Very bitter. Used as a febrifuge. That seems to be it's main mode of action. Having access to cheap, easy to swallow aspirin (with standardized dosages!), I haven't experimented with it m7ch, but we have several healthy stands of it in wet areas on the farm, if it's ever needed.

It actually balances out formulas nicely, if a 'cool' herb is needed. It was used quite a bit during the Spanish flu. It work as a stimulating diaphoretic and anti spasmodic. Quite bitter, though.

I have a small amount of Boneset tincture left from when I took it quite a ways back. I dnt remember positively but I think? I was taking it for my M.S. but wont swear to it. But I took it for many, many months.

This is the herb I was looking for!

My sister had a weird accident Friday. She broke BOTH wrists and they’re not sure how badly she hurt the right knee, yet. It’s swollen and sutured....

She was getting a referral to an ortho dr yesterday , I haven’t heard back yet from her...I feel just so bad for her right now.

At 63 years old the healing time isn’t going to be fun, not to mention her stunning, highly producing garden is in full swing with picking and canning season upon her.

I’m very interested in getting hold of something to help. Thanks.
Hope you’re healing well!

There is also comfrey aka Symphytum officiale aka knitbone. You should limit its use to only 2 weeks due to its potential effect on the liver.
