…… Cedar planks

I am experimenting with my grilling skills. Just made salmon on a cedar plank and it was delicious! I bought the combo from the store (Aldi) but I was wondering where to source some planks for myself. The plank looks a lot like a cedar shake that one would put on a house. Can I just go up to Menards and buy a bunch of shakes? Or are those treated in some manner?

TIA!

Don't know why a shake would be treated. Cedar is naturally weather resistant. Lumber yards sell cedar boards. If you have access to a band saw 3/4 boards can be ripped down to 3/8 thickness.
