EBOLA Ebola Panic to Come that CDC is trying to repress...

Has No Life - Lives on TB
IMO, CDC is trying to repress facts about Ebola transmission that could potentially shut down the economy and unleash widespread panic.

Not releasing it keeps things calmer for a little bit longer, but allows for more to inadvertently put themselves at risk of infection and death.

I'm talking about Ebola surface contamination, potentially for weeks, of anything Ebola infected person touched, coughed or sneezed upon
before you, and other unsuspecting people, unwittingly came upon it, touched it and then risked contracting Ebola.

From www.ebolaready.com ...

Despite public pronouncements by the CDC, WHO and other public health personalities that the Ebola virus does not survive beyond a few hours on contaminated surfaces, published research in respected, peer reviewed scientific journals show that "viable" Ebola virus can in fact survive for multiple days on surfaces outside the body.

In 2010 research published in the Journal of Applied Microbiology demonstrated that two different strains of Ebola, including Ebola-Zaire which is at the heart of the current W. Africa outbreak, is able to survive for extended periods of time at low temperatures on plastic and glass surfaces as well as in liquids. [Citation 8]

"Our study has shown that Lake Victoria marburgvirus (MARV) and Zaire ebolavirus (ZEBOV) can survive for long periods in different liquid media and can also be recovered from plastic and glass surfaces at low temperatures for over 3 weeks. The decay rates of ZEBOV and Reston ebolavirus (REBOV) plus MARV within a dynamic aerosol were calculated. ZEBOV and MARV had similar decay rates, whilst REBOV showed significantly better survival within an aerosol."

_______________

What are the ramifications then of anything in the public domain that might have been contaminated hours, days or weeks earlier, unbeknownst
to you when you later handle them, such as money, door knobs, ATM machines, public transportation, food, shopping cart, mail, etc.? For some
of these things, protective gloves would suffice, for some, though, to then bring into your home, they'd need to be decontaminated. Including
the soles of your shoes that have picked up who knows what from where, before you then risk tracking it inside your home.

I'm guessing CDC hopes to contain this current outbreak and have it get off the news before the above is exposed. Unfortunately, if they are
unsuccessful, it'll be in part, likely the largest part, because they did not get the word out about the above surface contamination risk in-time.

There are many factors about Ebola that are worthy enough to incite panic. However, it is ACCURATE truthful timely information that will prevent panic and save lives.

I believe it'll get here, mostly because one third of the population in my small rural city is of the international variety, I just don't believe there's a hell of a lot I can do about it at this point in time other than staying home.

We still don't have proof that seven thieves, colloidal silver, etc., will kill the bug let alone stop it so until someone comes up with a proven home remedy, well I'm staying home!

It's nothing short of criminal negligence how they are handling this. Each day that goes by that they don't properly inform the public is another day the population is in greater danger.

This has everything to do with the markets and political perceptions. The markets are OVER DUE for a major adjustment and they know it's coming so they are trying to squeeze every nickle out of it before the cat is out of the bag, before they are forced to acknowledge and inform. They are playing dice with the lives of millions.

Watergate proved the coverup is always worse than the original problem. The CDC has now backed itself into a corner where they will be openly shown to have LIED to the American people. Once the American people figure that out, which is what is now starting to happen, the CDC, WHO and the politicians will lose all moral authority and be ignored. The CDC disinformation will have the ultimate effect of INCREASING the level of panic. It is like a pressure cooker on a stove. The more you tighten the lid the more explosive will the release. The CDC is failing to realize the pent up demand for timely, accurate information will overwhelm them in the end.

The information will eventually come out despite the CDC lies and disinformation. Once it does, the CDC et al will lose ALL credibility precisely at the moment they need it most.

Ebola is a matter of life and death. Ebola is a potential lethal threat to the American people. And when they figure out the powers that be lied to them about it, they will react just like the people after the Black Death in 1348 did. It was the cowardice of the feudal leaders, the Roman Catholic elite, not the local priests or monks who actually took care of people and died from it, that destroyed the moral authority of the leadership. This directly led to Martin Luther's Reformation and the intellectual enlightenment a few decades later. The collapse of moral authority for the USA political and media elites will happen faster than then. It will have stripped the basis of the social contract between the American people and their leaders.

I am saying yet again, one of the primary impacts of an Ebola epidemic in the USA will be to discredit the current power structure and render them unable to control the American people who will despise them for allowing Ebola to kill Americans.

If there is one thing I have learned over the years and years of being on tb2k, its the media cares MORE about the panic and less about the problem.

Chances are they are more worried about people panicking than Ebola spreading nationwide. They will do or any anything to calm people down and put them back to sleep. I cant tell you how many nasty replies I have seen on news stories in the last day chastising people for being worried about it, usually a comment like 'Don't touch their vomit or blood and you will have nothing to worry about"

If this hits and hits hard, I suspect a lot of sheeple will awaken and realize they have been lied to.

The entire situation with ebola in this country is absolutely insane.

As a wilderness emergency medical technician, I watch the ongoing

will be before there is a mass epidemic in this country.

All of the training that I have received over the years regarding infectious

Always use the highest level of personal protection that is available.
Just common sense.

There is no doubt, that this virus is airborne, always has been airborne,
and that it has a much longer life outside of a host.

Just a matter of time before there are vast numbers of people infected.

The government will try to cover it up of course.

Quaternary disinfectants remain the go-to agents for hospitals. For those of us who may have limited budgets strong bleach solution is your best bet. That does NOT mean bleach that has been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years.

The simple truth that everyone is overlooking is that they are far less likely to even see Ebola in their town than they are themselves to catch a serious flu strain. I took care of at least 2 confirmed cases of H1N1 infection earlier this year, and it wasn't the CDC that was trying to suppress knowledge of them but rather the hospital administration that didn't want any increased care costs such as would have resulted by confirming the cases and acting appropriately. They bitched because the docs ordered H1N1 testing and staff carried through with it. BTW, this was in a town of approximately 5,000 people, and the cases were all locals. The truth behind the Ebola virus (or not)

Tuesday, Oct 7, 2014 at 6:13 AM +1100

What is the history of Ebola? Well, if you were to listen to some of the experts you may be hearing some of the below:
Get Glenn Live! On TheBlaze TV

Related: Don’t miss the debut of Glenn’s hit new ‘Ebola Free’ song

From the segment:

The truth behind the Ebola virus.

The Ebola virus is a minor sickness that was first discovered on the continent of Africa. You may have heard rumors that Ebola may lead to bleeding from your eyes, the melting your of your internal organs, and/or unavoidable death preceded by weeks of excruciating pain. This couldn’t be more untrue.
Many anonymous US scientists have compared its severity to such ailments as irritated throat, minor acne, poison ivy, or the common cold. Besides, there is absolutely no chance of Ebola ever leaving the African continent except, of course, the totally confined cases in Canada, but not to worry the Canadian government has closed the infected cities due to a completely unrelated problems, perhaps the emission standards of their automobiles.

Wow, it sure looks cold out in Hamilton, Canada, today. Little Joey must be freezing. He’s just in his underwear and T-shirt outside in the snow. Wait a minute. Is Joey sweating? He sure is. Because of one of the unsung benefits of the Ebola virus. Yes, the wildly powerful fever keeps Joey warm all winter long or for at least 7 to 14 more days.

Say hello to Mary, she has the Ebola virus and loves it. Why? Well, have you heard motivational speakers talk about living every day as the last of your life? The Ebola virus allows Mary to practice this.

Look here. It’s Paula, who is lucky enough to have the Ebola virus and live inside this fancy plastic bubble. What’s that, you say? It seems that Paula is trying to write a message to us on the plastic with the red ink that is apparently shooting from her ears. What a trickster. Let’s see what the message reads. HELP. What does that stand for? Oh, I know. Hi, Ebola Loves Paula. How creative.

And if you get Ebola, do not panic. Look here as a citizen is treated for Ebola in a military quarantine area. The treatment is a simple painless shock to the skull by high-tech medical devices that may seem to look a lot like machine guns, but are definitely not. However this is one side effect of Ebola. Yes, bad breath. So don’t forget. If you’re infected, simply take one of the new government-issued Ebola breath mints, which are flavored with the substitute cyanide, and that’s the truth behind the Ebola virus.

Note: This article is intended to be satire. Obviously.

US Army: Winter Weather Provides Ideal Conditions for Ebola to go Airborne
Dean Garrison September 18, 2014
15 Comments

Go to link and listen to video:

http://freedomoutpost.com/2014/09/u...-provides-ideal-conditions-ebola-go-airborne/

There is lot of debate in the blogosphere about whether Ebola is an airborne virus. We have previously highlighted the Canadian independent study, in which it was shown that pigs could pass Ebola to monkeys without physical contact. We have also featured the CDC release which clearly warned of infectious material through the air and urged that precautionary steps be taken in the commercial airline industry.

Still, no one seems to be willing to go on record and admit what many already suspect, that Ebola is in fact an airborne transmissible disease.

The latest information comes in the form of a research report and video from "Pissin on the Roses" blog. The gathered information would seem to suggest that the chances of Ebola going airborne are going to be greatest this winter.

Here is the video description:

According to the Center for Aerobiological Sciences, U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick, Maryland:

(1) Ebola has an aerosol stability that is comparable to Influenza-A

(2) Much like Flu, Airborne Ebola transmissions need Winter type conditions to maximize Aerosol infection

"Filoviruses, which are classified as Category A Bioterrorism Agents by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Atlanta, GA), have stability in aerosol form comparable to other lipid containing viruses such as influenza A virus, a low infectious dose by the aerosol route (less than 10 PFU) in NHPs, and case fatality rates as high as ~90% ."
"The mode of acquisition of viral infection in index cases is usually unknown. Secondary transmission of filovirus infection is typically thought to occur by direct contact with infected persons or infected blood or tissues. There is no strong evidence of secondary transmission by the aerosol route in African filovirus outbreaks. However, aerosol transmission is thought to be possible and may occur in conditions of lower temperature and humidity which may not have been factors in outbreaks in warmer climates [13]. At the very least, the potential exists for aerosol transmission, given that virus is detected in bodily secretions, the pulmonary alveolar interstitial cells, and within lung spaces"

Analysis:
Its clear that when Ebola is in the air it is at least as hardy as Influenza. Its also clear that coughing and sneezing is what makes Influenza airborne; the same should be expected of Ebola.

Moreover, just as sun, heat, and humidity along the Earths' Equatorial regions serve to 'burn' Influenza out of the air, the same should be expected of Ebola. The difference with Ebola is that physical contact with even the tiniest amounts of infected bodily fluid can cause infection, hence unlike flu it also readily spreads in equatorial regions. When Ebola spreads to the regions of the Earth which experience Fall and Winter Flu seasons, airborne Ebola infectious routes are to be expected in conjunction with direct contact infection.

Ebola has the capability to infect pretty much every cell in the entire human respiratory tract. Similarly, our skin offers little resistance to even the smallest amounts of Ebola. How much airborne transmission will occur will be a function of how well Ebola induces coughing and sneezing in its victims in cold weather climates. Coughing and nasal bleeding are both reported symptoms in Africa, so the worst should be expected. In that regard, co-infections with Flu, Cold, or even seasonal Allergies will readily transform Ebola victims into biowarefare factories.

Unlike Flu, a person need not inhale airborne Ebola to be infected via airborne transmission. Merely walking through an airspace (or touching the objects therein) where an Ebola victim has coughed or sneezed is potentially enough for a cold weather infection to occur. As such, all indicators are that Ebola's potential rate of infectious spread in cold weather climates is EXPLOSIVELY greater than what is occurring in Equatorial Africa

Mutation:
Given that the experts are keenly aware that most mutations lead to viral dead ends and given the ARMY's public research documents make such a clear case that the Ebola airborne risk is here and now, the question remains: why are the experts pushing a "future mutation" fear on the public?

The primary benefits of the media mutation gambit are:

1) When the public becomes aware Ebola is airborne, the public will default to blaming a mutation rather blaming the experts for having prior knowledge of Ebola's transmissability

2) A scary future fear makes for great immediate fund raising from a public seeking to avoid it.

3) The expert clique comes down hard on experts that do anything which is perceived to immediately raise public fear, an accurate warning to the public can immediately negatively affect a forthright expert's budget and prestige

4) Public knowledge of imminent Public Health threats negatively affects supply chains and the logistics planned responses

The next time some expert pushes the Ebola mutation risk ask them to specify exactly what mutations would be required to do as they claim. When they refuse, ask why experts spelled out the mutation steps of Avian Influenza and why they won't for Ebola. The answer is: Ebola can already infect pretty much every cell in the human respiratory system.

Whether you agree with this interpretation, or not, it would be wise to be prepared to make it through a potentially rough winter. Thinking you are smart enough to "out think" the virus is not wise. After all, things have been somewhat unpredictable thus far.

I don't care if it was man-made or if the scare is an attempt to make money through vaccines. The disease is real and very deadly. Current mortality rates are over 50%.

You should be prepared to self-quarantine to keep your family safe. Even if Ebola does not hit America this winter, there are plenty of other threats, including the respiratory illness that has been sweeping across the country and infecting America's children.

I would urge you to have a talk with your family and think about common sense preparations for this winter. We are loading up on more water and non-perishable food. If money is tight, as it is for most, simply do what we are doing. Prioritize things that you will use anyway. We are getting things like extra diapers and non-perishable foods that we won't mind eating even if there is no outbreak. It doesn't have to hurt financially if you buy things that you will use anyway. Please do something. This is no time to roll the dice.

If the public panics, no one will make airline reservations to go visit gramma and grampa over the Thanksgiving weekend and grocery stores will not sell all their Thanksgiving food ware.
If the public panics, Black Friday will NOT happen!
And last but not least, if the public panics, santa will be wearing more than just his Red suit this year...it'll either be covered by an XXX-Lg Bio suit and mask and gloves and booties OR we'll all get a note, via email of course, that santa just didn't feel safe coming in to all our houses, doesn't want to take the chance he might take something back to Mrs Claus and his elves and if things get better, he'll catch up with us next year. Watch what they do, not what they say.

I read similar reports. The one I read said that ebola could live on surfaces up to 23 days under certain conditions. And fyi, reports I've read have said that the only thing that can kill it is bleach.

That's why the condition of those people in Dallas whom we know to have been exposed is so important. We'll know in a coupla' weeks if any of these people have caught the virus. That will tell us if the CDC has told us the truth about how long the virus lives on surfaces. That alone. Not what they have said. Not what can be gathered from reports.

The truth will be revealed by the empirical evidence of what actually happens in the next two weeks.
For instance:
It's likely the girlfriend already has it.

The other three who have been in the apartment may get it from touching surfaces, but they could have touched something within a short time. That alone won't tell us much.

If the ambulance drivers and the health care workers in the hospital who did not use the proper protocols get it, then that tells us that it is more contagious than we've been told.

If the others who rode in the ambulance (after Duncan) get it, then that tells us that the virus can remain alive longer than 90 minutes and even after the surfaces have been cleaned with ordinary disinfectant.

If it has spread beyond the people that the CDC is monitoring (somebody else in Dallas or somebody who was on the plane with Duncan), then that tells us that it's wildly contagious and could get out-of-control. In that case, dig a moat around your house and don't come out until spring.

If none of the above get it, then we're in the clear.

Don't believe a word anybody is telling you at this point. Just watch for now. Wait and see for yourself what happens between now and November.

Regardless, it's a good idea to stock up, get in the habit of washing your hands and social distancing. And for anyone who works in an office, don't forget to wipe down the keyboard before you sit down at your desk.

Yes, I've long postulated here, too, that economy tanking was inevitable and TPTB, to avoid they being
hung from nearest lamp post, when it happens, will use an 'event' to blame their 'recovery' failure upon.

I'm also concerned how many fewer smart voters (anti-democrats) will opt out of standing in long public

Panic is one thing but what about when people realize they can't trust the govt authorities or medical system and choose to avoid seeking medical attention?

We have good medical care in my area from emergency room to specialists to alternative care options but once things heat up I'd be very reluctant to go to the hospital just to die or even worse contract ebola when I didn't already have it.

Plus I strongly believe tptb (our govt) would love to see a major culling of the population.

RR, what is the 'reasonable time to let the Quat disinfectants sit'?

Here's a really good chart covering various disinfectants - starting with common bleach - that folks ought to save and even print off and put into their SHTF reference binders.

http://www.education.nh.gov/instruction/school_health/documents/disinfectants.pdf

Dwell time for quaternaries is generally 10 minutes, which gives a safety margin beyond what is absolutely required. How long depends on the specific product. Note that chart rates the relative disinfection power on the products according to CDC guidelines as low or medium. You and I aren't going to get high level stuff just because it's not safe for general use.

I would strongly advise people to check the dates on anything they have stored. Like bleach these compounds - any and all of them - have a finite shelf life. I used to have a case of hospital-grade quaternary disinfectant in spray bottles but it was well out-of-date when I finally tossed it, to be replaced with fresh.

BTW, quaternary compounds and phenols (Lysol is a good example of same) in particular have long practical shelf lives. Bleach, once mixed, may have as little as 24 hours of practical life before it begins to degrade.

Hope this helps.
