Quite true - they can "play" the situation, together, for their mutual personal benefit - if food is involved. How do you know it wasn't Annie who was the pizza thief? Or a partner in crime? Mine were a tag team and worked together quite a lot. Had to be on my toes to outsmart the little buggers.
Funny but not funny. Sorry you are feeling under the weather. I lost my breakfast on morning last week to the Shitzsu shark in my life. I just got a new pain prescription I will share in another thread so not to hijack this one.Hairy has always respected my boundaries. He knows that if I put something on the end table, it’s mine. When I got home today, after I let them out I warmed up a slice of pizza, and put it on a small plate on the end table. I then went into my bedroom to make my bed in preparation for bed time this evening. (I’m feeling poorly today and wanted to go to bed early tonight.) So I made the bed and took my Vicodin. Came back out and the plate was bare. Not so much as a crumb remained. He looked at me all innocent. I smacked him on his butt and said sternly, “BAD DOG!” He looked back at me like “it was worth it.”
Dog is an ass.
In all the years that I did Beadwork and the occasional leather piece, the kids (even when they were wee little babies) never turned over a saucer of beads. Tails would wag furiously in other areas of the house, yard, car- but in my studio, no. And never a curious nose slid a saucer off the table.I could leave a box of KFC on the front seat of my pickup fill it up at the gas station then go in and pay for the gas and Wally wouldn't touch it. Since I do primitive crafts using rawhide, buckskin and furs Wally never chewed any of them in fact he taught his puppies not to chew rawhide. He would beat them up and take it away from them. They learned not to chew the rawhide unless I gave the scraps to them.
And shrooms. Tonight Lali had pizza. She's turning into a respectable little pot licker. Kibble is highly overrated. May the dueling canine duo (Hairy & possibly Annie) be lucky again!Saved you from having to wash the plate......
Hairy was supplementing his diet. Vitamins, minerals, pepperoni....
I'll second seekers advice start drinking cranberry juice see if there's any changeNot really. I’ve had lower abdominal/bladder area pain for three days. It did ease by this afternoon finally.
