EBOLA Ebola Threads

Is there any way we can have a sub-fourm just for the ebola threads? There are so many separate ebola threads started it makes it difficult to keep track of them all. Or maybe can we just stick to one thread for all of the ebola stuff. When I find ebola info there are way too many threads to select which thread to put it on or if it has already been posted, very confusing so i wind up not posting it.

Ebola Thread Rules:

1. If it is specific to a CITY/STATE here in the US...it should have a thread of its own, as in DALLAS, FRISCO, NY, LA that are currently in progress. ALL discussion specific to THAT subject/location should be on THAT thread.

2. Let's try keeping stories from outside the US with CONFIRMED cases on a COUNTRY thread, like the Madrid, SPAIN thread. If other locations in SPAIN pop up with Ebola let's keep it on the existing SPAIN thread. I will rename them more generically *IF* (when) we get multiple cities in other countries.

3. For WEST AFRICA and GENERAL Ebola discussion (and MOST unconfirmed reports) let's keep that on the MAIN EBOLA thread since that is where we started (West Africa) and where the general Ebola info has been being posted fairly reliably. If a report goes "confirmed", it is not difficult for us to then "move" those related posts to their own CITY/STATE or COUNTRY thread.

It only has gotten really out of control in the last 18 to 24 hours with all of the new stuff going on.

I agree that sub-forums can be difficult on phones and some other mobile devices so let's try to avoid that as long as possible.

Wait until India announces their 1st confirmed case... I have a feeling the Japanese tourist just might be the one; samples sent to the lab on the 6th/7th (their time) and not a peep of info on it since then.

I hope I am wrong.

Can you imagine how fast it would spread?

It would spread like wildfire there.

Yes/No. THEY don't engage in (effectively) mating with their dead like the African culture does.
It WOULD spread fairly rapidly given what we currently SURMISE about transmission modalities.

Subforum is a great idea.

Honestly... I do not even try the main ebola thread.... too much of all different kinds of info. Unless you spend your day just reading here... nope.

I go into the threads that tweak my interest.... I just can't do 30 pages.
