Barr Defends Not Making Hunter Biden Probe Public Before Election
SATURDAY, DEC 19, 2020 - 13:30
Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times,

Attorney General William Barr said in an interview published Friday that he has no regrets over not letting the public know before the election that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son was under investigation.

Barr told The Wall Street Journal that a Department of Justice (DOJ) rule against publicly confirming probes that involve candidates for office is “not absolute” and that he could think of scenarios in which the government has “decisive evidence of a serious crime against a candidate.”

Absent such decisive evidence, though, Barr said, there’s “damn good reason for the rule,” which protects candidates and people in their orbits from the government.
“Think about the power it would give the federal bureaucracy,” Barr said.
“The standard for investigating someone is low. So just gin up an investigation, make it public, affect every election.”
Barr, in expressing no regrets, tacitly expressed for the first time that he knew Hunter Biden was under investigation by federal authorities before Nov. 3 but didn’t let the public know.

Joe Biden’s team released a statement from the younger Biden last week, in which Hunter Biden acknowledged he was being investigated.
“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter Biden said in a statement.
“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisers.”

Barr’s refusal to make the Hunter Biden probe seemed to upset President Donald Trump.
“Why didn’t Bill Barr reveal the truth to the public, before the Election, about Hunter Biden. Joe was lying on the debate stage that nothing was wrong, or going on,” Trump wrote in one tweet.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump added:
“Joe Biden lied on the debate stage. He said ‘there’s nothing happening, nothing happening,’ and Bill Barr should have stepped up. Say what you want about Robert Mueller, when [a news outlet] put out a phony article … Bob Mueller stepped out and he said that article was a phony and then there was ultimately proven there was no collusion. Bill Barr should have done the same thing.”
Mueller, who was appointed a special counsel to investigate Trump’s alleged links to Russia, on multiple occasions during the investigation responded strongly to assertions made in various reports.
“BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the special counsel’s office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate,” Peter Carr, a spokesman for Mueller’s office, said in a statement in January.
Buzzfeed had claimed Trump had directed his former lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about the timing of talks for a Trump Tower project in Moscow. The Mueller team’s final report showed the story was false.

K.T. McFarland: Special Counsel Must Be Appointed on Hunter Biden
K.T. McFarland: Special Counsel Must Be Appointed on Hunter Biden

(Handout/DNCC via Getty Images)
By Sandy Fitzgerald | Friday, 18 December 2020 03:43 PM

There are several reasons why a special counsel must be appointed to investigate Hunter Biden because as president, Joe Biden's most important national security decisions will involve China, former deputy national security adviser K.T. McFarland said Friday.

"Hunter Biden has received hundreds of millions of dollars of contracts over the years from the Chinese government, Chinese companies," McFarland said on Fox News' "America's Newsroom." "The Justice Department is going to be put in a difficult decision."

It must be determined if Biden had a connection with his son's business interests, she added.
"Joe Biden has had a long history of being soft on China, of looking the other way," said McFarland. "During the campaign, he said China is no strategic threat. A special counsel is the only way we'll find out if there is any there, there. If I was Joe Biden and had nothing to hide I would want a special counsel. I would want to have my record to be examined ... if there is something there, the American people need to know."

McFarland also said she disagrees with Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., who said this week that Biden would not get in the way of a U.S. attorney's investigation of his son.

"When a new president comes in, those U.S. attorneys, they get replaced," she said. "So does their investigation continue? Look, it is not about if Joe Biden is a crook or not a crook. I know what it's like inside government. Is the Justice Department really going to go after a president that they really like, that they feel strongly in favor of? It's a career breaker."

It's better, she said, to pull the investigation "away from politics" and to allow a special counsel to do their work and tell the American people what had been going on.

"The American people need to take a cold, hard look at China," she said. "The way to do it is through Hunter Biden and the financial relationship business, political and thought leaders have with the Chinese government."

Joe Biden’s family racks up arrests for drugs, drunk driving — but no jail time

In August 2019, Caroline Biden, 33, a niece of former Vice President Biden, was busted in Lower Merion Township, Penn., for driving under the influence and without a license, public records show. While the case is active, it’s unlikely Caroline will face much in the way of consequences — if history and Biden family rap sheets are any guide.

Her arrest, which was never made public, was at least the ninth among Joe Biden’s close family, and followed incidents involving his brother Frank, his son Hunter and his daughter Ashley. The cases — ranging from felony theft to drug possession — were all either thrown out, or resulted in light sentences with no jail time, according to a Post review of public records and published reports.

The Pennsylvania drunken-driving collar was the third run-in with the law for Caroline, who is the daughter of Joe’s younger brother, James Biden Sr. In September 2013, she was booked for allegedly hitting an NYPD officer during a full scale meltdown at her Tribeca apartment, following a dispute with a roommate over unpaid rent. The case was dismissed after Caroline agreed to anger management treatment.

In 2017, she was busted for spending more than $110,000 on a stolen credit card. A felony conviction was later tossed, and she was allowed to re-plead to the lesser charge of petty larceny as part of a sweetheart deal negotiated by her attorneys. She avoided jail time.

There is no evidence that Joe Biden, now the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, ever personally interceded on his family’s behalf — but the string of favorable outcomes has raised eyebrows.

“Eric Garner or George Floyd on the day each died could have benefited from the Biden touch,” criminal defense attorney Robert Barnes told The Post. Barnes — who is currently representing “Central Park “Karen” Amy Cooper — added that the kid gloves for Biden’s kin was “very unusual treatment when looking at the … treatment over time, geography, and kind of crime involved.”

Biden’s campaign spokesman TJ Ducklo, when asked if Biden ever made phone calls to law enforcement on behalf of busted relatives, said, “No he didn’t, and this entire story is garbage.”

The trouble for Ashley Biden, 39, started with a pot bust when she was a student at Tulane University in 1999. New Orleans police confirmed the possession arrest of the daughter of the then-Delaware senator, but no conviction was recorded in court records.

Ten years later, during her father’s vice-presidency, video circulated showing a woman resembling Ashley snorting what appeared to be cocaine at a party. Joe Biden refused to comment on the reports, and there were no legal consequences.

A second misdemeanor arrest for the Biden daughter was reported in 2002 after she allegedly attempted to obstruct a police officer — making “intimidating statements” — after a bottle-throwing brawl outside a Chicago bar. The charges were dropped.

Ashley hung up the phone when contacted by The Post.

Joe Biden’s brother, Francis ‘Frank’ Biden, 66, won the prize for the most bizarre Biden family bust when he allegedly stuffed two DVDs from a Florida Blockbuster down his pants in October 2003, cops said. He was 49 at the time. He never showed up for a scheduled court hearing on the attempted theft and the state attorney declined to prosecute, according to records obtained by the Miami New Times.

He had more serious scrapes with the law. He was pinched in August 2003 for drunk driving in Fort Lauderdale, earning six months probation. He was arrested a year later for driving with a suspended license but avoided jail again by spending three months in rehab. In 1999, Biden was a passenger in a car involved in a fatal drunk-driving accident. He was found partially liable for the death of 38-year-old William Albano, and owes his family almost $1 million dollars, according to the Daily Mail.

Today, Frank Biden works as a senior advisor to the Berman Law Group. He did not respond to request for comment, but has said previously that he has been “sober for a long time.”

Biden’s son Hunter’s long history of drug abuse began in 1988 with an arrest for drug possession — at around the same time his father was intensifying his War on Drugs bonafides and pushing for stiffer sentences for drug users. “I was cited for possession of a controlled substance in Stone Harbor, NJ. There was a pre-trial intervention and the record was expunged,” he admitted in a disclosure after being nominated to serve on the Amtrak Reform Board in 2006.

The same year Hunter was arrested, Sen. Biden voted for the Anti-Drug Abuse Act, which specifically targeted the use of crack cocaine, making it the only narcotic with a mandatory penalty for possession. Since then, however, The Post reported that Hunter Biden was suspected of smoking the rock in 2018 by staffers at Archibald’s Gentlemen’s Club in Washington, D.C. He’s been in rehab at least six times for drugs and alcohol, and by his own admission spent four years addicted to crack. He is not known to have ever spent a day in jail.

'Unprecedented cover-up': Mounting evidence in Hunter Biden scandal suppressed

By Rowan Scarborough - The Washington Times - Sunday, December 20, 2020

Democrats, along with allies in Silicon Valley and the news media, have suppressed the Hunter Biden scandal despite mounting evidence that President-elect Joseph R. Biden‘s son had secret, lucrative financial ties to oligarchs and a powerful communist-connected Chinese businessman.
Since September, it has been a remarkable combination of blacklisting, promoting the theory of a Russian plot against the Bidens or simply ignoring the story. Liberal news websites acknowledged the scandal only after Mr. Biden won the election and Hunter Biden publicly stated that he is under criminal investigation for suspected tax fraud.

The difference is striking for President Trump‘s associates whom media excoriated during the long FBI Russia probe, which did not establish a conspiracy in the 2016 election.

“It was an unprecedented cover-up across so many entities inside and outside of the government,” J.D. Gordon, the 2016 Trump campaign’s national security adviser, told The Washington Times. “Silicon Valley suppressed an actual scandal related to Hunter Biden while hyping a manufactured scandal over Trump-Russia.”

Mr. Gordon, now an analyst for One America News, was dogged by the news media and the special counsel’s office over how he handled a proposed amendment to the Republican Party platform on arming the Ukrainian military. Investigators found no wrongdoing.

News of Hunter Biden‘s extensive cash flow from shady foreigners was documented in a Sept. 23 report by Senate Republicans. It revealed a series of Treasury Department suspicious activity reports on Hunter Biden from Europe to Asia.

The pre-election report, by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican, and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, Wisconsin Republican, received coverage from conservative media. From the dominant liberal press, it was a blackout.

“We found that [the Bidens] engaged in potential criminal financial deals across the globe, including China, which created counterintelligence concerns,” Mr. Grassley said on the Senate floor. “I think it’s outrageous that the Fourth Estate would choose to ignore facts when they are uncovered by Republicans.”

Committee Democrats responded to the report, which relied on official bank wire transfers, by accusing Mr. Johnson of accepting Russian disinformation. Democrats had leaked the conspiracy beforehand to liberal news outlets.

The Democrats claimed that Mr. Johnson’s staff communicated with a Ukrainian politician and known Russian puppet. Mr. Johnson has called that a lie.

“Democrats laundered their unclassified speculation through classified analysis of intelligence reporting to fabricate a veneer of credibility in an effort to shield their claims from public scrutiny. Those false claims were then leaked to friendly media outlets, which reported them as fact,” Mr. Johnson and Mr. Grassley said.

In October, the New York Post revealed the stunning contents of Hunter Biden‘s abandoned MacBook Pro laptop. The hard drive showed the son’s global financial dealings, including message traffic about including Joseph R. Biden in the deals. At least one Ukrainian oligarch representative who financed Hunter Biden received a private audience with his father, who was vice president at the time.

How did the Democrats-Silicon Valley-news media triumvirate react? They played the Russia card.

After the New York Post story appeared, Democrat-aligned former intelligence officers, led by appointees of President Obama, alleged that the laptop was an elaborate Russian plot.
Weeks later, after Mr. Biden won the presidency, no proof of a Moscow-laptop link has emerged.

But an open letter, led by former CIA Director John O. Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper, provided the talking point that news media needed to condemn the laptop reporting instead of following it up. Cable channels CNN and MSNBC launched a cacophony of “Russian plot” talking points to try to suppress the story.

Twitter went a step further. It blacklisted the New York Post story altogether from its 6,000-tweets-a-second platform. Gatekeepers claimed the messages were the result of a hack, even though there was no such evidence. Facebook limited the article’s distribution.

Jason Maloni, a public relations executive who worked as a spokesman for former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, told The Washington Times that he is surprised the media ignored what Hunter Biden did during his father’s vice presidency. Manafort, hounded relentlessly by the press and congressional Democrats, was convicted of tax fraud but not a Russian conspiracy.

“I am surprised and saddened about how incurious some are about some truly concerning and verifiable facts,” Mr. Maloni told The Washington Times. “Every single day, stories emerge where there is a need for no-agenda investigative journalism, apolitical platforms, and lawmakers with zero interest in scoring political points to help us understand how large is the iceberg beneath the surface. When did we become so afraid of a narrative that doesn’t quite fit our neat little worldview?”

David Harsanyi wrote in National Review: “Journalists claim they can’t cover the New York Post’s Hunter Biden email scoop because the underlying evidence has yet to be verified. Also, they won’t look for any verifying evidence because there isn’t enough evidence. It’s quite the conundrum.”

Ironically, it was Democrats, led by Rep. Adam B. Schiff of California, and their penchant for accusing detractors of being Russian assets that prompted former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski to come forward on Fox News. He verified the messages’ authenticity. Liberal media still shunned the story.

Mr. Harsanyi wrote: “Perhaps my favorite part of yesterday’s interview, though, was learning that Adam Schiff’s ugly and mendacious habit of smearing anyone he disagrees with as a Russian asset is what allegedly helped spur Bobulinski, a former U.S. Navy lieutenant, to come forward.”

The laptop launch point was a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware. The owner said Hunter Biden dropped it off for repairs in April 2019 and never returned. The owner eventually provided the contents to the FBI and to Trump attorney Rudolph W. Giuliani.

Together, the laptop and the Senate report showed the profile of a son cashing in on his father’s federal office.

Millions of dollars in investments and consulting fees flowed to him from a Moscow oligarch close to Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2014, a Ukrainian energy firm deemed corrupt by the U.S. government and a fantastically wealthy Chinese corporate figure working with the Chinese Communist Party and the People’s Liberation Army.

That businessman, Ye Jianming, whose firm directly wired millions of dollars to Hunter Biden, was accused of corruption in 2018 and disappeared.

At one point, Ye associates financed a $100,000 shopping spree by Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden, the Senate report showed. Hunter Biden also provided thousands of dollars to European women involved in human trafficking.

The conservative watchdog Media Research Center commissioned a poll by Republican pollster McLaughlin & Associates. It showed that 36% of Biden voters were not aware of Hunter Biden‘s scandal and that 13% of those said they would not have voted for the former vice president if they had known.

“Big Media and Big Tech Stole the 2020 Election,” the Media Research Center said.

Said Mr. Gordon, the former campaign adviser: “For all the attention on foreign election interference, public censorship by domestic groups like Twitter and Facebook was more impactful in shaping the outcome. Big Tech is rapidly becoming Big Brother straight out of Orwell’s ‘1984.’ Its unholy alliance with the federal bureaucracy and elected Democrats poses one of the biggest internal threats facing America today. Our freedom is in free fall.”

AG Barr Sees "No Need" For Special Counsel On Hunter Biden

MONDAY, DEC 21, 2020 - 11:07

Answering questions during his PanAm 103 terrorist bombing probe press conference, Attorney General William Barr says he sees no reason to appoint a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden.

Additionally, Barr confirmed he does not plan to announce any actions on Hunter Biden before leaving DOJ.

Additionally, Barr said that he "saw no basis" for seizing voting machines, when asked if the President had legal authority... and with regard to election fraud, Barr added that "if I thought a special counsel at this stage was the right tool, I would name one, but I haven't and I'm not going to."

Presumably we, the people should just trust the American justice system to see this through without political intereference...

This comes just days after Barr said in an interview published Friday that he has no regrets over not letting the public know before the election that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son was under investigation.

We give the final word to Pepe Escobar, who appeared to sum up Bill Barr perfectly:
"Barr is now out of the picture (see his letter of resignation). Barr is a notorious Daddy Bush asset since the old days – and that means classic Deep State. Barr knew about all federal investigations on Hunter Biden dating back to 2018, covering potential money laundering and bribery. And still, as the Wall Street Journal delightfully put it, he “worked to avoid their public disclosure during the heated election campaign”."
Gatekeeper, indeed.

Biden hasn't discussed Hunter in his search for an AG, some stories about son were 'Russian disinformation'

'The attorney general of the United States of America is not the president's lawyer'

By Morgan Phillips | Fox News

Fox News Flash top headlines for December 22

"Has the issue of investigations with your son come up with your team and with candidates about (sic) attorney general?" a reporter asked.

"No, no I guarantee you I'm going to do what I said," Biden responded. "The attorney general of the United States of America is not the president's lawyer. I will appoint someone I expect to enforce the law as the law is written, not guided by me."

Shortly after, Biden was asked by Fox News’ Peter Doocy whether he thought previous stories regarding his son’s purported laptop were the work of "Russian disinformation."

"Yes, yes, yes. God love ya, man. You are a one-horse pony. I tell ya. Thank you. thank you. I promise you my justice department will be totally on its own making its judgments about how to proceed," the president-elect said.

The FBI is now in possession of the laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden, which contained emails revealing his foreign business dealings, including contacts in Ukraine and China.

The FBI and Justice Department officials have concurred with acting-Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe that the laptop is not part of a Russian disinformation campaign targeting Biden.

The emails in question were first obtained by the New York Post and, in part, revealed that Hunter Biden allegedly introduced his father, the then-vice president, to a top executive at Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings less than a year before he pressured government officials in Ukraine to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the company’s founder.

At the same time, Attorney General Bill Barr, who will conclude his service this week said Monday he has "no plan" to appoint a special counsel to take over the federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax affairs.

Republicans have demanded that a special counsel be appointed to continue the federal investigation into Hunter Biden to ensure that it continues through the incoming Biden administration. President Trump reportedly had been discussing a potential special counsel for that investigation.

Hunter Biden confirmed earlier this month that he is under federal investigation for his "tax affairs."

A well-placed government source told Fox News that Hunter Biden has been a subject/target of the grand jury investigation.

The source said President-elect Biden is not a subject of any grand jury investigation at this time.

The source also told Fox News that this investigation was predicated, in part, by Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) regarding suspicious foreign transactions. Another source familiar with the investigation told Fox News the SARs were regarding funds from "China and other foreign nations."

The investigation, according to a source familiar with the matter, began in 2018. It predates Attorney General Bill Barr, who was confirmed in 2019.

The inquiry could weigh on Biden’s potential pick for attorney general, after Biden has promised to restore the Justice Department’s independence from the White House. Some have called on Biden to appoint a special counsel to make any future decisions regarding his son, to distance both the White House and attorney general.

Trump, before Barr's resignation, hit the attorney general, calling it a "big disappointment" that he knew about the federal investigation into his opponent's son and did not disclose it before Election Day.

"Why didn’t Bill Barr reveal the truth to the public, before the Election, about Hunter Biden. Joe was lying on the debate stage that nothing was wrong, or going on - Press confirmed" Trump tweeted last week. "Big disadvantage for Republicans at the polls!"

Meanwhile, Biden has not yet said whether he’ll commit to keeping the Delaware U.S. attorney investigating Hunter Biden in his position in the new administration.

It’s standard for new presidents to ask for the resignation of all U.S. attorneys upon entering office, but given the conflict of interest, Fox News repeatedly asked the Biden transition team whether the president-elect would keep David Weiss, the U.S. attorney for Delaware, in his role until the investigation into Biden’s son’s taxes was complete.

Hunter Biden Made Money on China’s Energy Company CEFC On Its Way Up and On Its Way Down

By Joe Hoft

Hunter Biden and the Biden family were happy to make money from the Chinese at CEFC on their way up and on their way down.

You can’t make this stuff up. The Bidens made money on Chinese company CEFC when it went up and when it went down.

We’ve already reported how the Bidens were involved with CEFC and how they brought New York Governor Cuomo into the scene as well:

We also reported that the entire Hunter Biden fiasco with CEFC was what Carter Page was blamed for doing while Hunter Biden did it:

Today we can report that the Bidens made money off of CEFC after they were taken over and were on their way down as well. (Hat tip Yaacov Apelbaum.)

Patrick-Ho-Copy.jpg

Patrick Ho (the Vice-chairman and Secretary-General of the CEFC) was busted in New York for international money laundering, conspiracy, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, his partner Hunter signed up to be his lawyer. Hunter’s retainer was $1 million.

Patrick-Ho-Hunter-Engagement-Memo.jpg

Hunter, who is not a criminal attorney, ended-up hiring another attorney named Edward Y. Kim. Not surprisingly, Kim spent a decade as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in the Southern district in NY.

Patrick-Ho-Edward-Kim-SDNY-Copy.jpg

The outcome of all of this compilation of money and political influence was that out of his three year sentence, Ho ended up serving only a few months before he was released.

This is life in today’s dual system of justice but Bill Barr says everything is fine. Nothing to see here.

Joe Biden Flees Podium, Insults Fox News Reporter For Asking About Hunter Biden (VIDEO)

78-year-old Joe Biden on Tuesday delivered remarks ahead of the Christmas holiday.
Virtually no one watched Biden’s speech, but we’re expected to believe he got more than 81 million votes.

Joe Biden is used to softball questions from left-wing media sycophants so he gets really irritated when a reporter asks him questions about his crackhead son Hunter Biden.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy again asked Joe Biden about the federal investigation into his son Hunter.

Joe Biden fled the podium as Peter Doocy shouted questions but Biden got so triggered that he stopped in his tracks, turned around and insulted Doocy.

“Do you still think the stories from the Fall about your son Hunter are Russian disinformation and a smear campaign like you said?” Doocy shouted as Biden brushed him off and fled from the lectern.

Because we don’t have a real media, Joe Biden was able to get away with dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop October surprise as “Russian disinformation.”

Biden once again dismissed the Hunter Biden scandal as Russian disinformation and responded, “Yes! Yes! You’re a one-horse pony! I tell ya!”

While The Spotlight Shines On Hunter Biden, James Biden Is Also Under Investigation

While Hunter Biden dominates headlines implicating the president-elect in his overseas business ventures, James Biden has similar problems.

Tristan Justice

By Tristan Justice
DECEMBER 22, 2020

While President-elect Joe Biden’s son Hunter has dominated headlines about the Biden family business, landing lucrative overseas deals trading on his father’s name, Joe Biden’s brother, James, is too often overlooked in the corruption saga.

Yes, it’s true that Hunter Biden spent years raking in upwards of $50,000 a month on the board of a Ukrainian energy company despite no prior experience in the industry. It’s true that Hunter Biden’s father was serving as the “public face” of White House policy towards Ukraine at the same time.

It’s true that Joe Biden, who spent his entire presidential campaign denying that he ever spoke business with his son, was introduced to an executive of Hunter Biden’s Ukrainian firm, introduced by Hunter Biden. It’s true that Senate investigators found Hunter Biden took $3.5 million from the wife of an ex-Moscow mayor.

It’s true that Hunter Biden parlayed his father’s position into receiving an $80,000 diamond from a Chinese businessman with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party. It’s true that Hunter Biden was discussing a $10 million annual contract with the same Chinese businessmen paid for “introductions alone.” It’s true that Hunter Biden was discussing 10 percent of that sum flowing to Joe Biden.

It’s also true that Hunter Biden was one of three individuals showered in a six-figure shopping spree paid for by the same Chinese business leaders flagged as potential criminal activity by Senate investigators. The other two were James Biden, and James’ wife, Sara Biden.

The Senate report released in September after a three-year investigation expanded the public scope of the Biden family’s decades-long conflicts of interest featuring Joe Biden in the upper echelons of government. By unveiling ties between James Biden and the same Chinese businessmen courting the former vice president through Hunter, the family web of interests interlaced with the Chinese has given rise to new questions regarding Joe Biden’s knowledge and involvement with the family business.

Those questions began to be answered by business partner-turned whistleblower Tony Bobulinski. In a full-hour interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson in October, he claimed the family business activity in China had been corrupt to the point the current president-elect is “compromised” by the Chinese Communist Party.

“I just don’t see, given the history here and the facts, how Joe can’t be influenced in some manner based on the history,” Bobulinski said in prime time.

Bobulinski emphasized the family’s sensitivity about Joe Biden’s involvement. Bobulinski said when he raised concerns with James Biden over the former vice president’s role, James Biden dismissed them, reassuring Bobulinski the family would simply employ “plausible deniability.”

1:16 min

Public reporting of James Biden’s business deals alongside Hunter in China have almost certainly only scratched the surface. What we do know, however, beyond the Chinese business activity that featured an extravagant shopping spree, is that James Biden is under ongoing investigation by federal authorities in Western Pennsylvania over a series of hospital deals struck under Americore Health, a firm built on the model of buying and operating rural hospitals.

FBI agents raided one of the now-bankrupt firm’s hospitals in January, along with the home of its CEO, Grant White. James Biden’s home was not raided, James, a heavy investor in the company, became the subject of a lawsuit from White, accusing him of fraud and racketeering. This ultimately toppled the firm to the ground.

In court documents reported by The Federalist’s Mark Hemingway this spring, White accused James Biden of diverting funds for the struggling Americore for his own, partly used to save a vacation residence in Florida. White says James Biden never paid the company back as the firm was going under.

James, however, had been leveraging his family name to cultivate trust in his ability to grow the business.

“[Biden told me] there’s not a single door in the country that we can’t open. So if I wanted to meet, you know, the head of Google, it’s a phone call,” White said, as Hemingway reported. “He always represented himself as the fundraiser for his brother’s campaigns… he was the guy raising the money and so he knew everybody.”

But the company collapsed and lawsuits followed. Now James Biden is the subject of a federal probe.

In February, however, a lengthy report published by ProPublica chronicled James leveraging the family name through the decades to land six- and seven-figure loans through donors to his older brother’s campaigns.

“The vice president and his brother have always understood and agreed that James’ business ventures are separate from and independent of Joe Biden’s career in public life,” Bates said.
We’ve heard that line before, such as when Joe Biden fat-shamed an Iowa voter for bringing up his son’s Ukrainian business dealings.

“Yet on occasion,” ProPublica reported, “as Jim pursued opportunities, Joe met with his potential clients or partners, at Jim’s request.”

Emails obtained by FBI detail how Hunter Biden landed Ukrainian gas gig in 2014

Memos show concerted strategy to leverage VP Joe Biden's trip to Kiev to score Burisma Holdings deal.

By John Solomon
Updated: December 22, 2020 - 10:41pm

In the weeks before he landed a deal with a Ukrainian gas company in 2014, Hunter Biden strategized with his business partner on how to leverage an upcoming official trip to Kiev by his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to clinch the lucrative arrangement, according to emails obtained a year ago by the FBI.

The communications reviewed by Just the News show that the younger Biden referred to his father as "my guy" and took credit for "adding value" because the vice president made comments to Ukrainian leaders about natural gas production that might benefit his new client.

The memos also show how Hunter Biden pressed to get Burisma Holdings to sign some sort of consulting deal with him and his business partner Devon Archer before the U.S. vice president visited Ukraine on April 21-22, 2014.

"The contract should begin now — not after the upcoming visit of my guy," Hunter Biden wrote Archer in a detailed strategy email on April 13, 2014, a week before his father's high-profile visit.

The memo shows Hunter Biden already knew he was going to be appointed to Burisma's board along with Archer in mid-April 2014 — a month before it was announced — and that he also wanted Burisma to pay an additional consulting fee to him or his law firm Boies Schiller Flexner, referred to in the emails as "BSF."

The deal with Burisma "should include a retainer in the range of 25k p/m w/ additional fees where appropriate for more in depth work to go to BSF for our protection," Hunter Biden wrote. "Complete separate from our respective deals re board participation."

File
BidenArcher4-13-14.pdf

Records previously obtained by Just the News show Burisma paid Boies Schiller Flexner a $250,000 retainer on July 5, 2014 as well as more than $3 million between 2014 and 2016 to a firm connected to Archer and Hunter Biden called Rosemont Seneca Bohais.

The emails were provided to the FBI last December as part of a laptop hard drive believed to belong to Hunter Biden that had been left at a repair shop in Delaware. The shop owner, John Paul Mac Isaac, turned over a copy of the hard drive to agents under a federal grand jury subpoena.

Mac Isaac's lawyer, Brian Della Rocca, confirmed to Just the News on Tuesday that the emails detailing Hunter Biden's efforts to land the Burisma deal in 2014 were on the hard drive turned over to the FBI.

Hunter Biden confirmed Dec. 9 that he is under criminal investigation by the U.S. attorney's office in Delaware for his "tax affairs," but he and his father have insisted he did nothing wrong.
Joe Biden on Tuesday doubled down on his earlier claims that information on the laptop was "Russian disinformation" designed to impugn his family. But the nation's top spy, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, has declared there is no evidence the laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. The FBI has not disputed that assertion and said it had nothing to add to Ratcliffe's assessment.

A senior law enforcement official told Just the News that the FBI is treating the laptop as evidence and in some cases has corroborated information on it from other sources, including cooperating witnesses and other data repositories.

George Mesires, one of Hunter Biden's attorneys, did not respond to an email seeking comment on Tuesday.

If corroborated by the FBI, the emails would provide the most direct evidence to date of how Hunter Biden traded on his father's name to score business with a Ukrainian company run by an oligarch who was under criminal investigation at the time. The emails provide no indication that Joe Biden was aware of what his son was doing in Ukraine.

In the April 13, 2014 email to Archer, Hunter Biden said that he and his partner should portray Joe Biden's visit to Ukraine as part of their consulting deliverables and to "ask for a long term agreement and across the board participation" in Burisma's business. Joe Biden's trip to Ukraine had been announced just a day earlier.

"The announcement of my guys upcoming travels should be characterized as part of our advice and thinking – but what he will say and do is out of our hands," the email stated. "In other words, it could be a really good thing or it could end up creating too great an expectation. We need to temper expectations regarding that visit."

Two days after the email, Archer checked into the Obama White House to meet with Vice President Biden, Secret Service entry logs show.

After Joe Biden made the first day of his high-profile visit to Ukraine on April 22, 2014 as the Obama administration's new point person for the region, Hunter Biden reported in a new email that his father had made comments urging Ukraine to expand its natural gas business while visiting Kiev. The son recommended he and his partner take credit with Burisma for getting the comments in the vice president's speech to Ukrainian legislators.

"Wow. We need to make sure this rag tag temporary Government in the Ukraine understands the value of Burisma to its very existence," Archer wrote Hunter Biden after the vice president's comments were forwarded to him.

Hunter Biden wrote back: "You should send to Vadim – makes it look like we are adding value."
Vadim is an apparent reference to Vadim Pozharskyi, an executive at Burisma who dealt directly with Hunter Biden and Devon Archer. Other emails made public last fall suggest Pozharskyi once had a brief meeting with Joe Biden arranged by Hunter Biden.

The emails show Hunter Biden worked with Pozharskyi on polishing a press release a month later in mid-May 2014 to announce his role on the Burisma board.

It also shows that Hunter Biden was cognizant of the legal controversies surrounding the company and its owner Mykola Zlochevsky and planned to have his team at Boies Schiller reach out to U.S. officials in his father's administration to help Burisma become essential to Ukraine's push to free itself from Russian natural gas, which Vladimir Putin used as a geopolitical weapon.

"We can actually be of real value here,” he wrote. "Developing relationships, bringing US expertise to the company, supplying strategic advice on politics and geopolitical risk assessment.

"BSF can actually have direct discussions at state, energy and NSC. They can devise a media plan and arrange for legal protections and mitigate US domestic negative press regarding the current leadership if need be."

The emails also state Hunter Biden was acutely aware that lobbying on behalf of a foreign company seeking U.S. assistance might trigger requirements under the Foreign Agent Registration Act and urged care that his team stay within the law.

Burisma officials "need to know in no uncertain terms that we will not and cannot intervene directly with domestic policy makers, and that we need to abide by FARA and any other US laws in the strictest sense across the board," Hunter Biden wrote.

The emails also show Hunter Biden hoped to leverage his nascent contacts in Communist China and other countries to possibly create energy deals for Burisma.

"This could be the break we have been waiting for if they really are smart enough to understand our long term value," he wrote. "If they are looking to just use us until the storm passes then we risked far too much for far too little. We could be invaluable in expanding their operations outside Uk [sic] by promoting their US partnerships and expertise - whether that's China, Mexico, other parts of the Black Sea, Poland."

While linking China and Ukraine, Hunter Biden also expressed some frustrations that contacts he had developed in the People's Republic of China had not yet materialized into direct revenue for himself or his company. The son joined the vice president on Air Force Two for a trip to Beijing in December 2013.

"We had assurances that the PRC money would come first, and we would build on that. Right now I don't see that happening," Hunter Biden wrote in mid-April 2014. "If they want us in Beijing once a month and pitching this outside PRC we should be getting paid in advance just like every other team member that's [sic] getting a salary."

Hunter Biden’s Laptop and the FBI–John Paul Mac Isaac Tells His Story

As you saw in the video, the FBI was inept, at best, in exploiting the Hunter Biden hard drive. And this is indirectly damning of Bill Barr’s incompetence in this matter I am sad to say. A Special Counsel is warranted when the son of a man, who is perceived at present as the next President, is embroiled in serious allegations of tax fraud and violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and possible bribery by a foreign power.

Here Is How Hunter Biden Allegedly Traded On Family Name, Influence To Make Millions

THURSDAY, DEC 24, 2020 - 8:40

Just days after outgoing AG William Barr said there is "no need" to appoint a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden despite revelations about a federal criminal investigation into Biden's business conduct, we're seeing the latest "scoop" about the younger Biden's alleged misdeeds.
In a lengthy investigative report, the WSJ has reportedly confirmed that the younger Biden traded on his purported influence and family ties during his business dealings in Ukraine and China (along with his conduct at home in his personal life, where he has seemingly careened from one disaster to the next) to enrich himself - and, importantly, his family as well.

Importantly, in the story, WSJ explicitly notes that "none of the Journal's reporting found that Joe Biden was involved in his son's activities, which mostly took place around the time Obama's second term was wrapping up." Our initial reaction: Of course it wouldn't.

But that doesn't matter so much right now: What this shows is that the federal agents leading the "criminal tax probe" into the younger Biden are looking into how influence peddling and the Biden family name played into this, which could be very, very bad for Hunter's father, and the Democrats.

But the fact that WSJ is reporting and seemingly confirming that the younger Biden benefited 'because of his last name and connections' still has significance.

Even though it shares an owner with Fox News, WSJ, with its closet full of Pulitzers, is still "respected" by the mainstream press.

Through reportedly talking with people familiar with Biden's business dealings, WSJ managed to confirm various that the younger Biden received a discounted stake in a Chinese PE firm that was at the center of the NY Post's reporting, along with consulting arrangements with a Romanian property magnate which "overall allowed him to maintain a globe-trotting lifestyle, according to interviews, documents and communications reviewed by The Wall Street Journal."

It even confirmed that Biden receiving a 2.8-carat diamond from a Chinese energy tycoon that has reportedly found its way to the center of the federal investigation into the president's sons actions.

Most of the details were clearly leaked to WSJ by Senate Republicans. But the takeaway here is pretty clear: even if the information is being used for political purposes, the investigation into Biden holds water. After all, federal investigations aren't opened up for nothing.

By now, as Trump continues with his wave of pardons (he has of course pardoned far fewer people than his predecessor, even adjusted for his shorter time in the saddle), the GOP is ensuring that the investigation into Hunter Biden will be as fraught with leaks and bombshells and "scoops" as any other high profile investigation, including - most obviously - the Mueller probe.

Social media could block out the NY Post, but they couldn't block out WSJ. Though the story wasn't widely covered, now that WSJ has "moved" on it, how much longer can its rivals - even WaPo and NYT - keep this from becoming an "essential" story after inauguration day.

Otherwise, they will lose what little credibility they have left, as critics challenge the press to step up and hold Biden "accountable" like they did Trump.

There also might be an element of payback at play here, as WSJ owner Rupert Murdoch seeks to get back in Trump's good graces after the president sicced his legions of loyal followers on Fox News, threatening its fat profit margins.

Either way, one thing is clear: Leaks like this aren't going to stop.

Hemingway: What Did Foreign Companies Get In Exchange For Paying The Biden Family Business?

DECEMBER 24, 2020 By Jordan Davidson

As the corporate media continues to largely ignore the Biden family corruption scandal, The Federalist Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway is asking why foreign companies paid the Biden family in the first place.

“It’s the ultimate question of this entire thing,” Hemingway said. “The brother of the president-elect, the son of the president-elect, and maybe even some other family members were getting a lot of money and it’s not clear what they were getting the money for.”

“We do know from some of these documents that they were trading on their family name. They were pretty clear that what they had to offer was the family name, but it’s not just the name, it’s ‘What does this money get you?'” she continued.

1608850599105.png
What were Hunter Biden's business partners trying to influence? 6:22 min

While Hemingway noted that trading money for access is often legal, she also asked which American policy goals motivated the overseas companies to pay the Biden family and how they may have compromised U.S. policy.

“The bigger question is what were the policies that these Chinese companies or the wife of the Moscow Mayor or the Ukrainian companies, what were the policies of the U.S. that they were trying to influence? And how did giving money to Hunter and James Biden help them accomplish their policy goals? That’s something that’s very much worth looking into,” Hemingway said.

While Hemingway cautioned against rash investigations by the Justice Department, she acknowledged that Joe’s clear involvement in Hunter’s business dealings warrants attention.
“Those things are usually not a great idea, but they’re put in place primarily for conflicts of interest and this is a pretty standard conflict of interest when the president-elect himself is somewhat involved,” Hemingway said.

“There’s eyewitness testimony saying [Joe] did know about this family business,” she continued. “He has denied knowing it. He’s falsely said it was Russian disinformation when it’s clearly not. It might be the only way forward for the Justice Department for people to have any trust in what they do when they go through this investigation.”

When asked if Trump should pardon Hunter for his crimes as one last effort to spite Biden, Hemingway said that while it would be an “epic troll,” the media would still refuse to cover it.
“I’m not sure this would work on any level because the media would just continue to ignore the entire story rather than treat it as the epic troll that it would be,” Hemingway concluded.

I fail to see how quashing the investigation into a political figure for influence peddling by pardoning his son is considered "trolling" to anyone but us law abiding citizens.

What a curious idea to float.

Hunter Biden 'in the process' of divesting share in Chinese firm: Report

by Tyler Van Dyke, Breaking News Reporter |
| December 24, 2020 05:47 PM

More than a year after President-elect Joe Biden pledged that "no one" in his family would have any connections with foreign deals or governments while he was in office, Hunter Biden still owns a share of a Chinese company — but that might soon change.

Through a Delaware company he directs, Skaneateles, the younger Biden still owns a 10% stake in Bohai Harvest RST, a Shanghai equity investment fund management company, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The younger Biden, however, is reportedly "in the process" of divesting his share, according to the Daily Mail.

Hunter Biden was previously on the board of the Chinese firm but submitted his resignation to China's National Credit Information Publicity System earlier this year.

The business records for Skaneateles found on the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs website list Hunter as the “executive officer” of the company, and the address for the LLC is a multimillion-dollar home in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, rented by Hunter Biden and his wife, Melissa Cohen.

In October 2019, Joe Biden said that his families wouldn't participate in foreign deals.

"No one in my family will have an office in the White House, will sit in on meetings as if they are a Cabinet member, will, in fact, have any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country. Period. Period. End of story," Biden said during an Iowa campaign event.

That same month, Hunter Biden stopped short of pledging to end foreign business involvement but said in a statement through his lawyer that he would follow administration guidelines and would not serve on the board of any foreign companies.

"Under a Biden Administration, Hunter will readily comply with any and all guidelines or standards a President Biden may issue to address purported conflicts of interest, or the appearance of such conflicts, including any restrictions related to overseas business interests," the statement read. "In any event, Hunter will agree not to serve on boards of, or work on behalf of, foreign owned companies."

The sale of Hunter Biden's remaining share is possible, the Wall Street Journal reported, but is "complicated by the difficulty of valuing the firm's holdings of unlisted assets."

Report: A Special Counsel for Hunter Biden Could Still Happen

Source: (AP Photo/Charles Dharapak)
Earlier this week former Attorney General Bill Barr, whose last day was Wednesday, said he had no plans to appoint a Special Counsel to take over the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden's foreign dealings. Currently, Biden is being investigated by Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss.

"To the extent that there is an investigation I think it's being handled responsibly and professionally currently within the Department and to this point I have not seen a reason to appoint a Special Counsel and I have no plan to do so before I leave," Barr said during a press conference at the Department of Justice. "I'm hoping that the next administration handles that matter responsibly."

But according to a Fox News report, the matter is still being debated and a Special Counsel could still be appointed.
High level officials within the Justice Department are in "ongoing discussions" on whether to appoint a special counsel to take over the investigation into Hunter Biden, with some believing it is "warranted," two sources familiar told Fox News Wednesday.
One source familiar told Fox News on Wednesday that it is an "open discussion."
"It is an ongoing discussion," the source told Fox News. "No decisions have been made either way."
Another source told Fox News that some high level DOJ officials believe a special counsel is "warranted," and cited the special counsel statute.
"It was passed to deal with a potential conflict of interest of the attorney general or the president of the United States," the source told Fox News. "A president-elect coming in, where his appointed attorneys will be investigating his son? That’s textbook conflict."
Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden contiues his refusal to answer questions about the matter and says he will not addressing the issue with his candidates for Attorney General. He's also calling allegations against Hunter Biden "Russian disinformation" despite his son's confirmation of the DOJ investigation.

Matthew Whitaker to Newsmax TV: Latest Hunter Biden Email Reports 'Tip of Iceberg'

Video on website 3:43 min

The latest reports saying the FBI was examining Hunter Biden emails showing alleged exploitation of his status as the then-vice president's son with a Ukrainian gas company is just the "tip of the iceberg," according to Matthew Whitaker on Newsmax TV.

Whitaker joined host Grant Stinchfield on Wednesday's "Stinchfield" and was asked about emails obtained by Just the News connecting the Bidens to the Ukrainian gas company Burisma.

"One of the interesting things in my life experiences being a U.S. attorney for 5 1/2 years and then being chief of staff and then acting attorney general, I always know what's publicly available is only the tip of the iceberg as to what the federal investigators have access to," Whitaker said. "So, I'm sure they're looking at more than just this email, some of these other facts that we know are available publicly."

Whitaker said the mainstream media failed in not doing as the New York Post did in reporting the emails before the November election.

The younger Biden joined the board of Burisma in 2014, around the time his father, then Vice President Joe Biden, was helping conduct the Obama administration’s foreign policy with Ukraine.

"This investigation has been going on for months and I think the Department of Justice is well-positioned to get to the bottom of it," Whitaker said. "There’s no doubt these activities, as we’ve known all along, his involvement with Burisma doesn’t smell good. The question is, was there criminal activity? I think that’s ultimately going to be up to the Department of Justice and the attorney general, whoever that is at the time to make that decision."

Whitaker added he supported the DOJ and how it conducts investigations, sometimes covertly.

Biden's "One Horse Pony" Problem: Why The Hunter Biden Scandal Is No Dead Horse

SUNDAY, DEC 27, 2020 - 14:00
Authored by Jonathan Turley,

President-elect Joe Biden has a pony problem. During the primary, Joe Biden bizarrely responded to a woman who asked why voters should believe that he could win a national election by sayingYou’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier. That encounter came to mind when Biden this week mocked Fox reporter Peter Doocy, who violated the virtual news blackout on the Hunter Biden story. by asking about the scandal. Biden immediately walked off stage and then stopped and said “Yes, yes, yes. God love you, man — you’re a one-horse pony, I tell you.”

Like many kids this Christmas, many voters are still angling for a pony. Biden has spent months mocking the Hunter Biden story – and anyone asking about it. When CBS News reporter Bo Erickson asked Biden about his son’s scandal, Bo Erickson drew a similar rebuke from Biden. He simply asked ‘Mr. Biden, what is your response to the New York Post story about your son, sir?’ Biden’s response was again a personal attack: “I know you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.” Biden also blew up at a question that referred by the scandal by a NBC reporter and at a Fox reporter who asked about his son.

It is just not working.

The media openly worked to bury the Hunter Biden scandal before the election, but the ponies keep finding their way back. The problem is when you one reporter like Doocy who refuses to be corralled and insists on an answer to a serious question.

The question last week was a good one. Doocy yelled out “Mr. President-elect, do you still think that the stories from the fall about your son Hunter were Russian disinformation and a smear campaign like you said?” Biden’s response of “yes, yes, yes” seemed to continue a discredited claim (indeed, “disinformation”) put out by figures like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff who assured the pubic that the allegations against “this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin.” Some 50 former intelligence officials, including Obama’s CIA directors John Brennan and Leon Panetta, also insisted the laptop story was likely the work of Russian intelligence. Cable hosts and journalists laughed at the laptop story as fake news to justify the blackout on coverage before the election.

Then the pony showed up again. After the election, it was confirmed (as some of us discussed in columns before the election) that Hunter Biden is under federal investigation. The laptop appears to be genuine. The emails appear to be genuine. And Doocy continued to ask the obvious questions.

Biden is still hoping that he can continue to mock and the media will continue to do the rest.

One reporter yesterday did raise the scandal but only to ask if Biden discussed it with Attorney General candidates (the campaign already said that Biden was going to allow the Justice Department to reach its own conclusions). There are other obvious questions, including whether a key business associate of the Bidens, Anthony Bobulinski, is lying. Either Tony Bobulinski or Joe Biden is lying. Bobulinski is repeatedly praised by Hunter Biden in the emails and identified as the person in control of transactions for “the family.” He has directly contradicted Joe Biden’s denial of any knowledge or involvement in his son’s dubious dealings.

There is a reason why Biden may not want to answer that question. If he calls Bobulinski a liar, Biden would be hit with a defamation lawsuit within days. He would then be forced to go under oath in a defamation. Such depositions present their own dangers. Just ask Bill Clinton. So it is not a pesky pony but a sworn deposition that Biden may be trying to avoid.

The same problem exists on other questions. For example, not only were Joe and Jill Biden included as “office mates” with controversial Chinese investor (and associate of Hunter) Gongwen Dong, but emails also refer to unsecured loans going to the Biden family and shares going to “the big guy.” The “big guy” appears to be Joe Biden. Moreover, Biden spent the election denying that his son did nothing wrong and made no money from China. The question is when Biden learned of the federal investigation and whether he was aware of the dealings over multimillion dollar unsecured loans (as well as alleged gifts like a valuable diamond to his son). Answering those questions falsely could trigger congressional investigation and then more ponies would show up.

That is the problem with a bunker press strategy of denial and isolation. Like water, truth has a way of coming out. Clearly many in the media will continue to be in the bag for Biden. However, horses tend to gather where the water is found. First, there was one pony (Doocy).

Then another showed up (Erickson). Before you know it, you have a herd and a threat of a stampede. Then it could be too late.

In mocking comment to Doocy, Biden was clearly trying to say a “one-trick pony.” That trick however was once called “journalism” back in the day when reporters doggedly demanded answers, particularly on questions like influence peddling. So many of us still hoping for ponies – and even some answers – for Christmas.

New Video Links Biden to Ukrainian Corruption – Burisma Indictment Reveals Ex-President Yanukovich Illegally Obtained $7.4 Billion Laundered Thru Fund “Close to US Democratic Party”

Hunter Biden: board member of Burisma from April 2014 to April 2019

As we reported at the time the head of Burisma Holdings was indicted in November 2019 in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General indicted Burisma owner Nikolai Zlochevsky.

The claim alleges that Hunter Biden and his partners received $16.5 million for their ‘services’

hunter-biden-trump.jpg

Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden took a lucrative post on the Burisma Board in 2014.
Hunter Biden was making millions from the corrupt Ukrainian oil and gas company.

Memos released earlier this month reveal Burisma Holdings, Hunter Biden’s Ukrainian natural gas company, pressured the Obama State Department to help end the corruption investigation during the 2016 election cycle just one month before then-Vice President Joe Biden forced Ukraine to fire Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor probing his son Hunter.

Joe Biden bragged about getting Viktor Shokin fired during a 2018 speech to the Council on Foreign Relations.

The Burisma indictment reveals that former Ukrainian President Yanukovich illegally obtained $7.4 billion and laundered it through an investment fund close to the US Democratic Party.

Via Tass.com:
The MP explained that this information makes up a part of a large-scale scheme of Zlochevsky’s money laundering that involved politicians from the time of ex-President Viktor Yanukovich who continued this scheme under another (now former) President Pyotr Poroshenko, with the backing of former Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva.
“We will reveal the information about the financial pyramid scheme that was created in Ukraine and developed by everyone beginning with Yanukovich and later by Poroshenko. This system is still working under the guidance of the current managerial board of the National Bank, ensuring that money flows in the interest of people who stole millions of dollars, took it offshore and bought Ukrainian public bonds turning them into the Ukrainian sovereign debt,” Dubinksy claimed. He then added that “in both cases of Yanukovich and Poroshenko, Ms. Gontareva and companies she controls were investing the stolen funds.”

Another Verkhovna Rada MP, Andrei Derkach, claimed that the US Franklin Templeton Investments management company was also involved in the scheme.
“The investigation suggests that the Yanukovichs illegally obtained $7.4 billion and laundered it through an investment fund close to the US Democratic Party as government domestic loan bonds,” he pointed out.
More here at Interfax.

The lawmakers posted video of their announcement back in 2019.

This weekend a new video with Ukrainian politician Andrii Derkach revealed more evidence of the Biden family making millions off of the Ukrainian people.

This video is going viral today.

BREAKING: Burisma Indictment Reveals Ex-President Allegedly Obtained $7.4 Bil. Through Fund "Close to Democratic Party"

According to a new bombshell report, an indictment of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma claims that former President Yanukovich acquired $7.4 billion and laundered the money through a fund close with the Democratic party.

Burisma was the company that former Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden worked with.

Check out what Tass.com reported:
According to the politician, "the son of Vice-President Joe Biden was receiving payment for his services, with money raised through criminal means and money laundering." He also clarified that "Biden received money that did not come from the company’s successful operation but rather from money stolen from citizens."
Dubinsky stressed that the information on Hunter Biden’s income under his contract with Burisma is a "link that reveals how money is siphoned [from Ukraine]."
Dubisky stressed that through the implementation of this scheme Ukraine has money siphoned from it with high interest rates — "40% of the state budget is spent on the debt service." "This amount — 440 billion hryvnia [around $18.18 billion — TASS] in the end of 2020 — is the last step towards a default and then Ukraine will go bankrupt either by the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021," he concluded.

More information can be found here at Interfax.

Over the weekend, an old video with Ukrainian politician Andrii Derkach went viral, detailing how the Biden family got rich.

Nearly a year after President Trump was acquitted in an impeachment trial for seeking an investigation of the Biden family business dealings overseas, explosive new revelations have surfaced showing the extent of Hunter Biden's effort to cash in on his father Joe Biden's name and the timing of key business transactions to the former vice president's policy responsibilities and actions.

Here are some of the key dates and evidence:

June 2009
Six months into the Obama-Biden administration, Hunter Biden co-founds an investment fund called Rosemont Seneca Partners with Christopher Heinz, the stepson of then-Senator and future Secretary of State John Kerry, and a former Kerry aide named Devon Archer. The firm would create a series of side business ventures over the next several years in China, Russia, Ukraine and Kazahkstan.

November 2013
Hunter Biden and his business partners form a company called Bohai Harvest RST Partners, or BHR, to do investment business in China.

Dec. 4-7, 2013
Hunter Biden joins his father aboard Air Force II for a trip to Beijing, where he briefly introduces the vice president to his Chinese business partner Jonathan Li. Vice President Joe Biden's official trip to Beijing was to quiet security concerns in the region after Chinese aggression in the China Sea. Less than two weeks after the trip, China officially approves an operating license for the BHR investment.

April 13, 2014
Devon Archer, the business partner of Hunter Biden, son of the VP, and Christopher Heinz, stepson of Secretary of State John Kerry, is named an independent director of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings. That same day, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer exchange emails on how to leverage Joe Biden's upcoming official trip to Ukraine to secure a lucrative consulting contract with Burisma to augment their board memberships. "The contract should begin now — not after the upcoming visit of my guy," Hunter Biden wrote in an email obtained by the FBI.

Hunter Biden writes an email to his business partners complaining money he expected to receive from his Chinese business partners has not come in. "We had assurances that the PRC money would come first, and we would build on that. Right now I don't see that happening," Hunter Biden wrote in an email obtained by the FBI.

The Case For and Against The Appointment Of A Special Counsel In The Hunter Biden Investigation

Below is my column in the Hill on grounds for and against the appointment of a Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation. By refusing address the underlying allegations, Joe Biden is magnifying the concerns over possible conflicts of interest and his own possible exposure. Biden is maintaining that he will not ask potential Justice Department nominees about the investigation but he is also refusing to answer specific questions. In the meantime, he appeared to confirm that he views the investigation to be Russian disinformation. That is a familiar profile in a scandal at the start of an Administration and Democrats are likely to face their own prior calls to investigate the Trump family on such questions of foreign influence.

Here is the column:

While Joe Biden continues to avoid specific questions on the Hunter Bidenscandal, there reportedly are”ongoing discussions” at the Justice Department on whether to appoint a special counsel. Ironically, Joe Biden’s refusal to address specific allegations has only fueled concerns of possible conflicts for his Justice Department conducting this investigation. His stonewalling is making the best case for a special counsel — but some unknowns remain critical to the decision.

Attorney General William Barr left his position this week, following very public conflicts with President Trump, including his opposition to special counsel appointments to investigate the 2020 election and the Hunter Biden scandal. Barr clearly was not opposed to making such appointments; he converted United States attorney John Durham into a special counsel, to guarantee that Durham will complete his investigation into the handling of the Russian collusion investigation.

The question is whether such grounds could emerge with regard to the Hunter Biden investigation. Justice Department regulations allow the appointment of a special counsel when it is in the public interest and an “investigation or prosecution of that person or matter by a United States Attorney’s Office or litigating Division of the Department of Justice would present a conflict of interest for the Department or other extraordinary circumstances.”

The case for a special counsel

Clear conflicts are present in this investigation for Joe Biden. Most obviously, it involves his son.

In addition, Biden has stated repeatedly for more than a year that “no one has suggested my son did anything wrong.” That clearly is not true; many people agree that Hunter Biden was engaged in raw influence-peddling on a global scale. That may not be a crime but it certainly is ethically wrong. Nevertheless, Biden continued that claim after the disclosure that Hunter is the subject or target of a federal investigation. He has referred to the allegations as a continuation of political “foul play” targeting his family.

Previously, Democrats insisted that Trump’s public dismissal of the Russia investigation as a “hoax” supported the appointment of a special counsel. In addition, powerful Democrats like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff claimed the Hunter Biden laptop and emails discovered before the election were just “Russian disinformation” and “this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin.”

Biden himself responded affirmatively — “yes, yes, yes” — to a recent question about whether allegations against his son are “Russian disinformation and a smear campaign, like you said?” So,any criminal or other wrongdoing found by prosecutors would be an obvious embarrassment to Biden.

Further, serious apparent conflicts were revealed in the laptop and emails seized by federal investigators. Biden has refused to acknowledge that the laptop and emails are genuine. He has refused to address direct contradictions in those emails. He has declined to address accounts of key witnesses like Hunter’s business associate, Tony Bobulinski, referring to Biden’s direct knowledge or involvement — in direct conflict with Biden’s repeated denials. The emails refer to payments, office space and other benefits for Joe Biden and his family from foreign countries, particularly China.

Finally, Joe Biden has more than a son or his own credibility at stake. This investigation started in 2018 with a Treasury Department suspicious activity report. That does not mean there was a crime, but foreign financial transactions were flagged as suspicious and there are indications that money-laundering concerns may have been raised.

Repeated references to Joe Biden in these emails could create legal exposure. He could face exposure in other ways, too. One of the reasons Biden has not called Bobulinski a liar is that it likely would trigger a defamation lawsuit with sworn depositions and discovery. Biden is well aware of the perils from such civil litigation. After all, he voted as a senator in the Clinton impeachment trial, which included allegations that Bill Clinton lied under oath in his deposition.

The case against a special counsel

Much of this decision depends on the specific scope and underlying crimes of any investigations. Bill Barr knew those facts when he rejected the need for a special counsel. If this is a narrow tax investigation, then it likely is near completion. The key is not the appointment of a special counsel but the continuation of the current U.S. Attorney in his position pending completion.

During Barr’s tenure, the Justice Department handled a variety of investigations impacting Trump, from the Mueller probe to various investigations into the Trump organization and Trump advisers like Rudy Giuliani and his aides. None required special counsels; all continued without interference or manipulation under Barr’s leadership. There also is a reluctance to allow special counsels to proliferate unless there is little alternative. The potential to embarrass a president is generally not enough. After all, if everyone is a special counsel, they are no longer very special.

The biggest issue is that influence-peddling is legal. It is the favorite form of corruption in Washington. While you cannot give a politician like Biden an envelope of money, you can give his son or other relatives millions in dubious contracts, gifts and loans. The special counsel regulations involve “an investigation or prosecution” only into criminal acts. The Justice Department does not investigate politicians’ unethical conduct or simple lying. Otherwise, it would have little time to do anything else.

Notably, this argument against a special counsel appointment also is an argument for a congressional investigation. Various Democrats demanded investigations of Trump family dealings in foreign countries, including calls for a special counsel or other investigations. In 2018, Schiff wrotethat “the American people deserve to know that our president is acting in their interest and not his own financial self interest, or because he has been compromised by a foreign power.” The fear was that the Trump family was compromised or beholden to foreign interests. Those same fears exist with this scandal, and those same Democrats should support a full congressional investigation.

In the absence of a clear crime, it falls to Congress to investigate “suspicious activities” that could compromise a president or his administration. The Hunter Biden investigation may not warrant a special counsel — but the public deserves answers. The point of influence-peddling is to secure influence over powerful figures. The question is whether the Chinese, Ukrainians and other foreign actors got anything from their efforts.

EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden Maintained a Diary on His Laptop and It’s Full of Just Horrible Stuff

By Joe Hoft
Published January 4, 2021 at 5:14pm
hunter-scarf.jpg

Hunter Biden kept a diary on his laptop and it’s bad. If America knew the real Biden family they would never be allowed in the White House, ever.

When Hunter Biden is himself, he is an animal. He is a drug addict who isn’t curtailed by money or the law, like most all drug addicts are. He has lots of money from corrupt deals with some of the most violent people on earth and he is immune from the law due to being the son of Joe Biden. Hunter is one of the sickest people on this planet. We can say this because we have had a glimpse at the contents of his laptop.

According to Yaacov Apelbaum at The Illustrated Primer:
In intelligence analysis, a diary ranks supreme to most personal communications. It’s one of the best sources for primary material. A diary—in contrast to letters, emails, IMs, or phone calls, which always go through some form of refinements, filtering, and self-censorship—captures a person’s raw inner thoughts and feelings. Hunter wrote various such notes and recorded voice memos on a variety of topics and these are helpful in reconstructing his psychological profile and shedding some a light on Biden family dynamics. The topics he discussed range from his relationships with and opinions of his family (including his father, uncle, aunt, cousins, step mother, etc.), to sex, drugs, and money.

The picture that emerges from these composites is of a family that resemble a pack of ravenous wolves; cold blooded, calculated, and manipulative predators on an expedition of lies, abuse and binges of vice. If Caligula or Nero ever managed to get their hands on a time-machine and landed in the Biden household, they would have nodded in approval and felt right at home.
In one entry in his diary, Hunter shares this about his dead brother’s wife Hallie whom he was having an affair with while his brother was still alive:
… I believe from what I know that she (Hallie) was taken advantage of early in her life. I think the way she handled that experience that a 28 man subjected a 12 year old to is to take back her power and tell the story as a seduction on here part. She wasn’t t taken advantage of in her mind she was the seducer she was the little girl who had a special secret power over men. And it wasn’t wrong because it was exciting and it was dangerous and it was all hers and no one else had any access to that part of her because she loved being the opposite of you. She said nothing told no one and while you needed the attention she knew that yours was nothing compared to the attention she could draw out of any man she set her eyes on. Kermit would have never noticed Hallie if Hallie hadn’t wanted to prove to herself that she was more beautiful and desired than Jen Knox and Devon.
In another post Hunter talks about the size of his private part:
… she (Hallie) started to tear down my already fragile ego. “I only remember the big penises and the really small ones I cant tell the difference between all the average ones.” I know its easy to point out how trivial and typical stupid guy only thinks of his penis that is, but the sadistic part about Hallie is that (1). She knew how sensitive I was to that because when I was 14 and played varsity football but hadn’t reached puberty it was a horribly embarrassing time in my life that has stuck with me from this day and because of that (2). I loved to be reassured that my 9 inch very big penis was actually big. It may be funny to you but its body dysmorphia and the exact reason Hallie got breast implants. I know my penis is almost twice the size of an average mans penis I know that she knows that and I know she knows because I’ve now told her 100 times to stop implying that no matter how obviously wrong she is because no matter how beyond the little boy you have grown its harder to put out of your mind that the person says it not once not twice not 10 times but over and over. F***ing sadistic- and I really was going to not let my anger get the better of. But you (Hallie) f***ing sick mean f***.”
Apelbaum notes:
Analyzing Hunter’s network linkages and imagery shows that Hunter’s binges, in addition to cocaine, were fuelled by prescription drugs that he regularly obtained legally. These ‘legit’ sources kept him well provisioned and ready for action.
In one especially abusive sex scene involving a prostitute, she can seen taking an ampule and a syringe in preparation for injecting it into his butt. Shortly afterword he passes out.
So, if you are curious about how our political, social, and media aristocracy gets their Rx fixes, check out the sample composite below. Apparently, they don’t have to buy their stash from some sleazy drug dealer at filthy bridge underpass, instead, they get it called-in by a celebrity MD at the local pharmacy.
Hunter received prescriptions not from backstreet dwellers but from some of the most prestigious doctors in the county. At least one of these doctors was very close to Hillary Clinton. Hunter would simply reach out to them and his prescription was filled.

The Biden family is the family the media tried to project upon the Trumps. The Bidens however are everything the Trumps are not.

The Bidens are addicted, engaged is sick sexual encounters and involved in numerous deals with corrupt and criminal individuals around the globe.

Magazine Paints Hunter Biden as Struggling Artist Instead of DOJ Investigation Target and Meth Addict

By C. Douglas Golden, The Western Journal
Published January 10, 2021 at 9:47pm

I thought it was “Groundhog Day.” Only in this version, Punxsutawney Phil had a substance-abuse disorder, a nasty child support case with a former stripper, and a lost laptop that could make life hell for his high-profile father.

In early March — as I probably had better stuff to worry about — I was fixated by a ridiculous puff piece by The New York Times’ Adam Popescu about Robert Hunter Biden — the 50-year-old son of then-Democratic front-runner Joe Biden — who was starting a career as an artist.

There wasn’t a whole lot of talk about what the art looked like, because it looked a lot like this:
Painting “keeps me away from people and places where I shouldn’t be,” said Hunter Biden, well known for his foreign dealings and his battles with drug addiction There’s a New Artist in Town. The Name Is Biden.
— New York Times Arts (@nytimesarts) February 28, 2020
Hey, I had those backgrounds on my iPhone 4s, too!

Anyhow, the piece focused primarily on how Hunter Biden was trying to heal through art and how mean Republicans were continuing to ask for an investigation for his work for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma even though, according to The Times, “There has been no proof of any wrongdoing by Mr. Biden related to his business dealings in Ukraine.”

There also had been no serious investigation into it, but hey …

The piece hardly got into the seamier side of Biden’s life aside from the fact he was an addict — which, that’s terrible, but the fact he’d fathered a kid out of wedlock with an adult dancer and tried to avoid paying child support any way possible barely got discussed, as did any talk of his foreign dealings without saying there was no evidence to support looking into them.

Well, in the interim, Biden has been the target of a tax fraud investigation for those foreign dealings for some time and he’d also forgotten about a laptop with some pretty important information on it that was part of that investigation.

Vanity Fair’s Emily Kirkpatrick knew about this when she wrote a piece in December about his first solo art show!

Mind you, the piece was a composite of other pieces, particularly the first report by the New York Post. However, she was a bit easier on him than the Post is — and really, who isn’t? — writing that Biden “has not only a Department of Justice investigation into his taxes to contend with, but also his first solo art show to prepare for next year.”

“The president-elect’s son is reportedly in the midst of signing a deal to be represented as an artist by Georges Bergès Gallery in New York City with a solo exhibition in the works for next year,” she wrote, citing the Post report.

“The venture capitalist turned artist, whose studio is in the pool house of his Hollywood Hills home, creates his work with a metal straw he uses to blow alcohol ink onto Japanese Yupo paper, creating abstract layers of colors and concentric circles,” she noted.

She also used one of the most complimentary quotes from The New York Times’ piece, the one where he said his painting “puts my energy toward something positive,” adding that, “It keeps me away from people and places where I shouldn’t be.”

“The one thing I have left is my art. It’s the one thing they can’t take away from me or conflate with anything else,” he said.

Actually, they can take it away from you for a few years if you get convicted of tax fraud.

She mentioned the tax fraud investigation again and then conflated it with this: “He’s also already made one very influential opponent in the art world—Jerry Saltz.

The New York Magazine critic dubbed his work ‘Generic Post Zombie Formalism illustration’ and added, ‘The background doesn’t always have to be white, you big baby.”

Actually, Saltz was a bit nastier than that if you read the Artnet piece in which he offered his assessment of Hunter Biden’s art.

“Lose the big signature at once; forget the Kusama dots altogether; experiment with the surface and color and tools. Really consider the whole-page as a space and not make everything derivative all-over composition.

By “Kusama dots,” he’s talking about Yayoi Kusama, the Japanese abstract artist who combines a “that could have been done by my child” aesthetic with a “that could have been done for my child” one:

1610340750375.png

1610340699296.png

Scott Indrisek, former deputy editor of Artsy, was less kind.

“Hunter’s paintings have a kind of vaguely scientific, vaguely psychedelic vibe that reminds me of Fred Tomaselli — if Fred Tomaselli started making art for dermatologists’ waiting rooms,” he said.

Just so we’re on the same page:

1610340583671.png

“But then again, the process here seems more important than the finished product,” Indrisek continued. “I guess it’s important that wounded men of a certain age and privileged background have the opportunity to find themselves creatively … it’s just too bad that everyone else is expected to pay attention.”

Also, both Vanity Fair and the New York Post missed the best anecdote from Artnet’s coverage of Hunter Biden, this one from a Jan. 2, 2020, story that dealt with how he got his start in the art world (aside from having a rich father and a bankable name).

“For a period in 2018, Biden could be seen stopping by art openings and parties on the Lower East Side, and attended a runway show for the hip downtown fashion brand Lou Dallas,” they reported. “Sources said that many of his art-world connections came through his relationship with Zoe Kestan, the lingerie entrepreneur who is better known by her Instagram handle @weed_slut_420.”

That feels a bit like “Groundhog Day” too, if you ask me.

The Gateway Pundit was the first publication to interview Telizhenko on his meetings with DNC operative Alexandra Chalupa in the Obama White House back in 2016.
andrii-telizhenko-.jpg

In early 2016 Telizhenko was approached by DNC operative Alexandra Chalupa. She is still working at the DNC. She wanted dirt on Trump and his campaign manager Paul Manafort.

The Ukrainian embassy in Washington DC worked VERY CLOSELY with DNC operative and Hillary supporter Alexandra Chalupa.

Chalupa told Andrii she wanted Russian “dirt” on the Trump campaign.

Mueller had no intention in hearing Andrii’s story. It didn’t fit his narrative so dirty Robert Mueller and his team of Democrat lawyers skipped Andrii in their investigation.

It was a total scam.

Mueller and his angry Democrat lawyers were not interested in the truth.
They only wanted to destroy Trump.

Andrii spoke to us about his experiences with DNC operatives in the White House.
He believes he is safe as long as he speaks out.

Now it’s payback time.

Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., on Monday released the following statement in reaction to the Treasury Department imposing sanctions on Andriy Telizhenko. The US Treasury imposed sanctions on Telizhenko labeling him a Russian agent.

“The Treasury Department today identified additional foreign nationals involved in a larger conspiracy to influence the 2020 presidential election. The decision to impose sanctions on Andriy Telizhenko for his role in these efforts is welcome and long overdue. By imposing sanctions on Telizhenko, the Trump administration confirms that Senate Republicans’ year-long investigation was based on Russian disinformation. In fact, Chairmen Johnson and Grassley cited Mr. Telizhenko 42 times in the letters sent as part of this investigation, and ignored repeated warnings to not give credibility to disinformation. Chairman Johnson and his staff even met with Mr. Telizhenko for hours in person. The Senate was used to give credibility to foreign disinformation for the sole purpose of boosting Donald Trump’s campaign, and that can’t happen again.”
Andrii Telizhenko released this statement to The Gateway Pundit.
The US treasury sanctioned me yesterday stating that I am connected to Russia and that I organized a meeting with Derkach and Americans and Giuliani which is all a total lie.
I never worked or was and affiliated with Derkach or any of his people.
And especially did not introduce him to the Mayor.
If I was I would have never been used or questioned by the US Senate Senator Ron Johnson and Sen Grassley.
Also — the Deputy Secretary of State under oath in the Senate in summer 2020 said that Telizhenko is not a Russian asset or works with the Russian or anything else of that sort when Senator Peters assistant questioned him.

Telizhenko claims this is retaliation for his comments on Chalupa.
Of course, it is.

This is how the Marxists operate.

Schweizer: ‘It’s Going to Be Business as Usual’ for Hunter’s Dealings

IAN HANCHETT20 Jan 20219

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said he reads President Biden’s statements about his son Hunter’s deals as a declaration that “it’s going to be business as usual in the Biden administration as far as these deals are concerned.”

Schweizer said, “Joe Biden has said there are going to be no sketchy overseas deals during his second term. Here’s the problem: He does not believe that the early deals that Hunter was involved in, the China deal, Burisma, he’s never described those as sketchy. So, I read that as saying, it’s going to be business as usual in the Biden administration as far as these deals are concerned.”

Crackhead Hunter Biden Is Reportedly Advising Joe Biden on China — The Same Guy Who Got the Billion Dollar Infusion From the Chi-Coms

By Jim Hoft

Hunter Biden created his CFCE firm shortly after his father was sworn in as Barack Obama’s Vice President :
As the Obama-Biden administration hit the halfway point of its inaugural year, Hunter Biden co-founded Rosemont Seneca Partners, an investment fund, along with Christopher Heinz — the stepson of Obama’s future Secretary of State John Kerry — and Devon Archer, a former Kerry adviser.
Hunter then began doing deals with rogue regimes around the world. In 2015:
Hunter Biden’s relationship to Chinese tycoon Ye Jianming “began to ramp up,” according to a Senate report released in September. Ye, the founder of Chinese energy giant CEFC, served as the nation’s unofficial energy liaison to Russia.
Hunter’s relationship with the China billionaire who led the Chinese company CFCE in the energy business, Ye Jianming, blossomed. Hunter and Jim Biden, Joe Biden’s brother met in New York with Governor Cuomo and Ye in April 2017.

In June 2017 Hunter sent Ye a message:
Hunter Biden made an urgent request to Ye Jianming to wire him $10 million as seed money for a new venture, SinoHawk Holdings, according to an email obtained by The Post. In the missive he said he was extending “best wishes from the entire Biden family” and that “We are all hoping to see you here again soon, or in Shanghai.”
CEFC went bankrupt in March of 2020. We now know CFCE used a complex web of affiliated companies to facilitate fake deals, inflate trade figures and obtain bank loans to fuel its aggressive expansion. Recent reports show emails that tie Hunter Biden, Jim Biden and Joe Biden (the Big Guy) to payouts from CEFC before it went bankrupt. CFCE Chairman Ye disappeared in 2018 and has not been seen since.

We also know that Hunter Biden was concerned about going to jail, he sent an email to his accountant asking him in early 2017 how much money he would be making if he was in jail. Even Hunter knew he was involved in criminal activity.
Hunter has a drug addiction that has spanned the decades since he was 18. We also know Hunter Biden holds a lascivious appetite for group sex and prostitutes. Hunter posted it all on his laptop computer. Hunter is the last person you want close to an American president.

But today we hear word that Hunter Biden is advising his father on China — a country that gifted him with over a billion dollars in contracts.

Of course, Hunter is advising his senile father to go easy on China as they intimidate their neighbors.

'Lawyer up, and get out': FBI first spurned Hunter Biden laptop, says Delaware tech repairman

FBI "didn't show an interest in any of the money" after seizing Hunter Biden's laptop, according to John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer shop owner who reported it to authorities.

By John Solomon
Updated: January 26, 2021 - 8:49am

John Paul Mac Isaac, the Delaware computer shop owner who unwittingly came into possession of Hunter Biden's laptop, says an FBI agent initially gave a stern warning to his family when first offered a copy of the explosive evidence about Joe Biden's son: "You better lawyer up and get out of my office."

In a wide-ranging interview Monday with Just the News, Isaac described what concerned him most about the contents on the laptop, his extensive efforts to get authorities in law enforcement and Congress to pay attention to it and his anger at the news media, Democrats and even security officials who initially accused him of carrying out a Russian disinformation campaign or trying to make money off the discovery.

U.S. intelligence has determined the laptop contents — now in the hands of the FBI and Congress and part of a criminal tax case — were not Russian disinformation. Isaac said he never took a dime for providing the materials to the FBI, Congress and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, not even when offered reimbursement for the hard drive equipment he used to make copies.

"Well, for somebody who's not very political, I assume what happened to me was the quintessential political hit job, to have that many people come out, without even talking to me, or having a conversation without doing a single background check," he told the John Solomon Reports podcast.

"I still feel a little bit upset about that," he added. "I have people that I've known for a long time, they're convinced that I'm a tool, or I've been a pawn or I got huge payout. And it's completely decimated my business. I had to leave town."

Isaac said the efforts "tagging me to Russia" were insulting, given that his father and grandfathers served in the military dating to World War II. He said he believed the attacks were just an outgrowth of the false Russia collusion story used to vilify President Trump at the start of his presidency.

"I get why they [critics] did it," he said. "It's topical. Everybody's scared of Russia, Russia, Russia. And why not, you know, if it worked four or six years ago, try it again."

Isaac said one of his biggest disappointments was the FBI's behavior when his family offered the contents of the hard drive to agents.

Isaac said a man identifying himself as Hunter Biden dropped off the laptop and other water-damaged computer equipment in early spring 2019 and failed to pick it up, even after signing a document declaring it would become his shop's property in 90 days.

After the 90 days passed, Isaac said he examined the laptop contents and was troubled by what he found: explicit sex photos and evidence of large, suspicious foreign transactions involving the Biden family and Ukraine, China and Russia. He said he asked his father, an Air Force veteran, for advice in summer 2019, and his father went to the FBI in Albuquerque, N.M., in September 2019 with a copy of the laptop contents.

Isaac, who is visually impaired, said he had no doubts the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden after inspecting its contents.

"I have no doubt in my mind," he said. "Probably about within 30 minutes of performing the data transfer, I had been able to verify that the person that was in the shop was indeed the person that was on the computer and the owner of the computer."

Asked what prompted him to approach the FBI, Isaac said he was concerned by the emails and other records on the laptop showing complex financial transactions with foreigners, especially with Ukraine and the Burisma Holdings gas company that was in the impeachment headlines in summer and fall 2019.

"Obviously by that time during the summer, Ukraine was in the conversation," he explained. "So I had remembered seeing some things. And there was obviously the personal data. That was a concern, but also the Ukraine stuff, some of these players that were involved, and then the amount of money that was involved.

That started to throw up red flags, because people do horrible things over money."

He said he was stunned by the FBI's reaction to his father when first offered the laptop contents in September 2019.

"He had the copy of the drive as well as the copy of the signed authorization," Isaac said of his father. "So that if there was a legal question on how this was obtained, here's a document that proves it. And the FBI agent that he spoke to refused to give his name and then said you better lawyer up and get out of my office."

Isaac said a month or so later, an FBI agent from Delaware who specialized in child exploitation crimes approached him, eventually seizing the laptop with a grand jury subpoena. But even then, Isaac said, the FBI seemed disinterested in the laptop contents.

"They really didn't show an interest in any of the money," he said. "They were more interested in why I was afraid, and not necessarily what was on the on the drive."

"We sat down," Isaac continued, "and the first thing they asked me was if I had seen any child pornography, and you know, I'm not wanting to look at another man's porn. So I generally wasn't, it wasn't what I was looking for. When I sat down to look for stuff, I really focused in on Ukraine. What I casually saw when I was doing the data transfer, sure, there was porn."

"Then they asked why I was concerned," he added. "So they never brought up money laundering at all, which that seems kind of odd. But they wanted to hear my concerns. I explained to them that there's powers foreign and domestic that are involved. There's a lot of money involved. Somebody, someday is going to look for this."

Hunter Biden has long denied wrongdoing but recently acknowledged he has been informed by the U.S. attorney in Delaware that he is under criminal investigation for his "tax affairs." Federal officials have declined comment, except to acknowledge the probe began in 2018.

Isaac said he has since closed down his shop in Delaware and is now taking woodworking classes for a possible change in careers. Though he acknowledged coming from a conservative family, he said the reason he is speaking out now isn't politics, but rather to dispel the censorship, cancel culture and false allegations waged against him.

"If I can shine a light on the bias of the media and the bias of social media ... then that's great," he said. "I think that's gone on long enough. But mainly get the truth out."

Hunter Biden Continues To Hold Stake In Chinese Private Equity Firm, Records Show, Despite Reports That He Was Planning To Divest

Hunter Biden continues to hold a 10% stake in the Chinese private equity firm BHR Partners, Chinese business records show, despite multiple reports from December suggesting he was divesting his position in the company.

Both the Daily Mail and Fox News reported in late December that Hunter Biden was in the process of offloading his stake in BHR. Both outlets cited an unnamed source with Hunter Biden and his business dealings.

But Hunter Biden continues to hold his equity stake in BHR through his company, Skaneateles LLC, as of Wednesday, according to Qixinbao and Baidu, two independent services that provide business records on Chinese corporations based on China’s National Credit Information Publicity System.

Hunter Biden is the sole beneficial owner of Skaneateles LLC, according to Washington D.C. corporate records.

BHR manages the equivalent of $2.1 billion in assets and is co-owned by the Chinese state-controlled Bank of China.

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, George Mesires, did not return numerous requests for comment asking to confirm if his client is in the process of offloading his stake in BHR and when he expects that process to be completed.

Mesires said in an October 2019 statement that Hunter Biden had not received any return on his investment in BHR, but emails located on a copy of Hunter Biden’s alleged laptop show that he was told on multiple occasions by his business partner Eric Schwerin that he would begin receiving significant payments from the firm beginning in 2019, the Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported.

Schwerin also told Hunter Biden in a December 2018 email that he can expect the Chinese firm to generate income for him “over the next couple years.”

Mesires also said in the October 2019 statement that Hunter Biden would step down from his position on BHR’s board of directors, a move that President Joe Biden lauded as a representation of “the kind of man of integrity he is.”

BHR’s business records were updated six months later in April to reflect Hunter Biden’s departure from its board, the DCNF previously reported.

Joe Biden promised in no uncertain terms during his presidential campaign that no one in his family would engage in foreign business if he was elected president.

“No one in my family will have an office in the White House, will sit in on meetings as if they are a cabinet member, will, in fact, have any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country,” Joe Biden told reporters in Iowa. “Period. Period. End of story.”

Joe Biden reiterated his pledge in December 2019, telling Axios on HBO in reference to his family and former President Donald Trump’s foreign business dealings: “They will not be engaged in any foreign business because of what’s happened in this administration.”

Hunter Biden revealed in December that he was notified that federal prosecutors were investigating his “tax affairs.” Multiple news outlets have reported that investigators are looking into whether Hunter Biden violated money laundering laws in regards to his foreign business dealings in China and elsewhere.

A White House spokesman did not return a request for comment.
