And the CDC is dumping the PCR test 12.31.21 because it's so inaccurate. We've got no good test for this.

Maybe someone has something better at a research level..but so far...what's available to the public ...they all have problems.

Do you know what test method the UK research programs are using? Maybe better testing is coming. Like you wrote...that's what we need!!

Read that Soros and Gates have teamed up to produce test kits that can be sold by Bezos. To take the place of the PCR...that sounds hopeful..... (Sarcasm)

Who would trust something from them? The test kit would probably result in depopulation.
ha ha ha
Zero have it, however I wear N-95 mask, face shield and nitrile gloves when I leave the house. And I avoid crowds and highly trafficked places whenever possible. I have not been jabbed, and neither has my wife (much to the dismay of her cancer doctor).
you wear gloves? But do you disinfect the gloves before you take them off so you don't get the germs on you? I used to wear gloves WAY back in the beginning. Then I realized they were be loaded with germs and it's easier to clean my hands rather than the gloves.
I can't wear a mask(I pass out if I do) and I don't wear gloves, yet hand shakes and hugs are done all the time. And I also go wherever and whenever I want. I've read that I can do this because of my blood type...O+. People with this blood type are about 95% sure of never getting it.
I have read that.
Lol, I'm darn sure not a doctor, nor do I have any kind of 'higher education' in that line. So all I can do is guess that they are in that 'left out' 5%. I'm also guessing it could go down to the difference between '0+' and '0-' blood types.

And another 'for sure' thing...I'm 'for sure' praying for them...and you...the best.

I am O neg. My son was too. Since he grew up in the last 30 years I have never seen him with a cold or flu even though he did drugs. I still get sick more than he did. I don't wanna answer the pole cuz this Prairie dog is afraid of jinxing herself.

I don’t know if any of you watch Patera at the Appalachian Homestead on YouTube, but she and her hubby got it and he had a tough time with it. One thing she said helped a ton was getting up and moving around, especially outside. If you start to feel the least little cough or wet congestion in your lungs, don’t sleep lying down. And be sure to stay active. The worst thing you can do with this virus is “rest in bed” all day. You’ve got to work the lungs to keep them clear.

My father, Old Gringo, passed away on Saturday the 13th. I was there to ask them to remove the vent and he went peacefully within a few minuets with me and my wife holding his hand the entire time.
I'm so sorry for your loss...

My son, his wife and two kids have it - maybe. Only the daughter was tested and came back positive. But all four of them have the taste and smell missing. DS has coughing that doesn't want to stop. DGD has stuffiness and trouble sleeping. DGS is tired and sleeps a lot. DDIL is ok, just can't smell or taste. DIL is taking care of all of them. They are quarantined, so no Thanksgiving. None of them took the clot shot. We keep in contact via text and phone. They are the only ones I know of who have anything like rona. We are all in northern Minnesota with Duluth the biggest city nearby.

My daughter, one who has battled and won over two types of cancer, has it for the 2nd time. Had it early on, drs told her to get the shots, which she did; now has it again.

Prayers for all...
Update on my daughter...I am so very thankful...her symptoms have been very mild this time around. She is up and about, working from home with her clients for this week.

Thank you all for your concern.

Well, the two of us might also have covid.
I picked up some "self-test" covid antigen tests from Walmart on Saturday when my husband first started feeling ill, but he tested negative. He took a second self test yesterday morning since he was feeling worse-- and it was positive.
So we are now waiting on the PCR test results for the both of us, which should come out today --the test was required by my husband's work in order for him to get "covid" pay. My husband is definitely sick-- coughing, fever, congestion, headache, tiredness, etc. but he says he's had worse. I was "slightly" sick on Sunday-- had a slight headache, and a general unwell feeling all day--- all of which is now gone.

Even so, we're dosing up on vitamins, IVM, and so on. The funny thing about his covid pay is that his employer declared that anyone "not" vaccinated by Dec 1 will lose their 2 weeks of paid covid time off whereas anyone who's vaccinated will still keep theirs. They supposedly decided to do this to push more people to get vaccinated, but it makes no sense at all.

I'll update this when we get our results.

Well...just changed the vote to "myself and one other"....

DW lost her sense of smell this AM...I just got home and she asked me to stick my nose in a bottle of essential oil...nothing...it was freaking peppermint...no wonder breakfast tasted like dog poo...I was away from home last night.

So, no "official" test, but our broken sniffers are probably more accurate than the test anyway.

Me:
53 years old.
Fully vaxed (J&J).
Daily: Zinc (30mg Thorne), Quercetin (1000mg Naturebell), Famotidine (10mg Pepcid), Multi vitamin, Resveritrol (Thorne), NAC, (500mg Thorne), Omega 3's (Vital Choice), Elderberry syrup (Seattle Elderberry), Magtein (667mg Source Naturals). And since the no smell thing, I just took 24mg of IM and will follow FLCC guidelines to the T.

Symptoms:
mild cold, snot, annoying intermittent cough, some fatigue.

Mrs.
53 years old
No vax
Daily: nothing

Symptoms:
Sick as hell, barfing, horrific nasty hacking cough.

In summation, I'm "a little sick"....Mrs is significantly more ill than I am...as soon as her barfing settles down (barfing due to a lovely little migrane) we will dose her properly with IM as well and hopefully she will be on the mend. She gets much worse and I'll pull a monitor off of an anesthesia machine and watch her pulse ox.

This is our current experience. Obviously we have no way to "know" why my sickness is so much milder than hers...did the vax help? My daily supplements? Or...am I just lucky? No way to know, but so far, this is no big deal to me...but may quickly turn into a big deal for Mrs....

“edit” DW was able to keep 24mg of IVM down a couple hours ago. 4 mo old grandson perked her up…I don’t know where she found the energy after the migraine (that’s been ongoing since Sunday pm) but she helped bathe baby and rocked him to sleep then she got too tired and went to bed.

I'm so very sorry to read about your father. I've been praying for him. I'm glad he passed peacefully with you close by. I'll continue to pray for you and your wife as you go through this terrible time.

Saying prayers for you both. Tell you wife she's being thought of. Migraines are miserable in and of themselves. I know exactly what she's going through there, but to have all the rest of the covid symptoms on top of that I really feel for her. Praying her symptoms quickly dissipate and that she'll be turning the corner to recovery very soon. Warm hugs.

Hope you guys recover quickly! You don't say anything about vitamin D. You folks taking that? You are likely taking it, though. Your regimen looks solid. I can't imagine you are skipping D. I just read an article that said you want that level at 60 or above on D. They have found people, with covid, being hospitalized have D levels below 60.

Apologies, yes, we are both taking D, 5000iu per day. I forget where our blood tests came in last year, but D levels were in the range Dr. Rhonda Patrick recommends, so no worries there.

Update today, I feel pretty good, am working in the office (I run the company, we all work remote, at hospitals, I'm the only one here, which is normal when I'm not in the field). Wife is running calls (she works as a scheduler for a local phone company and is working from home), but when I checked on her a little while ago she said "I just want to die"..lol...ok, she's definitely not feeling great, but, not terrible coughing, O2 sats were 97 last time I checked so, she's ok at present.

Thanks to those who are keeping us in your thoughts/prayers, MUCH appreciated, very kind of you.

Test results came back and I'm negative. My husband is positive and sick but the fever is mostly over; just the cough, congestion, and tiredness remains. He's feeling somewhat better and is even thinking about doing some "fixing" up around the house. He has to quarantine for 10 days and I have to for 21 days.

So glad you are feeling better!!! You have a good protocol down. I imagine that is what is helping you.

Am I understanding this correctly? Maybe I misunderstood. Did you say your covid sick wife was taking care of a baby? I read it twice, but may have misunderstood. Sorry if I did.
