CHINA appears to be beefing up three air bases near Taiwan amid fears Beijing is preparing for World War Three.
New satellite images have revealed China is upgrading its military bases along its southeastern coast, nearest to Taiwan, suggesting Beijing might be stepping up its plans to invade the island.

The building work at the three airbases in Fujian province will give long-term logistical air combat support to the People’s Liberation Army Air Force, which has repeatedly invaded Taiwan airspace in the last month.
The work is taking place at the Chinese air force's bases at Longtian, Huian, and Zhangzhou - all of which lie between 100 and 200 miles from Taiwan.
The upgrading appears to fall in line with Beijing’s increasingly aggressive stance towards the island nation.
China regards Taiwan as part of its territory and has long threatened to use force to bring it under its control, with regular invasion drills carried out by its military.
The images, captured by Planet Labs and published by military site The Drive, showed work on aircraft shelters and reinforced munitions storage started early last year and continued during the Covid pandemic.
Four aircraft structures are seen being built at one end of Longtian Airbase in the pictures, which would be the only protective aviation infrastructure on site

IF the ChiCom PLAN and PLAF can isolate and control the South China Sea, vis-a-vis air superiority and unrestricted warfare via submarines and anti-submarine forces, coupled with hypersonic cruise missiles launched from mainland China, all precluding American force projection by way of aircraft and aircraft carriers, Taiwan may not be defensible. War planners have gamed this continually for years, and the results have not been positive for the American side. Time and technology do not stand still, and the ChiComs are constant thieves of American technology, thereby skipping many productive years of R&D, and building workable copies of American and Allied weapons’ systems. Unless we are able to roll-out vast quantities of higher tech weapons than the ChiComs, WHEN war erupts, we are well and truly FOOKED! If that happens, you can thank your treasonous politicians, businessmen, and media mavens- the same that cost us Korea, Vietnam, and the Middle East.

Former PM Tony Abbott accuses China of being a bully
Satellite images have been released showing upgraded Chinese military air bases near Taiwan amid rising regional tensions.
Three sites in Fujian province, southern China, have been refurbished or fortified and will provide air combat support to the superpower's air force, reports The South China Post.
The images were published after the People's Liberation Army air force flew 149 flights into Taiwan's air defence identification zone (ADIZ) over four days earlier this month, a record figure.

Taipei says it will respond to any incursions.
Beijing has cast waves of aggression toward the island ever since the former nationalist government fled there at the end of the Chinese civil war in 1949.
Although Taiwan and China have been separately governed for more than 70 years, Beijing views the democratic island of 24 million people as part of its territory and has regularly stated its aim of "reunification", despite the fact Taiwan has never been ruled by the Chinese Communist Party.

The images, obtained by Planet Labs and published by US website The Drive, show that new building work on the air bases began last year and continued through the pandemic.

One of the airbases has been enlarged equipped with air defence installations.
At least five storage bunkers are also being constructed.
Earlier this month, Taiwan's defence minister said China could be ready to mount a "full scale" invasion of the island by 2025.
Chiu Kuo-cheng told Taiwan's parliament cross-strait military tensions are "the most serious" in more than 40 years since he joined the military, Taiwan's official Central News Agency (CNA) reported.

And just days later, visiting former prime minister Tony Abbott described China's President Xi Jinping as "the new red emperor" in a speech delivered to a security forum.
He said despite China's increasing antagonism, Taiwan's allies were ready to defend it.
"As things stand, how could Taiwanese people ever want to exchange their current lives for an alternative that's poorer and less free?" Mr Abbott said.

shouldn't be distracted away from the ENTIRE eventuality >>> looking more & more like China will make the first gambit - followed soon after by Iran and Putin with a few smaller trivials ...

nothing can be done anymore to stop China's move - it's a 100 years opportunity having a prostrated USA and even more pathetic Euro than normal ....

only question open is just how bad will it get? - Japan is worried and rightly so

Only way to defend. Is give Taiwan 20-300kt nukes with 15 short, and 5 medium range missles.
No way the US can do a sustained Navel engagement in in the South China sea.
Japan, South Korea, and Australia should do the same.

IF the ChiCom airbases on the Mainland are defensible from American/Allied attacks, then the need for PLAF air tankers will not be so acute, when prosecuting the air battle-space over Taiwan. Having such short logistical trains will benefit the ChiComs, and hamstring/neuter American/Allied force projection. IF there is a war between America and China, it must be fast, violent, and crushing, for America to win. Otherwise, best get used to eating 1/4 calories you now intake, and learn to speak Mandarin.

You’re right, Doug. One shot, one kill. Or in this case a TOT scenario. Yet we all know, no plan survives first contact with the enemy. WHEN we have to move, we must have equipment as advanced, powerful, and precise, as something from a modern Star Trek movie. Question then becomes, who do we have, that has the brains, balls, and sense, to do the deed?

FYI, found this last night, this is the MOST expensive film release in China's history.
The Chosin Reservoir. The Chinese are preparing their population for war. Partial on the story.
Youtube link for the trailer below.

China releases record $200M anti-US propaganda war movie

A new record-setting $200 million Chinese war movie commissioned by the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) depicts the Korean War Battle of Chosin Reservoir as a key victory for the Chinese forces that fought against the U.S. and United Nations, despite suffering major losses.

The nearly three-hour-long movie, “The Battle at Lake Changjin” — the Chinese name for the Battle of Chosin Reservoir — released September 30 tells the story of the battle from the Chinese perspective. While the U.S. views the battle as a successful fight to break through an encirclement by a larger Chinese force that suffered heavier casualties, CNN reportedChina sees the battle as its most critical victory during the war and refers to it as the “War to Resist American Aggression and Aid Korea.”

Who is afraid China will start WW3? I don't see any evidence the US administration is even aware of anything important, much less concerned. Is it just the author of the opening article? Or foreign governments?

Brandon ain't gonna notice a thing until it hits him, as evidenced in Afghanistan.

The KEY date is this Saturday the 23rd, when the "official" Evergrande default happens. Zerohedge has a long article on Evergrandes CATASTROPHIC attempts to raise money, sell stuff and last till Saturday. Today they had a 14 % drop in their stock, plus a 97 percent drop in real estate sales etc etc. and they are taking down OTHER companies tied into them. And Xi the MORON apparently isn't even noticing what is happening.

Evergrande defaults on Saturday and global markets go down 10,000 points on Monday or next week. Sheesh we are right on the edge of a Chinese economic collapse and that is all Xi needs to launch on Taiwan. 62 trillion chinese real estate market on the crappers. amazing

The quicker Joe fails the quicker the CCP will push their advantage to take care of their business.

With the falling poll numbers and the continued growing of push back here in the states against the Blundering Biden and Demon-crats trying to reduce us to their totalitarian rule, CCP will physically act against Taiwan and ratchet up their bio and economic war against the USA.

My best guess is anytime between now and August they will act much more aggressively up to active war.
