UNEX Crisis point

At 5:32 Tuesday morning I can’t believe how precise and on point the posters, their articles, and the articles posts are. First Ragnarok’s compiled list of articles. Second the Geddes article by Minnesota and then the Yon article. Do clear thoughts and posts like this portend an ominous quickening in society?

Does seem a mite thicker than normal. I haven't exactly been the doomerish sort as long as some; I came to it late, in my early 20s and that 20 years ago. But if I had a nickel for every "crisis point" I've seen since, I could build me one whopper of a bunker.

Just 'cuz you survived a crisis doesn't mean it wasn't a crisis.

I started dooming in the mid-60s, reading the civil defense manuals they gave away free at the bowling alley. A lot of S has HTF since then, and a great deal of it mattered.

We prepare so we don't have to panic with the masses.

Pride comes before the fall.....Pride month ended.
It's like birthing pangs......things are getting faster and faster, harder and harder.....till it goes pop.

Saw a documentary a couple of days ago and that phrase was one Churchill used in a speech, during the Blitz (bombing of London in WWII).

Which phrase? I want to give credit where credit is due. Didn't realize I was plagiarizing!

I don't think anyone thinks that, so it's cool and a common phrase probably isn't plagiarizing, like "You're fired".

But to answer your question it's: Keep Calm and Carry On.

Churchhill was addressing the residents of London and they did in fact Keep Calm and Carry On. During the day, they would wear uniforms, and go about their jobs, going into work there may be a sign up in front of a bombed out building, that said, Moved next door.

And then in the evening they would put on suits and silky dresses and go into basements and dance and sing, while air raid sirens went off and drowned out the singer, who just kept on singing.

Part of the rest of that speech was something like:

...and carry on we will. We will carry on until death or victory. (if you can imagine Churchill's voice)
