www.herbalhealer.com

herbal healer academy.

just want to check before placing orders with them.

or alternately, anyone have other recommended sites for herbal meds?

(note, if you are employed by such a site, please state up front so we know your affiliations).

I second the recommendation...I've been ordering from them for 10 or 12 years now. Can't remember exactly, but it was in the pre-internet days. Never a single problem.

Hope

Ok...so you don't need a 4th opinion...but I'd like to verify that she is remarkable naturopath & herbalist...and her products are wonderful. You can email her questions on Wednesdays. I am taking her correspondent classes, but have no other affiliation.

HHA correspondance Class

Lindy,

already placed my order but your opinion is also welcome.

I saw a little blurb on her site for the HHA courses.

Appreciate it if you can chime in on what you are learning and if they are worthwhile classes. Lots of correspondance "training" nowdays are just diploma mills.

Thanks.

10kster...I am taking the herbology & reflexology. Move at your own pace. Love my herbology...You are sent the herbs & things for your projects along with the text. You have to send in reports and lots of required reading & book reports. I've made teas, linaments, lotions. massage oil, fomentation, tonics, pills, tablets,etc..and more lessons to go. Very in depth course, not a paper mill. And fun to move at your own pace....and with the invite to share: If you make your own herbal pills you will know the quality and potency of what you are taking. You can order empty capsules in different sizes & order bulk ground herb of your choice and manually fill (guess there is some kind of machine? that does more like 50 at a time). I am filling some elderberry right now. Oh and I also just ordered a bunch of alfalfa seeds for sprouting thinking this is an excellent prep item (even for your BOB). Alfalfa is up to 30%protein & excellent source of vitaminsK&P, chlorophyll, carotene, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese, phosphorus, sodium, sulfur, silicon, chlorine, cobalt, zinc. It is almost as good as seaweed as a mineral source (root system penetrates t0 100 ft in ground & pulls trace minerals). Alfalfa controls bleeding, lowers choesterol, diuretic ammong other things. So, don't you think alfalfa seeds for sprouting sounds like a light weight prep item?

i like herbal healer, and have ordered form them several times and have always been pleased. just recently started the herbal course, & am on lesson #4. im quiet happy with it so far.

they send this big bag with herb samples to use in each lesson and it is intoxicating! i hated to follow the directions and use the tea samples, i wanted to stick them under my pillow!
