EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) There is new information Wednesday night into an ongoing I-Team investigation regarding so-called “Mystery Notes” found in sealed food and other products across Pennsylvania as well as state parks.
This story is developing in real-time and the I-Team is currently working on several leads as to where the notes may be coming from, their origin, as well as, who might be responsible for the messages on those notes.
All of that is a work in progress and 28/22 News continues to hear from people all over Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania and beyond, people who want to weigh in.
Found a Note? Contact the I-Team
The I-Team first reported word of the “Mystery Notes” two weeks ago, when a man found a note inside the plastic bag of a box of cereal he purchased in Luzerne County.
“It just bothers me, really it’s not the note that really bothers me. These notes are found inside kids’ food,” said Joe Miller of Sugarloaf Township.

And since that report, we have heard from dozens of people from across northeastern and central Pennsylvania and beyond.

This map shows where notes have been found in a wide variety of food products as well as other products like beauty supplies. The notes have also been found pinned to trees at state parks.

All of the notes are similar in that they contain a variety of words referencing current and past world events, pop culture, and conspiracy theories. The I-Team is working on several leads as to the origin of the notes and who might be responsible for putting them into products that are a work in progress.
As people from all across, the area continue to reach out to the I-Team with theories about what is going on. 28/22 News spoke to a woman from Luzerne County who says she found a note several years ago in a box of cookies and didn't know what to make of it.
She saw the I-Team's recent reports and has been analyzing the notes. She describes herself as an intuitive person although she did not want to be identified but wanted to weigh in.

"I actually think that this is one of the most important aspects of this story. I think that the person could be someone that is labeled in our society as having some sort of mental issue but the way the note is written, this person is very intelligent, very updated with things through our history that are definitely easily investigated. Things going on in both the past and present day," said Beth, of Luzerne County.
Again, the I-Team is working on several leads we can confidently call "solid leads." As to where how these notes are being placed in the products as well as who or what groups may be responsible

If you think you know what the notes mean, contact the I-Team and give us your take.

I just read all that. Is it always the same message? I wonder how they are getting it in the product during manufacturing? I think it’s a legitimate warning from some smart people. I think we can make out quite a bit of it and it’s the same stuff we all know already, they’re trying to get the information to the masses like the literature airdrops during war

Since its not all the same products I would be curious what stores they came from and if there was a central distribution point they were being put in.
The map in the OP is a huge area. Like 3 hours n-s and probably 2-2.5 hours e-w.

There is a game call Geocache and there are geocaches all over the World. You are supposed to take one of the "treasures" and leave a "treasure".

You load the app on your phone and it will reveal geocaches that are nearby. There are over 800 in my little area.

The "Illuminati" figured prominently in Carroll Quigley's "Tragedy & Hope" tome.

The book has attracted the attention of those interested in geopolitics due to Quigley's assertion that a secret society initially led by Cecil Rhodes, Alfred Milner and others had considerable influence over British and American foreign policy in the first half of the twentieth century. From 1909 to 1913, Milner organized the outer ring of this society as the semi-secret Round Table groups.[1]

There are links within above I have not followed.
