Poem Covid Poem

I have been contacted by several nieces/nephews, who aren't really nieces/nephews but they are my friend's college kids who have always referred to me as 'Aunt BE.' The contacts have been happening over the last 2 weeks and it's been about peer pressure to get the shot. I found myself going into statistical lecture-mode, which I'm not sure had the desired effect. So last night when I couldn't sleep, I came up with this REALLY DARK Poem, (because I'm all about 'Shock Value'), and I just sent it off to them. I hope it scares them enough to make them THINK!!!

You’re The Pariah Now

I used to be singled out
For not going along with the crowd
For not locking myself inside
For not taking the fear-factor ride

People with only eyes and hair
Wearing their masks everywhere
Eyes that are full of fear…
If you were maskless and got near

No shirt, no mask, no shoes
Those were the new store rules
Those who would not conform
Made phoning in orders the norm

The masks became a god to many
Believing they protected them from near death
Little did the masked-up know
It was stealing and affecting their breath

Then came the untested, emergency shots
And many lined up like programmed robots
They had no idea what those shots were embedding
Now we find out the vaxed are all shedding

I am a non-vaxer, anti-masker
Non-knee bender who is fearless as you please
It breaks my heart to even fathom….
Within a year you could all be zombies.

You have your woke-culture, selfie-vaxer pride
Which will do you no good after you’ve died;
Because you fell for the New World Order hoax
Now the un-vaxed have to watch you croak.

You’re the pariah now

First the masked they became
Then the blind folds looked the same
Next were the head phones, so you could not acknowledge the insane
Then I spoke in my own breath, so they shut me down with treason and death....
