CANCER KILLER HERB

YES, IT IS "SWEET ANNIE", ARTEMESIA ANNUA L (also called Sweet Wormwood or Quing Hao) the same artemisinin in it that kills malaria parasites ALSO has been found to selectively, only destroy CANCEROUS cells because they take up iron faster than healthy cells.

This fellow presents FOLLOW UP DISCUSSIONS OF DOSAGES AND RESULTS FOR PEOPLE WHO WERE TAKING ARTEMISININ FOR THEIR CANCER. Very interesting reading!

PS- We have had three cases of cancer pop up among close relatives lately and I have purchased 9 bottles of this stuff (the artemisinin concentrated from the plant) in case I turn up with it. THE STUFF IS GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND BUY AND THE PRICE SEEMS TO BE DOUBLING SO GET IT WHILE YOU CAN.

If anyone wants an idea to make some money, if I were them I would purchase some of the GENUINE ARTIMISIA ANNUA L. "SWEET ANNIE" SEEDS STILL AVAILABLE and carefully START GROWING THIS STUFF BECAUSE THE PLANTS EACH SELL FOR $10 and up APIECE plus shipping IF YOU CAN FIND THEM and they are almost impossible to find. By the way, the seeds are impossibly small, and if you managed to grow them for seed the stuff (SEEDS) are probably WORTH MORE THAN GOLD PER OUNCE!

As people find out about this stuff the demand is increasing and the Pharmaceutical/ herbal community as well as WORLD HEALTH are all begun actively SUPPRESSING ACCESS TO THIS HERB. World health Org had a meeting of all major growers and signed an agreement with major pharmaceutical companies to control and limit access to it.

WOW. NOW, IT WOULD SEEM FROM THIS EXCERPT FROM "MDBROWSE" THAT Schistosomiasis IS ANOTHER PARASITE CLEARED UP WITH ARTEMISININ FROM "SWEET ANNIE"

Oral artemether for prevention of Schistosoma mansoni infection: randomised controlled trial.
The Lancet, vol.355, April 15, 2000, pg.1320-25

Chemotherapy with praziquantel is the current strategy of choice to control schistosomiasis. However, in view of concern about praziquantel tolerance or resistance, new drugs are needed. Artemether, a derivative of the antimalarial drug artemisinin, kills immature schistosomes of Schistosoma japonicum, and reduces the incidence of infection in field trials. Laboratory studies have also showed activity by this drug against S mansoni. Authors report a randomised double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial of artemether to prevent S mansoni infection.

Interpretation of this study is that oral artemether is safe and shows a prophylactic effect against S mansoni. The use of artemether may be recommended in appropriated situations as an additional tool for more effective schistosomiasis control measures. However the application needs to be carefully assessed especially in view of the concern that it could select for resistant plasmodia

Praziquantel is the drug of choice - it is active against all schistosome species, can be easily administered, has high cure and egg-reduction rates, and no or only mild side-effects. However, field studies in a community in Senegal exposed to a very intense focus of Schistosoma mansoni showed unexpected low cure rates after praziquantel.

These observations raised concern about praziquantel tolerance or resistance. oxamniquine (for S mansoni) and metrifonate (for S haematobium) are effective but are difficult to obtain in some African countries. The production of oxamniquine has been reduced and metrifonate has been withdrawn from the market.

For schistosomiasis, a drug that kills immature worms can be defined as chemoprophylaxis, because it prevents the development of the mature female worms that cause damage to the human host as a result of egg secretion.

Derivatives of artemisinin (the Chinese drug qinghaosu) were tested in the laboratory and showed highest activity against immature worms.

For S mansoni, the killing of immature worms by artemether was shown in vitro, and is well documented in mice with worm-reduction rates of 97-100%. The highest efficacy was seen between days 7 and 28 after the mice had been infected. This is the period when praziquantel and other schistosomicides are less effective.

The study showed that oral artemether is safe and has a clear prophylactic effect against S mansoni.
The incidence of S mansoni infection was 50% lower in those children who received artemether rather than placebo. The intensity of infection among the positive children was also reduced significantly.

In the case of schistosomiasis, control measures could be improved and may even lead to higher cure rates by combination therapy with drugs with different modes of action; one acting against immature worms, e.g. artemether, and the other against adult worms, eg. praziquantel. Such an approach could also reduce the risk of developing resistance.

Wow... The more we seem to find out, the more I question "modern medicine".

can anyone tell me how I can make use of it, as in tincture? infusion? what parts. I am more and more trying to go all holistice and herbs and vits ...being pro active.

I have googled this and can;t seem to find a place that speaks to the layman on how to use it. right now I just make crafts with it. I had no idea it was medicinal.

thanks Aint!

James Duke says in his book Green Pharmacy to use 2-5 teaspoons to make a tea and drink 1-3 cups a day as treatment for intestinal parasites. He has a web site also, I don't know the address though.

thanks, Goatlady... I respect the potent herbs and understand you must know what you are doing, so I will research. this tea... I will look to see if I can find is it DRIED herb or just go pick the tops? I'm hoping herb mountain or Summerthyme might have made this, too.

I made a tincture (with vodka) of Artemis, ( it was NOT Sweet annie or Silver king, I think it was Southern Artemisia) ...cloves and green hulls of walnuts and gave it to the critters took a bit but could not stomache the bitter taste.!

I'm assuming the tincture you made for the critters was for worming? Hoegger's Caprine Supply has a great herbal wormer that you just sprinkle on their feed and they gulp it down with no problems and no worms and no residual in the milk or meat at any time! Not expensive at all as I remember. Can be used for all goats, cows, piggies, etc. It's not a good idea to give animals alcohol at all. As to picking your own, as for anything but especially for herbs you MUST know your plant identification absolutely - St. Annie has a perchance to resemble deadly hemlock! As a good rule of thumb, when reading about or asking about herbs unless it is clearly stated the herbs are used in dried form - most potent as the water that dilutes the medicinal properties is gone.

thanks again, Goatlady. yes I gave it to the dog and kitties just a teeny bit watered down.

I have since been told by others not to give Alcahol even watered down to the critters.

I was more interested in the atributes for melonomas, and my GF that has has 2 breast cancer scares, thank goodness both times it was cysts.

I followed all the links above and not finding what I am looking for.

I.E.... if it CAN be made into tinctures, or salves, or if you buy capsules and put crumbled dry arial parts...or root. that kind of info.

I have some herbal pages to look at, but keep being called away~!!!
