Defense "related" , electronic R&D lab. Spent 4 of the 6 years working on EMP and EW systems and countermeasures there. Sort of like Santa's Elves workshop, just with cooler playtoys. Worked with lasers, microwave, OTP encryption hardware, "real high end" optics, and many other thigs you just wished your college physics class had.

Probably.

Ready? Set? Probably a lot more than most. You have decided long ago to become prepared, which the majority of the sheeple still have not done. You have studied factors and issues that could cause you harm and/or discomfort, and have decided that it is in your best interest to prepare for them. You have faith, food, water, medical supplies, shelter, heat, and knowledge, which is what will get you out of situations where there might be a gap in your preps (think MacGuyver). A roll of duct tape, a pocket knife, a pocket magnifier, and a few other small items can do a suprising many things in a pinch. Even pocket lint has its uses. Pray for the best, expect the worst, and prep for as much of what you might get and you should be fine.

Gone over the edge? IMPOSSIBLE!
