He may have got tired of waiting 10 hours (emergency room) to get the stiches - been to a doc office lately - I wait max 30 minutes and then leave (just a scheduled visit - not for stiches)

Believe it or not, nowadays if I tell people I have no tattoos, it's like I'm the freak.
I've got plenty of permanent markings and piercings, they all involved blood loss and pain.
Why would I get more voluntarily?

Lol, tell her it's not a 'fear of commitment', because if it were, you'd already have a tattoo. You have no 'fear of commitment' because you are committed to not getting tattoos.

22 years in the navy and not one tattoo. Never saw anything I wanted to wear forever and I saw a lot of tattoo's on other sailors that just turned to mush over time. Plus I used to remove tattoos on sailors and Marines the old fashioned way: 4x4 gauze, milk & salt. Dip the gauze in the milk and then in the salt and rub lightly until the skin just starts to weep. Clean the abrasion, dress the area and repeat in a week or two and continue until all the ink is drawn out. BTW......guys....the only girls name you should put on your body is your mother or daughters....NEVER A GIRL FRIEND!! AND....in this day and age not even a wife's.
