A few ideas...

What does this mean?

(a) GWB needs more security
(b) GWB shouldn't try to walk among the people or try shaking hands
(c) Residents of DC aren't rich enough to be Republican yet (and move to VA)
(d) time for GWB to punish all the sinners and heathens in DC
(e) all races, ages, income brackets, genders in his backyard hate him
(f) time to send the administrative, housekeeping, clerical, and other staff to Iraq, and import some Texans who would appreciate working for his Highness
(g) GWB needs more security, dobermans patrolling the WH lawn, razor wire, etc.

You might have missed the demographics on voters from DC - they span all ethnicities (white folks, too), and all incomes (even some folks doing over $200K). I guess they should be cut off the dole, right.

Ya....and DC was one of the only places that voted for McGovern if I recall correctly.

I have travelled to that city many times to try to piss on the granite wall of federal polly ticks and try and wear it down. Shoulda just stayed home. The hotels suck (service is nill and you can't even find a frigging ice machine that works) and I hate them. There is no place on earth with lousier service and the workers are for the most part lazy jerks that could not survive in the REAL WORLD.

The resturaunts are way overpriced and the food sucks unless you want to pay $250 for a decent meal. The whole place is a sewer with little ratty kids riding their skate boards all over the nice monuments. Not to mention all the bums on the street begging all the time. Nuke it.....it is a sewer.

Where do people get the idea that all Republicans are rich fat cats, anyway? Listening to too much Democratic propoganda? A LOT of people register Republican because of the moral values in the party platform, and the total lack of them in the Democratic one. I've never been anything approaching rich in my entire live, often living on an income that is technically below the poverty line, but no way would I vote for a Democrat unless they get some morals.
