DEPLORABLE ME
Both of us are off the list, we both are "recovered" from whatever we had. Maybe not covid because we didn't lose taste or smell...we both are very tired/ no energy. It's all I can do to feed, water, milk goats, and make dinner daily. Dinner was mostly Ramen soup for a few days, lol.

Just added myself to the list. I have had a cough and a very low grade fever for a couple of day. Since I was supposed to take care of my grandson for a couple of hours Monday my son suggested I should take one of the free tests that were given out. Sure enough it came out positive. I am on my way to pick up a couple of meds the doctor phoned in. Probably caught it on a trip I made a week ago.

Saying a prayer for you now. Hoping it is a mild case.

I changed my vote to zero. Mom’s off the oxygen and feeling great. I’ve been good & back to work since valentine’s day.
I’ve caught a cold now though, starting today. Runny nose, sneezing, scratchy throat, itchy eyes. No fever. Not tired or anything. (Covid was utter exhaustion, brain fog, headache and fever. That’s it, IIRC. The shortness of breath snuck up on me after about 10 days. This just feels like a mild cold so far. If it turns out to be Covid, I’ll let you know. Dh is gonna go get tests tomorrow.)
ETA: Covid test was negative. What I have now is a cold. Good but not good. lol.

I thought I had super special powers but it turns out, I don't. :) First day I felt a little nauseous. The next morning a little bit of a runny nose. Turned up positive. For those that need to know results, a sterile cotton tipped applicator purchased separately, can be used in place of whatever is included in the test. Started my meds. By the evening I felt like crap. Day 3, feeling sore, like a mild flu. Prayers appreciated.

I took my daughter to the doctor on Monday because she had a sore throat and trouble swallowing. Tested for strep and covid and was covid positive. She’s under quarantine for five days. This is round two for her. She’s actually feeling just fine. She had a low grade fever, sore throat, and fatigue. But she’s pretty chipper. She’s calling this an early spring break. I haven’t tested myself, but I’m 99.9% sure I have it now too. I’m run down and very congested. I’m taking my vitamins and DayQuil. I drank almost an entire quart of colloidal silver. I had covid in October and this is definitely not that bad. It’s pretty much like having a cold. And despite all the politicians coming out and saying that they only have cold like symptoms because they’re triple vaxxed, I’m not. The dr who treated my daughter said she expects everyone will eventually get this version of covid because it’s so contagious. But it can be treated with otc meds like you’d take for a cold. Then proceeded to tell me I should think about getting my daughter vaccinated when she’s feeling better. Vaccinated against a sore throat that was only bad for a day?!? She’s been in her room laughing with her friends online like absolutely nothing is wrong with her. She took one dose of DayQuil the first day, and hasn’t needed anything at all since. When we left the drs office, she said “Maybe I should get vaccinated.” I told her that there was no way she would get a vaccine that could have very dangerous side effects to protect her from a sore throat. I can’t believe we’re still dealing with this crap. I was bedridden for seven weeks with the last round of covid. So I know there are serious issues that can occur with Covid. But it seems to evolved into a mild cold.

Just remembered to update. My daughter felt bad for maybe a day and a half and then had to stay home and quarantine the rest of the week. If it weren’t for the positive test I would have sent her back to school. She returned on Monday. My symptoms were a runny and congested nose. It lasted a little longer, more like 5-6 days. But I’m fine now.

We don't have it here but our youngest son and his girlfriend live in Brooklyn, NY. They both have the new B2 or Omicron 2 virus. They both have had the original back in early 2020, then the Delta, then had all 3 shots by Pfizer and now Omicron 2. When is this crap going to stop? I have been trying to get him to come back to Michigan for a year now. She works for a music company with an office in Detroit and he was senior communications specialist at the Detroit Institute of Arts. They could both come her and have good jobs with good benefits.

My son just called to tell me he's tested positive for the second time. This time he used a store bought test strip. Last time he used a Walmart test, then went to a testing center for confirmation of positive. Not too sick last time or this. He can't go back to work till negative. Un vaxxed according to him.
