Egads! Nobody does it like Sara Lee!

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT defrost a Sara Lee pie prior to baking! I meant to cook a frozen pumpkin pie, ran out of time to do so, and put it in the fridge overnight. It seems to have semi self destructed prior to baking (i.e. runny pumpkin stuff all over the box and some in the fridge) This box WAS NOT turned upside down, etc., after defrosting. Took what was intact and am baking it now! Will let you know the results.

How odd that the filling would be more after defrosting. How did the pie turn out? I haven't bought a ready made pie in long time but the older I get, the better ready made sounds.
