Has anyone heard from Dozdoats since his family issues? Last seen mid December.

Yes, mother and his wife from what he posted. Sad, it is hard to grieve for 1 I couldn't imagine 2 at the same time. I always looked for his posts. He is a character for sure. The wealth of knowledge he shared together with a few others made many of us learn and understand things we didn't.

I think I have his address somewhere. I've been meaning to send him a card. I'm worried about him... that sort of shock after the immense effort and time to arrange their lives at home, and then the finances necessary to cover long term care...and then they both pass in a week? !! I hope he'll eventually see the blessing in it; from several conversations, the ladies in his life were strong, successful women. I know neither would be content in a home...yet it was the only way they could get adequate care. God gave them a blessing. But darned hard on those left behind.

When my late x wife, the mother of my kids, passed away, I got real quite on here for a long time. Takes time.

He suffered a monumental loss and I'm sure nothing in his life looks like it did. I think of him frequently and pray that healing has begun for him.
