CORONA Help please - University mandating daughter to be vaccinated or will not be able to finish studies

The Universities in Alberta (Canada) have mandated that students and staff be fully vaccinated ( 2 shots) by Jan 1 or they will not be able to return to campus. I am at my wits end as my daughter needs to be on campus for one more semester to finish her PhD.
No vaccination = no degree.
No matter what I say she is capitulating to the blackmail. She is planning to get vaccinated this Friday.
Any Albertans have any advice?

I have no idea what to tell you about her education or degree.

But there are thousands of videos showing vaccine's and damage to people and kids right after the vaccine. especially in Australia. Where they have been giving kids shots for awhile now.

She could check with the foreign students, and see what the costs are for the paperwork from another country,

Unfortunately, she's in Canada... unlikely they'll accept a religious exemption (if that could apply). She's basically got two choices... take the vax, or be ABD and go one with her life.

Dunno about taking a sabbatical, hoping this will blow over, but might be worth looking into.

yep it's unfortunate that we are in a country without guns that our "elected" keepers are rushing us at breakneck speed towards complete Marxism.
Sabbaticals or delaying 'till things blow over, don't work if you have research you need to publish before someone else beats you to it and undermines your ability to publish. Publishing new stuff is a requirement to graduate from research based PhDs.

no she needs to publish her findings before she's scooped. She just needed this semester (Jan to June) to finish. Universities have mandated be FULLY vaccinated on Jan 1 or do not come back. They have removed the option of providing negative rapid tests and are playing lip service to "exemptions" - they are asking for proof of religious exemption

Thank you. I've looked into it, but like everything on the web there's a myriad of "solutions" but nothing decisive and everything leaves one with only questions. So for pine needle tea - how concentrated does it have to be? What kind of pine tree is best?

Obviously she's an intelligent young woman. Whatever she decides, support her. My daughter had one jab. I made her take Vitamin D, NAC, liposomal Vitamin C, liposomal glutathione, and zinc two weeks before and after before lowering doses back to normal supplements.

Helen, had quite a regimen when she took her jab. Maybe review that. Of course, your dd may not want to take any vitamins.

Prayers going up for a good outcome. Pretty much kids make up their own minds by the time they hit 15. All 3 of my dear daughters took the jab, the right thing to do, you know. I'm fearful for them. I know how you feel.

My soon to be son in law is a PhD student at Duke. He capitulated because he wanted to finish his degree. It is some gawd awful microsizing medical engineering degree. But he is more into building than research so he had to be on camps as well. Sigh. He does have a line in the sand because he is really mad about having to do what he did to complete one of his life's dreams. He will not get a booster. I pray that he can graduate this spring as planned and not be faced with that choice.

I'll be honest. I'm not sure that I believe that everyone that gets the vaxx is going to die some horrible death. I am concerned that it will affect them in some way but I've basically had to put it is God's hands. They are adults. We cannot make the decision for him. My parents and one of our daughters got vaxx'd. I walk in your shoes. At some point, when it is completely out of our hands, all we can do is try and have faith and trust in God. I don't say that as an excuse but to say I'm walking in your shoes and I pray that you will be comforted.

I know exactly what you're going through! Our son just graduated as a marine engineer/ naval architect. He landed a really good job as DoD civilian working for the NAVY. Just after he accepted the position they sent out word that everyone had to be vaccinated by 8 November. He didn't want to do it and tried to hold out as long as possible but like your daughter, he didn't want all those years of study to go to waste. Most of the job openings in his field were for companies working with DoD in some way. And at 26, who wants to remain cooped up in their childhood bedroom? He wanted to get out on his own and start making his own way in the world.

He decided to take the J&J shot just to have it over and done with. He also thought it was the weakest and lesser of the three evils. He got the vax while he was still here at home in case he had a bad reaction. He did have a rough couple of days with fever and body aches (guess he didn't get the saline ) It passed and so far he's doing well. He was already taking high doses of vitamin C, D and zinc. He did increase the Vit D a little.

I've been an absolute wreck. It's bad enough just having your only child suddenly up and gone, but the added worry of this bulI shit actually sent me into full blown panic attacks! Hubby has had to take me out for rides in the truck like a darned invalid. It's been horrible. Lost about 8 lbs in a couple of weeks. I'm finally coming back to normal and able to eat a little. I marked the calendar for the eighth week after the vaccine as I've heard that that is when some of the adverse effects manifest themselves. He's 900 miles away so I'm hoping that either hubby or myself can go down there to "visit" for a week or so. Haven't told him why we're choosing that particular week. I just feel that one of us needs to be there to advocate for him should he suddenly go down hill and need to be hospitalized. Putting people in this horrendous situation is absolutely criminal. I'm spitting nails I'm so POed!

My husband saw his doc yesterday. He's dead set against the vax and told hubby he's seeing a lot of injuries from it. Plus about 50% of the patients he's seeing with covid are fully vaxxed. He himself was able to get a religious exemption but is forced to get the brain scape test weekly! ( not the quick test. Guess it's a punishment)

I'll be praying for your daughter and you! Such an infuriating situation to be faced with.
