Connecticut is asking nursing homes to accept COVID-19-positive patients discharged from hospitals as the state looks to alleviate the burden on the healthcare system during the latest wave of the pandemic.
New guidance from the Connecticut Department of Public Health says post-acute care facilities, a category which includes nursing homes, should take in patients discharged from a hospital 'regardless of COVID-19 status,' according to a memo dated Jan. 6.

They have to move these patients somewhere. Covid is quite long lasting (high oxygen needs) and hospitals need to move them out for new patients, sadly. Nursing homes can section off a wing or a group of rooms for covid patients and try to staff them with dedicated nurses/CNAs. That's what one of our nursing homes did and it worked.

Why isn’t China Joe setting up military field hospitals like Trump did. They even sent a Red Cross ship to NY. Every dang one … never used. Covid miraculously got better, they never used the 2 huge ones in MI that I personally know of. They’re doing it again.

Our government and leaders and the people selling the science are screwing us over laughing at us. They think it’s a joke. Playing us like a fiddle. China Joe ran on he would beat Covid. He’s promoting it.

Putting them in nursing homes is exactly what killed many residence of these nursing homes in 2020.
