RACE Google's interpretation of MLK's "dream"

Got to work this morning (no, we don't do MLK day) and was signing in to my computer.

At first went flying past Google's homepage as I was signing in to our work sites--then did a double-take and went back.

Look at the picture below--Google's pic for MLK day.

Note who is in the front of the bus (exclusively) and who is in the back of the bus (exclusively).

Makes it clear openly---"equality" is NOT what they want.

Aren't the two females in the center blocking the aisle?

That is an unsafe condition. Jackie Gleason would stop the bus and put them off.

Are you sure they're females? The one in the green looks like a dude... :D

Are you sure we're looking at the bus from front to back? Those windows look like the side of the bus from here.

I'm all in favor of demonizing Google but sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, you know?

Great find, CM. Very interesting.

Note the clothing. This is a subliminal message for sure. When do we ever see blacks dressing in upscale 1940s attire?

Our “friends” at Google appear to be suggesting something indeed. Not equality.
Perhaps a rewrite or a complete reversal of history?

Here is what I’d expect to see as more realistic:

My first impression was a laundromat.

Pride comes before the fall.....Pride month ended.
They are also in the shadows.........another subliminal message.

DD just called from school and was wondering why I wasn't working at the post office this morning, and then remembered that it's MLK Day. And then she shared what her best friend told her this morning.

He likes this day better than Presidents' Day because MLK Day is chocolate milk day. She couldn't stop giggling about it.

Like I said on the "I Have a Dream" thread--

the kindest thing we can do for black folks today is publish as far and wide as possible any recordings we can find about LBJ and what he said, from his own filthy mouth, about black people, and why he was enslaving them with his "Great Society" program (designed to destroy the black family).
