CORONA Get free at-home COVID-19 tests

So my wife just tried to get a home test kit from the local pharmacy and they said those would no longer be available to the public only through the government. Is that true?
No, because the White House announced that as of January 15 private insurance has to pay for up to 8 home tests per person per month. Up to $12 each. Of course, they will therefore probably become scarce.

No better way to spread whatever they want but by giving it away for 'free'.

I ordered my 4. Order as many as you can whether you need them or not, remember, do your best to stress the system to the utmost.

If these are nose swabs....would you really stick that in your head? If you would, just keep shoving it in until you black out as your not using that organ anyway.

Also saw a report, somewhere it is written that they aren't shipping to apartments.

Some on here may verify that.
They are shipping to apartments. The problem is the apartment building is seen as one address, so the first to order that order will go through. The second, third, etc to order will be told that their address has already ordered their allocated four.

In all their wisdom, lol, the government has many multi-tenant buildings listed as a single residence. My granddaughter had to deal with this. As many may recall, Hurricane Irma came through Florida in 2017. I lived in Key West, so escaped any damage at all (except for magic the power outage worked in my freezer). My grandkids all live up here in Lakeland, which I have since moved to. Lakeland lost power and the kids lost their refrigerated food. My granddaughter, who lived in a duplex at the time, promptly applied to FEMA for whatever they were offering. The drunken slut next door took her time applying and found out her address had already been applied for and given, so, of course, she accused my granddaughter of stealing her benefits. But it was the way the gov had it set up. My granddaughter tried to tel[ her and get the situation rectified, but the neighbor was so unpleasant that my GD finally said just forget about it. I also remember people living in some of the large older homes in Key West that had been converted to condos or apartments having the same problem. Way to go, gov.

I’m figuring I’ll use it as a reason to get some IVM. “If we get a positive, what will we do? Our doctor won’t do anything, the hospital won’t do anything except tell us to go home and come back for rundeathisnear and a tube down your throat”. She only listens to MSM and has no clue as to VAERS and the other shit we know all about.

To prime your nostrils for the long stick containing the cotton swab, carefully
remove all boogers which might present a barrier for insertion of the swabbing
device supplied inside your free rapid test COVID antigen kit. However, If you do
encounter severe blockage, please ask an adult to help with extraction by using
heavy-duty forceps with curved titanium tips. Just kidding. Blow your nose, stupid.

I ordered my 4-pak, if I need to use then I'll just blow my nose then test what's on the tissue. I won't be putting anything they give me up my nose.
I’m not 1000% positive but I think the whole purpose of the nasal swab test, which involves gently scraping the interior surface OF the nose on the swab, is not just for obtaining a sample of the nasal drainage...ie, the stuff you blow out. The test needs cells from the nasal cavity , too.
Can anyone here medical, correct me or verify?

Otherwise blowing your nose for sample collection sounds like a good idea if one is worried about what’s in the swab.

Not doing it, if snot ain't good enough then in the garbage it goes.

Someone tested these home kits. They found they had a 40% false positive rate. The whole point of pushing these is to keep the mandates going. People are so gullible.
I would never report test results to anyone especially some gov agency.

You don’t have to tell them, the tests results are for your own knowledge.
But yeah, I “get it”.

I’ve not ordered them myself yet, either.

I am old, cantankerous and unvaxed. Why do I need a test kit? If I get symptoms/sick I'll use Ivermectin. If it gets so bad I have to go to the hospital, they'll do the test for me.

No need. If asymptomatic, stay the course. If symptomatic treat the symptoms. Plenty of information on this site on symptom management.
