Pixmo, I like that! My wife just took youngest son to Mount Vernon today, for his driving test. This time, unlike last time, they actually heeded my advice to arrive BEFORE the doors opened, so they got a test slot. He just called a little while ago, to say he passed his test. He was using our 454 powered K2500 Suburban, a mere 6,500 lbs. when empty and low on gas. He got marked down for parallel parking, backing around a corner from a driveway, and cutting left turns a bit. But he passed it in the family behemoth! SUV's forever, huh? 
Now watch out, world! The Kid is one the road!
And since a recent state law doesn't let new drivers carry passengers -- when four 16 year olds go to basketball practice, there will be four cars on the road driven by kids, not one. OH yeah, burn that gas!
