No rocket science to this...............Trump knows there is still a large baby boomer majority who are conservative and faith based in their world view to Christianity and/or some ties of that to Old Testament Judaism that make up the core of his voter block.
I don't see that is a commitment on his part of any deep seated faith initiative within his own personal life.......but a political move to rally the troops so to speak and rattle the cage of the left.
Consider that Trump called that prosperity gospel phony Kenneth Copeland a "great man of God" to lead in pray at many of his functions tells me he doesn't know Christian doctrine at all...........
I'll leave this subject with a quote...........
"I like your Christ.....but not do not like your Christians.....they are so unlike your Christ" -Mahatma Gandhi
Where do we get a shirt?
I can't disagree with much of what you said..............but as far as politics I trust no one who is subservient to the central bankers (aka federal reserve). Doesn't matter whether they are left or right.Hmmm......... Well, India has massive problems with muzzies themselves. Now who's worse, Christians or muzzies?
Trump and Copeland -- don't forget, Trump likes prosperity too. Look where it got him.
Does DJT tell the truth or not? If he didn't he wouldn't have all the supporters he does.
As for political moves, who's really bad, lefties/progs or the rest of us?
You saw what they did with the last election, for one thing.
Good points with which one can't argue, that's a fact. Another fact is that Trump is not our savior; we already have the One we need. But he's at least showing the signs of the Holy Spirit pulling on his life. Judging someone's spiritual standing is not my job, thankfully, as I work out my own salvation. But politically speaking, I think the story of Nebukanezzar and how God told him he was His man for the times may well have relevance to President Trump's situation.I can't disagree with much of what you said..............but as far as politics I trust no one who is subservient to the central bankers (aka federal reserve). Doesn't matter whether they are left or right.
Can't argue with Ghandi on that point either. Ascetism is, I suppose, its own form of earthly holiness. His quote, however, reminds me of another oldie but goodie:"I like your Christ.....but not do not like your Christians.....they are so unlike your Christ" -Mahatma Gandhi
