Found itty bitty Gypsy moth starting to climb fruit trees. Would gray tape with sticky side out work? Cheap ideas would be helpful folks! You know outside the box?

Yep... we just wrapped our trees with inside out duct tape...

But we also sprayed with bT.... we had a horrific infestation last year (we hand picked over 7 GALLONS of caterpillars from 35 fruit trees!) and we're trying to get ahead of the damage this year..

When I was a kid we had a major gypsy moth problem and it was fixed by using manmade chemical that replicates the Female moths reproductive smell and they put in a modified one pint milk container and used it as a trap for the Male gyspy month and it worked it wiped out the moth in many areas in one to two years.

Bacillus thurengiensis... yep, organic. It only kills larvae of butterflies and moths, nothing else. I've gotta run and give a riding lesson... will answer any other questions later..
