Has No Life - Lives on TB
Anyone in the Brooklyn area that could spare a few ivermictin pills or paste until the order arrives? My buddy is still in the hospital on O2. The pills I sent can't be found. My buddy's wife could pick them up and take them to hospital.

She just ordered the paste but it won't arrive until possibly Monday.

I told her to fill a travel size toothpaste or fill a chapstick and smuggle it in.

I figure three 6 mg pills a day for the first two days for a person around 160 lbs.

Any help is appreciated.

My buddy lives near Coney Island along the Shore Parkway.

He's 80 and a former licensed coast guard captain who ferried in people after 911..

Adding myself and my 10-year-old son. His doctor ran the covid test and it came back positive yesterday. Flu test and strep tests were negative. I haven't been tested myself, but I have the same symptoms. I am a stay-at-home mom so the only exposure I have had was through him. Both of us are unvaccinated. Symptoms are clogged nose where the sinus meets the throat, sore throat, fever, coughing. He has been sick with all the symptoms for 7 days so far and I am on day 3.

Adding my 15 year old son to the list. He just tested positive using a 15 minute home covid test. We tested him because he was scheduled to go on a church youth retreat this weekend (which he obviously won't now). He's feeling fine otherwise now after having had a fever/dry throat and stuffy nose yesterday. I may have had it last week (had stuffy nose and dry throat for a couple of days), but never tested and am feeling fine now. My wife now has similar symptoms as I had but is getting over it with still a bit of a cough. She is on the upswing and didn't test either.

Where I am supposed to be.
Twin daughters both have it now. In different states, SC and MD. Twin #1 tested positive yesterday, and her 2 daughters, ages 9 and 14, husband was sick last week but tested negative. Twin#2, tested positive 6 days ago, husband sick last week, tested negative, 2 boys sick just after New Years, did not test positive.

As previously written - tested as per protocol for non-vaxxed staff on Monday, was told I was positive on Tuesday. Mild cold symptoms started on Wednesday night - no fever, but cough and nasal drainage; Thursday, same, today, same. Dollar General OTC 'Tussin cold med mostly keeping the cough under control.

The one weird thing I noted was that my blood pressure has been low - low enough that I haven't taken my usual bp meds for the past two days. I haven't seen 120/70 without meds for years.

Wife and #2 son have it. Son got over it quick around 48hrs with just a fever. My wife is in the process of clearing it. She had a 102+ temp, sore throat and muscle pain. O2 went down to 86 last night for some reason, way too early for that. She was back to normal O2 in short order. Neither took any meds.

My SIL tested positive this morning. Was told he could return to work in five days. My DD and myself had it about a week or so ago. Fever, sore throat, and run of the mill cold symptoms. That only lasted a couple of days. We started taking all the supplements and vitamins my daughter's doctor told her to take. I never went and got tested because I was running the fever and had all the symptoms. I knew what it was.

Just added my niece, her husband, and their 3 yr. old little boy. Niece has a heart condition, and she's 7 months pregnant/ having problems with it. None of them have been vaxxed. Little boy spiked a fever of 103. Was taken to ER, and tested positive for Covid, but not the Flu. Now, all 3 have it.

I just got word the 20 IVM pills finally arrived. I got my buddy some hope at last. He's got several days worth until the paste and other pills arrive. I mailed them on the 12th first class. Never doing that again. Priority mail with tracking number from now on. He's been in Hospital since Monday the 10th. He's on O2 and Remdisivir.

My 16 year old grandson was tested yesterday and is positive - with cough and soreness, which has never gone away since he got vaxed then bacterial pneumonia for the second time.

He was due to play a top tier hockey tourney this weekend, but is in quarantine obviously. 5 kids on his team down, so it has been cancelled.

Other grandson not vaxed has never worn a mask or been sick, and played today (1 goal & 4 assists, says proud grandma)

My test came back negative yesterday thank the Lord.
I removed myself, and tentatively DH from the list.
He’s not been officially tested since his pneumonia recovery so I assume it’s out of his system, ....I pray continuously for that!

Prayers of healing for all on this and other illness thread!

What defines immediate family for this poll? I haven't been counting my relatives who have covid (the ones that do not live in my household) but it seems others are? Not criticizing, just trying to figure out what the parameters are for this poll.

Praying for your granddaughter and her family ,mawmaw. I'm so sorry to read your post. It's hard enough to take care of ourselves when we're sick but to have every member down with it, must be terrible. Praying it's the O and very mild.

I don't know at the moment to add my Wife's stepdad back to the list. He was feeling great and they decided to go for lunch at a local diner. He said he felt funny and then his eyes rolled back and he fell into the floor. Someone at the diner gave him CPR to medics got there. He is in the ER now awake and setting up Last news I got he was headed back for a scan..
I don't know if its CV related at this time ..

No one had it when I answered the poll. My daughter later tested positive and she and the three grand kids who live with her have it. Two went back to school and the oldest is home until Wednesday. My daughter had ivermectin and antibiotic. I don't know what she gave the grandkids.

Living On A Prayer
Daughter and son in law are finally back to work today, having recovered well enough to drive without fear of causing an accident.

Now.....as of yesterday morning, my sweet best girl/wife of 33 years has contracted it. Home test positive.

Fever, body aches, chills, headache.

We've spent the past nearly 2 years educating ourselves, and arming our immune systems as well as our stock of treatment and plans for what we considered the inevitable. And so it has come to pass.

We have exceptional framily guiding and offering tutelage, to which we are eternally grateful and adhering to.

She is absolutely miserable. We have made a pact to each other that under no circumstances will we go to the hospital here....i e. The Place To Go To Die.

IF Our Gracious Heavenly Father is to call us home, we will depart on our own terms, and from the arms of each other's mortal coil in our own home.

We are isolating, taking from the arsenal of meds and supplements we've parceled together, resting, and encouraging each other.

I am not down with this maleficent curse unleashed on humanity, nor do I have intent to. So far, so good anyway. I'm too busy taking care of my everything to be anything but her caretaker as she has been for me these past 7½ years.
