the best research. There are going to be some people who won’t want this published.”

Schweizer’s track record investigating both Republicans and Democrats is well-established, winning him a unique mix of bipartisan praise for his investigative work from both the left and the right. After the release of Clinton Cash, liberal columnist Eleanor Clift called Schweizer “an equal-opportunity investigator, snaring Republicans as well as Democrats.” Clift added: “It’s a mistake for the Clinton campaign to write off conservative author Peter Schweizer as a right-wing hack. It won’t work, and it’s not true.” Similarly, Harvard Law School Professor Lawrence Lessing wrote that “on any fair reading, the pattern of behavior that Schweizer has charged is corruption.”

On the right, Schweizer has also won praise, including from conservative radio and TV host Mark Levin who said Schweizer should receive the Medal of Freedom for his excellence in journalism. In January of 2021, Rush Limbaugh called Schweizer “a renowned investigator” who “has not been wrong on any of his years and years of reporting on the Bidens.”

GOP Senators Grassley, Johnson: Secret Service “Hid” Names and Information on Hunter Biden’s Overseas Travel

By Cristina Laila
Published January 20, 2022 at 6:46pm

GOP Senators Chuck Grassley (IA) and Ron Johnson (WI) claimed the Secret Service “hid” information related to Hunter Biden’s overseas travel.

The GOP Senators on Tuesday sent a letter to Secret Service Director James Murray claiming his agency “hid names and other information contained in email conversations regarding Hunter Biden without any proper legal justification.”

“The USSS’s production contains extensive Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) redactions, which do not apply to Congress and should not be applied to this production. These inappropriate redactions impede our offices’ ability to understand the full scope of the interactions between Hunter Biden, his associates, and the USSS,” they wrote.

The Washington Examiner reported Hunter Biden ditched his Secret Service detail during a 2014 trip to Paris to meet with Kazakhstani businessmen to pursue an energy deal with fellow Burisma board member Devon Archer.

Hunter Biden had plans to meet with then-Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov, who was recently arrested on treason charges – and the Secret Service is withholding information about this trip.

“Vadim — I’ve chosen to carry on from Paris without the Secret Service,” Hunter wrote in a message dated May 26, 2014. “They are not happy about it, but it seemed far too complicated and unnecessary. Best, Hunter.”

Hunter Biden received a $1.5 billion loan from the Bank of China after traveling on Air Force Two with daddy VP Joe Biden back in 2013 and the Secret Service has redacted documents related to that trip.

“We determined that even though Hunter Biden was a USSS protectee from January 2009 through July 2014, the USSS did not produce any communications regarding Hunter Biden’s travel for the years 2010, 2011, and 2013. The USSS’s lack of communications during these years raises questions given that USSS travel records show that Hunter Biden made trips to China and other destinations around the world, including, Russia, Italy, Spain and Mexico,” the Senators wrote.

According to Secret Service travel records obtained by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch last year, Hunter Biden took 411 trips across 29 countries between 2009 and 2014 while his father was US Vice President.

Joe Biden used his crack-addicted son Hunter as a bagman.

Hunter Biden visited China 5 times and received Secret Service detail.

At the time Secret Service did not indicate whether Hunter Biden was indeed traveling on Air Force One, Air Force Two or other government air craft.

However, it is now known that Hunter Biden took at least 23 flights through an American military base that is home to Air Force One and Air Force Two.

Why??

Grassley and Johnson gave the Secret Service until January 26 to produce the unredacted documents and to explain why they withheld records for the years 2010, 2011 and 2013.

Do the Bidens still have financial interests tied to natural gas in Ukraine?
by JD Washington
January 20, 2022

Ukraine, Russia, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, natural gas, invasion, Europe,
A natural gas pump station in Ukraine.

Kyiv, Ukraine — It seems that Europe and the US are ready to allow Vladimir Putin and Russia to invade and do as they wish with Ukraine. That was the message on Wednesday as President Joe Biden made the decision to green-light Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in a speech at the White House.

Biden’s comments were after reports began to surface that Russia was already moving warships out of the Baltic Sea and was sailing past Britain. The warships were capable of carrying armored personnel carriers and multiple missiles and defense weaponry.

Joe Biden said that Vladimir Putin was just simply trying to find his place between Europe and China, but the evidence tells a different story. It tells a story of how Putin is continuing his attempts to rebuild the USSR and to establish some form of economic control over Europe.

Russia has an alliance with China already and establishing a form of economic control over Europe would solidify Putin’s ability to control a majority of the natural gas and oil in the region.

Except no one sees the move for what it is. They simply see this as a means for Putin to “find his place” amid empty threats from world leaders.

Kyiv is begging for help. They told the world they could not fend off a Russian invasion. They begged for help from NATO, which has been denied. They just made a request from Germany for warships to help deter Russia, but it appears that help coming is unlikely.

At a news conference Thursday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, “If any Russian military forces move across the Ukrainian border and commit new acts of aggression against Ukraine, that will be met with a swift, severe, united response from the United States and our allies and partners.” What response is that though?

Is that simply going to be another slap on the wrist like Biden’s former boss Obama placed on Russia? What is Biden going to do when Putin invades Ukraine? Because it is going to happen.
The real situation goes back further than just the current situation. It goes back to the point that Biden allowed the gas pipeline that Trump had blocked to continue. Amid all the arguments that Donald Trump was colluding with the Russians, Biden has mirrored the same soft stance towards Russia of Barack Obama.

Once Biden gave in, it set in motion a chain of events that have allowed Russia to step out without fear. We could all see the writing on the wall. No one dared make a move when Trump was in office, they knew he meant business. Now, we have the weak leaders back in office and they will be all talk.

Even if Biden were serious, why is he so willing to get back into a war? Could it be his countless failures at home? Is this just another situation where a President wants to start a war so he can try to help his party’s reelection chances once again?

Or perhaps Biden is willing to let this happen so there is no evidence of his quid pro quo actions and his family’s profits in Ukraine once it’s over. After all, they seem to make millions in backroom deals that profit from Biden’s political office and hide them.

The US really has no major interest in Ukraine, so it should not be our war to fight. We do, however, have a significant interest in the fact that Russia is continuing to grow its power and authority in the region.

Having Russia as a dominant source of gas and oil for Europe will create unstable economic conditions across Europe. That would no doubt please Biden as he and the Democrats seem to hate a booming economy. They continue to look for every measure to make lives miserable here in the US and that would increase all global resource prices.

Rather than being a voice of reason with our European allies, we are again taking the back seat in leadership. We do not have to send our military to take care of the issue. We can encourage Europe to handle it.

The problem is, no one in the White House is smart enough to see what is happening. US mainstream media refuses to cover what is happening, choosing instead to continue pandering Biden’s COVID propaganda. Americans need to hear the facts and see what their President is doing on the world stage.

Rather than lead from a position of how great freedom is, Biden is choosing to bow to Russia and China just as we all knew he would. He claimed he would be tough on them, but instead he is giving them anything and everything they want. That includes invading a sovereign nation to establish control over natural resources vital to Europe.

That raises a lot of questions regarding Hunter Biden and Joe Biden in relation to Burisma. Do the Biden’s still have an interest in natural gas in Ukraine? They have already made millions from it and who knows where their Burisma friends are now in the situation.

We know that Europe needs natural gas and Russia is the largest supplier. Ukraine controls one of the largest pipelines into Europe for natural resources. Perhaps we need to take a closer look at Hunter’s laptop to find out more about what is going on.

(Background on Biden connection with Ukraine can be found in this thread in ALT: https://www.timebomb2000.com/xf/ind...-hydra-inc-posts-on-soros-involvement.563746/ )

Hunter Biden, former Biden aide invested in Chinese company tied to Communist Party, NBA China

Former top Biden aide told Hunter that Chinese executive was 'being groomed to take over his family's dynasty'

By Cameron Cawthorne FOXBusiness

EXCLUSIVE: As recently as March 2017, Hunter Biden's private equity firm held a stake in a company run by a Chinese executive with ties to officials at some of the highest levels of the Communist Party of China, according to emails reviewed by FOX Business.

Hunter Biden’s longtime business partner, Eric Schwerin, sent him an email in March 2017 breaking down the ownership interests of Rosemont Seneca Advisors, which included a 5% stake in Harves Amusement Parks and ownership in Harves Sports and Entertainment.

Hunter-emails-3.jpg

Biden's introduction to the Harves Group came about two years earlier, when Francis Person, who served as an adviser to then-Vice President Biden from 2009 to 2014 and was a "special assistant" to Biden in the Senate, sent an email to Hunter Biden in July 2015 inviting him to China the following month to meet his business partner, Bo Zhang, and his family.

"Bo Zhang and his family would host us. They are a great family with great respect and relationships in China. Bo graduated from American Univ and is in his late 20’s, and his parents own Harves Century Group of Shenyang - which is a top tier private chinese real estate development firm," Person wrote. "His mom is actually the Chairman of the company, which is unique in China. They are very private, and wouldn’t tell anyone about you coming. Bo's father-in-law is actually the Governor of Hainan (Chinese Hawaii), which he doesn’t advertise at all."

Harves Century Group, which has backing from the state-owned China Development Bank, is headquartered in Shenyang, China, and is the parent company of multiple U.S.-based Harves affiliates, including Harves Investment Group (HIG), Harves Global Entertainment, and Harves Sports. Harves Century's website says the chairwoman is Jenglan Shao, which is revealed to be Zhang's mother according to Person's 2015 email to Hunter Biden. It is unclear what her background is or whether she is an American citizen, but her name comes up on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) website as a maxed-out donor to Person's failed 2016 campaign against then-Rep. Mick Mulvaney, R-S.C. Zhang also was a maxed-out donor to Person’s campaign. Schwerin and Hunter Biden both donated $2,700.

PSAKI WON'T SAY WHETHER HUNTER BIDEN HAS DIVESTED FROM CHINESE PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM

Hunter-emails-1.jpg

Person's email went on to say that Zhang is "being groomed to take over his family’s dynasty" and that the trip wasn’t about selling Biden on anything, but more about "grow[ing] that relationship," adding that "there will be plenty of big things that come down the road that we can work on." Person added that Harves was partnering with NBA stars Magic Johnson and LeBron James in 2016 to "host an NBA Global Game in China."

The longtime Biden aide, who traveled with Vice President Biden to 49 of the 50 countries he visited through mid-2014, including China, and was described by then-second lady Jill Biden as "like a son to Joe and me" and someone who "will always be a part of our family," was tapped to be the president of Harves in January 2015, less than six months after he left the White House. According to Linkedin, Person "[h]elped guide the formation of the Harves Group headquartered in Washington DC, serving as the U.S. affiliate of Harves [Century Group]."

It does not appear that Biden was able to make the China trip during the specific week that Person pitched in the email, but multiple emails reviewed by FOX Business show that Person and Zhang met with Biden and Schwerin in Washington on multiple occasions and emailed back-and-forth coordinating potential Harves-related business deals. In one 2016 email, Biden calls Zhang his "good friend and business colleague." One of the names cc'd on the email was James Bulger, who appeared to help Biden get a Chinese business license for his uncle's telemedicine company a couple of years earlier.

Hunter-emails-4.jpg

One of the emails was from Schwerin to Zhang, Biden, Person, an assistant, and Tara Greco, a former director of communications for the union that represents NBA players. The April 2016 email, which was directed at Zhang, said Greco had learned that the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) had a deal with the NBA to "build NBA branded stadiums around China," but said it appeared the project was "stalled" after only two stadiums were built, prompting Schwerin to say, "If Liaoning can get one of these stadiums that would be a big help in your efforts to get more NBA related content in Liaoning." After listing off several questions he had for Zhang, Schwerin concluded the email by saying they could discuss when they met the following week.

HUNTER BIDEN'S ART DEALER SAID HE WANTED TO BE THE 'LEAD GUY IN CHINA' IN 2015

In November 2020, a joint press release announced that Harves was partnering with NBA China, a company that was formed in 2008 to conduct the NBA’s business throughout China and develop NBA-themed entertainment centers. Zhang was quoted in the press release as saying, the centers "furthers our mission to provide best-in-class global entertainment experiences to local populations." In May of this year, the eastern city of Suzhou is expected to open its first experience center. Zhang said, "We hope to grow it into a landmark project in the sports industry."

"As part of the partnership, Harves, plans to open six NBA-themed entertainment centers across China, with the first opening by 2022," the press release said. "These entertainment centers will bring together fans and families to experience the excitement of the NBA through a variety of new activities and offerings, including cutting-edge, interactive digital games, NBA-themed dining and more."

In addition to being the co-founder and CEO of Harves Global Entertainment, Person is the co-founder and CEO of DreamCube Innovations, a company that Fast Company described as an "enticing new technology and brand that’s already signed deals with the NBA as well as with the Manchester United soccer club" that is set up "across China."

"It’s humbling to work with incredibly creative, talented, and passionate people to push technology and immersive experiences to another level," Person wrote on his Facebook, sharing the Fast Company article. "We’re living through tough times, but our future is lined with infinite possibilities."

FOX Business reached out to Person and Zhang to inquire about the relationship between Harves and the Chinese government and whether they have played a role in approving any of their business contracts along with a series of other questions, but neither of them responded.

In Person's 2015 email to Hunter Biden, he revealed that Zhang’s father-in-law was the governor of Hainan at the time. A timeline shows that Liu Cigui was the governor in 2015 and according to The Diplomat, Cigui was considered to be a "Xi loyalist."

Cigui went straight to public service at the age of 20 going "through various levels of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organs in Fujian, first via the Communist Youth League and then as spatial party secretaries, eventually of prefecture-level Putian, a coastal city of 2 million along the Xiamen-Quanzhou-Putian-Fuzhou coastal axis," The Diplomat reported. According to China Vitae, Cigui has been a member of the CCP Central Committee, which is the party’s "highest organ of authority," since 2012. Additionally, Liu was a member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection from 2012 to 2017, which, according to The Washington Post, is "a secretive, powerful agency in charge of investigating the Communist Party’s own members for corruption," was "the main weapon in Xi Jinping’s rapid consolidation of power as China’s new leader."

Another tie that Zhang has to the CCP was revealed in a December 2013 Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filing with the Justice Department, listing Zhang as the "Foreign Principal."

"Although the Foreign Principal is a private individual, because of his relationship with a Chinese Government Official, Liu Guoqiang, a Vice Chairman Liaoning Committee of the Chinese People's Political Conservative [sic] Conference (CPPCC) People's Republic of China, the foreign principal proposes to seek assistance from the Registrant [Patton Boggs LLP] to provide Congressional outreach on behalf of the Vice Chairman in relation to setting up meetings with Congressional officials, when the Vice Chairman and his delegation visit the United States which is expected to occur in 2014," the filing reads.

According to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, the CPPCC is a "critical coordinating body that brings together representatives of China’s other interest groups and is led by a member of China’s highest-level decision-making authority, the CCP’s Politburo Standing Committee." The Diplomat reports that the CPPCC is a "key part" of China’s "United Front" work and that it is "designed to liaise with non-Communist Party members – and ultimately see them work with the CCP to advance its interests" and target prominent figures like athletes, businesspeople, and politicians.

Hunter Biden's attorney and Schwerin did not respond to a series of questions or say whether Hunter still had a stake in Harves.

Here’s The Proof Hunter Biden Didn’t Bring Secret Service To Kazakhstan As He Cut Corrupt Deals, Confirming Senator Grassley’s Suspicions

Here's The Proof Hunter Biden Didn't Bring Secret Service To Kazakhstan As He Cut Corrupt Deals

The New York Post and other outlets are reporting Senator Grassley has accused the Secret Service of withholding information from Congress on trips Hunter Biden took to Kazakhstan, Russia and China.

The Secret Service improperly redacted hundreds of pages of records related to Hunter Biden’s overseas travel — and apparently withheld information about trips to China, Russia and other countries, two leading Republican senators claim, reported the New York Post.

In a Tuesday letter to Secret Service Director James Murray, Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) alleged the agency “hid names and other information contained in email conversations regarding Hunter Biden without any proper legal justification.”

The senators specifically noted that documents turned over at their request “do not show whether [Secret Service] personnel or Hunter Biden traveled to Kazakhstan in May or June 2014” during a trip to Paris.

CDMedia has obtained emails from the Hunter Biden ‘laptop from Hell’ which confirms Senator Grassley’s suspicions. You can read the email below

Peter Schweizer: No Question China Invested Financially In Biden Family Knowing His Influence

Peter Schweizer on Life, Liberty and Levin: "the Biden family, while he was vice president and continuing when he became president, received some $31 million from Chinese individuals who we're linked to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence"

Peter Schweizer with Mark Levin last night

“One of the most startling things we uncovered is the simple fact that the Biden family, while he was vice president of the United States and continuing when he became president, received some $31 million from Chinese individuals who are linked to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence.”

“And these deals, which we lay out in the book, were carried out by a couple of individuals. One is a guy named Che Feng. Hunter Biden, in the Hunter Biden emails, refers to him as the Super Chairman. That’s kind of his nickname for him, and he says in one email, ‘I don’t believe in the lottery anymore, but I believe in the Super Chairman.’”

“His business partner was the vice minister at the ministry for state security. He was in charge of, among other things, recruiting foreign nationals to spy for China. He was the head of something called the Number Eight Bureau. It doesn’t get any higher than that. These are the sorts of individuals that were striking deals with Hunter Biden. In this particular case, Che Feng happened to help a $20 million deal be secured. Another individual that helped arrange that deal is a guy named Mr. Zhao. Mr. Zhao helped with that $20 million deal. He also sent $5 million to Hunter Biden, and he sent that money from a very interesting business called Harvest Global.”

“Jiao’s business partner is the daughter of the former head of the ministry of state security. This is the guy who runs the entire spy apparatus for China. Again, it does not get any higher than that.”

“And for the life of me, Mark, this is unprecedented. I don’t know of a time in American history where the American first family has had this kind of a financial bond with a foreign intelligence service, particularly a foreign intelligence service that wants to defeat the United States in global competition.”

Biden Family Made $31 Million From Individuals With 'Direct Ties To Chinese Spy Apparatus': Schweizer

MONDAY, JAN 24, 2022 - 05:35 PM

The Biden family bagged $31 million from just five deals in China - all inked with individuals who have direct ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence, claims author Perter Schweizer in his new book, Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win.

As Breitbart News reports, "Multiple financiers with direct ties to Chinese intelligence partnered with Hunter Biden during and after his father’s time as Vice President — including the former head of the Ministry of State Security and the head of foreign intelligence recruitment — and some of those relationships remain intact," according to Schweizer.

The book outlines how Beijing sought a financial relationship with the Bidens as a method of "elite capture," which led to meetings between Hunter Biden and high-level Chinese financiers, as well as the CCP, in order to exert leverage over the powerful family.
One of the central early players in the Bidens’ Chinese deals is a tycoon by the name of Che Feng, or “The Super Chairman,” as Hunter and his partners referred to him.
Che, the son of a PLA soldier, has been described in Western media as “a shadowy and discreet investor,” whose father-in-law was the governor of the People’s Bank of China, and whose business partner was the Vice Minister of State Security, a man by the name of Ma Jian. Schweizer writes that Ma was reportedly the director of the ministry’s No. 8 Bureau, overseeing North American operations targeting foreigners with its counterintelligence apparatus. -Breitbart
"The hazard of a Chinese businessman with close ties to the top ranks of Beijing’s spy agency conducting financial transactions with the son of the U.S. vice president cannot be overstated. How this did not set off national security or ethics alarm bells in Washington is a wonder in itself," writes Schweizer, who added that the Super Chairman's role was to "fuse Chinese financial might to those with access to the highest levels of power in the Western world," which led to the foundation of Bohai Harvest Trust (BHR) - which was "funded by China’s biggest government-backed financial institutions" with the Bidens and their American partners.

The Super Chairman also introduced the Bidens to Zhao Xuejun (aka Henry Zhao), a former CCP general secretary at Harvest Fund Management. Zhao also owned "Harvest Global Investments," co-founded with the daughter-in-law of a member of the Politburo Standing Committee at the time, Jia Liqing. Her father, Jia Chunwang, is the former minister of state security, "in charge of secret service, espionage, and domestic and overseas intelligence work."

Harvest Global Investments wired $5 million to another Hunter Biden business called Burnham, according to the book.

"There is no one more powerful in the world of Chinese intelligence," Schweizer writes. "The seductive and lucrative deal that Hunter was now putting into place, creating BHR, involved two financiers with ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence, a billion-dollar private equity deal that we first exposed in Secret Empires. What we now know are the roles played by the spy-connected ‘Super Chairman’ and Zhao."

"According to Michael Lin, another Chinese partner, Hunter’s role in the venture was pretty straightforward: ‘Open as many doors as possible in the western world for this very famous Bohai professional team.’ There was also the expectation that Hunter and his partners would ‘join some of the meetings in HK and China they arrange’ when communicating with possible financial partners."

Book: Bidens Reaped $31M in Chinese Communist Business Dealings

A new book claims the Biden family earned $31 million from five deals involving people with direct ties to Chinese intelligence.

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, partnered with multiple financiers with direct ties to the Chinese spy network, according to Peter Schweizer’s "Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win," published by Harper-Collins and scheduled to be released Tuesday.

The dealings occurred during and after Joe Biden’s time as vice president, and included the former head of China's ministry of state security and the head of foreign intelligence recruitment.

The book says some of those relationships remain intact, Breitbart reported.
The Chinese communists saw a financial relationship with the Bidens as an opening for "elite capture." Hunter Biden got meetings and major deals with people in the highest levels of Chinese government and financial institutions, and in return the Chinese would leverage the Bidens’ power for their interests, the book says.

Hunter Biden's business dealings in China have been scrutinized after the New York Post in October 2020 revealed that a laptop left at a repair shop contained a trove of emails detailing controversial foreign business dealings.

On Friday, Rep. James Comer, the leading Republican on the House Oversight Committee, told Newsmax that it was important that the National Archives release any information about Hunter Biden's alleged involvement in the sale of an African cobalt mine to a Chinese company in 2016, as a matter of national security.

Fox Business obtained emails showing Hunter Biden and a former top Biden aide invested in a company with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Also, a Chinese mogul reportedly gave Hunter Biden an expensive gem and offered $30 million in a bid to seal a deal with a Chinese-government-linked energy consortium to expand its business around the world, according to New York Post columnist Miranda Devine’s book, "Laptop from Hell."

In his book, Schweizer says a tycoon named Che Feng, dubbed "the super chairman," is a central figure in Hunter Biden’s dealings.

Che has been described in Western media as "a shadowy and discreet investor," whose business partner was the vice minister of state security, Breitbart reported.
"The hazard of a Chinese businessman with close ties to the top ranks of Beijing's spy agency conducting financial transactions with the son of the U.S. vice president cannot be overstated," Schweizer writes in his book. "How this did not set off national security or ethics alarm bells in Washington is a wonder in itself."

Biden Family Planned to Share Office Space with Company Employing ‘F**king Spy Chief of China’

Hunter Biden planned to share his family’s office space in Washington, DC, with a Chinese intelligence-linked firm that employed a man Hunter described as “the f**king spy chief of China,” according to Peter Schweizer’s new bombshell book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win.

According to the book, Hunter Biden planned in 2017 to set up an office in Washington that would house his businesses, his father’s Biden Foundation, and a representative of a Chinese global energy company he had cultivated close ties to, CEFC China Energy.

Hunter Biden had developed a close working relationship with CEFC’s Chairman and majority owner Ye Jianming beginning at the end of 2015 after associates put them in touch. Ye had a number of ties to Chinese military intelligence and his company provided energy to China’s People’s Liberation Army.

Despite those alarming links, Hunter became Ye’s personal counsel in the U.S., essentially becoming a representative for “an intelligence- and military-linked Chinese company that was supporting voices calling for an aggressive military posture against the United States and its allies,” according to the book.

Hunter Biden and his family were also involved in CEFC’s plans to invest in U.S. infrastructure through two entities — Hudson West IV and SinoHawk. In fact, Biden made it clear to Tony Bobulinski, a financial planner he brought in to help with the infrastructure efforts, that his family was integral to the effort.

After Hunter was unhappy with the payment package he was going to receive from the venture — an $850,000 salary and 20 percent equity stake, as well as 10 percent of the equity for “the Big Guy [Joe Biden]” — he wrote to Bobulinski that Ye and his company are “both coming to be MY partner and to be partners with the Biden.”

Hunter would then seek to fuse his family and CEFC further with the shared office in Washington.

“In 2017, he made plans to house his businesses, the Biden Foundation, one of his father’s offices, and CEFC together in an office space in Washington,” Schweizer writes, adding:
In an email for signage, Hunter said he had “new office mates: Joe Biden Jill Biden Jim Biden Gongwen Dong (Chairman Ye CEFC emissary),” and that, “I would like the office sign to reflect the following The Biden Foundation Hudson West (CEFC U.S.) The lease will remain under my company’s name Rosemont Seneca.”
Gongwen Dong, like Ye, had “notable ties to those embedded in Chinese intelligence and foreign influence operations,” Schweizer writes.

In addition to being CEFC’s emissary, Dong was also the chief financial officer at the Beijing-based Radiance Property Holdings, a firm controlled and run by Lam Ting Keung, a businessman with deep connections to “united front” groups linked to Chinese intelligence.

United front groups often serve as covers for Chinese intelligence operations, Schweizer notes. According to a 2018 U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission report, China uses the groups work to “co-opt and neutralize source of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party.”

Despite these links, Hunter Biden and Dong on September 8, 2017, were able to apply for secure a line of credit and add James Biden and his wife, Sara Biden, as authorized users for the credit cards on the account. James and Sara Biden then spent $100,000 on luxury items.

In addition to Ye and Dong, CEFC had another Chinese intelligence-linked man in the Bidens’ orbit — Patrick Ho, who Hunter Biden called “the f**king spy chief of China” in a leaked phone call.

Ho was one of Ye’s “top lieutenants” and a senior executive with China Energy Fund Committee, CEFC’s nonprofit think tank. Ho had also once been the home affairs secretary in Hong Kong and was also a “tireless advocate” for Chinese Communist Party Chairman Xi Jinping’s “signature venture” at the United Nations.

Shortly after plans were in place to put Dong in a shared office space with the Biden family, Ho was arrested in New York City on bribery charges by the FBI in November 2017.

Ho had reportedly offered money to African officials as part of an operation involving channelling illicit payments to UN diplomats.

One of Ho’s first phone calls from jail was to James Biden, looking for Hunter Biden. CEFC then hired Hunter Biden to provide legal representation in the case, despite his lack of a background in criminal defense law. CEFC paid a $1 million retainer to Biden’s LLC, Owasco. Ho pleaded guilty and went to jail.

However, before Ho went to jail, Hunter Biden was provided a Chinese assistant named JiaQi Bao. Her master’s degree from China’s Tsinghua University was financed by the Chinese government, and she worked for the Chinese government’s National Development and reform Commission, which is responsible for the management of China’s economy.

According to Schweizer, Bao offered Hunter Biden advice on “everything from energy deals to his father’s presidential campaign.” She also handled a “monthly wire instruction” concerning the transfer of financial payments.

When Hudson West folded, she told Hunter, “Whatever money from Hudson West, please take them, take as much as possible or figure out a way to spend them for your own benefit … just take it and keep as much as possible.”

Marsha Blackburn on ‘Red-Handed’: ‘Communist China Loves Biden’

Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn (TN) slammed President Joe Biden, stating he is loved by “Communist China” in light of shocking revelations from Peter Schweizer’s new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win.

Blackburn linked to a Breitbart News report on the revelation in Schweizer’s book that donations from communist China to the University of Pennsylvania almost tripled after the university announced the launch of the Biden Center in February of 2017.

1643181801220.png

“In the three years before the announcement, the university received around $15 million. In the three years after, the total was close to $40 million. The latter number is $60 million from China if you include contracts,” Schweizer writes in Red-Handed.

Breitbart News’s John Hayward reports:
Some of those donors were anonymous, but declared donors included the state-owned China Merchants Bank, and a company called Cathay Fortune owned by “a secretive Chinese billionaire who appears to have strong links with the Communist Party” named Yu Yong.

Cathay Fortune is especially interesting because it has a controlling interest in China Molybdenum, a mineral producer with Chinese military contracts that teamed up with Hunter Biden’s investment fund to invest in an African copper mine.
Schweizer notes that Tony Blinken worked as the Penn Biden Center’s managing director for a period “before heading off to work on the presidential campaign in 2019.”

Now, Blinken is Biden’s secretary of state, “a role in which he was famously ambushed and curb-stomped by Chinese diplomats during his first bilateral conference with them in March,” Hayward points out.

The book also exposes how the Biden family received a whopping $31 million from five deals in China with businessmen tied closely to Chinese intelligence, Breitbart News reported.
1643182040522.png

Breitbart News Politics Editor Emma-Jo Morris writes:
Multiple financiers with direct ties to Chinese intelligence partnered with Hunter Biden during and after his father’s time as Vice President — including the former head of the Ministry of State Security and the head of foreign intelligence recruitment — and some of those relationships remain intact…

Schweizer explains that Beijing saw a financial relationship with the Bidens as an opening for “elite capture,” which allowed Hunter Biden to secure meetings and score major deals with people in the highest levels of Chinese financial institutions and the Chinese Communist Party — and in return they would be able to leverage the Bidens’ power for their interests.
In yet another revelation from Red-Handed, it is brought to that a “Chinese global energy company linked to a Chinese intelligence operation sent close to $6 million to Hunter Biden in 2017,” Breitbart News’s Kristina Wong reports.

1643182106413.png

Wong reports:
The firm, now-defunct, was led by Ye Jianming, a wealthy and connected Chinese businessman who was chairman and majority owner of the global energy company, CEFC China Energy.

Furthermore, by July 2017, CEFC began making interest-free, forgivable loans to the Biden family. CEFC executive Zhao Running wrote that $5 million was intended as money lent to the BD family,” not just Hunter Biden.

“This $5 million loan to the BD [Biden] family is interest free,” Zhao wrote.

Schweizer notes that “interest-free loans provide tremendous leverage because the lender can demand its money back if it is displeased by any action.”

In August 2017, CEFC Infrastructure Investment LLC sent Hunter Biden’s law firm, Owasco, $100.000. Four days later, the firm wired $5 million to another entity controlled by Ye, which then started sending regular payment to Owasco. Biden then transferred $1.4 million of that money to a firm called Lion Hall Group, which was controlled by his uncle James Biden and his wife, Sara Biden.

Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win was released Tuesday, January 25, and has already claimed “the #1 bestseller spot on both Barnes & Noble and Amazon across all book categories and genres,” Breitbart News reports. Schweizer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and a senior contributor to Breitbart News, is also the bestselling author of Throw Them All Out, Clinton Cash, and Secret Empires.

Are connections with CHINA funding Joe Biden’s lifestyle?

Jan 27, 2022

Glenn Beck

In his new book ‘Red-Handed,’ Peter Schweizer details how America’s most powerful elite — from tech CEOs to politicians in office — are selling out America for 1) personal profit and 2) an odd affection for China's dictatorial model. His book dives into the Biden family connections with China, which he details to Glenn in this clip. For example, Schweizer explains, Hunter Biden’s numerous connections with top-ranked Chinese officials have led to a huge sums of money that he then uses to help fund and support his father’s luxurious lifestyle. It’s massively illegal, so WHY is no one talking about this?!

Schweizer: ‘The Biden Family May Be Compromised’

Video 2:23 min

TRENT BAKER27 Jan 2022600

During a Wednesday interview on Newsmax TV’s “Spicer & Co.,” Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said that President Joe Biden and his family “may be compromised” as a result of their dealings with Chinese businessmen.

Schweizer, the author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, laid out how Biden and his son Hunter “received some $31 million from businessmen in China” who have “direct ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence.” He added that information “should be setting off sirens everywhere in Washington, D.C.”

“To me, it’s really the story in American politics today, and that’s the fact that the Biden family has received some $31 million from businessmen in China,” Schweizer advised. “Each and every one of those businessmen has direct ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence, meaning they’re business partners with the vice minister for State Security or they’re business partners with family members of the minister of State Security. It’s shocking to me that other media outlets mainstream media is not pursuing this story because it’s not a story of corruption anymore or cronyism — it’s of national security. And I think it raises questions — very serious questions — about the fact that the Biden family may be compromised.”

“Hunter Biden believes he’s won the lottery because of this guy’s deals, and this guy is neck-deep in the world of Chinese espionage and spying,” he added. “This should be setting off sirens everywhere in Washington, D.C.”

POSTED ON JANUARY 28, 2022 BY JOHN HINDERAKER IN BOOKS, CHINA, JOE BIDEN

IS JOE BIDEN IN THE POCKET OF THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY?

Peter Schweizer is an excellent researcher who has built a solid body of work that, among other things, exposes corruption in America’s political class. His most recent book, Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, is the most sensational yet. The New York Post has a long excerpt from Peter’s book relating to Joe Biden and his family (links omitted):
For those wondering why Joe Biden is soft on China, consider this never-before-reported revelation: The Biden family has done five deals in China totaling some $31 million arranged by individuals with direct ties to Chinese intelligence — some reaching the very top of China’s spy agency.
Indeed, every known deal that the Biden family enjoyed with Beijing was reached courtesy of individuals with spy ties. And Joe Biden personally benefited from his family’s foreign deals.

What are these deals? And who are the individuals who made them happen for the Bidens?

Here, then, are a few key facts about the Biden family’s $5 million-plus deals with individuals in bed with Chinese intelligence.
The $31 million is not the gross amount of the transactions, but rather the cut that went to the Bidens. I won’t try to summarize all of the information at the link, but this graphic is a start. Click to enlarge:

This shouldn’t come as a surprise. Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, along with emails from other sources that emerged soon thereafter, have amply documented Joe Biden’s China-related corruption.

What is shocking is not so much the facts surrounding our president’s corruption, but rather the fact that our corporate media have closed ranks to prevent voters from learning about it. One gets tired of the “If Joe Biden were a Republican…” mantra, but still: the point is indisputable. Imagine if what we now know about Joe Biden’s entanglement with the Chinese Communist Party had come out four years ago, not about Biden, but about Donald Trump. It would have been the greatest scandal of the age, and Trump likely would have been impeached.

But because our press is desperately trying to prop up the failing Joe Biden, many Americans, perhaps most, will never learn about his corrupt relationship with the Chinese Communists–even though our relationship with China, our primary geopolitical rival, is one of the most important issues facing our republic. Is Joe Biden corrupt? Absolutely. But is there an institution that is even more corrupt? Yes: the American press.

A criminal IRS investigation into Hunter Biden — President Biden’s son — appears to have convened a grand jury as far back as May 2019, a confidential subpoena served to JPMorgan Chase bank reveals. The subpoena also seeks bank records of James Biden, the president’s brother, which appears to be the first time another Biden family member has surfaced in connection with the investigation.

The document, obtained by Breitbart News, specifically demands information on related transactions between JPMorgan Chase Bank, which the document calls “correspondent bank,” and the Bank of China, which the document calls the “originating or beneficiary bank.”

The document appears to show that as President Biden was launching his campaign that spring, federal prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney’s office in Delaware had impaneled a grand jury and were demanding the production of bank records relating to Hunter and James Biden, as well as two of their business associates Devon Archer and Eric Schwerin.

While it has been reported that subpoenas were issued in a Hunter Biden criminal probe from federal investigators, the level of detail this document contains has never been reported.

The document, dated May 20, 2019, is a subpoena compelling JPMorgan Chase bank to appear in U.S. District Court in Delaware. “YOU ARE COMMANDED to appear in this United States district court at the time, date, and place to testify before the court’s grand jury,” the document — a subpoena to JPMorgan Chase Bank’s subpoena processing office based in Indianapolis — says. “When you arrive, you must remain at the court until a judge or a court officer allows you to leave.”

The document lists a courtroom in the J. Caleb Boggs Federal Building in Wilmington, Delaware, as the location that JPMorgan Chase Bank officials were compelled to appear and commands a response by June 25, 2019.

“You must also bring with you the following documents, electronically stored information, or objects” the document continues, then pointing to “Attachment A” which lists out exactly what the mega-bank needed to provide to the court.

“Attachment A” lists out the following instruction to the bank’s compliance officials: “PRODUCE THE FOLLOWING: All records, documents, and accounts pertaining to all financial/banking transactions with the following known name(s), and/or accounts. However, when conducting your search, please do not limit your scope to only the known account(s) listed below; unknown, associated, signatory, or closed accounts are also requested.”

The specific individuals named by the subpoena are Robert Hunter Biden, James Biden, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin.

Business names listed out by the subpoena are: Owasco, Skaneateles, RSP Holdings, RSP Investments, RSTP II Alpha, RSTP II Bravo, Seneca Global Advisors, Aqaba International, Rosemont Seneca, Burisma Holdings, Bohai Harvest RST Shanghai Equity, Robinson Walker, Hudson West, European Energy and Infras Group Limited, Bladen Enterprises Limited.

The document specifically states multiple times: “Do not disclose the existence of this subpoena to the individual or any third party.”

An accompanying letter David C. Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware, to JPMorgan Chase Bank officials specifies that federal law “makes it a federal crime for ‘an officer of a financial institution’ to notify either ‘directly or indirectly…. (A) a customer of that financial institution whose records are sought by a grand jury subpoena; or (B) any other person named in that subpoena about the existence or contents of that subpoena or information that has been furnished to the grand jury in response to that subpoena [.]’”

Hunter Biden revealed in a statement in December, 2020, just following the presidential election, that he was under federal investigation for possible tax fraud. At the time it was reported by Fox News and CNN that the investigation began in 2018 and was looking into whether Hunter and his business associates violated tax and money laundering laws. Reporting by CNN at the time said the probe was focused on Hunter’s engagements in China and other countries and transactions with “people who posed counterintelligence concerns.”

The probe had been put on hold as the presidential race ramped up, but had allegedly resumed after all ballots were cast.

Weiss paused the investigation, deciding not to seek search warrants or issue grand jury subpoenas, to not “alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election,” according to a report by Politico in July, 2021.

The federal investigation into Hunter’s “tax affairs” was reported by Fox News to have been moving forward in March, 2021, and that the U.S. Attorney’s office in Delaware had “not heard from the White House,” at the time.

Hunter Biden revealed in an interview with CBS in April, 2021, that his lawyers were not working on a plea deal in the case. “I am absolutely certain that what we’re doing is being completely cooperative with whoever is asking from any authority whatsoever,” he added at the time.

The document was obtained first by former White House official Garrett Ziegler, who is a former associate director in Peter Navarro’s Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy in the White House, serving from 2019-2021, who provided it to Breitbart News. Following his time at the White House, Ziegler established Marco Polo, a nonprofit research group “exposing corruption and blackmail,” and has been conducting a forensic review combined with extra independent investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop.

“This wide-ranging grand jury subpoena suggests that Joe’s son and brother received transfers from an account with the Bank of China. The question that remains is why Bill Barr directly intervened to ensure that the U.S. Attorney in Delaware’s investigation into Joe’s family was kept from the public for over 17 months until after the election, as previous reporting has confirmed. David Weiss and Bill Barr—or someone with a conscience inside the Justice Department—should answer that question for the American people,” Ziegler said in a statement to Breitbart News.

The aforementioned Politico story suggests Weiss took steps to keep his investigation from going public in 2019 because he did not want it coming out in the middle of an election, and a subsequent Wall Street Journal piece in December 2020 suggests that Barr did the same.

It is unclear if JPMorgan Chase Bank cooperated with this subpoena. It is worth noting that the bank’s outside counsel firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced it hired former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch shortly after receiving this subpoena. It is unclear if Lynch had any involvement on this specific matter, however, she has worked on similar matters involving JPMorgan Chase Bank compliance.

It is also unclear where this criminal investigation stands.

Schweizer: Biden Family Business Dealings with China a ‘National Security Issue’

PAM KEY30 Jan 2022186

Video on website 8:52 min

Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said Sunday on FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that President Joe Biden’s family members, who made business deals with China, have created a “national security issue.”

Bartiromo asked, “Peter, we are talking about the conflicts Joe Biden has with his family have with China. This is not just a legality question. This is an issue of national security. You have reported that the Biden family accepted $31 million. Do you believe this is treason given the fact that the CCP is an adversary of America?”

Schweizer, the author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, said, “Well, look, all I can say, Maria, is I’m old enough to remember the Cold War when we were combating the evil empire of the Soviet Union.”

He continued, “It’s unfathomable to me that we would have tolerated at that time an American first family or second family, the vice presidency, doing business deals with Russian businessmen who are business partners with the highest levels of the KGB. I don’t understand why it’s different for China.

China has the same goals as the Soviet Union. They want to supplant us. So, people, I think, in Washington have to get serious about this. This is not a partisan issue. It’s a national security issue.”

Hunter Biden and associates received 2019 subpoena over business deals in China

Hunter Biden and two business associates received a grand jury subpoena regarding their business dealings in China about 17 months before the 2020 presidential election, The Post has learned.

The order sent by the Department of Justice to JP Morgan Chase bank asked for the records of any international financial transactions for the past five years involving Hunter, his uncle James Biden and former business partners Devon Archer and Eric Schwerin, according to federal documents.

The anti-corruption nonprofit Marco Polo, founded by former Trump administration official Garrett Ziegler, obtained the filing, which targets the financial ties between the four men and the Bank of China.

The subpoena was issued by Delaware’s US Attorney David Weiss on May 15, 2019. At the time, Hunter’s father, Joe Biden, was a presidential candidate.

The subpoena was issued just five weeks after Hunter allegedly left his laptop in a Delaware repair shop. A total of 15 businesses owned by Hunter and his associates were listed on the legal document.

A spokesperson for Hunter could not be reached for comment Sunday night.
Last year, Hunter revealed that he’s under investigation for possible tax fraud and he told “CBS This Morning” in April that he had no plans to strike a plea deal.

Hunter Biden, 50, disclosed the probe in a statement released by his father’s presidential transition team.

“I learned yesterday for the first time that the US Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter said in the statement.

“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”

In October 2020, The Post exclusively revealed that a hard drive holding the contents of Hunter’s laptop contained a trove of emails detailing his controversial overseas business dealings, as well as explicit photos and videos.
One especially raunchy video appeared to show him smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman.

New York Times Sues To Get Hunter Biden Information

TUESDAY, FEB 01, 2022 - 11:24 AM
Authored by Jonathan Turley,

We have repeatedly discussed the virtual news blackout on the influence peddling by the Biden family, particularly Hunter Biden.

Despite overwhelming evidence of millions given by foreign companies and officials, the media has preferred to cover literal scoops over a story of breathtaking levels of self-dealing and corruption by the Bidens.

Now, however, the New York Times has sued to force the Biden Administration to turn over information on Hunter Biden’s Romanian dealings.

The lawsuit comes after another report that, in 2019, the FBI subpoenaed JP Morgan for records on Hunter Biden’s Chinese dealings.

In a new lawsuit on Monday, the Times sued the State Department to obtain emails from Romanian embassy officials sent between 2015 and 2019 mentioning a number of international business figures, including the president’s son and his former business associate Tony Bobulinski.

While the request was sent in December 2021, the Biden Administration told the Times that the soonest that it could possibly turn over the information is April 15, 2023. That is after the mid-term elections.

This story could be a bit awkward for the White House staff.

When the New York Times Ken Vogel wrote about Hunter Biden’s dealings as a potential “significant liability,” Biden officials viciously attacked him while others suggested that he was a pawn of Russian or Trump disinformation.

Of course, the allegations proved to be true and the infamous laptop is now considered authentic.

One of the most outspoken aides denying the entire story was Kate Bedingfield, who is now the director of White House Communications. She denounced the story as an “egregious act of journalistic malpractice.”

Andrew Bates, who is now deputy director, tweeted “SCOOP from Philadelphia: KEN VOGEL (@kenvogel ) is a COWARD.”

They will now handle questions on this story as White House officials. That includes why President Biden repeatedly said that no one had accused Hunter or his family of “doing anything wrong” when he was presumably aware of the FBI subpoena and the seizure of the laptop. Given these investigations, there is also the question of why a special counsel has not been appointed given President Biden’s past comments that have been contradicted by witnesses (as well as references to his own financial accounts in these emails).

The media and FBI investigations now cover transactions ranging from China, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, and other countries. Millions flowed to the Biden family while Joe Biden was Vice President and later as he prepared for a presidential run. Biden is still running out for ice cream and the media is dutifully covering it. The question however remains whether this will remain just desserts .
. . or whether Hunter and others will receive their just deserts for influencing peddling.

New York Times Sues State Department to Get Hunter Biden Information

The New York Times on Monday sued the State Department to obtain emails from Romanian embassy officials sent between 2015 and 2019 that mention Hunter Biden and his former associate Tony Bobulinski, Politico reported.

Recall, Tony Bobulinski was the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings which was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family.

Tony Bobulinski said Joe Biden was heavily involved in his son’s international business dealings.

“Hunter Biden called his dad “the Big Guy” or “my Chairman” and frequently referenced asking him for the sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing,” Bobulinski said. “I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen first hand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”

“In a new lawsuit on Monday, the newspaper sued the State Department to obtain emails from Romanian embassy officials sent between 2015 and 2019 mentioning a number of international business people, including the president’s son and his former business associate TONY BOBULINSKI, who briefly became a political celebrity at the end of the 2020 election because of his Biden connections.” – Politico reported.
One of the Times’ goals in the suit appears to be finding out whether embassy officials did any favors on behalf of private businesses (including, presumably, that of the president’s son) that would raise questions about possible conflicts of interest and corruption.
Specifically, the request seeks records about “(1) the possible improper use of federal government resources to assist and advance private business interests with connections to United States government officials and (2) the possible evasion of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) by those private business interests, and (3) the non-enforcement of FARA by the federal government in relation to those private business interests.”

The FOIA requests are a sign that the paper is still investigating the web of international business relationships cultivated by the president’s son. Senate Republicans in 2020 searched for evidence that then-vice president Biden manipulated Ukraine policies to benefit his son but failed to prove any wrongdoing by Biden himself.
Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley weighed in the Times’ lawsuit aimed at digging into Hunter Biden’s dealings and said it “could get a bit awkward for the White House staff.”

Here’s a brief background on part of Hunter Biden’s China money laundering scheme with CEFC:

Bobulinski described how Jim Biden and Hunter Biden went behind his back and did a shady side deal with CEFC and got a $5 million “interest free loan” from the Chinese energy firm.

On August 8, 2017, $5 million was wired from a CEFC-affiliated investment vehicle to the bank account for Hudson West III, which spent the next year transferring $4,790,375 million directly to Hunter Biden’s firm, Owasco, according to Senate documents.

Senate investigators described how the Chinese state owned energy company wired the $5 million “loan” to Hunter’s firm through an investment vehicle — to the bank account for Hudson West III –which then dispersed the money to Hunter’s firm (money laundering).

Background on part of Hunter Biden’s money laundering operation through Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings:

In 2014, Hunter Biden was paid millions of dollars to sit on the board of Burisma Holdings, a corrupt Ukrainian energy company despite having no experience in the field.

Hunter Biden was being paid millions of dollars from Burisma at the same time his father Joe Biden was US VP and tasked as the point man to handle Ukraine policy.

Around the time the FBI opened its investigation into Hunter Biden and his associates, Rudy Giuliani dropped a bombshell revealing a huge money laundering operation involving the Bidens and Burisma Holdings.

Giuliani described how Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor general investigating Burisma discovered Hunter’s money laundering scheme.

“All of a sudden Shokin gets this communique from Latvia that shows a $16 million laundering transaction — classic laundering transaction,” Giuliani said. “It goes from Ukraine, to Latvia, it’s disguised as a loan to another company to ‘Wirelogic’ I believe — it then goes to Cyprus, gets disguised as another loan — this is called “Digitech” then it’s dispersed as payment as board fees,” he added.

Giuliani added, “Now you don’t make two loans to make board fees unless you’re laundering the money. $3 million gets to Hunter Biden in that way.”

“That is a straight out violation of a money laundering statute,” he said.

Classified State Department email declared Hunter Biden 'undercut' U.S. efforts in Ukraine

Withheld from public for five years, memo conflicts with Democrats' official narrative that president's son had no impact on U.S. anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine.

By John Solomon
Updated: February 1, 2022 - 11:34pm

In an email kept from public view for more than five years, a top U.S. State Department official in Kiev wrote to Washington superiors at the end of the Obama-Biden administration that Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine "undercut" U.S. efforts to fight corruption in the former Soviet republic.

The email, obtained by Just the News, was written on Nov. 22, 2016 by former U.S. embassy official George Kent, one of the Democrats' star witnesses in their first effort to impeach former President Donald Trump.

It was classified "confidential," the lowest level of secrecy, by then-U.S. Ambassador to Kiev Marie Yovanovitch, another of the Democrats' impeachment witnesses, and was not produced as evidence to House lawmakers during impeachment. Contrary to federal law, the State Department failed to acknowledge the existence of the document to the court or to Just the News in its multiple Freedom of Information Act lawsuits against the State Department seeking records on Hunter and Joe Biden's dealings in Ukraine.

Most importantly, the email's stark message directly conflicts with the narrative the mainstream media, State Department witnesses and Democratic congressmen gave the public two years ago, when they insisted Hunter Biden's lucrative job with the allegedly corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings — while creating the appearance of a conflict of interest — had no impact on U.S. efforts to fight corruption in that country.

"The real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter's presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine," Kent wrote multiple high-ranking officials in the State Department in Washington.

The recipients of the email included Jorgan K. Andrews, then the-Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.

Kent's email described an intense pressure campaign by advocates for Burisma — including a former U.S. ambassador — to rehabilitate the Ukrainian company's corrupt reputation and to get Ukraine prosecutors to drop their criminal investigations of the company.

Kent even relayed to higher-ups that he had confirmed with Ukrainian prosecutors that Burisma officials had paid a $7 million "bribe" to make one of the cases against the company disappear. The bribe was allegedly paid at a time when Hunter Biden was serving on the Burisma board, a job that landed his firm more than $3 million from the Ukrainian energy company.

Kent explained to the officials in Washington that Burisma's long reputation for alleged corruption and anecdotes like the bribe were one of the main reasons Hunter Biden's affiliation with the company proved harmful to U.S. efforts to fight Ukrainian corruption.

"Ukrainians heard one message from us," Kent wrote, "and then saw another set of behavior, with the [BIden] family association with a known corrupt figure whose company was known for not playing by the rules in the oil/gas sector."

You can read Kent's email here:

The email chain also showed that State officials were acutely aware that Hunter Biden had an affiliation with an American business partner also accused — and eventually convicted of — corruption.

"I should note that there were two American members of the Burisma board: Hunter Biden and Devon Archer," another State official on the email chain wrote Kent and Andrews. "Archer was recently indicted in a federal fraud case."

Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan, the ranking member on the House Government Oversight and Reform Committee, played a key role in defending President Trump in the 2019-20 Ukraine impeachment scandal. He told Just the News Tuesday night that lawmakers and Trump's defense team were not given the Kent email as best he could tell.

"This is frightening," Jordan told the new Just the News television show on Real America's Voice network. "And the fact that we didn't have this information during the impeachment, I think is maybe the biggest concern. I mean, the President of the United States is defending himself from a ridiculous impeachment process that the Democrats bring on him, where he wasn't allowed to be in the depositions, wasn't allowed to have his counsel there.

"And now we find out wasn't allowed to have information that he's entitled to have to put on his defense. I mean, frankly, we Republicans who were in the rooms in that bunker in the basement of the Capitol, we'd have liked to have this information that you just described, and other information that wasn't available to us as well, that you've written about."

State Department officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday about the memo.

Alan Dershowitz, the famed Harvard law professor who was a member of Trump's impeachment defense team, said the withholding of Kent's email and other evidence Just the News reported earlier this week was a "very serious constitutional violation" of what is known as the Brady rule requiring all potentially exculpatory evidence be turned over to defendants.

"The United States Supreme Court in the Brady decision ruled that when a defendant is on trial, the prosecutors cannot withhold evidence that could be exculpatory, or in any way helpful to the defendant," Dershowitz said.

"And obviously, that has to apply to impeachment proceedings even more so," he added. "Because in impeachment proceedings, the American public has the right to know all the evidence. And if the people who impeached President Trump — obviously I was one of the lawyers on the other side — were aware of exculpatory evidence or evidence that would in some way mitigate the charges, they had an obligation to turn it over to us so that we could use this information in defending our client."

Officials who served in the State Department back in 2019-20 said they do not believe the email was produced to the impeachment investigation and was definitely not produced after the successful FOIA lawsuits filed by Just the News and the Southeastern Legal Foundation seeking all records related to Hunter Biden and Burisma.

They said the email — though once classified at the confidential level — was circulated in non-classified settings towards the end of the Trump administration and was produced to Senate investigators in late 2020 to be read in a secure reading room.

Kimberly Hermann, the general counsel for the Southeastern Legal Foundation, said the Kent email was clearly responsive to the FOIA requests and should either have been produced to Just the News during the litigation or identified on a privilege log as a document being withheld by the government. She vowed to seek penalties against the government.

"The State Department should have produced these documents years ago when SLF and JTN first requested them," Hermann said. "Instead, they denied their existence, hid them, and arguably did so in bad faith. These bad actors must now be held accountable for what the documents show, for hiding them, and for misleading the American public."

Jordan said his congressional investigators will be reviewing testimony from the impeachment trial and a separate Senate investigation into the Biden family led by Sen. Ron Johnson in 2020 to see if any of the new evidence conflicts with sworn testimony given to Congress.

"Well, it's something we're going to have to look at," Jordan said. "We've got to go back and review their transcripts."

Just the News reviewed testimony given by more than two dozen people during the impeachment proceedings and Johnson's Senate probe and found no mention of the Kent email but found numerous statements that Hunter Biden's role with Burisma had no effect on U.S.-Ukraine policy.

Kent in both proceedings testified that Hunter Biden's affiliation with Burisma created the appearance of a conflict of interest for Joe Biden and that one time he tried to raise the issue with Biden's vice presidential office and was rebuffed. He also sharply criticized this reporter's articles for The Hill that raised questions about the Bidens' business dealings in Ukraine.

"I was on a call with somebody on the Vice President's staff and I cannot recaIl who it was, just briefing on what was happening in Ukraine," Kent told impeachment investigators in 2019. "I raised my concerns that I had heard that Hunter Biden was on the board of a company owned by somebody that the U.S. Government had spent money trying to get tens of millions of dollars back and that could create the perception of a conflict of interest.

"The message that I recall hearing back was that the Vice President's son Beau was dying of cancer and that there was no further bandwidth to deal with family related issues at the time."

Kent gave a similar answer to Johnson's Senate investigators a year later.

"Burisma's owner was a poster child for corrupt behavior, and Hunter Biden's position on the board could create the perception of a conflict of interest at the time when Vice President Biden was leading the policy charge, pushing President Poroshenko and Prime Minister Yatsenyuk to take more decisive anti-corruption action," he testified.

Kent2020SenateInterview.pdf

But Democrats pressed on whether that conflict had any impact on U.S. policy.
"You know, for a fact, that Hunter Biden's role on the board had zero impact on the decisions of the Embassy," Kent was asked.

"To the best of my experience and knowledge that is correct," the respected career diplomat answered.

HUNTER BIDEN: Latest Corruption Evidence Triggers Demands For Special Counsel

Written by Wes Walker on February 3, 2022
FacebookTwitterFlipboard

If the media hadn’t worked so hard to discredit and suppress true stories about Hunter Biden, his dad would never have won the election.

That isn’t speculation. It’s one of the things that post-election battleground state polling revealed about Biden voters. Enough would have turned their back on him that he wouldn’t have carried any of the battleground states. (That’s leaving aside some of the damning objective evidence Dinesh D’Souza has put into his latest documentary.)

When Joe first announced he was running, many of us on the right thought he’d be a nightmare candidate… not just because of his personal failings, but because of the baggage Hunter brought with him.

Even before we came to impeachment, we knew about Burisma, and the money Hunter made in some big deals with China. We knew, or thought we knew, about the pay-for-play rackets that several families of highly-placed politicians (often, but not exclusively, Democrat) had their fingerprints on. Tellingly, even Hunter himself admitted that he probably would not have gotten his job opportunities but for the fact that his father was an influential politician.

More evidence of Hunter’s corruption and financial dealings with foreign oligarchs surfaced during the first impeachment — and other evidence should have including exculpatory evidence which should have been provided to Trump in his defense, as reported by John Solomon, who has been on this case for years.
In an email kept from public view for more than five years, a top U.S. State Department official in Kiev wrote to Washington superiors at the end of the Obama-Biden administration that Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine “undercut” U.S. efforts to fight corruption in the former Soviet republic.
The email, obtained by Just the News, was written on Nov. 22, 2016 by former U.S. embassy official George Kent, one of the Democrats’ star witnesses in their first effort to impeach former President Donald Trump.

It was classified “confidential,” the lowest level of secrecy, by then-U.S. Ambassador to Kiev Marie Yovanovitch, another of the Democrats’ impeachment witnesses, and was not produced as evidence to House lawmakers during impeachment. Contrary to federal law, the State Department failed to acknowledge the existence of the document to the court or to Just the News in its multiple Freedom of Information Act lawsuits against the State Department seeking records on Hunter and Joe Biden’s dealings in Ukraine.

Most importantly, the email’s stark message directly conflicts with the narrative the mainstream media, State Department witnesses and Democratic congressmen gave the public two years ago, when they insisted Hunter Biden’s lucrative job with the allegedly corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings — while creating the appearance of a conflict of interest — had no impact on U.S. efforts to fight corruption in that country. — JustTheNews
Democrats tried to paint Trump as corrupt, while framing Joe Biden’s infamous pressure to fire their prosecutor as somehow ‘defending’ American anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine.
In the Nov. 22, 2016, email, former State Department official George Kent, then the deputy chief of mission at the US Embassy in Ukraine, recounted a discussion in which he detailed the “saga” surrounding the graft case against Mykola Zlochevsky, a former Ukrainian natural resources minister and founder of Burisma Holdings, which paid Hunter Biden $1 million a year to sit on its board.

Kent recalled saying “that the real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter’s presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine.”

“Ukrainians heard one message from us and then saw another set of behavior, with the family association with a known corrupt figure whose company was known for not playing by the rules in the oil/gas sector,” Kent added. — NYPost
Who was in the White House in November of 2016? Oh, right, the ‘Joe-bama’ administration. Funny how this email somehow stayed buried during Impeachment proceedings, isn’t it?

We’ve come to the moment where even hyper-partisans a the NYTimes can’t sweep Hunter’s sketchy behavior under the rug anymore… and is going to court over FOIA-ed emails involving Hunter’s business dealings.

This VERY belated revelation tells us two things.

First, there are (and have been for a number of years) evidence-based credible corruption allegations against the Biden family itself.

Second, the alphabet agencies that should have been responsible for investigating allegations of corruption and fraud have been complicit in concealing the evidence that would substantiate such allegaitons.

There is a lot of data from the last few years to make us doubt the political objectivity of federal law enforcement.

Just off the top of this writer’s head, we could draw our lessons from the tarmac meeting, Hillary’s emails, Crossfire Hurricane, General Flynn, the public discrediting of journalists like John Solomon who were looking into the Ukraine corruption allegations, the demonstrably dishonest under-oath testimony of Trump’s public-servant accusers during impeachment, the falsified allegations of both the leaked phone call used as the premise of Ukraine impeachment and the falsified narrative around Trump’s election result phone call (that WaPo belatedly walked back) that provided the single basis for the one charge named in the second impeachment, FBI arresting Project Veritas journalists and leaking their phone data to the NYT, the Whitmer kidnapping plot, Ray Epps, not to mention the disparate treatment of the railroading of Jan 6 protesters and the dismissal of charges against BLM/Antifa rioters.

Simply put, once-trusted Federal agencies have become little more than the police-state enforcement arm of the Democrat Party. If that statement seems shocking or extreme, you don’t need to look back very far… just look at the coordination between the White House, the Teachers’ Union, and the cooperation of the Feds in tagging parents whose great ‘crime’ was speaking up at school board meetings, as terrorists.

It’s time for accountability and the NYPost editorial board is putting their necks on the line in demanding it.
It’s past time for Garland to explain why he hasn’t named a special counsel.

This idea has been batted around at least since Hunter’s smelly art sales surfaced.

And the drip of damning news has only continued: a former business partner “co-operating completely” with the feds; congressional allegations that the Secret Service improperly redacted records relating to Hunter’s travels; news that Hunter’s bank records on his dealings with the Bank of China were subpoenaed in May 2019.

That is, the feds have been looking at Hunter since the Obama administration. Given all this, Biden should have put the probe under impartial supervision long ago. In between, Justice has managed to fully investigate, for example, everything about then-President Donald Trump’s supposed collusion with Russia — albeit via a special counsel.

And: Can you imagine the howls of outrage if Trump had inherited an investigation of Eric or Don Jr. in his first term and left it in the hands of a Justice Department staffed by his own appointees?

Unless and until Garland produces an explanation for why he’s avoided an independent prosecutor, or his minions actually bring charges, Americans have every reason to suspect politics is standing in the way of justice. — NYPost
President or not, Joe has burned through his political capital and quickly finding out how fickle his ‘friends’ really are.

Schweizer: NYT’s ‘Turn’ on Biden Family ‘an Important Development’

TRENT BAKER3 Feb 20221,306
Video 1:30 min

Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer, author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, reacted to The New York Times suing the State Department for access to Hunter Biden’s emails.

Schweizer told FNC’s “Fox & Friends” that the media’s “turn” on President Joe Biden and his family’s overseas dealings “is an important development.” He added the media see “Biden is struggling as president” and know he is likely on his way out.

“I think a lot of these newsrooms, you had management that did not want to cover these stories. They were sort of putting their fingers on the scale as far as politics are concerned,” Schweizer outlined. “And I honestly think part of the calculation is, Steve, that they see that Joe Biden is struggling as president. He is probably not going to be here for very long. I think this represents a turn, as it were, as far as some of the news publications’ management is concerned.”

think this is an important development,” he added. “I wish they were covering the China relationships with the Bidens. This involves Romania. But still, it’s an important story, and it speaks to the pattern of corruption that exists in the Biden family as it relates to these overseas dealings.”
