Cutlass power locks

The power locks in my 92 Cutlass have been failing intermittantly this week. My chilton manual didn't show much about the wiring to them.
I learned on a web forum there it a relay to operate them behind the passenger kick panel. I removed the glove box and managed to touch it with one finger today. I could feel the contacts working when I moved the switch on the door. The locks will work a few times and fail randomly.
The relay will take some effort to get out so I am going to use an air conditioned place I have access to. I think I get a new relay before I remove the old one. Has anybody had trouble with these? I am thinking the contacts are not making a good enough connection to operate the locks. The fuel pump relay on this car was bad when I bought it. It would test out ok with a meter but would not power the fuel pump.

The trouble turned out to be a circuit breaker. It powered both the power seats and locks. The drivers seat had a low reisastance short that was tripping the breaker. Then it would cool off and reset. After a while the breaker failed completely. Lucky for me the car didn't catch fire. I just unplugged the seat. I still need to try to find the bad wire in it.
I bought a Hays manual that had a much better electrical section than the Chilton.
